it's a shame that the "it's bad on purpose" defense doesn't wash for v3's flanderization because the game doesn't have a single coherent theme at its core, just thrown around symbolic allusions that never congeal to form literally any point of substance

#actually a problem that all of the danganronpa games have but particularly egregious with v3 #the theme is literally always 'woagh..... hope vs despair/truth vs lies... that's crazy. that's like. philosophy and shit.'#and then it never says anythinggggg about it #the only game that treated it like something resembling a philosophical dilemma rather than fantasy MMORPG factions was the first one #and even then it was like. a twee 'hope will always win in the end!!!!' message #sorry p:eg brainworms just had me thinking about its predecessors #and like. i can't deny that this is somewhat of an improvement. especially with what they seem to have cooking when it comes to talent and #emotion and reason. and the biblical imagery #cough. anyway #grftponbm
