one of the bad things about your friend group being mostly RPers is that sometimes they get certain characters so blatantly wrong you can tell it's wrong even when it's a character you don't know or care that much about. it's not even a funny kind of mischaracterization like turning South Park and Family Guy characters into half-decent human beings, it's just irritating
