This second recommendation is only a half one, because I actually never got to the eating part haha. 🙈
In South Korea they LOVE what they call Fish cakes. There is definitely fish, but repeat after me: It is NOT A CAKE! 👀
In my head, I was picturing a savory muffin type, a bit like a Tielle (French crab cake). It turns out, this woman gave me a long bowel-looking dough and poured a liquid on top of it, into what looked like a black trash bag. I really intended to eat it but then I waited & the more I thought about it, I just never got to trust it. 🙊
The next day, I bought another from a different place, I am ashamed to say that the presentation was way more appealing and it was actually pretty good. Honestly, I feel bad because I almost never throw food away, and it probably wasn't bad! At least more authentic than in a fancy restaurant. If I ever go back, I think I will try it, but I'll eat it right away so that it doesn't go bad. Would you have tried it? 😅
