can i say something possibly controversial. white male leftists fantasize about revolution for the same reason white male conservatives fantasize about their homes being invaded. it's not likely to happen, but if it did they would suddenly be justified in committing a whole lot of violence

#sorry. lots of men adopt radical or leftist language to justify their power fantasies #and they use the need for a revolution to justify not doing anything for anyone. like ohh well youre being complicit in a system #that i choose not to engage with at all which makes me morally superior. NO you have the privilege of not needing to comply with the system #sorry but if you cant like volunteer at a soup kitchen or somwthing how do you expect to organize and lead a revolution #like. everyone knows the black panthers for their militancy/being armed but arguably some of their most important work #was feeding their communities! mutual aid etc
