Another landmark hotel. In 1937, Architect Henry Hohauser completed this art deco building in Miami Beach. The Park Central Hotel quickly became a popular hangout for Hollywood stars. During Ocean Drive’s renaissance in the early 1990’s, it catered to the fashion industry, and to Vampire Lestat, the narrator of Anne Rice’s “Vampire Chronicles”. Today, combined with adjoining buildings, it is known as the Celino Hotel.
