If Jaune does end up killing Cinder, which I doubt he will, I don’t want it to be a goal that he sets out to do. But rather, it turns out to be more reactionary or accidental. Like for example: JNR just beat Cinder together and decides to spare her and just hand her over to Atlas authorities or whatever. Cinder not wanting to go down like that, lunges at say Ren or Nora, Jaune sees this and just swings his sword as a reaction not caring where his sword hits, and it ends up hitting somewhere fatal.

i never got why jaune was all like “run and live! that’s an idea i can get behind” because every moment after that all he’s ever done is try his fucking best to piss off people who could kill him easily. he fucking ripped the shit out of qrow for having a semblance that literally is the root cause of his alcoholism. he literally went fucking feral on cinder and went to stab her in the head. he made a plan that was tailored 100% to piss off a high-ranking atlas general. they tried to play him off as a coward in volume 1 but ever since he’s been trying to spit at god. he’d call the brothers assholes and get vaporised in 0.2 seconds and im not convinced he’d regret it.
