OKAY SOME RHIAN QUESTIONS FOR YOU BECAUSE I LOVE HER SO SO MUCH: big spoon or little spoon? what's her favourite kind of weather? if she were shopping in the Fancy part of novigrad with unlimited coin what expensive clothing item would she buy as a treat? what is she like when she cries? does she mind when other people see? big or little spoon: i think it depends on how she’s feeling, but generally she prefers to be the little spoon, prefers the feel of another person wrapped around her. she’s not against being the big spoon though, especially if her partner needs the comfort. 

favourite weather: she’s especially fond of the cool, windy days in autumn when the leaves are bright green and orange and brown, and the sky is a little overcast but not raining, and it’s cold enough that she can wear a nice cloak and bundle up a bit without being too cold.

what expensive clothing item would she buy as a treat with unlimited coin: if she truly had unlimited coin ……. hmm. i want to say a really fancy fur-lined cloak because she is weak for a nice cloak, but she might also go for a fancy pair of hand-crafted leather boots with pretty detailing and trim. she’d definitely eye the exquisite dresses but still wouldn’t spend the money on one because she’d never get the chance to wear one (and also isn’t sure she could properly pull one off, she’s still a bit self-conscious about her appearance in a realistic, bitter-edged way).

what is she like when she cries: really depends on why she’s crying, but generally when she’s crying she’s crying. it’s always a flood of tears, never just one or two, and she almost always will get a headache later because of it. she tries to hold herself back, to keep some emotional restraint, but she’s never been very good at it and cries pretty easily despite her calm exterior. if she’s deeply upset she’ll probably get a wave of nausea too, and probably start choking a little (on tears and bile both). it’s never very subtle. 

does she mind when other people see: …. she never used to, mostly because she never had a lot of reason to cry. in recent years she’s so weighed down with emotion though, and becomes a lot more Aware of it. she finds it less overwhelming if she’s alone, because when she’s around others she’s trying to stop the tears but that just makes it worse and … yeah. it’s not that she’s self conscious so much that she doesn’t want to burden other people with her problems / emotions. 

favourite thing about dietrich: hmmmmmmmmmmm. physically she finds him very attractive. she’s always liked the dark hair and rough edges and muscled physique and his eyes, god his eyes. she would happily let herself burn up in them. beyond that, there’s a certain … contradiction to him? he presents himself as abrasive, as standoffish, as apathetic, but if you spend time with him you start to see beneath it to a man who cares very deeply about the people close to him, a man who would happily drop to his knees if it meant the people he loves were safe and happy. i think she only really noticed it when she saw him with edith for the first few times, saw the way his mouth twitched at the corners and how gentle he was with her. he might hunt monsters, and he might have to do monstrous things to survive, but he’s not a monster, and she fell in love with him a little for that fact alone.
