okayokayokayokay but actually!!!!!!! but also it all feels so different? Like I stopped watching DW towards the end of Matt Smith and had had rly mixed feelings abt a lot of the changes and the way the story was going/being written (I could have drafted a 10pg essay on my issues with Moffat becoming head writer, and I lost steam rly quickly after that), and I want so so so do badly to return to Who, I feel like there have been good things I've missed and that this next season is going to be so fun esp with Davies coming back, but fuuuuuuuuck I put so many years and so many feelings into that show and and like .. idk ... returning to a show that I loved (and love) so deeply is super scary? And emotionally overwhelming???

OKAY AND LIKE ALSO @ "want to watch them 20+ yrs old" I want to badly to watch some of the new star wars shit that's come out, but I've become so exhausted by the sequel after sequel after two part sequel of every fucking thing that had ever existed while also the quality of those same movies have just gone down hill and the people making everything happen are overworked and underpaid and everything feels like a cash grab rather than a passion project addition to a beloved series?????????????????

honestly it's been too long since i got overly invested in some weird old scifi show. i miss it.
