Hai quick question, do you think Hex Nail/Hurting Teddy Bear fits Bella? I mostly thinking abt it bein similiar to Sinclair, ruined childhood(?) and all. But I wanna know yer thoughts.

seeing the egos it has, id call her more similar to faust rather than sinclair. sinclair's "you refuse to look at me because i'm hurt? then see what it's like to feel my pain then" is within her, but it's rare. (for example, the red shoes does focus on bella's hatred for her circumstances - but it can only reach that rage so well by disregarding, and therefore lacking, all guilt.)

bella does feel animosity towards her circumstances, but it's usually overshadowed or like. kept down with self-blame and "it's a necessary evil. it was just preparing me for the cruel world ahead of me." (and more minorly, "it benefitted others, too, so i shouldnt be ungrateful...")

so for hex nail, i dont think that like buried rage/hatred would come through - instead, it'd focus on how her pain has defined her. she would act naturally and seek love and connection, unaware that the abuse she's suffered affects her ability to love and keep relationships/connect with others now. like faust, neither of them seem aware that the nails lodged in their bodies will hurt others, perhaps because they can't feel the pain - they're used to their circumstances and see them as normal. so they don't understand why they keep being disregarded or abandoned.

also, the mirror dungeon event with the abno is very bella as well. i read that and went yep. yep thats her.
