I’m so aware that there’s such a small chance of anyone who knows Mianite seeing this but I’m actually kinda obsessed with the idea of a Steddie Mianite AU.

(For anyone who doesn’t know Mianite, it was a minecraft series started back in 2014)

Eddie made the decision at some point in time, for some reason, to follow Dianite, the god of chaos and destruction. Maybe there was an exchange done but Eddie’s somehow now deeply indepted to Dianite and has to do his bidding as his follower.

The others, Nancy and Robin, are incredibly weary of Eddie for that exact reason. They themselves have devoted themselves to the god of creation and order, Mianite. Due to their opposing chosen gods, the three get along but can never break that invisible barrier of weariness.

One day, Eddie finds Steve washed up on the beach. Not able to pick him up, Eddie’s not exactly weak but godamn is Steve heavy, Eddie drags him up the beach into the shade of a tree. He takes care of Steve the best he can, welcoming him to the island as soon as he wakes. Nancy and Robin find out and come pull Steve away, warning him on how dangerous Eddie can be.

Cue some slight enemies to lovers and Steve having to make the decision on what god he wants to follow.
