the magical imaginary world in which misogynistic women who call themselves feminist daydream that cis women are incapable of sexual violence makes me fucking sick. we don't live in that world. i know first-hand that cis women can be and are rapists, and acting like a space comprised of only cisgender women should feel completely safe, that you should always trust your children around cisgender women who are complete strangers, is fucking dangerous.

this isn't a hypothetical. the false idea that cis women are naturally safe and so you should ignore behaviors from them that should be red flags directly led to adults leaving me in situations that i shouldn't have been in as a child, to them literally brushing me off when i tried to report sexual assault and laughing in my face because "oh, certainly that nice lady social worker wouldn't do anything like that. you must be misunderstanding. you must be misspeaking. what a coincidence. how funny."
