This is a little hard for me to answer just cause I'm really bad at keeping track of how long I spend on art. I have terrible time blindness once I start drawing, hours melt away without me noticing. I've been working on my current digital painting longer than I usually do, so maybe that one? It's some homestuck fanart lol I'll post it soon

Okay so I've seen some fanart from @kollieflower about their Dark Deception AU which featured between others a scrapped fourth member of the Joy Joy Gang, a cat named Roman ; and long story short I liked this concept so much that I ended up doing my own character based on that. Yes I'm being a goblin, and yes I cannot get my brain to shut up about the Joy Joy Gang. Sue me.

So anyways, meet

Tabby The Cat (long post ahead)

The scrapped fourth member of the Joy Joy Gang.

Scrapped because he was judged useless, too laid-back and slacking on the job. Also being too grouchy with Malak. And Lucky may or may not have pressured on his scrapping for barely ever following his leadership. Basically : insubordination.

Actually OP he just doesn't care because cats live by no master, rock'n'roll

Not deactivated (though fairly beaten up, which left his left eyeball cracked), but got ditched in the dark infinite void between the Demon Realms, where innocent mortals in a comma, monsters judged too weak, accidental minor demons and tormented victims of sinners either fight for scraps of dominance or wander in idleness.

He chooses this second option and keeps company to the victims of sinners, especially the children, as a reminder of a time where he could have been the kid's favorite mascot. He provides them context, guidance and safety and watches the Realms with them (picture when you noclip out of a game's background and can see the levels layout floating in a black void, basically it's that) to witness what happens to their tormentors, until they are satisfied and ready for 'ascension'. From here he also keeps a -narrow- eye on Mascot Mayhem, most often.

May or may not be looking over Tammy/the Orb for the sole purpose of screwing Malak over.

His personality is lazy and laid-back but he's also a big grouch. Quite cynical, considers cursing as regular vocabulary. A smartass, often too much for his own good. Easy cat jokes.

Actually no gender but he uses he/him pronouns because he's too lazy to put a fuss about it.

Gets infuriated if called a failure.

He possesses a endoskeleton built for bounce back and agility, razor sharp claws in both hands and feet that allows him to run/crawls on walls and scratch metal, and also a purring mechanism covering his head that automatically activates when he's petted here, whether he likes it or not. Definitely doesn't like this one.

He reaches and kills intruders by climbing over walls and running on them, charging the mortals at high speed once he got them in his sights (they are alerted to the sound of his clattering claws) and tackling the lights out of them, generally breaking their spine. If that wasn't enough, well those claws ain't here to look pretty, honey. This is however a last resort, as he hates getting himself dirty. He's the most tidy in the entire gang (and was quite teased for that).

He may or may not have a giant ultimate killing machine form made of scraps from the voids in case he needs to kick JoyKill's arse but that's just a concept lmao.

Before being ditched, Tabby was getting along quite well with Penny and Hangry, but really not with Lucky. After being scrapped, the JJG members went through a reset that made them forget about him, even Lucky. However when found back Lucky is the only one who can actually remember him. The other two most likely won't take too well to learn about how a member got scrapped... Especially with the complicity of Lucky. But hey, that's only hypothetical. Am I right ?

To be honest, I really like this character. I will definitely post more about him in different contexts, be it only as an excuse to draw the Joy Joy Gang. I really hope you like him too because you're sure gonna see him again.

mShenko appreciation post...

So... I usually (ejem... better said always, if I'm being honest XD) choose femShep in Mass Effect.

Long story short, I like to play characters in my own gender... Kinda helps a lot with the immersion, despite the fact that I look nothing like my main Shep. And, in the wise words of my brother: "If I'm gonna have to stare at an ass for hours of gameplay, I prefer it to be a woman's ass" (Nothing against men ass' on my part though... I mean, I'm a Kaidan stan 😳😳😳 but I'm week when it comes to females curves ehehehehehe sue me XD)

Anyways... Butt thing aside, I always play femShep. And the same femShep, Mio Shepard. Because I got the fanfic writer disease back when I was like 13 years old and I haven't found the cure yet, so... All I play, write and draw (because I didn't have enough obsessions already lol) related to the main ME trilogy is about my main shep and Kaidan.

I swear I'm about to make my point, stay with me for a little longer XD

Thing is, with the launch of MELE, I decided to see the mShenko romance for the first time (yep, first time... I imagine you can already tell, but I'm that kind of person that once she likes a game, she plays it a 1000 times but always in the exact same way and making the same choices in every single run).

So here we are, a year later, and here's the post about it 😅😅😅

As I told you before, I tend to focus on fShenko. I love the Shenko fandom as a whole, but from what I've seen and from the people I follow, fShenko is in need of more help, support and content than mShenko (I may be wrong here... but the moment your femshep likes dudes people tends to scream at you why you shouldn't be with Kaidan and my mission in life is to always be there to reply that idgaf about how many aliens they think I should bang XD)

Said all that, mShenko.

It's fucking awesome.

Period.

Like... Truly amazing.

Mesmerizing.

I may be biased here, because Kaidan's arc with his sexuality is very similar to my own, but, the whole "At the end of the day, I'd love you no matter what gender you were" is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen in my whole life.

I was also very surprised by the amount of differences there were between both romances... Both of them top tier. And, against all my expectations, I can comfortably say that they are equally good. So if you love Kaidan and you've only seen one side, I really recommend you to check the other (learn from my mistakes ehehehehe although I think I've enjoyed mShenko 10 times more than I would have before making a few discoveries about myself... so I'm kinda happy it took me so long. Now it feels more special to me <;3)

fShenko has all the young, pure~ish, forbidden, cute and heart-racing vibes in ME1 *chef's kiss* and then (after a bit of angst) you have the mature, long-lasting, I'd die for you romance that we all deserve.

mShenko, on the other hand, is more Kaidan focused in my opinion, which I truly like, and his realization of what is love (🎵) and what Shepard really means for him, which I find extremely cute and beautiful.

And I'll admit, I'm the first to complain about Bioware (perks of being a forever resident of the shenko vortex) but I have to congratulate them on the way they wrote mShenko in ME3.

I really thought it would be ultra cringy and forced, because that kind of evolution is not the easiest to write, but I was sooooooo wrong and I'm sooooooo glad that I was. So yay~ to Bioware on this one!

So, yup... I wanted to do a quick post and here we are now, an hour later ehehehehehe 😅😅

Anyways, and to wrap this up, just sharing an opinion (or ten) here... I was just thinking about it today and I felt like writing a post about it (there's always room for more Kaidan appreciation posts <3).

Hey Ram! Sorry for asking, but I saw you mention country stereotypes and I was curious... how's Costa Rica? Like, landscapes, art, culture and the like? :P

Holaaa Sebaaa !! ohhh nooo SEBAAA que ha hechoooo JAJAJA asdhgfs this is going to be a long answer but since i know that you like history i want to give you a complete answer jaja aaaand also i like to talk about CR

So here !! let's take a sit and talk about my dear little ✨Costa Rica✨

WARNING !! THIS IS A LONG POST 😅 but hey if you want to know a little bit of CR you can take a look :D

First to clear out the thing about the stereotypes, by the jungle and the beach thing, what i mean is this :

Most of portrayals of CR are like this and honestly they are not wrong, we do have forests and we do have a lot of beaches (PFFT) but sometimes they are a little too much, for example In Jurassic Park they did this 😅 :

So yeaaah... as to answer your question, here is some info about CR

COOL NATURE PLACES !!

There are A LOT of these but i chose some that are pretty interesting

1. Monteverde : In here you can see a lot of birds, animals and plants and you can walk in many of those .. uh bridges ? it is pretty cool and in there you can see Purple Hummingbirds 💜

2. Isla del Coco : this one is basically a natural treasure for CR because of its biodiversity !!! In here there are many hammerhead sharks 💙

3. Rio Celeste : this is apart of a national park named Volcán Tenorio, in this place there is this waterfall that it is literally BLUE .

4. Isla San Lucas : This place is not only an island, it literally was a JAIL but now it is a national park. I've never been there but i really want to !!

5. Volcán Arenal : This is one of my favorite volcanos !! why ? because that lake in the picture is an artificial lake that helps us with hydro electricity !! I've been there and it is pretty amazing :D

ART AND CULTURE PLACES

Ok since i don't want to make this answer longer than it already is here are some places related to culture and arts which btw are some of my favorites <3

1. National Museum of CR : This is like the main museum of CR in here you can see a general overview of the history of CR. Fun fact !! I actually volunteer as an Illustrator for this museum 😁✨ ( i draw birds and animals )

2. Jade Museum : THIS IS MY FAVORITE MUSEUM 💚 !! Most of the collections of this museum are dedicated to indigenous culture and arts.

3. National Theatre Of CR : This a really old and fancy theater. A funfact about this place is that one of my teachers once told that this place has some hidden masonry symbols in some of the sculptures that are in there .

4. Guayabo National Monument : This is one of the principal archeological places in the country which is important since we don't have many of those :/. I've never been there but i really want to go !!

5. Santa Rosa : In here took place one of the few wars that happened in CR before our army was abolished also i have never been there but i want to go one day.

6. Durán Sanatorium : If you want to go to an spooky abandoned hospital, this is the place !!! In the past this was an hospital for people with tuberculosis but now it is a touristic place in which you can see ghosts. Honestly I've been there and i never got spooked 😂 but this place is one of my favorites and i find it pretty.

ART AND CULTURE (again 😅)

Here are some general things of CR

3. 15 de Setiembre : our independence day and we celebrate it every year

1. Carretas : are one of our national symbols and they have those funky colors and designs

2. Gallo Pinto : one of our most popular foods and it basically consists of rice and beans haha

4. trajes típicos : which are the clothing that people usually wear when they are doing one of our folkloric dances or when it is 15 de setiembre lol

and when it comes to art !! Costa Rica has many artists !! Like Cesar Valverde, John Timms, Dan mora and others

If anyone wants to know more things about CR  go ahead and ask me😁💖 !! I like to share things about Costa Rica since .. not many people know about this little country and its people haha

also right now Costa Rica has an animation industry that is growing day by day with studios like Relish, Osopez, Marte and Headless Chicken :D

Oh and last !! As a random thing (?) when it comes to technology there is a man called Franklin Chang !! Who was a costarrican astronaut and created a company named Ad Astra Rocket and in that company they are developing a plasma propulsion technology for rockets :D which is pretty cool !!

AAAnd that's some of the things that i can tell you about CR !!
