i love annie cresta so much it’s insane! i know there’s not even a full page of information/appearances from her from all the books combined, but from the glimpses we do get of her, she is so strong and resilient while still being so sweet and compassionate and i think that’s such an amazing combo! also shoutout to her for (at least from what katniss tells us) not socking johanna for the “snows mutts killed him” scene. she’s stronger than all of us fr

with that being said, theres so little info about her that i’m struggling to find things i dislike about her personally, so ill just do a cop out and say that i wish we knew more about her recovery. we know she’s (obviously) capable of being a fully functioning human being without finnick, like when she went all the way to freshly bombed d12 with no one but katniss and a ragtag gang of capitol stylists, but i wish we knew what that looked like on a larger scale. being away from finnick long enough to find a wedding dress that fits her is one thing, having an entire kid and a dead husband is another, and i think she would have really, really struggled with that. enough for her kid to develop some trust issues, at least, which of course wouldn’t be her fault but. you know. there is something to be said about the responsibility you have to your child’s safety and security as a parent
