society if snl was only an hour instead of 90 minutes >
#its so painful to see things that could be funny but just drag on forever or repeating skits. they just dont know how to let things die#like the first angelo one. it was funny enough and rami really worked well for it#but theyve done two more and havent really changed anything#its ESPECIALLY irritating bc like. if the main punchline is that smth is weird or annoying then you really gotta get in and out with that#joke so the AUDIENCE doesnt become annoyed. and by repeating the same skit over and over….. not doing you any favors#repeating characters CAN work but they just havent really found that with any of the new cast. also annoying bc i really like aristotle but#they barely ever use him and its JUST angelo now. grrrr#sorry not to like. care abt snl or anything. but its not totally hopeless their prerecorded stuff that has a strict time and script is#usually GOOD esp their songs AND bowen is such a force half the ones im like oh this was actually funny are from him#sorryyyyyy i just think theres merit left in the format and you arent really getting that format from anywhere other than like. tiktok ig
