Hello! 👋 Thank you for playing! 🥰 I hope you enjoyed it! To answer your question... Honestly? Just go for whatever work you like. Each entry in the series can offer you something different. Though if you really want some recommendations on where to start, here are some suggestions you may want to consider! (info under the cut)

If you want to go in totally blind, I would highly suggest starting with P.S. I Still Love You. It connects everything quite well and gives a more "shocking" impression. I think it's also the most accessible despite its length. The common route has a more lighthearted start and would ease you into the narrative until we get to the hard mode routes where it gets darker and more serious.

If you are playing Obey Me Nightbringer and you like lore, try starting with Ode to a Lily. There are some terms and concepts that might not make sense at first (especially the end notes) but I've included helpful links within the fic texts to give more context and insight to some references. It's pretty heavy on Celestial Realm politics and lore if you're into that kind of thing. It's also complete! Though the other side of the story, Lilith's perspective is yet to be explored until I write Lucifer's ending in PSISLY. You'll see why.

You can also start with Just You: Chapter 1 then go straight to P.S. I Still Love You. Ignore chapter 2 for now. It will lead you there at the right time. c: If you read it this way, you can get the same experience as starting out with P.S. I Still Love You. Most of my older readers started like this as well!

The only entries I highly discourage to read blindly are the chat logs and Memoria side stories. They wouldn't make any sense unless you read PSISLY or Ode to a Lily. And at OE B moving forward for Barbatos, it will be really spoiler heavy which may affect your enjoyment/immersion.

Oh! If you want to read PSISLY, I have included the route suggestions in carrd (it's in the fic description)! Generally,

Common Route > Mammon > Satan > Barbatos > Lucifer (this isn't released yet) > Final Route (some portions of it are already released)

They can become friends, lovers, rivals with each other. Zach thought that Lucanis was the coolest character he gets to play. It sounds like he mentioned Illario [I'm assuming] by name. Lucanis is quick-witted. Neve is a bit of a romantic. Jessica found voice acting freeing as it felt like playing pretend when she was little. In her role, she felt like she could embrace being very powerful. Neve is passionate. On Emmrich, "wisdom, calm to group, warm-hearted, loves learning". Emmrich has some fantastic lines. Along with working with Varric to track down Solas, Harding has also been working with Rook and Neve. Ali talked a lot about how much collaboration there is between BioWare, the actors and the material they're given to work with. sorry for the late reply! I think I’ve written something on this before but im on mobile and i know im never gonna find it so. this is mostly hcs:

for whatever reason I’ve always imagined Brienne’s mother as a quiet, daydreamy person who doesn’t smile much but somehow exudes warmth anyway. Selwyn I imagine as having been a big character in his youth but he turns inwards after the loss of Cyril (my hc name for her) and their children. but anyway they were an odd couple in their youth but it kind of worked

the main thing she and Brienne share is a passion for stories, songs and poetry: I think Brienne gets her romanticism from her mother, and Cyril knows a lot about stormlands folklore etc and Brienne is always eager to hear about. they go on walks about the island together to see supposed sites of magic

otoh i think Cyril would be aware that Brienne looks different to other girls but her approach is just to never comment on it. which is fine at first but hard for Bri in adolescence bc she kind of needs Cyril to say she knows she’s different and that’s fine, but Cyril thinks if she says nothing then Brienne will never even realise

Brienne still would have suffered the insults of someone like Septa Roelle, who is more than happy to tell her precisely the ways she’s different, but she doesn’t want to tell her mother bc she’s scared of Cyril confirming it’s all true so unfortunately that never gets addressed

hc that Cyril living means Selwyn maintains his big personality to a greater extent, and he’s warmer towards Brienne as a result. but he’s often distracted by his role as the Evenstar so Bri doesn’t confide much in him EITHER

you know I guess it all really depends on what kind of person Brienne’s mother was in terms of what impact she would’ve had on Brienne’s story. I think she and Brienne would’ve been warm towards one another but not similar people, so she can’t necessarily heal all of Brienne’s hurts and Renly’s kindness is still enough to drive her to join his train

I don’t picture Cyril trying to stop Brienne leaving, she thinks it’s kind of romantic. but Selwyn being less inward in this AU, he does try to stop her as his only heir and that creates a rift between them. maybe that results in Brienne being more resolute about not returning till she wishes, or less so idk. but in short my hc is that Brienne got away with much of her nonconformity through the emotional absence of Selwyn who is too lost in grief to pay her enough attention

maybe in the least, Brienne doesn’t immediately feel so strongly tied to Catelyn, with whom I think there’s a slightly maternal relationship going on? bc she doesn’t lack a mother, that bond doesn’t feel so urgent as it does in ACOK, for either of them: Brienne subconsciously looking for the presence of a maternal figure, Catelyn missing her own children terribly and especially her daughters

The reason why I got into RP is because it helped me with my skills, I was a journalist when I started my ooc career (not anymore) and doing threads in between breaks were fun. Back then, AIM and Tumblr were the sh*t and sidenote, I remember being bullied/dragged in an ooc rp drama manhunt way back when because of a problematic mun and that's when my selectiveness for rp-ing started. Also developed a habit of letting muns go if i feel iffy with the way they communicate. it gives me the ick as the kids say nowadays lol.

Getting to know @antiresolution -mun through the screen. I have another online friend to vent to (im sorry ily hope ur doin good) oh and having more mun-friends and writing partners. it's always nice to find muns who still care about writing and not just building ic relationships in canons. When I first started, I was a semi-au blog (been loyal to sooyoung fc since day one lolololol), that was married to a xiumin-fc. That xiumin-mun wrote really well and it was the first relationship plot I have every written. After AIM's downfall, I believe they quit all in all, but I still think about it from time to time. Semi-Hiatus Anouncement

The short of the matter is I’m going to go on a lil semi-hiatus until 3rd September! My IMs & Discord (for those who have it) is going to be open for plotting/discussing etc. but posts, especially replies, are going to be very limited. My ask box will be closed until I am back, too, since I don’t want to accumulate more asks than I already have (these are delayed by default, sorry!!!).

If anyone cares to know why, it’s because I’m returning to university which means shifting houses and retruning abroad. The whole procedure has me super busy which is why I haven’t been able to keep up with anything. My queue has emptied itself and, honestly, I don’t have the time to fill it back up until I’m a bit more settled.

I may be able to do some replies/add to my queue while I wait at the airport later this week or in-flight, but I’m not going to promise anything! All I can keep up with is IMs/Discord texting. 

I will try to trim some replies down so I can write on mobile if I get the chance but just be aware that this period is extremely busy for me and I do want things to settle before classes start up!

Xiao is mourning for the passing of his immortal companion*, making him the last immortal to walk the world. Now, it is he, who last remains from a time of gods and monsters. Each passing of a mutual, he witnessed. They deemed it was their time to move on, for humanity has succeeded to bring fate into their own two hands. The world no longer needed them.

Xiao has already suffered loss way before the Archon War. Yet, he never expressed the emotion of grief for he needed to be strong lest the world will eat him alive. However, this passing made his heart of glass, chip a little, then shattering the whole thing altogether. Or perhaps, it was already chipped away and too fragile because of the losses that has culminated in his immortal life.

Now, he lays on the roof of a building of what used to be Wangshu Inn. He was trying hard not to break down again. By doing so, he merely cursed fate over and over again. Yet, to no avail, the man exploded in tears once more, too tired from all the pain and loss suffered from millenias.

Then... there's you. You who uttered the words, "Until then, we will find each other again."

With all sincerity he can muster, he wanted to believe those words. He wanted to believe in you. That's why he stayed. Yet... the pain he feels heavily overweighs his faith in you.

No one heard him utter those words, only the wind. And the wind- just as once the Anemo Archon had said, carries the words one thinks no one can hear.

It came like a whisper, yet loud and clear. Then all of a sudden, the memories of your previous life flashed before your eyes. You dropped the book you were holding and held your temples at the incoming migraine.

"Are you alright?" You friends asked in worry, looking for any visible signs of pain aside from your clenched eyes and your frowning expression.

You sprinted around the area, following and listening to that now faint whisper under the night. The whispers only became clearer and louder when you approached a building which used to be an inn.

At the call of his name by a familiar voice, his head whipped to its direction. But he shall not be fooled.

The words along with lifeless eyes stabbed you.

Your heart was beating against your ribcage. You had to prove you were real. But how?

"You're just an illusion made by my heart."

For each word you uttered, you grew confident in your memories. For each word, you took a step closer. For each word, you saw life coming back to the man you love.

At the final word, you released all your sincerity, genuity, and adoration for him. And finally, your hands took purchase in his (while trying so hard not to shed any tear for his sake).

To put it bluntly, walking within the old yet maintained Ragnvindr Mansion was a memory lane. However, the moment of reminiscence only gave him a heavy heart, for within these halls used to be filled with your laughter.

In this very same spot where he currently stands, is where you uttered your last words.

Walking aimlessly around the mansion, he thinks about those long, long years without you. Must be fate so cruel? Making him search far and wide, when in the end fate does not want you to return to him? The man clenched his fists, and in anger, punched the nearby wall.

He expected a bursting kind of pain to come, yet what came was a dull throb on his knuckles. Yet this is not only what he had not expected. He did not expect for the wall to respond with a resounding hollowness.

A hidden corridor? Room? When had the family installed this?

Curiosity held him and began kicking the hollow wall without hesitation. What secrets does it hide from all these years, he shall know. Once the wall opened up for him to fit, he entered with a lit phone in hand at extreme brightness.

Again, what he saw, he had not expected. What he saw both filled and emptied his heart simultaneously. What he saw was a painting of you and him, together in a moment of shared happiness.

"Dilu-" His mother called which snapped out of his trance. His head snapped at her direction and saw her eyes fill with solemness.

"I didn't mean to-"

His mother hushed him with a gentle smile and entered the room to stand alongside him.

"You know," his mother began, "I always believed in the fantasy that had been once in our world. Lord Barbatos, the other Archons, the Twins that saved our world, Visions, and... reincarnation. I always believed in them.

The moment I saw your features when you were born, I knew you were the reincarnation of the Uncrowned King of Mondstadt... So I named you after him because I knew your memories would resurface someday. I knew the day would come when my son will no longer be my son. Because when that day comes, all I would see in your eyes is a long unspoken wisdom and pain that will replace your innocence free from battles and war."

Diluc was surprised, yet kept his emotions to himself. He understood what his mother was pointing at. "Is... Is this why this picture is hidden?"

His mother nodded solemnly. "Perhaps, I was afraid and scared about when the day I spoke of will take place. That's why I ordered this painting be hidden. I knew this painting of you and Lady Y/n will unlock your memories sooner, but I didn't want that."

For once in his lifetimes, his heart softened with love. The kind of love that assures you that someone cares for you. Never in his reincarnated lifetimes, had he experienced this feeling. All those years, he was just... lost in the feelings and thoughts of not being with you.

The man stepped towards his mother with hesitation to which he instantly erased. He hugged his mother with a soft spoken voice saying these words.

His mother looked at him with a proud gaze, "Go. Find her. If memory serves right, I might have seen someone like her dwell everyday in the local library."

The man released his breath he never knew he was holding. Diluc hugged his mom again with a peck on her cheek. He then let go and began to exit the room with haste.

"Once I come home, I will tell you everything. Venti, Morax, the Twin Travelers, the Archons, and Visions. I will tell you everything."

With a rush, Diluc was now out of sight. Yet, the Madam Ragnvindr was not saddened. Her heart swelled for her son whose eyes are finally, once more lit with happiness. However, who's Venti?

Soul Transferrence 1.0

I had finally done the impossible, the Soul Transferrence Chip 1.0 was completed. It allows the user to upload their soul into the chip and transfer it to another living host upon them wearing the article of clothing it is attached to. I just had to try it out and I knew who I could try it on! The only perfect body I knew could fit me.

My brother's best friend Ryan, is super close with my brother, Riley. They both did everything together. Every time, Ryan would always come over to our house. Riley doesn't treat me nice, but Ryan treats me so well, always getting me gifts and snacks. Moreover, Ryan was more handsome and buff. He likes going to the gym to build up his muscles. He was oozing with self confidence and charm. If I wanted to transfer my soul, I want to be as cool as him.

I placed the chip in the removable sole of a new pair of shoes I bought for Ryan. One morning, I visited the gym he frequently works out at and I saw him getting ready for his routine.

"Hey Ryan, sorry to bother you, but I need a favor." I stuttered to him

"Hey bud, wassup. What kind of favor do you need? I'll see how I can fully help you."

"So I got you this pair of shoes because I know how much you wanted it from the conversation you had with my brother. I have placed a new workout assistance chip that tracks your progress and uploads the data to my computer so I can generate future better workouts for you based on various factors. I was wondering if you would do be the favor of being the trial user." I lied to him while presenting him the sneakers.

"Awesome little man, its pretty cool that I have the honor of being your test rat! I'll be happy to help out. haha You didn't have to get me this pair of shoes, I would have helped out regardless! Anyways I can afford my own clothes and shoes, I have lots of money! I will pay you back later for these!" He winked at me while trying on the sneakers.

"It fits so perfectly! I guess you got my size correctly! Anyways, I have to start my workout now, you can have a seat at the side. When I am done, I'll give you a ride home." Ryan continued while getting ready to start.

"It uses sound vibrations, so you will be able to hear the program starting up and uploading. Just ignore it, don't let it bother you." I reminded him as I headed to the locker room. Upon reaching there, I started the program via a mobile app. My body started disintegrating, and I felt my soul being absorbed by the chip in Ryan's sneakers.

Ryan stripped down to his workout shorts and started with his workout, he didn't realize that his actions and mind was slowly influenced by me filling up his hunky body. I felt a rush of adrenaline and testosterone the more Ryan was absorbing me. I could feel a boner forming in his shorts from all the sexual thoughts I had about his bulging muscles and endurance.

Ryan was starting to feel lightheaded as my soul took over more of his mind and body. He thought it was due to the fact that he forgotten to drink his pre-workout booster that he was feeling this way. I influenced him to think it was okay to take a break. As he sat down, he fainted slightly. At that point, I pushed further and entirely took over his body to prevent him from falling over.

At this point, I thought I messed up my chip because my soul didn't fuse with Ryan. I was supposed to take over him and become everything of him and I, but his soul dettached and went into the chip.

I stood up. My body was reigning in all the glory of full-blown power and self confidence. My chip works! I flexed and posed. I smiled as I could feel a raging boner filling up my shorts. I suppose I did enough that I can not finish my gym routine today. Time for me to shower and explore more.

His manly musk emitted from my body as I stripped. Ryan's body was all sore from his workout and side effects of the soul transferrence.
