exact attitude i was complaining about the other day, although we probably mean different social cues. if i am leaning so far away from you that i'm practically at a 90 degree angle, i HAVE told you i don't want to be hugged, i don't see why i need to verbalize it for it to be respected. why do i have to use words specifically if nonverbal cues are significantly more clear and are "less rude" by local standard.
