It has been a while since I picked myself up from this mundane routine that has been going on for almost two years. Aimlessly driving around, scared to make decisions as I lick and nurse my emotional wound. Scared to trust again. Always keeping a safe distance from anything and anyone that would remind me of my past, putting aside what I do best. Keeping it safe, keeping my family safe. Putting food on the table for them in anyway I can. I may have lost the last 4 or 5 years of life but I still have my family... and for them, I'm gonna pick it up from here on. My room is a reflection of myself and the work I do. It's time I pick up my camera again. It's time I write another song. It's time for me to start kicking myself in the butt, floor the pedal and get it going. I'm not gonna shout out loud 'I'm Back Bitches'...
