If possible, do you have anymore information on your AU version of Policarpo?

And sure! Something I find interesting about the og Policarpo, while he can be judgemental to other characters, he's insecure about presenting himself to them (particularly feminine wise) Even though the others know he likes to present femininely, he denies he does. And despite this, he still dresses to work in suits. He dresses professionally as a man. And we know he doesn't like risking getting himself into scandals.

Guaripolo could give less of a shit about what people think of him. He's even rebellious. He does whatever he wants. They seem like quite different characters with this. With swap Policarpo, with Guaripolo's confidence, I imagine he's able to express himself more freely. He's able to do more things he wants. I think he feels more happier because of this. He still has a strong love for music. He also hates that he was rejected as host for the top rankings. Combine his love + pettiness + confidence to do whatever he wants, this is what drives him to try to replace Guaripolo. It doesn't work and Guaripolo would remain the host. This is what he wants and he plans on getting it. He gets annoyed that Guaripolo is so laid back with the one-sided rivalry and thinks he doesn't take his work seriously. Guaripolo just thinks he's funny.

I think that as Poli grows more comfortable and more rebellious, he'd take some inspiration from the punk scene. Idk just a random thought 💀

Suspense is one of the hardest things to write, especially in an 8k+ fic, without being too obvious or too subtle. You perfectly portrayed every emotion, every point of tension, every slight of hand…just absolutely phenomenal. You’re amazing. Your talent is unreal. I bow down to you.

I was also wondering if you had a certain character in mind for the opposing man who stole reader away? Even if not a specific character, maybe an anime character whose looks you were imagining while writing him? I kind of imagined Kageyama for some reason. I also know that asking for a part two is very annoying, so please don’t misconstrue this as me asking that or being disrespectful, but I was wondering if you would ever consider expanding this storyline. Even if not with Oikawa, I was fascinated by how you made out maddog’s character in this (like how he broke his last “toy”). And how do you imagine Yakuza Oikawa would punish reader besides killing that man in front of her? Amped up security? Moving places? Having kids to “trap” her? (Continuing off the previous ask) When reader had the “fuck me” heels (great detail btw) on before the marriage, was she planning on meeting that same man who ended up stealing her away? How far back does their romance go? Is he from another powerful Yakuza, and how threatening is he compared to Oikawa?

so yes the ‘other man’ is akaashi. i’m so glad you liked the mad dog parts!! i really couldn’t resist throwing as much seijoh in as i could get away with, and i fucking love kyoutani so much, he’s so fun to write for! as for whether i’ll write more, i don’t usually, but there’s a slim chance on this one. maybe. we’ll see. 

so yeah when (if) oikawa catches her, she’s in for a bad time. they won’t move or anything but security’ll get amped up and she’ll basically be on house arrest until oikawa believes he can trust her again. 

and yes, it was akaashi she was seeing the whole time, from the date on his birthday right through. i’ve mentioned in some earlier asks, but he’s basically a contract killer, though he’s kept that little nugget of information a secret from her. i wouldn’t say he’s a yandere, but he definitely has some questionable morals, and to a certain extent he’s comfortable lying/manipulating if he believes the outcome is worth it so... idk. would he hurt the reader? no. would he manipulate her a little bit into staying with him? perhaps. 

wonderful piece, rhi!! do you think the reader would leave akaashi knowing that he also does the type of work she tried so desperately to avoid?

it’s definitely a blow for her. not only did he lie about what he does, and to a certain extent about who he is, but he also shot makki. she might not have been happy staying with oikawa, but she has a semi-friendly-ish relationship with a few of the seijoh guys and i would say aside from maybe iwa, makki’s the one who has the most contact with her. 

and even if he wasn’t, she’d still be horrified that someone got shot. even though she got out, knowing the cost of that was more blood, she’d feel incredibly guilty. it’d definitely make things tense with akaashi, who’d be trying to convince her that a) makki’s a shitty guy anyway, b) it was shooting him or letting her go back to oikawa, and c) he still loves her, and despite all of that, she’s better off being with him than oikawa.

i’m surprised it took y’all this long, i was expecting to wake up to at least one of these asks haha

to be honest, as much as oikawa likes the idea of yet another thing tying the reader to him, he’s in no rush to have a kid/family. he wants one (or more) definitely, but he’s mature enough to recognise that once there’s a baby involved, he’s not gonna have all of his wife’s attention so he plans on holding off for a bit.

once (if) he gets her back though... considering he’s planning on tying her to the bed and fucking her for like a week solid.... :))
