Soundpeats T2 : Design and Build
So this Soundpeats T2‘s case is small and well constructed.
It’s tiny in one dimension, meaning it’s great to fit in the Jeans. The magnetic keeps case locked pretty well. The buds are easy to get in and out of the case, and they seat exceptionally well on the charging connectors. This case charges by a USB type-c and does not support wireless charging, which is a bump.
It’s got three lights on the case that indicate the charging status and battery capacity left on the case. Once you charge these earbuds, the battery lasts about 10 hours for the earbuds and can be extended up to 30 hours using the case.
But those usage periods will drop if you start using the ANC or the ambient mode or listen to the volume extremely loud, which is not recommended.
Now the Soundpeats T2‘s are a relatively large barrel shaped earbud with a very short neck that ends up being fantastic actually for comfort stability, and the earbuds lack any kind of blocked up feeling.
And these can be used for high impact workouts and fitness run, as this fits me pretty well.
Design and Build
4.3/5
Soundpeats T2 : Features
These have Bluetooth 5.2, which is the latest Bluetooth addition. These earbuds come with an IPX6 waterproof rating, which means these earbuds can resist high-pressure, heavy sprays of water, Which is Impressive
The Soundpeats T2’s have excellent touch controls, but they do omit the previous track. Now they control everything else, including volume ANC on-off ambient mode and the voice assistant.
They also have done voice prompts for pass through ANC on and Normal mode. They have audible prompts for play pause and next track, and those are the actual prompts in English for those three actions.
Talking about the max volume, well, I mean, look, the Soundpeats T2 is one of the very loudest Soundpeats True Wireless earbuds that I’ve tested. It goes about 105 decibels that is kicking loud people, just be careful out on your ear drums you may damage it eventually.
Features
4.5/5

Sound
The sound quality could be classified as a bass head lover’s dream bud as this packs some real Deep Bass. The Soundpeats T2 pump out deep bass that’s big, punchy, quite well defined, and the bass is on par with or maybe just slightly better than the Soundpeats sonic.
Soundpeats tuned these again with a kind of that U-shaped signature. They pumped up the vocals, and they pumped in some nice bright highs to match that excellent bass where they suffered just a little bit.
I’m willing to overlook it because of the great overall sound. There’s some mid-range clarity that can be difficult to hear. Now the sound stage is the second area. They got it almost right for me, but it’s just not very big. There’s totally a clear separation between left and right channels, but they just never really get a sound stage that kind of goes outside the boundaries of my head it’s still decent, but it’s not the best that I’ve heard.
Overall, I have enjoyed the energetic sound and super strong deep bass with the solid male and female vocals on these earbuds.

Active Noise Cancelling (ANC)
Soundpeats using Hybrid Active Noise cancelling on these. The ANC on these is really good.
I love that it has the soft power on mode because you can really hear it start to eliminate the Outside noises and surrounding noises as it powers up to full control.
I rate the Active Noise Cancelling up there with the best ANC buds that I’ve tested, like the Soundcore’s.
The ambient mode is also pretty good. I wish it were adjustable somehow, but it’s still a mode that I could use for a decent amount of time to give me a good awareness of what’s going on around me or being able to listen to ambient noise while listening to music in the background.

Best Over Ear Headphones For Working Out
Soundpeats T2 : Latency
Soundpeats T2 are great for watching a video, they figured it out, and it just works really well. But I was a little bit surprised when I checked the latency, and these are slower earbuds that I have reviewed in Soundpeats True wireless earbuds, especially with all those 5.2 Bluetooth earbuds.
These are not a gamer earbud at all now, regardless of how slow that latency is. I’m going to tell you that the Bluetooth connectivity in the range on it is stellar.
These connect exceptionally quickly out of the case to my phone, even from mono mode to stereo mode.
It is literally like before you can pull that bud entirely out of the case.
Battery
4.5/5Soundpeats T2 : Mic and Call Quality
Based on the phone call, Soundpeats has put some decent mics into the Soundpeats T2. The earbuds pick up my voice okay.
There’s often some kind of static or electronic tones mixed in with my voice, and those background noises didn’t impede my voice too much, but the sound isn’t eliminated either.
Call Quality
3.5/5Soundpeats T2 : Overall
Alright, let’s wrap this up; the Soudnpeats T2’s are selling on Amazon right now for about $69 bucks, and that’s right about the right price for an entry-level hybrid ANC earbud. They sound great with massive deep bass.
Get Yourself a Soundpeats T2 at Amazon here (Save $10)
They got vibrant highs, as I said, they got excellent ANC and good ambient mode Soundpeats T2 are great for watching movies. They’re actually great for running and working out as well the controls, the Bluetooth, and the battery life is all excellent.
The bud designs themselves again; it, like entirely in my mind, eliminates occlusion, so running jogging high impact workouts with them are just great for me.
On the con side, that latency is pretty low, so you’re not going to be using these for gaming that mid-range clarity that I mentioned is sacrificed over that great bass, and again there’s no previous track on the controls.
I think that wireless charging is just one of those luxuries I’d like to see on every pair of buds from this point forward in 2021
FAQ’s Are SoundPEATS any Good?

Earfun Free Pro Review : FIIL T1 Pro Competitor?
Hey Lovely Peoples, Active Noise Canceling earbuds are really easy to come by these days. Soundpeats T2 Review : ANC from Soundpeats Worth it? | EH NoCord
Actually we are getting a lot of healthy competition in the budget ANC earbuds space. We’re here to see Earfun’s latest Active Noise Canceling earbuds are worth your money. Let’s get on with the review of the Earfun Free Pro
Check my Final Conclusion of the Earfun Free Pro at ehnocord.com
Before getting in to the review, Earfun Free Pro will retail for about $60 and which makes it one of the more affordable options for ANC Earbuds and is pretty much priced similarly to the Fiil T1 Pro
Earfun Free Pro : Design and Build
First time I checked these earbuds I felt these looks similar to Fiil T1 pro. I don’t know whether both of these brands owned by the same people. If you know anything about this please enlighten me.
Taking the earbuds out of the box, the case and the earbuds are pretty light it does come with a pretty nice dense feeling.
Which is very nice indication of a well-made earbud so the case itself is made out of a very lightweight plastic in this very nice gun metal gray color which is a excellent thing because these type of cases don’t scratch easily.
At the top of the case you get a nice gloss black plastic and nice Earfun branding at the top at the front of the case.
You’ll get a very nice led indicator which tells you the battery percentage of the case. They have a nice color indication for Battery level percentage.
Green Color — More than 30% of Battery
Orange Color — Less than 30% of Battery
Red Color — Less than 10% of Battery
Flashing LED — Less than 5% Battery
Flipping the case to the back you get a very nice USB Type-C charging port at the bottom of the case you get a very nice flat surface.
And this case also supports wireless charging so pop it onto any Qi wireless charger and you’re good to go.
So the lid itself has a very smooth flipping action but doesn’t have the hinge that holds it in place so if you flick the case the magnets will satisfyingly snap the case close.
Pulling the earbuds out again you get the same design as the Fill T1 Pro and the earbuds are your standard in-ear earbuds and the front you get a glossy black finish and the touch sensor.
With the Earfun branding the earbuds also come with a selection of fins and ear tips so you’ll definitely be able to find the right fit and especially for ANC earbuds the fit is absolutely crucial.
At the top of the earbuds you’ll get a nice LED indicator which are really bright but the good thing is that once it connects to your phone the LED turns off so it doesn’t annoy anyone in a dark room.
Design and Build
4.8/5
Earfun Free Pro : Battery
Without ANC Earfun claims an impressive seven hours of continuous playback time and together with the case gives you about three and a half extra charge cycles which gives you a total of 32 hours of total playback time
With ANC on the number drops to about 6 hours of continuous playback time and 27 hours in total with the case so keep in mind this battery is calculated very conservatively.
If you listen at louder volumes you definitely get lesser hours.
Battery
4.5/5
Earfun Free Pro : Features
Earfun Free Pro comes with a latest Bluetooth 5.2 chipset which for my testing is super high performance and it supports both the AAC as well as the SBC audio codec
The Earfun also comes with an IPX5 water resistant rating and should give you sufficient protection from your workouts or if you get caught under the rain.
For an ANC earbuds these are actually quite good IP ratings the Earfun Free Pro also supports a super seamless mono and stereo switching mode.
It’s on par with some of the flagship earbuds we’ve tested so far and it’s so seamless that by the time you take the other side and put it into your ears it’s already synced up and ready to go.
From my test, the earbuds doesn’t support multi-point connectivity so you can still connect them to multiple different devices but not at the same time
Features
4.4/5
Earfun Free Pro : Mic and call Quality
The call quality of the Free Pro is also very impressive and earbud did a fantastic job managing the call quality in both quiet and noisy environment your voice comes through very clearly using these earbuds for phone calls especially in quiet environments is superb
When you’re speaking through the phone itself and in noisy environments it cuts out ambient noise just sufficiently enough for your voice to come through clearly.
Call Quality
4.2/5
Latency
With the latest Bluetooth 5.2 and also low latency mode i honestly do not experience any lag when using it.
While watching videos on Youtube, Netflix and even playing games i don’t see much of a delay in most games that I play.
Overall it’s a very enjoyable experience using these earbuds.
Latency
4.8/5
Controls
The Earfun Free Pro lets you control most of the controls you come to expect when using a modern day earbuds which even includes volume control.
But in my opinion it lacks a very crucial control so to control the volume tap once on either side of the earbuds and it will increase the volume so just keep tapping it and it will increase your volume.
To play or pause media or pick a phone call step twice on either side of the earbuds and it will play or pause your media.
Please do keep in mind that you can only skip tracks forward. A bump on the control right?
Triple tap on the right side of the earbuds will skip your tracks forward.
The triple tap on the left earbud is now replaced with toggling between the ANC modes.
So to call on your assistant tap and hold on the right side earbuds for about two seconds enables pause your media and pull out your assistant.
Lastly tap and hold for about two seconds on the left earbud to toggle between low latency as well as normal mode.
so that is all the controls you get with the Earfun Free Pro.
Controls
3.8/5
Earfun Free Pro Sound Quality
The sound quality of the Earfun Free Pro is superb and it’s so amazing. The bass you get on the free pro is simply insane it’s so powerful and aggressive it just hits you in the face so hard and so strong
The bass is present in both low volumes is insane in high volumes the best part of this is that the mids and highs are not at all affected by the Bass
The sound stage of these earbuds is also fairly decent and this gives you very good separation overall
Watching movies also very enjoyable overall a fantastic sounding pair of earbuds.
Sound Quality
4.7/5
Earfun Free Pro Active Noise Canceling
The most important feature of these earbuds is the Active Noise Canceling performance
Personally from my ears and from choosing the right ear tips, i can say that these earbuds provide decent ANC performance and even claims it reduces about 28 dB and it’s pretty much quite accurate.
The earbuds do a pretty good job with cancelling out low humps and constant low frequency sound so when you commute on the train or the bus it does cut out quite a bit of the road noise.
But when it comes to high pitch noises and chatters it does okay but you can still hear some of those chatters leak through.
Ambient mode is also very neutral with very small amplification on your surroundings so it doesn’t feel unnatural using these earbuds.
Ultimately the Sony and Airpods Pro cuts out about 80% of noise and the Earfun Free Pro cuts off about 70% percent of ambient noise still pretty decent performance for its price point

JBL Reflect Mini NC TWS Review : Justify The Price?
We’re checking out the JBL Reflect Mini NC noise canceling earbuds, which feature the best bass heavy sound. That is sure to get you going, and you’re getting a really secure fit to match.
The companion app also allows some seriously impressive customization, specifically in the sound department, because the things you can do with this earbud is impressive but anyway, if you want to grab a pair from Amazon
Get the JBL Reflect Mini NC from Amazon Here
JBL Reflect Mini NC : Design and Build
Starting with physical features and design, and these buds are incredibly sturdy. You can definitely tell they’re designed with exercising in mind.
You just got basic smooth, hard plastics all around with a bit of a ribbed feel on the inside of the buds. And that JBL logo is also Reflective for a bit of nighttime visibility enhancement.
The indicator lights are also on the inside of the earbuds, so no unnecessary flashing. The buds are a little bit on the chunky side, but with that wingtip there, they’re incredibly secure, so you’re getting three sizes of wingtips and ear tips.
The mediums for both earbuds and wingtips work best for me, and this specific styling tip I find stays in my ear incredibly well.
So, no matter what you’re doing, weight, training, running, CrossFit, you’re going to be okay. There’s no way they’re going to fall out or even budge out of your ear. The ergonomics aren’t the best though I do get a bit of discomfort. This could be different for everyone, and this was also after trying all the extra ear tips and wingtips.
Even though the case is a bit chunky, it still feels really sturdy. Like the earbuds, it’s made of the same material with a bit of a grip to it, and the hinge here is also nice and sturdy for all.
If you like to use your buds when training, you get an ipx7 waterproof rating, so fine for sweat, splashes of water use in the rain, and you can also submerge the buds in water.
Design and Build
4/5
JBL Reflect Mini NC : Features
You’re getting Bluetooth 5.1 here, along with SBC and AAC codec, unsure if there’s Apt-X, you’re not getting multi-pairing. Still, you can use the left or right earbud individually, and this works in mono mode.
So you can hear both audio channels in one earbud.
Connection
Now, when you open the lid of the case, the earbuds will start to connect to your phone and do so really quickly in about four seconds and taking the earbuds in and out of the case is nice and seamless, and the magnets here are also nice and Strong
Features
4/5
JBL Reflect Mini NC : Controls
On to touch controls, and you can sort of control everything here, but you do need to make some sacrifices in the app.
So if you want to control volume, you have to sacrifice the ambient control. When you’ve got pairs like the Sennheiser momentum twos, Soundpeats t2, where you can control noise, canceling, and volume all at the same time. They could have done it better.
Apart from that sensitivity, here is decent. It’s not the best, but you are also getting some auto pause and play action when you take the earbuds out of your ear, which works seamlessly, and you can turn this on and off in the app as well
Which is really nice in case you don’t want to have it there.
And also, when you take one earbud out, the transparency mode will kick in your opposite earbud, so you don’t have noise canceling in one earbud, and it sounds kind of weird. You get subtle, beat feedback in the earbuds when adjusting all controls.
Controls
4/5
JBL Reflect Mini NC : App
Now I quickly touched upon the features that the app has to offer so on the main screen.
You have the battery life of the earbuds and the case, which is pretty handy to have. You have some ambient control, noise canceling options, and smart audio moves tab there, so you have a normal mode to provide the Best connection and audio mode for the best sound quality.
I found it didn’t make a huge difference, but it just tweaked everything up just a tiny bit, and you also have a video mode that works as a low latency mode.
But I found with the other modes in terms of latency on YouTube and Netflix tested on an iPhone 11, there were no issues with latency.
So the only reason you’d want to use that video mode is for gaming.
It actually does help quite a bit, and specifically, if you like, to play the first person, shooters you’ve also got an eq down there, which is really impressive
you’ve also got an auto power on and off feature, which is nice to have an auto pause and play voice assistant settings anc tuning,
So overall, really nice app. I like the UI, and it’s nice and snappy as well
Controls
4/5
JBL Reflect Mini NC : Sound
Let’s talk about the sound now, but starting with volume here, because at 100% volume, these bad boys crank, you really don’t need any more volume there.
If you’re looking for low level listening, you’re not really getting it here, but if you like to listen to podcasts or music at low volumes, there’s barely any white noise, which is nice all right onto the sound when it Comes to a sound signature this made for training
I feel like JBL has absolutely nailed it because you’re getting bass that hits incredibly deep, uh it’s, but it still has some incredible punch to it
This is the best bass response out of any earbud that I’ve tested and since the treble and mids are also just pushed forward really well, I feel like that adds to that punchy bass as well as instrumentation and vocals being right at the forefront of the Mix
you’re just getting incredible Clarity, no matter what genre you’re listening to now, you’re not getting the crispest or sparkly treble that you might see on like the Sony or the Sennheiser momentum twos, but you’re getting just enough to provide really lovely Clarity
this also doesn’t get too harsh at those high volumes and this mid-range and treble allows for some seriously impressive instrument separation in a sound stage that, considering the amount of bass you’re getting
These buds actually sound pretty similar to the Soundpeats H1, which is loud bass, heavy, but still retaining Clarity, earbud.
But on the H1 you kind of get a little bit crisper treble, but it’s the mid-range and the JBL that are pushed more forward and that bass is a lot punchier.
These still aren’t the bassiest bud, but you have pretty much unlimited customization when you jump into that eq.
I found the presets didn’t work for me. They didn’t really do anything just make your own presets and when you can pump that bass up a little bit, these sound.
JBL has nicely done and if you want to have a cleaner sound, just bring the bass down chuck the mids up in the treble, if you like, or if you don’t want that treble to be too harsh at those high volumes, bring It down a little bit.
And it all works really well. Just because that bass response gives you that nice heavy feel.
But it gives you so much punch that I’ve never really heard of in any other TWS. And it does so while still retaining some incredible clarity with all the instrumentation and the vocals as well.
You get an incredible instrument, separation, a nice amount of bass. All the horns and keys come through really well with that excellent treble response. That low end works really well, alongside the Clarity providing an excellent full sound.
These are the best to use with the hard stuff that nice direct, sound along with that great low end.
I was honestly not expecting the amount of Clarity you can get with the amount of low energy.
Sound

JBL Reflect Mini NC : Noise Cancelling
noise Canceling now for the price you’re paying here. I was honestly expecting some better noise-canceling performance. Sometimes,
when I turn on the noise canceling and not even really notice a huge difference, this is mainly because the passive noise isolation on these buds is better than normal. After all, the earbuds are pretty chunky, and the ear tips a little bit wider than normal.
This provides really good passive noise isolation, So kind of combine this with the noise canceling, and you’re getting pretty decent noise canceling.
And when you can get pairs like the effort free pro or the soundpeats t2 at half the price with superior noise canceling I feel JBL needs to step up the game a bit.
A couple of pros, though there’s barely any cabin pressure, as well as that hissing sound. That is evident with noise, canceling, which is nice and, of course, with noise canceling comes your ambient mode, which isn’t the best here.
You can hear your voice quite well, but i feel like it just could have been a bit more amplified, but if you’re just like outdoor running and watching for traffic and that kind of stuff, you should be fine, all right.
So I forgot to talk about ANC tuning, but I found this didn’t change anything with the noise canceling really when playing around with it.
ANC

JBL Reflect Mini NC : Battery
Now in terms of battery life, You’re getting 7 hours from the earbuds and an additional two charges from the case, which brings the total up to 21 hours.
Even with the advertised battery life considering the size of the case, i was honestly expecting a little more. You are getting a fast charge, which 10 minutes of charge will give you an hour’s playback on the earbuds, there’s no wireless charging, but they do charge via USB type-c with the cable included.
On the front of the case, You have an led bar which looks pretty cool. It’s a little bit unique there.
It will let you know if you need to charge up your case and that’ll also stay lit up when your earbuds are charging in the case as well.
Battery
4.2/5
JBL Reflect Mini NC : Call Quality
All right, on to the microphone test, not excellent, but should honestly do the job for most phone calls
The microphones here are picking up my voice quite well.
Call Quality
4/5
Conclusion
The only main cons are the noise canceling not being the best and the fit not being incredibly comfortable.
That’s at least for my right ear that could be different for you.
Apart from that, these buds are absolutely killer, especially if you’re looking for training, bud, and they’re definitely worth checking.

JBL Tune 225 TWS Review : Worth It?
Hey Lovely Peoples, We’re going to check the latest iteration of the JBL Tune 225 TWS and to see if it’s any good,
Let’s get in with a review of the JBL Tune 225 TWS ghosts. It’s not the cheapest AirPods alternative in the market, and for many people, these are pretty expensive earbuds.
Get Yourself a JBL Tune 225 TWS Earbuds at Amazon Here JBL Tune 225 TWS Discussed Topics JBL Tune 225 TWS : Design and Build The JBL tune 225 TWS ghost is the same as the JBL Tune 225 TWS, but it’s designed as a transparent case with a slightly smoky color.
The 225 ghost comes with a ghost orange color and a ghost black color. If you’re a fan of JBL’s orange color, you definitely can consider getting that.
On the front of the case, you will see a JBL logo in a silver color font. It super fits the case’s color, so it remains stealthy and cool looking. The entire case is actually transparent.
So if you shine a light all around it and you can see all the components inside very reminiscent of the game boy clear of the 90s, so a benefit of having a case like that,
although it’s made of clear plastic, the smoked black color hides scratch Super well, so these will stay fresh longer, and below that, you will also be getting a Type-C charging port, and 225 TWS doesn’t come with wireless charging
The hinge of the lid is quite nicely engineered, giving you that jbl quality. All around, you get a very nice hinge that holds the lid up for you to access the earbuds, and you can see how the hinge works through the transparent case, which is pretty cool, and inside Of the case,
you see the earbuds sitting vertically, similar to how AirPods do. You get three stealthy indicators that tell you the battery percentage of the case in the middle of it.
The earbud is made of a combination of materials. You get the same ghost black, transparent plastic at the front of the stem, and the tip of it inside you get a matte black, slightly grippy rubber compound.
That gives you a perfect grip when it sits inside your ear, unlike the glossy AirPods that will slide around when it gets oily.
So the earbuds’ led indicator is also very subtle and is hidden inside this ventilator grill of each of the earbuds. So if you can see the tip of the AirPods is angled a little bit, it does try to aim into your ear canals a little, and apart from that, there are no other technologies on this earbud, like in-ear sensors
Design and Build 4/5 JBL Tune 225 TWS : Features You’ll be getting a Bluetooth 5.0 chipset that supports only the AAC and SBC audio codec, which is pretty good for most use cases, especially when these are targeted as AirPods alternatives.
The earbuds also don’t come with any IP rating, and this is quite a bummer because Harman says that the original 220 is not made for workouts.
So try not to get them wet if you can, and for $60 earbuds in 2021 and no IP rating, that’s quite hard to swallow.
The earbuds, however, comes with a super seamless, mono and stereo mode so that you can put either side of the earbuds back into the case any time. The other side will still be connected to your phone.
Lastly, there is no multi-point connectivity on these earbuds, so you can still connect them to multiple devices, just not at the same time,
Features 4/5 JBL Tune 225 TWS : Battery From a battery life perspective. The 225 ghost gives you about 5 hours of battery life. The case provides you about 25 hours in total, especially when Bluetooth efficiency has dramatically improved battery life, but 5 hours is not too impressive in 2021.
The JBL Tune 225 TWS, however, gives you quick charging. So 15 minutes of charging gives you about 1 hour of usage, and charging the case and the earbuds up from empty will take about 2 hours.
For modern earbuds, I think the jbl 225 goes pretty mediocre for modern earbuds, especially considering the price you’re paying for it.
Battery 4.5/5 Sound Quality From a sound quality perspective. The ghost is a pretty good-sounding AirPods alternative.
Like most jbl earbuds, these earbuds come with JBL’s pure bass, sound technology, which is pretty good for an AirPods alternative, but keep in mind that this is still an AirPods alternative, so do expect some leaks and reduced bass.
Sound signature, bass wise these are capable of producing some powerful bass, and if you press them into your ears, they sound super strong.
But once you let your hands go, the bass performance gets reduced by about 70%, and it’s toned down quite a bit because of that ear tip style.
Clarity, wise, these are pretty good, giving you crisp mid highs and vocals in your music, so listening to it to any music with bright instruments
Sounds exceptionally nice on these earbuds. The soundstage is also really good, considering the earbuds’ design these gives you a pretty dynamic sound signature coupled with that 12-millimeter dynamic driver. These earbuds do give you a somewhat open, sound signature.
All in all, where jbl products usually shine is in the audio performance. Suppose you set your expectation rights with these earbuds and the AirPods alternative genre. In that case, these are some of the better sounding options.
Sound 4.5/5 JBL Tune 225 TWS : Latency Latency is not especially impressive on these. Although these come with Bluetooth, 5.0 chipset games still see quite a noticeable delay, very similar to the type of lag you get with early Bluetooth 5.0 chipsets.
Watching movies with Any Bluetooth 5.0 earbuds is usually very good and generally doesn’t get any lag at all.
However, if you’re looking to play games with these, definitely not the best options out there
Latency 4/5 Soundpeats T2 ANC True Wireless Earbuds Review JBL Tune 225 TWS : Controls The 225 ghost comes with a button control as opposed to most earbuds that come with touch controls. Nowadays, I prefer button controls. The 225 goes pleasantly easy to operate without having you or hurting your ears to play.
Your pulse media press once on the right, earbuds and you’ll play or pause your media and to pick up phone calls press once on either side of the earbuds, and it will pick up your phone calls to skip tracks forward press once on the left earbuds
And You’ll skip your tracks forward, and to skip backward, press twice on the left, earbuds. It will skip your tracks backward, call your assistant, press twice on the right earbuds, and it will pause your media and pull out your assistant.
So this way, you can get your assistant to control the volume of your media as well. So that’s all the controls you get with the jbl 225 ghost, so overall.
Controls 4/5 JBL Tune 225 TWS : Call Quality The call quality of this JBL 225 goes pretty good. It simulates The performance you get with a premium pair of true wireless earbuds. The call sounds crisp and clear in quiet environments. Although background noise still comes through quite a bit in noisier environments, overall call quality is still pretty solid.
TWS ghost is a good earbud for making phone calls.
Call Quality 4.5/5 Conclusion I don’t think that this is the best AirPods alternative, but it’s not the worst as well.
I still think that the taotronics sound liberty 80 is a better option. However, if you like the jbl brand, the design of this limited edition case – and you totally understand the sound signature of JBL‘s AirPods alternative – then definitely go for it.

Mpow X6 : Best ANC Under $80?
Hey Lovely Peoples,We’re going to check out the Mpow X6 Mpow’s latest version of True wireless earbuds. These will have ANC and transparency mode. Nowadays, many earbuds are coming out with ANC and transparency mode.
Let’s jump into the Mpow X6 True Wireless Earbuds Review..
Get your Mpow X6 at Amazon here
Mpow X6 : Design and Build
The package tells you a little bit about the hybrid ANC and where the sensors are as well as the sensor for the in-ear detection.
And on the back, a little bit more about the specs on here Bluetooth 5.1 charging time about two hours to fully charge these up we’ll get into the rest of the specs below.
Let’s see what else came in the packaging: usual paperwork and the quick operation guide.
Mpow X6 comes with USB Type-C to charge and comes with small, medium, and large silicone tips.
I did replace the mediums that do come on standard with the large to get that good seal. I would advise you guys to do the same to get that good seal. Good Seal does make a difference with ANC with transparency mode.
Let’s take a look these do come in two colorways. The branding on the top does have some led lights here on the front and then branding on the inside.
And you can see the sensors here for your hybrid active noise cancellation, and we’ll talk about all that below.
Battery life on here guys is about five hours and about 25 hours total with the case
And we’re at a point now where battery life is kind of standard with earbuds that have active noise cancellation.

Mpow X6 : Features
Specs on these earbuds Bluetooth 5.1, ANC, Transparency Mode, and these do have wireless charging to go along with the five hours and the 25 hours total with the case.
It takes around two hours to fully charge these earbuds. These do support touch controls that do include everything, including your volume.
Mpow X6 has a mono mode where you can use one at a time, throw one in the case and you can get a little better battery life and conserve your battery life on your earbuds.
These also support a low latency mode for gaming so your latency should be pretty good on here.
And these do have AAC and SBC for playback so excellent specs on these earbuds especially at this price.
Features

Mpow X6 : Controls
The touch controls do control everything on these earbuds, which you know I am a huge fan of
If we just single tap on the right earbud you can see the volume is gonna start to go up and if we double tap it will play and pause and then we hit it again and it will play and if we triple tap it’s going to go to the next track touch controls on here are very smooth they do work very well
And if we touch and hold on the right earbud it’s going to beep your voice assistant will appear and that’s google assistant Siri whatever phone you are using that voice assistant will come on.
The left earbud we do have a little bit of a different control on the left earbud so if we single tap you can see the volume is going to go down. If we double tap play and pause hit it again music will start playing.
Triple tap we’ll go back to the next track and if we touch and hold on here for a couple of seconds, that will scroll through anc mode transparency mode or turn it off so very cool there.
And the last thing on these earbuds if you hit the left earbud four times it will make this little sound in your ear a little beep and that is how you go in and out of low latency mode or gaming mode.
It doesn’t tell you what mode you’re in though, I wish there was kind of a voice prompt to let you know what mode you were in because you just kind of have to guess.
If you’re playing a game you’re going to know but if you just have to guess you know to scroll through you’re not sure which one it’s on sometimes.
Overall, as far as touch controls go, these things do control everything, and I’m a huge fan of that so very cool stuff with touch controls.

Mpow X6 : Sound
Let’s talk about the sound quality and the volume first we’ll start with the volume I do wish there was slightly more volume on these earbuds
You guys know I like a lot of volume. I like to be able to dial it back and then find that sweet spot with these. I find myself almost maxing out when it comes to how much volume I have on here.
Now the sound quality on here is good I like how these sound these things if you get that good seal on here
You’re going to hear some really good bass and I like the bass on here. It’s punchy, and it’s not that real sharp bass.
It lets me get into the zone and at the same time it doesn’t take away from the highs and the mids overall I do like the sound quality of these
It’s very clear sounds really good and if you like bass you’re gonna like how these sound
Now saying that once you turn ANC on it does change how these sound a little bit so I do prefer these with ANC off.
Like a lot of buds and it’s disappointing when this happens with earbuds but like a lot of buds whenever you turn ANC on and sometimes even transparency mode
It does change how these earbuds sound and that’s the case there now; it’s not terrible i can still listen to it.
But I would listen to these with ANC turned off.
Overall, I really enjoy how these sounds came right out of the box and, most of the time anyway.

Active Noise Cancelling
Mpow X6 does have hybrid active noise cancellation. If you’re unsure what ANC is or what hybrid active noise cancellation is, the outward facing microphones can detect the external noise and then the inward facing microphones monitor the noise inside your ear canal.
The wireless earbuds go ahead and counter that with equal anti-noise at the same time, that will eliminate the inside and the outside noise and this technology say it can achieve 28db of noise cancellation.
Which is okay right it’s not the best. It’s not going to compete with any of the higher end earbuds but it does an excellent job for the price.
Real life experience
I tested it and with the heater, to say it is a very loud heater you know just if I throw these in my ear with the noise isolation with ANC turned off it does drown out a fair amount of the heater noise
When I turn ANC on, I would say it goes and takes about 90 percent of that noise out maybe 95 of the rest of the low rumbles but I can still hear a little bit of the heater going even with ANC turn on.
It is a very minimal right tiny bit of noise coming through still, but you can tell it’s there so it
doesn’t drown out everything but it does a good job, especially at this price
And transparency mode on here is a different transparency mode it’s not as digitally sounding like a lot of the other earbuds out there at this price poin.
It does a very good job of letting in some of that outside noise. Now the one thing with transparency mode on these earbuds there is a bit of a hiss in my earbuds
When I do have transparency mode on so just keep that in mind. if you wanted to use one earbud at a time again you could throw one earbud in have the other one playing music or watching content
Just to know if you do that if you use one earbud at a time you’re only going to have available what earbuds or what touch controls those earbuds the left or the right do have.
ANC
3.5/5
Soundpeats T2 ANC True Wireless Earbuds Review
Fiil T1 Pro : Call Quality
they do sound good in a quiet room as well as a crowded and noisy environment now
Call Quality
4/5
Mpow X6 : Latency
Now, as far as the latency goes on these earbuds again they’re true wireless earbuds guys so even with the gaming mode.
If you are playing those heavy you know intensive games like call of duty, you will have some delay no matter what at this point and that’s another improvement.
I’d like to see in earbuds moving forward and these are no different playing call of duty or something like that. You can’t notice a slight delay even in gaming mode but it’s not bad at all.
It’s not going to stop you from playing anything and watching content on youtube, Netflix amazon prime or whatever it is you’re not going to experience any delay.
Latency
4.5/5
Conclusion
I’ll just have these in my ears and I’ll have anc turned on but no music just silence so not bad as far as sound quality goes.
I like the bass on here; they sound good. You know I’m a bass lover so these are going to suit me well as far as the bass goes on these earbuds.
With these earbuds you know a couple of the gripes that I have with these earbuds.
Overall I do really like these; a couple things that I would like to see improved upon is battery life.
You know battery life, the five hours of battery life on here that’s with ANC turned off, so with ANC turned on, it will be a little worse around four hours of battery life with ANC turned on.
I would like to see a little more volume on these earbuds but other than those two things you know the sound quality is good. In my opinion you know the fact that it changes between how it sounds with anc on and off
It’s not really a deal breaker for me I’m gonna listen to music with these with ANC turned off as it is
Overall I like the colors. I like the build quality I like the look of these and the matte finish on here with the accent colors
Wireless charging anc transparency mode is really good on these earbuds.

Taotronics Soundliberty 94 : ANC Under $50!
Hey Lovely Peoples, we’re checking out the Taotronics Soundliberty 94.
Before we really get into this review, I want to point out the big issue with the Taotronics brand. They name their products in a less desirable way to the consumers.
They can easily not recognize the model they want or are confused with the other models. These numberings have no consistency in them and not desirable or brandable in my point of view.
Drop your comment on this
Checking out the Taotronics Soundliberty 94s and the reason I wanted to check these out specifically is that they have hybrid active noise canceling. Their retail price is around $60.
And, right now on Amazon, with their coupons and a discount, you can pick it up for only $47 almost 20% discount from the retail price , so for under 50 bucks, you’re able to get hybrid active noise canceling
Buy Taotronics Soundliberty 94 at discounted price here.
And you’re also able to get an ambient mode, which is vital to a lot of people, so I figured we’d check out some of the other features and what you get inside the box and see if it’s actually worth the $50 price tag

Conclusion
Taotronics Soundliberty 94 : Design and Build
As far as what you’re getting inside the box, you are getting the usual small, medium, and large silicone ear tips. The charging cable they’ve included a USB Type C cable.
Checking out the earbuds’ case, I noticed that the case resembles the case of the galaxy buds plus quite a bit. It is a little bit larger than that case.
But this is still a small compact case. It’s easy to throw in your pocket on the back. You can see the USB Type C input for charging, and then around on the front, and you have four indicator lights that way, you can kind of gauge how much battery life is left on the case.
Now moving over to check out the earbuds, I want to say that this is one of the most comfortable pair of earbuds that I’ve used because of how they groove the interior design. It just kind of fits my ear canal perfectly.
It didn’t move around, and I found that this was a pair that I could use most of the day and not have any discomfort.
Design and Build

Features
So I want to start with the fact that these are using a 9.2 millimeter dynamic driver. The dynamic driver in these is definitely pushing a lot of low ends.
As far as the technology goes, it is using Bluetooth 5.1. They have AAC and SBC playback, and I didn’t have any issues regarding dropouts or connection issues. Still, I did have some pairing issues initially.
It just didn’t show up on my list of devices to connect. I pulled them out of the case. I had to turn them off, turning them back on. I had to do this several times, and eventually, it did show up, and once I connected, I didn’t have any issues. It is just kind of auto-connected from there.
But I did want to point out that it didn’t just work right out of the box the way it should have. As far as the IP rating on these, they do come in rated at IPX5, so this will not be a pair that you can submerge into the water. Still, it will be a pair that you can use while you’re running or going to the gym; you don’t have to worry about sweating.
Or if it starts to rain, it is nice to know that you can use them that way.
Whoever likes to use your earbuds individually, you’ll be happy to know that you can use either the left or the right.
Features

Taotronics Soundliberty 94 : Controls
Now, as far as the controls on here, I’m happy to say that you have control over everything.
So on top of having the usual play pause skipping your tracks forward, going backward, turning your volume up, turning your volume down.
You can also turn the noise canceling on or off and then on the other ear. You can turn your ambient mode on, and the ambient mode in here is actually pretty decent.
You can tell that the microphones are pulling everything in very nicely. Still, it adds a lot of noise when you’re using this mode, so the microphones seem sensitive.
So it’s just picking up the air, and it just has this like constant hiss type sound, so although you can hear your surroundings clearly, it is kind of annoying that you do have that sound while using these
Controls
4.5/5
Sound
So now let’s check about the sound. We’re going to talk about the sound of these with using the ANC turned off because, as we said earlier, with the ANC turned on, it dulled down the bass. It just flattened out the sound in a way that seemed like it just let the life out of the audio.
But with the noise canceling turned off, the bass is booming. You can tell it’s even kind of like digitally enhanced in a way. It kind of sounds artificial at some times.
Many people are going to like this, mostly if you listen to a lot of mainstream music.
But when you get into genres like rock and metal, that bass, for some reason, just kind of rolls over the mids and the highs
It starts to sound muddy; it pulls vocals down a little bit, and then it just pulls the sparkle that the treble has on these because I noticed with pop and hip hop and even like easy listening style genres the treble was nice and clean it just kind of had this nice sparkle to it
The mids on these sounded good. I had no issues with male or female vocalists again. It just kind of depended on what genre I was listening to because listening to pop and listening to metal had two completely different sound signatures.
Now, as far as the sound stage and the sound imaging, it’s not a very open sounding earbud because of that boomy bass.
It makes me feel like I’m more in a medium-sized room, but luckily I didn’t have any issues telling where sounds were coming from.
The only problem was they didn’t sound very spacious didn’t sound very open, so you just kind of felt like you were closed in a little bit more. Again, this will be fun, with specific genres going to ruin some of the others.
Sound

Active Noise Cancelling
And I want to go ahead and say that if you are buying these specifically for the noise canceling.
There is not much of a difference between the noise canceling being on and being off. You can tell that it starts to try to cut out on a little bit of the low end noises.
So if you have air conditioner units or flying on a plane, it’s going to try to block out those low rumble type noises. Still, everything else comes through just as clear as if you’re using these with the noise canceling off.
So I would just recommend using these with the noise canceling off unless you’re traveling or in situations where you’re trying to block out those engine noises.
ANC

Taotronics Soundliberty 94 : Battery
The battery life on these are okay. If you’re going to use these with the noise canceling turned on, you’re going to get around five hours on the earbuds with around 20 hours using the case
But suppose you decide to use these with the noise canceling off. In that case, you’re going to get a little more battery life because you’re going to get eight hours on the earbuds and around 32 hours total using the case.
Battery
3.8/5
Taotronics Soundliberty 94 : Call Quality
The microphones on here, I think this is an area where they did a decent job. I think if you’re looking for an inexpensive pair to be able to take phone calls while you’re at work or while you’re out and about, I don’t think a lot of people will have any complaints
I think overall, it does a pretty decent job. I feel like it picks up my voice cleanly.
Call Quality
4.5/5
Conclusion
My overall conclusion is you have to go back and look at the price you’re getting active noise canceling that can block out lower rumble type noises. You are getting a pretty dynamic sound depending on what genre you’re listening to.
You’re getting decent battery life. Being able to pick these up for $50 is a nice plus, but I do have some cons that I wish Taotronics will listen to.
I was almost immediately turned off when I was having the pairing issues. At first, I wish that the case had either fast charge or Qi wireless charging, and then my big complaint about these is the ANC is just not that adequate. It’s just not blocking out as much of my surroundings.
I’d like especially when there are other ones in this price range, like I said, like Soundpeats T2 that we just reviewed recently.
In my opinion, those are better options, and they are around the same price.
