hey ranch! do you have any recommendations for fish/marine biology related documentaries?

I greatly enjoyed The Blue Planet 2 (2017), and the Secrets of the Whales (2021)! It’s been a while since I watched The Blue Planet 2 — I don’t recall if I’ve seen the first one — but it was a beautiful documentary, very informative, I learned many of the things I know now from it. The Secrets of the Whales meanwhile focuses on some whales and their behaviour! Can recommend. A Finland-specific documentary that’s one of my favourites is Luontosinfonia (2019), Nature Symphony in English, it’s not specific to fish but it has many, many beautiful underwater scenes. All the footage of fish and other aquatic animals… *chef’s kiss*

I grabbed these screenshots of Luontosinfonia from Yle Areena, where you can watch the documentary for free. If you have access to the service (I don’t know if you do outside of Finland) it’s a must watch!! Other underwater documentaries I’ve seen I can’t unfortunately remember the names of, but here’s three!
