i'm sorry if this is super intrusive and you're by no means obligated to answer if it makes you uncomfy, but do you tend to block a lot of people for random reasons? we've never interacted but it sent by rejection sensitive dysphoria into overdrive bc i feel i did something wrong

oh yeah i definitely do. don’t worry if you’re blocked you’re one among many and it doesn’t necessarily mean i even dislike you or your content.

top reasons i block people which don’t necessarily mean i dislike them:

they post netflix witcher / geraskier content (i just don’t wanna see it)

they post regis x dettlaff as a ship, seem to sexualize regis or draw him naked/shirtless, ship regis with women, or draw/write/interact positively in some way with the idea of regis as he is in the 13th century, not at stygga, relapsing and drinking blood from geralt or some other bastard

they post a lot about characters i dislike (especially if they woobify them, like “omg my pwecious wittle avallac’h,” “awww emhyr is so sweet,” “philippa is ciri’s fun owl aunt”) ... dettlaff fits on this list but eh i also kind of don’t care about him, it depends how i’m feeling

or they post hate for characters i like (this point basically translates to “unwarranted hate on yennefer” but ive also seen hate for milva too)

they post about other ships i dislike (e.g., geralt x eskel, geralt x lambert, geralt x emhyr, ciri x avallac’h, ciri x cahir, cahir x geralt, etc , etc... i could provide a whole list tbh but i’d end up forgetting so many)

they post a lot about their OCs and tag it with the main witcher tags (which isn’t something i dislike it just clogs up the tags and i can’t find anything)

making a lot of unnecessary or in my mind tasteless sexual jokes / content about the witcher (for example the “men get pegged” meme annoys me, and it’s harmless, but it annoys me)

in regards to actual dislike, a common reason i block people in terms of like ACTUALLY disliking them is like, if they reblog a lot of thinly-veiled ped*philia/inc*st/abuse fiction apologism like “fiction doesn’t affect reality, let fanfiction writers write whatever the hell they want!” ... another common reason is/was if they (related to twn) are like “the witcher is a polish/slavic series so it only white people should be in it, poc can’t represent polish/slavic culture” like smh get better values and critical thinking skills

but yeah if we’ve never interacted it’s not like i hate you or anything i just might not have wanted to see your content, im sorry i kind of know how it feels because some blogs i like but haven’t ever spoken to have blocked me and it’s disappointing, but it’s like eh c’est la vie, that’s their decision ig so im gonna respect it, but i am curious as to why i got blocked... if you really actually want to talk to me about it and/or you don’t feel like you fit in with any of the above categories, honestly feel free to send me another anon with your url to unblock you and we can dm about it and ill say the reason i blocked you, i don’t mind explaining but also i don’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings if they are sensitive to being blocked for a specific reason, so it’s up to you!! no pressure either way and no ill will
