B-side. Chapter 3
The 4th day
"Ladies and gentlemen, Struggle-fiends of Twilight Town! It's time for summer's most sizzling clash! That's right! Today is the day for the Struggle and title match!"
(The sandlot had been renovated for todays Struggle tournament, with lots of seats and a big combat ring to fight in. It would have been exciting, if you didn't screw things up yesterday. You were standing with the other contestants, who were. . .)
"Welcome, the four bad boys who struggled their way through the preliminaries!" (The guy in charge of all this, you never learend his name, really did like driving up the crowd and making a show of this.)
"Regular finalist and head of the Twilight Disciplinary Committee, Seifer!" (You can see Seifer sneer at you, of course he made it in. Maybe beating him would finally shut up him.)
"Completely out of nowhere, who knew he'd make it so far THIS year? Vivi!" (The small and cheeky looking. . . Uh. . . Shadow person? You didn't know Vivi that much, just that he was good and knew some magic.)
"An underground favorite and local attitude problem, Hayner!" (You look over to Hayner, silently wishing he got over yesterday.)
"It's his first trip to the finals! And Struggler number 4, who happens to be my absolute favorite customer, Roxas!"
(You awkwardly wave to the crowd. Yeah, favorite customer. Last time you checked, you were still being framed for stealing things around town. Why the sudden change?)
"So, who will win this sweltering summer Struggle!? And win our grand prize!! But more importantly, who will get the chance to face off against our surprise champion, the pale blur of Twilight town, Siffrin!!"
(Siffrin waved from nearby to the crowd. Honestly, they looked nervous. Not really used to the attention, maybe? Then why'd they go and beat Setzer? You see him glance over at you, then look away.)
>>>
(Round 1, you and Hayner.)
". . ." (The two of you were all ready in the Struggle arena, foam bats and everything. Hayner looked excited, you sighed, and looked away.) "Hey… Sorry about yesterday."
"What?" (Hayner shrugged.) "You still worried about that? You need to learn to let that stuff go Roxas."
"Sorry. . . I've got a lot on my mind." (You take a breath.)
"Sorry, man- wait," (Hayner gets in his fighting stance.) "What am I sorry for? C'mon! Let's get the match going!!"
(You smile, and get your bat ready. You glance over the crowd, your eyes landing on Pence and Olette cheering you on. Hah, you had some good friends, Roxas.)
>>>
"When did Vivi get so tough?" (Hayner asked.)
(Round 2, Vivi and Seifer. You had one in your match against Hayner, he was bumbed, but bounced back quickly.)
"I dunno. . ." (You say, watching the two go at it.)
(Vivi was fast, faster than you'd seen someone move in a long time. By the look of it, Seifer was just as surprised as you, struggling, haha, to keep up.)
"I guess it wouldn't be the first surprise Struggle winner in the past couple days." (Comments Hayner.)
"Yeah. . ." (You glance over to Siffrin. He wasn't watching the match.)
>>>
(Round 3, you and Vivi.)
(You held you Struggle bat tightly. Vivi had been a beast last round. So much so that Seifer himself had given you some words of wisodom.)
("That's not Vivi, thrash em.")
(Well he didn't have to tell you twice.)
(The match started, and you rush forward, taking a few swipes, but the shorter opponent just dodged and jumped away. You try a few more times but each time he'd jump around with his annoying little laugh.)
(You take a few breaths, alright, if that wouldn't work, let him come to you.)
(Vivi hopped around a bit more, before rushing at you with a few strikes. You block him and take your chance. Striking back at Vivi and connecting!!)
(Just a little bit more of that and you're set, Roxas!)
(And so the little dance continued, don't go on the offensieve, wait for an opening and strike!! Again, and again! Vivi struck again and again, but you already got his whole gameplan locked down!! You parry his next swing and send him flying, now's your chance!! You rush forward and. . .)
(Time stops.)
"Again?!?" (You shake your head.)
(You look around, everyone's frozen. Your Hayner, Pence, Olette, the crowd, Siffrin, all of them unmoving. You took your fighting stance, 'cause you could tell what was going to happen next, and the Keyblade appears in your hands.) "Bring it!!"
(From flashes of dull light four of those dusk things surround you. You got this, you got this, YOU GOT THIS!!!)
(You breathe in, and out.)
(You swing, one at a time!! Again, two, three!! It's easy!! This is EASY!! You jump to the side to dodge one of those sharp limbs, you feet feel like they're floating as you drift around the creature. And that must have confused them!!!)
(Again, and again!! And again!!! One down, you strike the others too, keep going!! Keep going untill-)
(Done!!! Finally!!! Stupid, stupid weirdo stranger things!!!)
(You're panting, and you shake your head. Wow, you were light headed. Looking around, everything was still frozen, though. You look around. . . Do you hear clapping?)
"Roxaaaas, alriiiight, fight fight fight!" (You turn around, there was a man in a black cloak clapping, he walks towards you. You take a step back.)
". . . You really don't remember?" (The figure shakes his head. He takes off his cloaks hood, revealing a head of long, spikey red hair, blue eyes, and teardrop tattoos.)
"It's me, y'know, Axel."
(You squint at the weirdo.) "Axel?"
(He shakes his head.) "Talk about blank with a capital B. . . Dusks wont be enough to get this done."
"Hey what's going on here?!?" (You take a stance, getting annoyed at all of this weirdness!)
"Sorry, no time. You're coming with me, conscious or not." (With a burst of flame, Axel reached out and from nothing summoned a pair of chakrams, and started twirling them in his hands.) "Then you'll get your answers."
"What?!?" (You grip the Keyblade closer.) "No way! Just tell me what's going on!!"
"Number 13. Roxas. The Keyblade's chosen one. . ." (Axel said under his breath. He looks to the side. Then back to you.)
". . . Fine! You asked for it!" (You charge Axel, taking a few swings.)
(Axel blocks easily before swinging one of the chakrams into your side, you grit your teeth feeling the fire glance against you. You hop back as Axel takes advantage of that and swipes at you.)
"Hey! Do I ring any bells yet?!?" (Axel yells as you block the swings. You wait for a second, then counter, swiping under Axels swing and hitting him once, twice, thrice, again!)
(He stumbles back, watching you for a moment before dashing forward and twisting behind you in a fraction of a second. You only just have enough time to turn around and block.)
(You take another step back, and wait for Axel to swing in again, which he does. Just like Vivi. You block it and attack again.)
(You're trading blows, but you can't go on forever, c'mon Roxas, get it together!!)
(Axel swings again, another swipe, another retaliation. Don't get greedy, back up once you got your hits in.)
"Roxaaaas c'mooooon." (Axel's taunting you.)
"Shut up!!!" (You yell, charging at him again. He blocks your blows easily. Stupid, stupid-)
(He charges at you again, Chakrams ablaze. He unleases a fury of attacks, each one harder to keep up with. C'mon, Roxas, just a bit- there!!)
(You see an opening, and take it! You swing for Axel, striking at his chest with all you had!!!)
(And it was enough, he stumbles back.)
(You're panting, out of breath.) "NOW will you tell me what's going on?!?"
"Heh, Sorry." (Axel gives you a grin.) "No can do."
(You feel the world distort even worse than before. You stumble back.)
"Roxas," (A new voice, you turn, theres a man standing nearby, red outfit. Face mostly covered) "this man speaks nonsense!"
"Roxas!" (Axel yells.) "C'mon, don't let him deceive you!"
"Roxas!"
"Roxas!!"
"ROXAS!!!!!"
(You grip your head, it hurts, headache. Eyes squeezed shut, stumbling back. Roxas. Roxas Roxas Roxas Roxas ROXAS!!! STOP! YELLING! YOUR! NAME!!)
"H-Hayner, Pence, Olette. . ." (You mumble to yourself. Your friends, your friends you, you needed your friends you- it was, still just, so loud and-)
"Hey. . ." (You feel a hand on your shoulder, a calm voice, a familiar one.) "Breathe with me, okay?"
(. . . . . . You breathe in. . . . . And out. . .)
(You remove your hands from your head, and look up. The crowd was cheering, Vivi lay defeated at the other side of the arena. Those two men were gone.)
(Looking to your left, Siffrin had their hand on your shoulder, they were smiling at you.)
". . . How'd did you-" (You start, he cuts you off.)
"Looks like you'll be after my championship, big guy." (They pat your shoulder before walking away.)
"Roxas!!" (You turn, your friends were running to you.) "You did it!!"
(. . . Yeah, you really did.)
(Somehow.)

He’s a Vampire!
[~]
Half-Demon!Medic x Vampire!Bill - Monster AU
Word Count: 707
Tag List: @heavenshipped @cherry-bomb-ships @fangedwife @the-rocknroll-cryptid
Summary: Medic’s first encounter with Bill’s fangs~
Warnings: Blood and blood consumption mentions in some detail, suggestive scenarios that have little to do with actual NS/FW topics, conspiracy of murder as our main troupe are monster hunters.
REBLOGS > COMMENTS > LIKES - Thank you for reading!
"That guy has been following us for a few nights. And only at night." Spy commented as he and his fellow huntsman took an open carriage through foggy woodland, coached by the head of the group, Medic. He busied himself by sharpening his knife, but kept looking back over his shoulder at the road they left behind.
"He hasn't killed us yet," Medic spoke with an air of finality, uninterested in talking about the stranger.
"He's obviously a vampire, Medic." Sniper added, "why haven't we killed him yet?"
Medic said nothing, keeping the horses at a steady pace.
"You could be wrong."
Spy snorted. "You've gone soft!"
"Do you want to get out and walk to the nearest inn?"
"No," Spy grumbled under his breath in French, rolling his eyes and shutting his mouth.
When the group reached the inn, the fog had given way to a bright moon. Medic checked the men in and immediately went to his room. He was tired, yes, but also anxious about this vampire problem. Spy was right… maybe he had gone soft… but it was only for that one monster. He'd get over it.
He startled when his window opened on its own, aiming his loaded crossbow in the direction of the disturbance. A bat flew in through the opening, circling Medic's head before flopping on the bed and poofing into a person. They sat up and grinned, blushing a little bit, too.
"Hi.~"
Medic lowered and eventually set aside his weapon.
"Guten Abend. You frightened me." Medic spoke flatly and awkwardly.
The vampire giggled.
"Sorry… I'm just excited."
"Oh?"
The vampire stood and approached Medic, who backed into the door absent-mindedly.
"Tonight, I feed on the greatest monster hunter this side of the Redd Kingdom, all because he can't lift a finger against me!" The vampire giggled again and Medic's eyelids drooped… he'd never been good at shaking off vampiric charm. The vampire took his hand and drew Medic back to the bed, forcing him to lay down.
"You're looking awfully sleepy.~"
"Wait…" Medic pushed himself into a weak sitting position as the vampire unbuttoned his collar. "What is your name?"
"Bill. Now lay down, and try to relax… you don't know how much blood I lose on strugglers." The cutesy act was dropped as Bill grew ravenous for Medic's blood, which they had smelled only once before… it drove them into a frenzy. They had to taste it. Their tongue absently traced their fangs as they exposed Medic’s thick neck, prodding gently with their fingers to find the perfect vein to suckle from. “Turn your head slightly, dear.”
Medic could just barely follow the action, starting to slip into unconsciousness. Bill made a satisfied sound when he found the vein, and bit down with no hesitation, puncturing Medic’s soft skin and drawing his rare blood. It was like nothing Bill had ever tasted; it gushed hotter than the normal human’s, and was sweet and tangy, like lemonade, and had a subtle aftertaste of fine wine. He had to mentally remind himself not to drain his poor meal, it was that good.
He released Medic’s neck, using the hunter’s shirt as a napkin and peppering light kisses to the still oozing puncture wounds. He retrieved a handkerchief from his pocket and pressed it against the bite to soak up excess blood, before leaning back and admiring Medic’s sleeping features. He looked feverish from the feeding, his hair sticking to his forehead in strands that Bill lovingly pushed back into place.
“It is forbidden… but I could not stay away if I wanted to,” Bill mused quietly, deciding to tuck Medic under the covers and curl up beside him, above them. He was used to sleeping in a cave and required much less bedding than mortals, in fact finding the inn bed much too hot for his tastes, but nonetheless wanted to stay by Medic’s side. However, a knock would jolt him from peaceful slumber.
Hesitantly, Bill got up and answered the door… he’d play himself off as another person in the inn Medic decided to get frisky with, he supposed. When he opened the door, mostly hiding himself behind it, he was surprised to see a familiar face.
“Spy???”

*insert scandalozed victorian gasp here* IM SORRY BUT THAT FALL?? Peter did that??? On purpose??? the way I was so convinced that it was a genuine accident that conviniently feel in his lap and wud inspire him to do much worse once he realises it works---- i geniunely thought it was an accident. holy shit, btw Peter is such a prick. what the fuck is up with him? why the sudden change? also this might just be the first time where i have like 0 personal conflict that peter deserves to be left tf BEHIND (i realise that this implies that in other dark fics im sometimes like shit maybe stick around, i'll admit im a little bit of a mental struggler haha). BUT OK I want Steve and Bucky to get up all in that shit. poor girl. literally peter can go take a good long walk off the fuckin tower and plummet into the concrete. ok now i feel bad.
Noooo 😭 I tried to make it subtly clear that her fall was 100% on purpose. He didn’t want her going on anymore missions and it was a split second decision he thought of so that no one could claim he did it

Despite All This, I Still Love you 8
Lem quickened his pace to catch up with Nora, not willing to remain behind with the quivering Kieran and that warning glare Arthur held towards him. "Remind me again why we're doin' this?"
"Fishing?" She turned to look over at Lem who only stared blankly forward. "It's a nice break from all the workin' and I thought you wouldn't mind a day to jus' relax."
"Aunt Maggie won't be too thrilled if we're lazing about, mind and besides you k-know I ain't so keen on fishin'." He spared a glance over his shoulder, looking at how tense and stiff Kieran was as he walked behind them. Nora abruptly came to a halt which caught the group off guard, she turned towards Arthur and Kieran and waved them closer. "You two go ahead an' find a good spot." They nodded at her instructions and left the pair alone.
When gone, Nora took Lem's hand gently and pulled him from the path and over to a rock near to sit on. "One, Aunt Maggie wouldn't mind you havin' a break every once in a while and two, you don't gotta fish or stay.. I ain't gonna force ya."
"I'll stay but I won't fish." She chuckled slightly and placed her palm against his cheek. "You an' I can sit on the beach then."
"Sure."
...
She found the men a little bit away from Clemens Point, already preparing the equipment they brought for their little trip. Kieran had been the one to spot her as she approached and to be kind he gave both her and Lem a gentle wave.
"Nice spot you found here." She complimented and subtly Kieran had turned a darker shade of pink.
"It was more Kieran than me." Arthur pointed towards the male as he said this and Nora turned towards Duffy after being told so. "Well, it is a lovely spot."
To prevent himself from becoming more flustered, Kieran had to move further away from the group than he would like. At first Arthur opened his mouth to shout at the "O'Driscoll" but when he noticed the pink tint to his cheek and the more-than-usual nervey expression, he had realised that Kieran needed to move away from them so he wouldn't embarrass himself. He was definitely going to tease him about this in the future.
Nora sat crossed legged on the grass behind where as Lem sat in front, using his knee to rest his arm. "You two ain't fishin'?" Arthur asked them, when he noticed them sitting by.
Nora raised a hand and shook her head. "I'm poor at it and Lem ain't necessarily a big fisherman neither."
Kieran turned around with a subtle frown, extending hid hand forward even though she was too far to take it. "Come on, why don't you join in for a bit?" He called but she refused.
"I can show you some of my tricks."
Arthur heard his comment and quickly looked over with a warning look in his eye. "These tricks better be appropriate now, Kieran." And at this the man's face had turned a dark red and Nora bursted out into a hearty-laugh from it.
"I-It's not like that, Mister." He tried to defend but realised that the man had only been teasing when he too, broke out into a laugh.
Kieran abruptly looked away to hide the shame and focused entire on his fishing instead of Nora and the other's. "It ain't right." He muttered under his breathe but the other's didn't hear him anyway.
Nora stood between the two men, her hands on her hips as she inspected the calm waters and from across the way she noticed Mary-Beth standing with a coffee in hand, waving gently at them which she reciprocated with a bright smile.
Nothing much had been said amongst them, but there was no awkward silence amongst them rather, it was a nice feeling as they enjoyed their fishing.
"What in the." Kieran commented and both she and Lem looked over at him as his eyes inspected the waters. "That fellers as naked as a jay bird."
Her eyes landed on the person he spoke about once he swam near enough to be seen. "Oh my." She mumbled, turning away whereas Arthur had said "Is this why you like this spot?"
His comment went unheard however, and even then Lem had risen to see what the fuss was about only to be shocked at what he saw. Arthur called out to the naked man as he neared the line and so he stopped to talk with the group, much to their dismay.
"You know, there's this real impressive bluegill over that way!" The man extended his arms outwards to demonstrate it's size but ended up going under the water, Nora took a step forward out of habit and the man quickly resurfaced, everything a little too much on show. "Alright thank you, feller." The man swam away after Arthur's thanks and all excited, Kieran got ready to move over to that new spot recommended.
"I know where that is!" The man cheered. "Come on, we'll check it out now."
Just as excited as he was, Nora eagerly mounted her horse to follow behind the man as he led the group through more trees and to another  beach for them to fish on. They looked over at the water for a moment and to their surprise saw an extraordinary bluegill break the surface, significantly larger than most other bluegills.
Kieran looked bewildered at the fish and his joy grew at the idea of catching such a beast. "Let's go f-fish from the beach there."
"If you say so."
"I'd recommend using a lure for this, bread an' cheese won't do but we may get lucky.. who knows."
Nora had stood more so next to Kieran on the beach rather than anybody else while he fished. Arthur looked on over at the two and gently smiled at how much Kieran had relaxed while they were out. Sure he had still displayed being nervous and tried avoiding eye contact at all times, but he was a lot less tense while out here and more happy with Nora by his side.
Arthur would say allowed that he didn't trust the "O'Driscoll" and yet here he was, enjoying himself with the man he claimed to dislike. Awkwardly, he cleared his throat and turned towards Kieran while he looked with bright eyes towards the waters. "Who taught you how to fish anyway?"
"My Pappy, mostly." The man answered. "But he died when I was real young."
Nora frowned at this and noticed the sadness cloud behind the smile. She gently gave him a pat on the shoulder. "My mammy died too, cholera, nasty business."
"Your mammy?"
"Like I said, I was young."
Nora looked forward, inspecting the ripples in the water as the fish came to feed and the insects landed on it. "I lost my parents when I was.. fifteen maybe?" She quickly sighed. "My father was a drunk, always so angry. One day he and my mam went out an' never came back."
"I still had Aunt Marge. She looked after my two brother's and I until I turned eighteen and then I raised them from there." The men remained silent as she told her story, just as they had done for when Kieran told his.
"Somewhere I did something wrong because my brother's are.. well, they ain't great people."
"How d'you mean?" Kieran asked.
"Well, they love to tease Lem over nothin' and other things."
"S'pose that's m-most people. They'd get along wonderfully with the guys at camp."
Arthur looked over with a scowl. "Watch what you say, boy."
"Sorry." Kieran issued but it went ignored when Arthur began focusing on the fish he had hooked. It was a struggle to reel him in, undoubtedly a struggler and hoping it too be the bluegill the group had gathered around Arthur to spectate.
They stood and stared aimlessly at the water, waiting for the creature to be reeled in and eventually it had. Arthur wasted no time in bringing him back to shore, unhooking him and raising him up to inspect such a magnificent fish.
"Holy shit you actually caught it!" Duffy cheered, admiring the creature from his place. Arthur chuckled and wrapped the fish in a cloth to keep in his satchel, ready to take it back to camp for provisions. "I did."
Nora clapped slowly as she gathered the fishing rods for them to all put away, sending congratulations to the man over his excellent catch. "Time to head on back now, boy's." She said, slipping their fishing rods in the respective saddlebags. "We should go out fishin' again sometime, or maybe just go out and do somethin' fun."
Arthur agreed with this, taking the reins of his horse to lead him back to camp. "We should, I'll see you pair around but for now I gotta make sure the other's all know that I kept the O'Driscoll alive."
"I ain't an O'Driscoll." Kieran sighed.
Nora waved them off as they rode away, before turning back to Lem who had taken to idly stare at the calm waters.
...
She rolled onto her side, his back facing towards her and gently she reached forward to poke his arm. "Lem?" She whispered, afraid to wake any of the other people who slept nearby as well as disturb him just in case he had been asleep.
He turned over, looking at her through tired eyes and she wondered if she had woke him. "Did I bother you?"
He shook his head. "Couldn't sleep."
"Me neither." She turned to lie on her back, facing the stars up above.
"E-Everythin' okay?"
"Not particularly, Lemuel." She chuckled. "Another nightmare?" And gently she nodded.
"Come here." He beckoned, holding his arm up for her to roll into him. She shuffled closer and rolled over to stare directly into his eyes, feeling drastically safer once she found herself closer with the male. "Go to sleep. I'm r-right here with you."
"Only of you sleep too." She whispered, the exhaustion already washing over. He hummed his agreement as he gently ran his fingers through her hair. "I will."
"Thank you."

random question - if you had never watched aot before, and you decided to binge watch/read the entire series up to date, do you think you would have the same fav characters or not?
That’s a very god question.  I’ve actually reflected a lot on this... I’ve grown a lot since I found Armin. I got stronger in certain aspects, and I think... I’m less inclined to unconditionally fall for the low self-esteem characters now. But only by a small margin. The defining factor is, whether they try to push through their self esteem struggles on not. Those that let themselves become a victim over and over and never seem to be able to give up the comfort of using their uselessness as a crutch, I don’t have unlimited patience for anymore (just almost). I’ve been there, growing up that was me. But I grew - and Armin helped me grow even further. And I know that nothing will ever be better by just whining about it. Woes me. Yes, woes you... to a certain point. But once you’ve had your cry, you have to get up; there is no other option. Well, there is the choice of remaining in your sorry state, lamenting your inadequacy... but that will make you remain inadequate for the rest of your life, and at that point, you’ve got yourself to blame; not the world. It’s been scary to recognize that I understand why people find Armin whiny and useless. I’ve lost the unconditional patience I once had for attitudes like that - the victim mentality - because I’ve come to realize what perpetuates it and what defeats it. In the end, the only thing you can do is get back up and keep trying. “Just DO it”. Those that perpetually refuse, and have never ending vaults of excuses as to why not,.. they can’t be helped. You’ll take their hand and lead them forever; they’ll never start walking on their own. If you let go, they sit down and continue lamenting exactly the way you found them.  At a certain point, I can’t lag behind to baby them anymore. As a former negative Nancy and victim mentalist myself, I know that the only person who can fix them is themselves. I think there is no harder task than making a negative person realize they’re negative. You can’t tell them; they have to realize it themselves. Some do... I used to think everyone naturally would; I had my aha-moment at age 15 and I’ve consciously worked to veer my mind towards strength ever since - even though it’s a slow recovery. But I’ve come to realize that not everyone wakes up. Some people carry their victim mentality to the grave. And I don’t have unconditional patience for it anymore. I’ve got years and years in me, but not forever. This is a topic I burn deeply for in real life. I’m only scratching the surface here, as it somewhat relates to your question.  Now, with that longwinded preface, I want to make very sure that I’m not getting misunderstood here: I do *NOT* think Armin qualifies as a perpetual victim mentalist. What i’m saying is that he starts out with major self esteem issues, that hold him back and makes certain tasks that others just DO, hard for him to push himself into doing. Certain actions require a whole lot more of mental preparation and pushing for him to do, whereas others just jump right into it. This is why I say I understand why some people find him whiny; in the end we all have to do it, it’s either do or don’t, regardless of ability. You might make it, you might not, but nothing progresses until you *TRY*. Knowing that, depending on your patience, you’ll be annoyed with a character for not having done it yet after X amount of time. In action, where so many others just do, I understand that some don’t sit down with a whole lot of understanding and patience. They just want the action already. Characters, depending on their flaws, will meet the issue that takes time to surpass, at different stages. Some have self esteem issues and have trouble starting. Some lack skill and struggle to do it well. Others, again, struggle holding back, and may act prematurely. Etc.  I used to love the characters that face the struggle at the very beginning; the inner struggles of not feeling good enough in some way. And I used to be a lot more patient. But my patience has shortened, now that I know how self-sabotaging it is to play the victim card. At a certain point, I want them to break through that barrier they’ve put up to restrict themselves. If they don’t,... even though I understand them... I might not favor them anymore.  I still have a very strong affinity for them, though, and I think in most fiction, a character that doesn’t grow through a story, is just badly written... so in most cases, I think I’ll love this type the most anyways. But there is a limit, and depending on how interesting the other characters surrounding them are, I might favor some of them instead. I know this true for Crona. Or I think so, at least... this character from Soul Eater is one I’m sure I would have less patience for these days, had I not fallen in love with them already. Not that I wouldn’t love them and feel bad for them. But at some point, I’d be more exasperated with how they aren’t ablate evolve...  But Armin...? He’s the strongest boy I know. He has these struggles in heaps, but he always keeps pushing. He leveled up early, after realizing his friends might not view him as weak after all, and it did such a huge difference, even though he’s still not “healed” of his struggles. I understand that some people thought he whined too much, because they had no patience for any amount at all. But I still don’t agree with them. And I see that when they have no patience actually analyzing him and keeping their attention on him, it’s easier to fall for his own words of being “useless”, although that is 100% not true!  Not everyone comes fully equipped with confidence to tackle things without some inner conflict. To be honest, I’m a bit weary of people who don’t have any patience with Armin. Sure, there is something called too much, but there is also something called too little. Too little empathy and patience for other people’s struggles. Just because something is easy to you, it might not be to someone else. And if you can’t understand that, or you find it irritating just because YOU don’t have issues with it, then... I don’t expect you to have patience with people who have bad days. Days where they struggle. Someone who expects you to always be on top and who’ll be annoyed and mocking if you need some time and help... yeah, those aren’t my kinds of people. That being said, I know the weight people put on fiction varies from person to person, so take that assumption with a grain of salt, haha. I do, too. They might have a million times more love for real life strugglers, just not when it comes to wanting to be entertained. Just like for me, I think I still have the same amount of patience in real life as before. While characters need to evolve through x amount of pages, it takes a lot longer to grow in real life. Anyways, to cut the ramblings, I’ll say that while I’ve changed a bit, I’m still pretty much the same, and Armin is such a beautiful, complex, strong character, that I know he’d be my favorite even today. As a matter of fact, his introduction is hardcore. He’s not showing weakness and uselessness in the first scene; he’s standing up to bullies who are taller than him, bigger in number than him, stronger than him - and his line of those that hit proving they’ve lost, is just... fucking solid. As for the others... I don’t really know. I think I’d have the same faves, yes? Maybe I would be less observant of the backdrop characters like Moblit, Nick, Marlo, Colt (though I love him bc of the cracks ship me and my friend came up with, so I’d either love him or not care, in any situation, depending on whether that happened or not).  Thank you for the ask, and sorry for the titan wall of text reply, lol. So much ado about nothing, eh?  TL;DR: yes. lol

touch of silver
↳ prompt: witch!seokjin
pairing: kim seokjin | reader genre: witch au / fluff word count: 1,715 description: Kim Seokjin only wants the best for you — little does he know that it’s all part of fate’s grand design.
He was like you once.
Magic is like wine—made divine by the greater powers and just as dangerous in excess. Still, there is freedom in the craft.
The mundane world does not understand the camaraderie that takes place between the ground they stand on and their very presence. How easily the elements can be coerced into doing their bidding, how the mind is nothing more than just another portal to explore, and how their bodies are vessels are more than just spaces on Mother Earth. It is nothing more than just self-actualization.
But, for people like you and him, where the very act of listening to the Earth’s calling and coaxing the world around you to listen, it is simple to comprehend. And not everyone can complete such a feat. Some are still learning, some may never know, and some can be stripped of their abilities.
Seokjin remembers what it’s like to materialize simple things in front of him, because he refused to go to the closet for his broom. He remembers the very wisps of cyan that would take him to places he never would’ve spent more than twenty dollars to get to. Pressed even deeper to his memory are the clouds of viridescent hues, sometimes scarlet, and most definitely chartreuse that permeated from the steel caulderon passed on from his grandmother. He could feel the power of each ingredient as a potion or a charm came out of the concoction, and his pride swelled knowing that he could create miracles.
He was on top of the world, knowing everything that he did and doing what he could, but then came exam season, where knowledge and effort overpowers natural genius. His own natural talents were nothing compared to what Fate had planned for him. And a part of him knew that he wasn’t destined for more than just running his family shop, that his life was entwined and engraved with the testament of his family, but he sure as hell tried to defy it all. He wanted more. He wanted freedom.
Instead of moving on toward Elder training, he was stuck with a frivolous store to his name; his pride having died out somewhere along the way. And born in the ashes of those burnt dreams came a vehemence for recklessness and carelessness, because he knows what it’s like to be so close, yet still be so far from a dream that might’ve been his if he had only tried harder or if someone had pushed in the right direction.
He sees so much of that in you. From that day you stumbled into his shop with wide, curious eyes, nothing so much as a caulderon to your name before you were spouting out more questions than that damn exam his way. You thirsted for knowledge and for control of these abilities you hadn’t realized were yours up until a few months ago. You weren’t much younger than him, but he saw potential encasing you from the very start. He didn’t know why he was helping you or what made him accept this mentorship, but the universe coerced him through his conscious with memories of him lost at eighteen, seeking for guidance and coming up short because his families could only offer up so much before they fell short, and his heart thrumming with the sound of your voice and clenched at the dejection that threatened your visage. He had to help you—he knew that much.
And he pities his parents who once watched his journey, though they could only do so much as humans, he sees how much they fretted over his recklessness. All those nights they pleaded with him to be careful and to do the best that he could but not to lose sight on what he was striving for. He thought they were being silly to gray their hairs over him, but now he knows with you. he has to pray that you're not off gallivanting with the shapeshifters because you mastered one spell at how to do it or blowing off your studies just to master more of those advanced spells that were way out of your league.
“What were you thinking?”
The sharp octave is enough to elicit a wince, but it isn’t anything he hasn’t seen from you. Although this isn’t the first time, the two of you both seem to wish it were the last scolding. Today just isn’t that day.
There’s a cut on your cheek with remnants of dried blood smeared toward your ear, your clothes are crumpled and frayed so much that it has his heart beating more out of anxiety than actual anger, because he doesn’t know what happened but he can’t bear to stomach any of the possibilities. He knows the lycans of the shapeshifters are harmless, a little rough but for the most part they aren’t horrendous creatures like modern-day media likes to paint them. Really, it just looks like you had a small altercation with one but just that thought makes his stomach flip around in ways that would put a gymnast to shame.
“Jin, l-look,” you try, looking at him with upturned brows. The look he gives you makes a small frown form on the corners of your lips. Another thing that has his heart feeling a little despondent. “I’m sorry. I was getting something from one of my friends and we were roughhousing a little.”
He lets out a deep sigh, patting the cushioned stool by the counter. Instead of saying anything else, he disappears behind the lavender strands of beads for an old-fashioned first-aid kit from beneath the sink. It’s old, but his mother always said they would be useful even if a simple spell could fix any bruise, cut, or broken bone.
He sets the clear plastic container onto the marble counter, standing in front of you. Your eyes flicker to the antiseptic and the cotton ball in his hands before your brows furrow.
“You’re not going to use magic?”
He shakes his head, meeting your eyes with a soft look in his eyes and a much softer voice than earlier, “No. It’s just a cut, so some of this and band-aid won’t hurt you.”
You nod slowly, fiddling with something in hand but he still can’t find himself to ask about it. Instead, he asks as soon as you release a sharp hiss of pain, “Are you alright?”
“Yeah,” you smile a little. “I know that stuff hurts, and that thing with the lycan was literally just a scratch. You know how pups can get.”
He hums an affirmation as he sets down the burgundy-stained cotton ball, unwrapping a small rectangular band-aid before smoothing it over your minor wound.
“There, good as new.” He adds, “Try to be careful next time you go and neglect your studies.”
He knows that this is that sort of phase that’ll die out with time. You’ve grown more than he’s probably given you credit for, and now that his head has cleared up he does wonder what it was that you fought with a pup for.
You open your mouth before he can ask, with a devilish grin now perched on your elated visage, “Congrats.”
You open up your hand, pressing the small, unmistakably steel ring into the palm of his open hand and his heart flares not only because of the contact but because this can’t be what he thinks it is—!
“You passed!” You meet his wide eyes, drinking in the way his lips have probably fallen open and the shock rolling off his body in waves.
“H-how?” He manages to say, staring at the dark steel that he’s yearned for God only seems to know how long. “I failed though.”
You shake your head, “It was a test. Elders have to be resilient, and in the face of what you thought was failure was just another opportunity to redeem yourself—”
“—Teaching you?”
“And the first-aid kit.”
Seokjin lets out a breathy laugh, leaning his back against the counter for support. He never would’ve imagined that’s how the process went, and when he looks back up to you, he doesn’t regret it either.
“Thank you,” he says softly. “And I’m sorry for being so hard on you.”
You wave him off, “I’m sorry for being such a tough student to deal with.”
He blinks, “Are you…?”
“Getting there, but my test won’t be like yours I don’t think. We’ll see.” As he nods, you watch him expectantly, “Well, aren’t you gonna put it on?”
“Oh—uh, yeah, I should huh?” You laugh, rising from your spot to stand in front of him. The back of his foot hits one of the cabinets, but you pretend not to notice in favor of slipping the small token of his hard work onto his ring finger. It’s lighter than it was in his hand, but he feels content that maybe he was fated to more than just this shop after all.
You rise onto your tiptoes to give his cheek a peck, smiling up at him as you remain standing before him. A different air washes over you as the world around him seems to get a little clearer and a little calmer. Though the pounding in his chest might beg to differ, because those feelings haven’t changed. Not even a little bit.
“Tomorrow, usual time?” You ask, taking a step back and clipping your thigh against the corner of the stool.
He laughs, “Yeah, try not to be late.”
“Wouldn’t dream of it,” you reply with a small wink. It’s an unsaid fondness, the sort that is patient and forgiving, the kind that warms the two of you with hope for tomorrow and for days to come.
Just as you’re about to walk through the velvet curtains, he calls out to you and watches you turn, tilting your head at him. “Thank you, seriously. You helped me learn a lot.”
“I’m glad, because you helped me too, Jin. Have a good night, okay?”
“Okay, good night.”
His heart is full even as you walk out, because there’s hope for the two of you, for the late bloomers, for the geniuses, for the strugglers, for everyone. And with that small ring, he can help out more than just you now.

TURN 1
HELLBENT
The newly manifested hulking beast blinked, taking a short second to survey his surroundings much like Cammy did before he disappeared into the orange light. While those surrounding him were no doubt stunned into inaction by what had just happened, he growled and then let out a deafening roar.
His presence as a threat truly established, he made the first move to confirm that whatever this thing was did not answer to Cammy's will, by swiping at Emmy with the back of his hand.
His other hand slammed down into the ground over Disavow and Besmirch dragging an arc through frozen dirt and snow.
He doesn't stop after there, though. Shifting violently in a 180 degree arc, his tail lashes at Samga while a rush of debris flies towards Omen and Johnny. He has now turned around, and is facing Snowdin.
Alexis, Penny and Avarice have joined the struggle.
See the Struggler’s reactions under the cut!
EMMY @two-littlesouls
... Ca--?" His name was cut off as she was, quite literally, removed from the scene.
Careening through the air into the forest before hitting the snow, the girl rolled a short ways and finally came to a stop. The cloud of fresh powder that had been kicked up left a haze in her wake. From her direction, there was a silence... before she coughed, the wind knocked from her. ...I didn't hit a tree... she thinks in wry relief.
Slowly, from the pile of snow Emmy lifted herself on shaky arms, trying to process the information. Her eyes drifted to the hulking beast, and though she couldn't figure out how or why, she knew it wasn't the end of her best friend. Sucking in a cold breath, the girl willed herself up, running back toward HELLBENT.
The girl slid on her feet a bit as she stopped herself between Hellbent and the path to it's apparent destination. She stared, watching him for his next move.
SAMGA @determinedbuns
Samga saw Johnny was in bad shape. He sprints over to him while many thoughts go through his head, but among them..
"That... That thing, that beast.. what happened just now? Why did Cammy die and turn into that thing?! It's going to destroy Snowdin, it's headed right for town, but.. I can't.. I can't fight that thing, my punches are still weak, and I can't bring out my rage.. I..." The Rabbit's hands tightly clench, "Stupid, that doesn't matter.. THAT DOESN'T MATTER, Do what you CAN do, make sure everyone else is alright.."
He slides over to Johnny, before giving him a vigorous shake on the shoulder to try and snap him out of it. "Johnny... JOHNNY!"
"You were frozen there, wasn't sure if you caught the thousand yard stare, sorry.." He dug into his belt pouch and pulled out a few different Muffins of varying flavors that he had gathered on the way. He knew food always helped him when he was hurting, especially in the Underground, maybe the same could be said for the others? Unbeknownst to Samga, these Muffins, like all other food, contained healing properties! "Here, take yer pick, you look like you could use a pick-me-up.."
JOHNNY @flourishingbatter
At the rabbit's words, he'd easily snap back to the current situation at hand and turn his attention back towards the beast, watching as Besmirch and Disavow planned their move. It wasn't until he realized they were going to attack Cam- ...Specifically the threat as he didn't know what else to do.
Warily, he stood up again, hand motioning for a moment as he summoned the Wrister Blaster, of which he hadn't used in a long time.
Taking aim, he focused to call forth an orb of energy charging at the skeletal maw yet...He hesitated, could he actually have the intent to harm them? Despite everything, he still viewed that creature as Cammy and wouldn't even consider hurting a child.
His reverie snapped as the unknown song he heard caused him to regain his senses. He wouldn't stoop to Besmirch's level, for the matter, he was going to show some amount of restraint and pull his punches. With that in mind, he raised the weapon and blasted the shot towards HELLBENT as the beams raw energy was siphoned from Johnny's soul, it's coloration mixed with JUSTICE.
BESMIRCH and DISAVOW @besmirched @disavcw
The Man who Walks with Words silences himself, allowing a wry smile to take his features.
Ink silently and quickly glides over the snow beneath them, closing the distance and attempting to bring the heft of the CLEAVER down on HELLBENT's left Achilles tendon.
The Woman Who Speaks in ink follows suit, letting silence be their cover, she takes the other side, pooling into various pools of ink to keep herself hidden. If glides across the ground in ink her own CLEAVER ready to attack the right Achilles tendon.
ALEXIS @integrity-dancer
Footsteps could be heard rushing towards the area...and quickly, at that. Those that knew her would quickly recognize Alexis...how and why she was here would be a mystery for the time being. She skidded to a halt upon witnessing the massive form of HELLBENT...the raw, unrestrained DETERMINATION briefly stunning her now that she was closer to 'ground zero' as it were.
"W..what the hell...is that?" Having not witnessed Cammy's initial transformation, she was out of the loop. The only benefit so far from that was that she didn't get whacked or slammed by HELLBENT's initial actions...if that would do any good. She could see some people she knew were here...and some hurt, at that?
It snapped her out of her stunned state, eyes narrowing at the creature.
She couldn't mess around looking for answers right now. Friends were in danger here...and some other people she didn't know. But she could feel it...letting this creature do as it wished could threaten everything. She instantly pulled out her violin, and started playing a song...the AURA SONG of INTEGRITY would bolster everyone's defenses. And hoo boy, given how big that thing looked, and how many people could get hurt, they needed some serious defenses five minutes ago.
She noticed Penny arrive, though...was everyone she knew being drawn towards this beacon of raw DETERMINATION?
PENNY @fearlessfighter
The crunches of footsteps could be heard as Penny ran into the clearing, a look of worry on her face. Her previous feelings of calm from her talk with Ikki all but gone. She hoped, no begged that whatever the lightning was didn't have anything to do with her friends. But it would seem like that hope was wrong, as Penny stopped in the clearing seeing some familiar faces and some unfamiliar ones. Her eyes however were drawn to the giant dog that stood a little ways in front of her. Her eyes widened at the sight and this was without know that it used to be Cammy.
"Oh no..." was all she could say.
AVARICE @thesmilingtragedy
Unfortunately, Avarice was not as lucky as poor Emmy. Various bits and pieces of the smiling man are strewn about the forest surrounding Hellbent. There was little movement, besides the occasional leaf falling from the weight of the snow atop it.
...
CRASH! Suddenly, a pair of legs fall from the trees above, along with a couple parts of a hand! They scurry around, desperately trying to find their own-
OVO H E Y O!! Y O O H O O! The limbs shoot to attention, facing the smiling man's head! Seems he had been perfectly hooked to a tree, a branch poking out of his smile, clearly being the cause for his strange speech. GEMME Y O W FWO H E Y O!
A foot responds, stomping from above and breaking the branch the head was impaled on. As he rolls onto the ground, he spits out the offending branch, getting the barky-taste out of his mouth. B L E G H! Last time I try to e a t a TREE!
The various body parts hop and roll back to their owner, loose strands of his scribbly mass attaching and pulling themselves together. He muses to himself as he gets to work getting stitched back up. ... that's not F A I R... HELLBENT didn't even call for B L O O D Y KNUCKLES...
As he pulls a tattered glove back onto a hand, he pulls himself to standing, rolling his newly knitted joints. He twists his head back around to the correct position, and gives himself a quick loose shake. A A A ! Much b e t t e r!
He looked around, glancing to his surroundings... and the strange glow that peaked through the trees. He wiped a hand over his smile, grinning madly. Now t h e n... if you want to play like T H A T, I'll be HAPPY to return the F A V O R! With that, Avarice begins climbing the trees, swinging and ascending his way back to HELLBENT.

When things go wrong, as they sometimes will, When the road you’re trudging seems all uphill, When the funds are low and the debts are high, And you want to smile, but you have to sigh, When care is pressing you down a bit- Rest if you must, but don’t you quit.
Life is queer with its twists and turns, As every one of us sometimes learns, And many a fellow turns about When he might have won had he stuck it out. Don’t give up though the pace seems slow - You may succeed with another blow.
Often the goal is nearer than It seems to a faint and faltering man; Often the struggler has given up Whe he might have captured the victor’s cup; And he learned too late when the night came down, How close he was to the golden crown. Success is failure turned inside out -
The silver tint in the clouds of doubt, And you never can tell how close you are, It might be near when it seems afar; So stick to the fight when you’re hardest hit - It’s when things seem worst that you must not quit.
This was a poem/picture I got for my mom for Christmas when she was going through some super hard stuff.
Her and my father have been divorced for close to 12 years now and she had to watch us grow up, only seeing us 4 days a month. She had her heart broken more times than I can count and has to raise a little 9 year old who asks her why she doesn’t have a Daddy and why her big sisters and big brother always have to go away all the time. My sister is 9 and has talked about suicide, running away, and is bipolar. Sometimes we have to wrestle knives from her hands when she’s having a tantrum and our whole family seems to be broken.
I’m not trying to get pity, or trying to force my situation on others. I just want you all to know that I am going to fight. I’m not going to give up and if you guys want to talk, to rant or anything. Then you guys can come to me. I won’t judge, I’ll be your shoulder to cry on. Please, don’t give up, don’t quit, know that there are people who love you out there.
(Sorry for the super long post, just had to get that off my chest) (Dedicating this post to Calliope/friendless anon on @windy-scribbles blog. Anon; You are not friendless, I’ll be your friend and i know other people will say the same. Sending my love to you)

West Ham v Cardiff: Low scoring affair on the cards at the London Stadium
(New post on FreeBetAlerts.com) - https://freebetalerts.com/2018/12/03/west-ham-v-cardiff-low-scoring-affair-on-the-cards-at-the-london-stadium/ #Football, #Freebets, #Tips
West Ham v Cardiff: Low scoring affair on the cards at the London Stadium Please share.
West Ham take on Cardiff at the London Stadium on Tuesday night, looking to build on their 3-0 thrashing of Newcastle on Saturday, but will they be able to hammer the improve Bluebirds? Our man’s not so sure they will… “Cardiff restricted both Spurs and Everton well, losing both games 1-0, and they might just prove hard to break down. Over 2 ½ goals is the odds-on jolly in the Over/Under 2.5 Goals market but less than three looks more likely and I’m happy to play Under 2.5 at [2.1].”
West Ham v Cardiff Tuesday 4 December, 19:45Hammers on the rise but can they win back-to-back? After a poor start to the season, which saw West Ham lose their first four games, the Hammers are improving nicely under new manager, Manuel Pellegrini, and they’ve lost just one of their last five (4-0 at home to Manchester City) but that result wasn’t as awful as it looks on paper. The score flattered the champions somewhat and the City boss, Pep Guardiola, even said afterwards that he “had the feeling, we were a little bit lucky”. I’m not sure it’s possible to win so easily and be lucky to do so but City took their chances well and West Ham didn’t. Both sides had nine shots in total and the Hammers had eight corners to City’s one. The league leaders weren’t at their best after the international break but West Ham were much better than the score suggested and it was no surprise to see them get back on track at Newcastle on Saturday, where they won comfortably by three goals to nil.The Magpies had won three in-a-row before Saturday but West Ham took an early lead through Javier Hernandez, who had been recalled to the first team for the first time since October, and the Mexican added a second after the break before man of the match, Felipe Anderson, put the icing on the cake in injury time. The goals are starting to be shared around a bit more now and the heavy reliance on Marco Arnautovic is lessoning. The brilliant Anderson has now scored in three of the last four Premier League games and he’s increasingly looking like a fabulous signing.West Ham are definitely on the rise but they’re still yet to win back-to-back Premier League games this season. Improving Cardiff look to improve record on the road Having looked in big trouble when they went 1-0 down at home to fellow strugglers Fulham towards the end of October, having lost their previous five on the trot, and having not won a game all season, Cardiff have started to show some real grit and determination. The Bluebirds rallied to beat Fulham 4-2 and they’ve since come from behind at home to beat both Brighton and Wolves 2-1. They’re still odds-on to make an immediate return to the Championship but they’ve climbed out of the bottom three for the first time this season after Friday night’s victory against Wolves and their confidence is growing.Finding some resolution at home is one thing but getting results on the road is quite another and so far, they’ve struggled on their travels with a nil-nil draw at Huddersfield at the beginning of the season being the only highlight. They’ve lost five of their six away games to date and they’ve scored just three times. It’s not been a great start but they’ve had some tough assignments. Since a 2-0 defeat at Bournemouth on the opening day of the season, the Bluebirds have been beaten at Chelsea, Spurs, Liverpool and Everton but anything other than a loss in any of those fixtures would have been considered a shock result so there’s an argument to be made that they’re not as bad as their league position suggests. West Ham worthy favs but value lies elsewhereWest Ham deserve to be odds-on after their impressive win at St James’ Park on Saturday but I’m not convinced I want to side with them at such a short price in the outright market. They stuck four past a sorry Burnley a month ago and they beat Manchester United 3-1 at home back in September but in their other five games at the London Stadium they’ve found the back of the net just once, when losing to Bournemouth back in August. The Hammers are far and away the most likely winners and they’ve got a great record against Cardiff – winning their last six encounters in all competitions – but they’ve picked up more points on the road than they have at home this season and there are better opportunities in the side markets… Stoic Cardiff can keep the goal tally downAlthough they haven’t reaped the rewards, Cardiff have been fairly stoic on the road. They lost 4-1 to both Chelsea and Liverpool but they were in front at Stamford Bridge until the 37th minute and it took Liverpool more than an hour to double their lead after a tenth minute Mo Salah strike had given the Reds an early lead at Anfield. Cardiff restricted both Spurs and Everton well, losing both games 1-0, and they might just prove hard to break down. Over 2 ½ goals is the odds-on jolly in the Over/Under 2.5 Goals market but less than three looks more likely and I’m happy to play Under 2.5 at [2.1]. West Ham beat Cardiff 2-0 in both of their Premier League encounters in the 2013/14 season and four of the last six matches between the two sides in all competitions have ended with the Hammers beating the Bluebirds 2-0 so I’m more than happy to have a small wager on that outcome at [10.0].Same Game MultiIf you fancy combining two or more scenarios to build a bet that pays handsomely, click on the Same Game Multi tab at the top of the Sportsbook market and pick two or more selections to build a wager. For example, West Ham to win and Felipe Anderson to score again pays £4.62 for £1 stake and Anderson to score and 2-0 West Ham pays a juicy £27.33 for a £1 stake.

I started writing at like 3:00 AM and these are my thoughts.. sorry its kinda long
Hello, my fellow strugglers. If you have found your way to this page, congrats I guess. I won't be sharing this link with anyone and have decided to keep who I am 100% anonymous. I really don't know what I'm doing, I was feeling down and wanted to talk about all my shit but I ran into three problems...
1) It's about 3 AM so no one is awake.
2) Even if people were awake, I don't have anyone to talk to, yes I have friends and people who care but let's be real, do they really give a fuck? Would they give me any advice that I haven't already thought of?
3) All of my shit is confidential, no one in my life knows all the fucking shit I have going on, and they aren't about to find out.
So instead of ranting on my finsta just for no one to comment, or texting my friends a long ass paragraph about why I'm upset just for them to say "aw I'm sorry" then continue with their gossip, I decided to make this fucking blog. Don't ask me where I got the idea because I don't know. I guess I like the idea of being able to talk to the world about all my damn problems without anyone actually knowing who I am.
I probably have about one thousand things to bitch about but of course, the thing that has me up into the late hours of the night is a boy. Man oh man, I don't even know where to start, but since I got a while and don't wanna go to bed, I'll tell you everything. (This dude has been a problem in my life for over a year now, so I will most definitely skip over something on accident but just go with it). I don't wanna put any real names online because ya know... digital footprint or whatever so I'm gonna call him "Rocket".
Okay so it all started about a year ago, I was at an extremely lame party and found myself sitting quietly in the basement of some person's house on a couch with no one I knew. Now lots of people were bored so as the night went by, more and more people started to crowd together away from the twerk fest. This is when I met Rocket. Since the couch was so packed, we were forced to sit right next to each other, thigh against thigh, shoulders overlapping, ya know what I'm saying? So with nothing better to do, we started to talk, and pretty soon I figured out that he is the sweetest, most funny person I've ever met.
>>>>>> Sidenote, at this point I had only kissed two people in my entire life, and neither of them was my choice. So I was kinda awkward when it came to stuff like that so I didn't pick up on any of the hints that he might want a hookup. I missed the constant eye contact, I missed the gentle touching (not sexual but you know what I mean), I missed the compliments, I thought he was just a nice guy. Man, I wish I picked up on it, I wish I'd kissed him, I wish I flirted harder, why was I so fucking idiotic?? <<<<<<<
Back to the story. I went home that night with Rocket on my mind. A few days later my good friend (that happened to be dating Rocket's best friend) told me that Rocket wanted to hook up with me. Bet you can't guess what my dumb ass did. I FUCKING SAID NO!! I guess at that time I thought that if you hooked up with someone that made you a slut, dumb dumb dumb dumb me. Little did I know that this little hook up comment from my friend was completely wrong. Remember how I said my friend was dating Rockets bestie? Well, I guess Rocket told his bestie that he LIKED ME... not wanted to hook up... he liked me. I'm not sure where it got mixed up but this information went from Rocket to his bestie to my friend. So after I declined his so-called hookup request he moved on, but oh my loooorddddyyyy I still had a crush on him.
Fast forward in time a bit, somehow through the course of like 5 weeks my friends and his friends mixed and we became a friend group... TERRIFIC... So our new group hung out damn near every day of every weekend. I was forced to be with the guy that I had the BIGGEST crush on 24/7 while he had no idea, and treated me like "a bro". This is what I like to call my own personal hell. But wait, it gets so much fucking worse.
For this to make sense I kind of have to loop back in time, so let's pretend this is one of those scenes in the movies where the video freezes then the narrator starts talking and it cuts to a flashback.
Flashback:
 {I happen to be a cheerleader, and oh my goodness if you're about to judge me for it I will fucking murder you. Let's stop the stereotypes... no, I'm not a bitch, not popular, not dumb, not a fucking blond. During practice I got really close with my teammate... let's call her Mouse. The whole time I liked Rocket, I told Mouse everything about it, whenever he did something sweet, something mean, if he hugged me, anything and everything. Okay now that you know this little piece of information, let's cut back to the story.}
Hmm bet you can't guess who else started to like Rocket. Bet you would never think that my cheerleader friend would stab me in the back and go for the guy that I've been telling her about for months. Bet you thought that stuff only happened in the movies. Well, guess what, you're wrong. I'm sure your thinking, it can't get worse, your friend already broke the girl code, your boy story doesn't get worse right? Wrong. Rocket fucking decided to like her back. WHAT THE FUCK. Remember how we are in a friend group? Guess who got to hear about everything Rocket had to say about Mouse. This girl!! lol guess who's a dumb bitch and didn't say anything to either of them. This girl!! Guess who actually gave her crush good advice about his new chick. This girl!! Guess who played cupid in their little fucking love story. This girl!! Guess whose life is a living hell. This girl!!
Let's fast forward a bit to a little peaceful time in my story where Rocket's little fling with Mouse has finally ended. During this time, I actually had hope, this kid would flirt with me, hug me from the back and everything. His friends or as he would say "bros" told me he liked me. Then one day after we snapchatted for legit hours back and forth, he said something that just fuckin broke my heart. (We were literally doing so well, and I actually thought we had a chance. UGH!) He texted me and goes "hey [insert his cute nickname for me here], I heard that you like me but I don't wanna be all that".
WHAT THE FUCKING FUCK YOU DICKWAD!?!?!? WHATTTTT WHY THE FUCK WOULD YOU LEAD ME ON FOR SO LONG IF YOU HAD NO INTENTION OF BEING WITH ME!?!?!?
Like any normal person, I replied with something along the lines of "lol idk where you heard that but I don't like you" then being the asshat that he is he went on saying that he didn't believe me and that he could tell I liked him. Okay, I know this shouldn't have made me so pissed but at this moment he was being such a cocky little asshole and I was embarrassed, so I told him I liked some guy from a high school near ours. For my lie to work I had to pretend it wasn't a lie, so naturally, I told all my gals to go along with it and they did. My little fib was kinda successful, but the truth always comes out...
Suprise, this part of the story takes place at another party. I guess one of my dude friends in my friend group (let's call him Rainbow) saw me admiring Rocket from a distance (oops, I couldn't help it, this guy is seriously just so cute). So while I was talking to one of my guy friends (not in squad) Rainbow came up to us and shouted "YOU STILL LIKE ROCKET". . . FUCK YOU RAINBOW!!!  Now the kid I was talking to was completely surprised and wouldn't let it go, even though I insisted that Rainbow was wrong and that I liked my made up, guy. Guess who walked up to us as we were talking about it... FUCKING ROCKET!
So the guy I was talking to shouts "Hey Rocket, [insert my name here] likes you!!!" Dude seriously like what the hell. I was completely embarrassed. I started to get hot, my forehead started to bead with sweat, I could feel my face getting bright red. If I tried to lie my way out, no one would believe me. So I stood there for what seemed like forever just trying to think of how to make my little personal hell end and all I came out with was "no". You wanna know what Rocket said? He goes "I know she does". EEEERRRRRGGGGG I fucking liked him so much but oh my goodness I hated him too. So that was that for a while, just me living in embarrassment every time I saw him, getting all red whenever he entered the room. He made me feel so small like I was wrong for liking him- sorry your so perfect and I can't help but be obsessed with you.
After some time everyone forgot about me liking him, and I guess I learned to hide it a lot better. Because oh baby, those feelings did not go away. So he started to treat me like a bro again and telling me about the girls he liked. Guess who he liked again? Mouse. So being the good person that I am, I gave him advice about her, I sucked it up because I wanted him to be happy. If that meant he wasn't with me, whatever. If she made him happy, I would help it happen. Like all high school relationships, it didn't last and they ended their thing.
Now he decided to move onto another girl I cheered with, so I helped him with it and go her to like him because I'm just that good of a person. Damn, why do I always sabotage myself?
So after his short-lived thing with the other cheerleader (dang I guess he has a type),  he started flirting with me again. Okay, I know I've mistaken someone being nice with flirting before, but this time I was sure. He would snap me saying I was pretty, text me when he was bored, ask me to hang out one on one, play truth or truth over the phone. I thought that my hell was finally ending, I thought maybe just maybe I would get to be happy. So one night we were up late talking to each other he started to ask who I liked (bitch, its youuuu), I didn't wanna tell him so I would just say I wouldn't tell or I didn't know. Then I would ask who he liked, and he replied the same way, which made me pretty excited. So after a while of going back and forth, he said "[insert my nickname here], just tell me, what if we like each other?" You can imagine how happy I was. I don't know if I've ever smiled so big before. I was kicking my feet in excitement, I had so much energy, I was the happiest girl alive. I replied with "you first". Prepare yourself for a lifetime of let down, because he replied with "I like Mouse".
WHAT THE FUCK YOU CAN'T DO THAT, THIS IS WRONG, REWIND TIME, THIS CAN'T BE REAL. WHY OH WHY WOULD SOMEONE SAY THAT. YOU CAN'T SUGGEST THAT YOU LIKE ME THEN GO BACK TO THAT FUCKING BTICH. WHAT THE FUCK DUDE.
My heart sank, I could actually feel that red beating thing in my chest drop. I had so much excitement and I was so happy, then one fucking snap chat took it all away. Why does Mouse get him, what makes her so much better than me that he would keep going back to her? Was it because she was prettier, would she put out faster than me, was it the way she dressed, was she funnier, nicer? Please fucking tell me. I replied and said that I liked a kid from camp, now this kid wasn't made up, and I did talk to him a lot, enough for him to be on my best friends list, but he lived in Chicago, so nothing would ever actually happen with that. After this little heartbreak, I vowed to myself to never like Rocket again. He would never stop stringing me along, and he would always pick someone better than me.
At this point, I actually did get over Rocket. I didn't spend my nights thinking of kissing him, I didn't fantasize about us going on dates, he was out of my mind. The only thing is that there was no one else for me to like. No one compared to him, no one related to me as much as him. No one caught my eye. So I spent a long while, just single, and I got very bored. I got mini crushes on people during this time, but I never acted on them, and they were always very short lived, maybe one night I'll write about those too.
Fast forward. Rocket went out of town for almost all of summer because his dad lives in Florida. I'm not sure how it happened but we started snap chatting again. But I promise I didn't like him. We snapped about everything, like good friends would do. We talked about his family, what he wanted to do when he grew up, how he kind of still liked Mouse, how he was over Mouse, where he wanted to travel, everything. We had so much in common. For example, our love for sunsets was crazy, I had never met anyone that felt that same way as me when it came to colorful skies (I'll probably write about this more in-depth sometime). We even had the same favorite color: orange. So somehow in the midst of all of our snapping, another crush started to form, but this time it was different. I really knew him, I thought I understood him, we could talk forever about anything.
Then one night we were chatting and a very familiar topic came up. Who did we like? The conversation went the same way as the other times, both of us refusing to tell each other who we liked. {As a point of reference, I would like to point out that this happened about 3 days ago}. This time, he said something like "I think I like you, but I'm not 100% sure, over the past few days I've started to get feelings for you". I honestly didn't believe what I was reading, I was so sure that it was going to be like the last time. I was happy, but it wasn't like last time. I knew this kid, and I knew that this probably wasn't real, so I didn't let myself get overexcited again. I replied with something along the lines of "yeah, that's how I feel, I'm not really sure if I do or don't because we haven't seen each other in so long". I let myself get excited when he started talking about hanging out, just us.
Two nights ago, he came back to our hometown and went to hang with his bros, which I understand 100% because ya know 'bros before hoes'. Okay, this is about to get kind of confusing so I'm gonna do another one of those rewind things.
>>>>> Within our squad a couple formed, Rainbow and let's call the girl Hippie. I might write about this whole thing sometime but for now, I'll give you guys a summary. After lots of drama Rainbow and Hippie started to date but the relationship was bad so they broke up, and it was ugly, making things within our group very awkward. So Rainbow was an OG member of our squad so the bros are more loyal to him and took his side. They started being mean to Hippie, I always stood up for her and tried to include her, but after a while, the boys started to kick her out of the group because she was doing mean things to Rainbow. She got invited to less and fewer events and then she eventually left our group chat. The boys had a running joke about how she smelled bad (she does kinda smell but I hate that they talk bad about it). Another thing you need to know is that Rainbow was out of town during the point of the story that we are about to get back into. Now you have enough information for me to get back to the story.<<<<<
So Rocket was with his pals and Rainbow texted in our group chat saying he wanted to add her back in, and all of them complained and started sending memes about her. I texted in it telling them to stop and for Rainbow to add Hippie back in. Hippie was indeed added back in and when she was, some of the bros replied to it by saying "fuckkkk". They started sending memes encouraging her to leave the chat once again, and Rocket just let this happen, he even joined in on sending the memes. She left the chat again and I think she was really upset by it. Now, this might not sound like a big deal but it honestly pissed me off. I know some of Rocket's friends are mean, but that's never been him, he has always stood up for people or at least stayed quiet. This wasn't the Rocket that I had grown to like.
To make matters worse, once he got to his friend's houses, he left me on open, and I've been on open ever since. I know I'm being all bitchy and this stuff is not even a big deal but honestly, it has me pissed off.
If you've gotten this far into this post I'm very impressed because it was a whole lot of fucking teenage drama. You're also probably thinking that I'm petty and that these aren't even big problems. You are right. However, I've never had a real boyfriend, so this stuff is kinda big to me. Comment your thoughts on this, and tell me, should I go for Rocket?

Fulham v Bournemouth: Cherries can pick off freefalling Fulham Please share.
Eddie Howe’s Bournemouth travel to London in search of their fourth away win in six against a struggling Fulham side desperate to halt a slide. Read Steve Rawlings’ take on Saturday’s encounter here… “Fulham fans will be desperate to see a reaction to last week’s sorry defeat in Wales but Cardiff scored as many last Saturday against Fulham as they’d scored in their previous eight Premier League games this season and Bournemouth have to be the play at an industry-wide best of 6/4.”

Heavy investment hasn’t prevented Fulham freefall
Fulham fans can’t possibly bemoan the amount of investment in the squad following their playoff victory against Aston Villa last season. Almost £100m was spent before the new Premier League season began and it’s quite possible that they may even have overinvested.
Including loan signings, 14 players joined the club in the summer and understandably, it seems to be taking manager, Slavisa Jokanovic, a long time to sort out his team. Multiple changes are being made before each game and we’ve seen both a back-three and a back-four tried in defence but nothing’s really worked.
Fulham have lost six of their opening nine Premier League fixtures, conceding 25 goals on the way! That’s six more than anyone else in the division and the highest number after nine games since Southampton conceded 26 in 2012. They’re only victory came against an out-of-form Burnley at home in August and they’ve let in at least two goals in eight of their nine games to date. A 1-5 thrashing at home to Arsenal was followed by a 4-2 defeat to fellow strugglers, Cardiff, last weekend and they appear to be getting worse instead of better. Fulham are in freefall and they’re already in big trouble.
A combination of a team not yet gelling and gung-ho Championship-style tactics have resulted in a terrible start that’s gone from bad to worse and Jokanovic is challenging Jose Mourinho for favouritism in the Next Manager to Leave market.
Positive signs for blossoming Bournemouth
Despite a somewhat disappointing stalemate with south coast rivals, Southampton, last week, Bournemouth’s campaign has started really nicely and they’re already up to sixth.
Their 4-0 defeat at Burnley last month has to be considered one of the most bizarre results of the season so far and the only other team to beat the Cherries this term is Chelsea – 2-0 at Stamford Bridge at the beginning of September.
Bournemouth’s good run isn’t anything new and it stretches back to the end of last season. The Burnley and Chelsea defeats are the only two experienced since April and they’ve won seven of their last 11 in the Premier League.
The Cherries’ tally of 16 points from nine games is nine more than they’d accrued this time last season and a couple of things will please the gaffer, Eddie Howe, in particular. Although they finished as high as 12th, only three teams conceded more goals than Bournemouth last season so back-to-back clean sheets for the first time in almost a year is a huge plus and so to is the fact that they’ve now won three of their last five on the road.
Cherries the value at a juicy 6/4
This is the first time these two sides have met in the Premier League but outside of the top-fight Bournemouth have had the upper hand, losing just two of their last 16 encounters and winning nine.
Fulham fans will be desperate to see a reaction to last week’s sorry defeat in Wales but Cardiff scored as many last Saturday against Fulham as they’d scored in their previous eight Premier League games this season and Bournemouth have to be the play at an industry-wide best of 6/4.
Goals expected but value thin on the ground
A total of 36 goals have been scored and conceded in Fulham’s first nine Premier League ties and while not quite as high as Fulham’s 4, Bournemouth’s average of 3.11 goals scored and conceded per game is high enough. All nine of Fulham’s Premier League ties have seen at least two goals and seven of the nine have produced at least three, so it’s perfectly understandable why Over 2 ½ Goals is a long odds-on shot – especially when considering that six of Bournemouth’s nine ties have seen at least three goals too, but I’m a little reticent to rush in.
The Cherries keeping two clean sheets in-a-row could be a sign of a more pragmatic approach from Howe and I can’t believe that Jokanovic hasn’t worked all week to try and plug the gaps. Whether he’s capable of turning it around is yet to be seen but it’s no secret that these two sides produce goal-rich encounters and the markets are priced up accordingly.
I can’t pretend I wasn’t tempted by the odds-against for Over 3 ½ Goals but Fulham/Bournemouth in the Half Time/Full Time market looks a juicier proposition. Fulham have started well before getting pegged back a few times this season and 64% of their goals have come in the first half. An early goal by the hosts isn’t out of the question but I can see Bournemouth overcoming any early deficit and they came from behind to win away at West Ham in August having been 1-0 down at the break so there might just be a bit of value in that outcome.
Same Game Multi
If you fancy combining two or more scenarios to build a bet that pays a bit more, click on the Same Game Multi tab at the top of the Sportsbook market and pick two or more selections to build a wager. For example, Bournemouth to win and Ryan Fraser to score pays £6.34 for a £1 stake, Bournemouth to win and Bournemouth to score Over 2.5 Goals pays £4.59 for £1 stake, and if you combine all three it pays £9.76.
