My fashion icon 💕. Please enjoy some inspo pulled from my SOTF Pinterest to think about while I infodump my son's travel wardrobe. Hardly anything on it is 100% exact, because taking creative liberties is my prerogative, but the major idea is definitely conveyed.

Travel Yorick is most practical Yorick. Whether by horse, wheelhouse, boat, or dragon, whatever he's wearing while traveling is basically just a more toned down version of his normal wardrobe made to be warmer & a bit sturdier. Lots of leather & thick wool & fur linings, fewer capes & drapey elements & just random little add-on things like fancy collars or scarves, darker colors so that no one can see if dirt got on it (he imagines it has to be harder to get mud out of bright blue satin than dark brown or black leather). Still absolutely iconic, though.

Yorick’s all about a cool jacket with something kind of unexpected as visual interest (asymmetric hem, unique trim, something like that), or a jerkin with, like, interesting or dramatic shoulders (tis his dragon crest). He's also a fan of belts. They're practical. Strap a weapon to that bad boy, pouch with extra snacks or supplies, look cool as hell. Things of that nature. This also has the added (for me & his wife & whoever wants to objectify him) bonus of emphasizing his his silly little waist 👍🏻. Gloves are also a good, important thing. Especially for if said travel is dragony in nature.

In terms of, like, traveling gear, he's got that "old, wealthy house, kings on both sides" level gear. Absolute most bougie horse tack, fancy banners on everything...hilariously though he's got the shoddiest dragon saddle for the longest time. No one was prepared for Nasty Grandpa, they were lucky to get anything on him & it's literally only replaced when it has to be. His sister has a fancy, cool rope ladder to climb up onto Jumbo Peepaw's back, & Yorick is out here slumming it like Aemond, having to fucking rope climb. At least it keeps his upper body strength on point 😅
