It's frustrating as fuck to see 'lesbians can fuck men' discourse cause like. Yeah we can. It's not fucking good for us tho. I've had sex with way too many men, because that's what manic hypersexuality will make you do, and then I see people being like 'it doesn't mean you're not a lesbian! Sometimes lesbians have sex with men and it's okay!' it's NOT. It took me fucking forever to understand that sex is supposed to be about attraction and actually wanting to do something instead of 'I could do this I guess'. It's rape apologism. It's fucking disgusting. 'Attraction≠action so lesbians can not be ATTRACTED to men but still FUCK them' I cannot begin to imagine the damage being told this would have caused me a few years ago. I'm sorry to all the lesbians who've had sex with men because it's dangerous and disgusting and harmful to us, and these assholes are here prentinding that being fucked by someone you have no attraction for is normal. Fucking hell.

it’s actually beyond damaging to lesbians as rhetoric for sure. it’s all about what we “can” do and less about how it’s literally not natural for us to do such a thing. there’s no “straight women can have sex with women!!” discourse because people know that if a straight woman has sex with a woman, it is literally abnormal behaviour on her part.

these people are so obsessed with normalising unhealthy & traumatic behaviours in lesbians. sex with men is unnatural to us, it’s unwanted, it’s traumatic, it is repulsive. it creates mental health issues for us, it creates trauma for us, it creates self-hatred in us. this isn’t something people should normalise and act like it’s no big deal or something. what’s worse is not only are they promoting this idea, but they even are trying to convince us that lesbians can want sex with men, enjoy sex with men, or will seek out sex with men “out of boredom” or out of horniness.. as if it makes sense for women exclusively attracted to women to be horny for men.

what is normal for lesbians is never having sex with men ever, because no lesbian wants a man in any kind of romantic or sexual capacity. the lesbians that have any kind of sexual history with men are often traumatised, mentally ill, were downright raped at worst and pressured into unwanted sexual acts at best. it’s simply not normal for us & i’m so tired of people acting like it is.
