How I feel about this character: HIM!! He's Mess! He's Trauma! He's FASHION!! The narrative never gives him a Break (unless it's Breaking him)! Basically, everything I ever asked for!!!

Favorite tropes: I love any trope where Tamlin and Lucien are already best friends and stupidly in love but they don't even realize it. Which I guess is basically "idiots to lovers." Also love some good mutual pining, where they know they're in love but think there's NO WAY that the other one loves them back. And with that, any situation where they're thrown together and have to be extra close: fake relationship, Only One Bed, Working Together On A Big Project, etc.

Angst or fluff: HONESTLY the best Tamcien fics have both so that's my answer!! I'm okay with angst as long as it has a happy ending though!! I guess I prefer fluff, if I had to choose one!

NSFW or SFW: HONESTLY IF YOU ARE WILLING TO WRITE NSFW I'LL TAKE IT!!! I don't want you to write anything you aren't comfortable with but IF YOU ARE OFFERING THEN YES!!! I will say I am STAUNCHLY in the camp that Lucien is a twink bottom and Tamlin is a top. How explicit the smut is is totally up to you! I'll read anything lmao. BUT I do prefer that smut be an integral part of the story, rather than interrupting the story, if that makes sense. Like, the smut should develop their characters and relationship and not just be there for the sake of being there. I WOULD LIKE TO FEEL SOMETHING.

Slow burn or quick: I tell myself I like slow burn but honestly tbh I am VERY IMPATIENT so probably quick to the romance, haha. I also feel like a slow burn could be a huge commitment for you, so just know I will be ECSTATIC with a shorter and faster fic!

I'm wondering if everyone might eventually get a travel event? like they've now introduced with Vil's that it doesn't have to be specifically hometowns, so that opens things up a lot! (especially if they have to figure out how to do three separate Coral Sea visits) (how would that even work otherwise)

but yeah, I hope everyone gets a chance! there's a lot of backstory characters I would LOVE to meet. :D :D :D though I do think some of them don't really suit the more light-hearted tone of the events (pretty sure you're right about that being why Falena wasn't in Tamashina-Mina, that would've just been. too much for Leona.) so like...we're probably not ever going to meet the Rosehearts. or Maleficia (although I maintain that this would be THE funniest possible way to introduce her outside of the main story, and actually I would love this a lot, can we please Twst) (I need to see her to put Malleus in a froofy little outfit and tell him what a handsome boy he is). but they've sprung surprises like Kifaji on us, and honestly anyone who shows up and tells embarrassing stories about characters' childhoods is good in my book!

oughhh ok!! firstly, i think they just look really cool. i mean, look at them....

secondly (and for this i am referring solely to american bison, i don't know very much about the history of european bison) they are very historically and culturally significant. the native americans who lived on the great plains relied a lot on the bison for food, but also to make clothes, tipis, weapons, and bison were also a part of their religion. in the 19th century white settlers killed most of the plains bison. this was sponsored by the us government as a method of cultural genocide, by removing the lifeline of the native americans in the area and forcing them onto reservations

in the 20th and 21st centuries, bison have been reintroduced to national parks and indigenous land across america and their population has increased, although there will never be as many as there were before because there's just, you know, not enough room for them.

( @zero-saito​ ) William Miles is a great a asshole, and it could very easily have been that Desmond skill set didn’t match up with what he wanted. Plus all of the headcannon‘s that William pushed Desmond a lot harder than anybody else on the farm and still wasn’t satisfied with that. It takes a lot to make somebody want to run away from home , especially from a place that is run by a bunch of people who are supposed to be the best at stuff and assassination. So I very much agree with this. 

Honestly, Bill is such a dick. Like Desmond is literally working his ass off in the animus only to get punched in the face when he points out he's not being treated well. 

Tbh, considering how Desmond seems to just like learning new things and talking to people about them, I feel like info gathering and retention was probably a big thing for him. Just him enjoying new things and new experiences. But yeah, considering that Desmond managed to escape an isolated assassin base, and stay gone for nearly a decade, I just feel like how Desmond was treated by Bill and the other people in the compound must've been. Quite a fucking trip if he wanted to leave and drop his affiliation with the assassins--the only group of people he'd ever known or been around. 

And the reason I say the other people in the compound is bc, like. Bill was abusive and his mom is left to player interpretation but, no one else spoke up or said anything? I know Rebecca and Shaun don't in canon bc that's the mentor, but this had to have been a trend for Desmond to leave like they did. I mean! 

Desmond didn't even protest when Lucy asked him to join up with the Assassins again! He didn't hesitate despite having left and did everything in his power to make sure they couldn't bring him back! But still! He realized that the templars were real and he threw himself into the cause!! 

Sorry, I think about him and have feelings but like tldr; I whole heartedly agree, Desmond already proved himself to be a great assassin but Bill treats him like he didn’t have much worth in game and from what we can see, and I honestly wish the game didn’t reinforce it in the narrative.

they always make it seem like desmond wasted his life away after he left the farm to become a bartender, that he wasn't fit to be an assassin until he was training in the animus, and that he didn't have any ambition (as said by William in the AC3 remastered opening)

but like. none of that is true. at all

I mean I was just looking at the wiki to see Desmonds accomplishments and bio and apparently it was Daniel Cross that brought him into Abstergo. which. kinda puts Desmond skills in perspective

Daniel Cross was considered the most successful Templar member and, before Desmond, had a really great track record with his missions. Save for the ones that involved PoEs

they had to send him in to get Desmond

also Desmond managed to stay hidden from the assassins AND templars for 9 going on 10 years, since he was kidnapped on like August 30 brought in for the animus September 1, and the only reason he got taken in was due to them getting his fingerprints from the DMV

like. That sounds stupid but think about it. If he was going to the DMV he had to have an entire false identity in order to use a license, bc you need proof of birth, SSN, and multiple legal documents

he just. had that made on the run. Like that actually takes skill or connections or both to be able to effectively be in the system without being found with fake legal papers

And he DID have ambition: he wanted to live normally. Yeah its not some big dream or anything but he managed to stay hidden from two secret shadowy organizations that is all over the world in order to make it happen. that's determination and he only got caught due to his fingerprints being matched

and he easily fights off the abstergo agents in the opening of the first game. I'm not saying that Desmond was near as good as Ezio or Altaïr or Connor at this point, but he can clearly defend himself very well. at the end of AC2 he has no qualms with killing, he just does so with the hidden blade.

look, all I'm saying is, at the very least Desmond had to he quite skilled even before he started using the animus

Anyway, here is. a very messy breakdown and some tips!! That are hopefully helpful!!! It's mostly about faces but if you're interested I can also get into the nitty gritty of drwing skeletons but these are like. Sans and Papyrus specific parts (so mostly their skulls lol)

Skulls are both weirdly round, and weirdly angular (a sentiment that I read in a fic once and committed to heart apparently. Like... yeah. They ARE weirdly round and angled.) As always shape language is your friend (real bouba and kiki moments)

Sans has more of a... chibi face shape LMAO. If you've drawn those before it makes drawing him a lil easier imo. As for Papyrus...

He's a pain!! He's got lots of expressions and I usually have to redraw his face like sixteen times. His eyes are just like 2 fucking vertical lines and yet. AND YET. My beloved boy is so difficult. At least he has very expressive eyebrows. I also use the corners of his mouth to give him more range of expressiveness since he has no lips! Also the lines for his "individual" teeth... I can take it or leave it. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't!

I only give Papyrus lower eyelids because if you give him upper eyelids/lidded sockets he looks like Underswap Paps LMAO,,

Sans on the other hand has "lips" but doesn't use them hrkfhdk,, I always make sure to give him the little holes at the corners of his mouth as well.

Also that's all about their heads/faces so here's a note about how I do bodies which is. Shapes. These two are so Shaped.

Seriously though the best thing to do is just to try emulate other people's artstyles or pick out parts of them that you like and incorporate them into your works. Like how someone draws Sans' eyes? Try it and apply it!!

People also tend to draw the skeletons with slightly different facial proportions, so experiment with that and see what you like as well! I've gotten pretty good at eyeballing it and drawing them directly (with the exception of Papyrus around 40% of the time, wherein I have to redraw his face sixteen times before it looks good).

short additional info: The game lets you play as both genders but Edelgard is very very sapphic coded. Such as: would not carry male version of the protagonist, but would not let others carry the female version of the protagonist, and carried her herself despite having to be aware of her reputation carrying a commoner since Edelgard is a key figure in the world's politics and leaders, and she pines after the professor (around a 2 year age difference, among some time travel shenanigans that goes on in plot that makes age differences more or less moot) a fair bit. Not sure if you want more info, just be aware Edelgard's character has a lot of anti fans if you decide to head into other posts/discussions about her. (shocking that a sapphic woman character in power does, I know. /s) Like threaten the character's VA type bad.
