this may seem irrelevant to most people but it’s weirdly important to me. it bothers me so much because it feels SO out of line with rui’s character and there’s no good reason for him to ever have been doing that??? he’s only ever wanted to put on shows together with people, and he’s been seen as a weirdo for his risky ideas even though he tried his best to always make sure no one would get hurt. but in WHAT WORLD does him waterboarding people align with that??? like ma’am waterboarding is a fucking TORTURE METHOD that can literally kill someone, why the FUCK would a high schooler who just wants to put on shows ever do that???? to anyone?????? it bothers me especially because i feel it feeds into that whole cannibal rui/rui is a psychopath mischaracterization i’ve seen online and at least to me??? it makes no sense for his character. rui’s just a silly high schooler who wants to put on shows and hates vegetables :(

anyway google failed me, it gave me a link to tiktok but that link was a link to rui slander that just mentioned him waterboarding people, so wish me luck guys i’m quite literally looking in pretty much every single older side story/event story/area conversation that features nene to figure out if that mythical dialogue of nene saying rui waterboards people even fucking exists

on my hands and knees asking for wherever nene says rui waterboards people bc i have seen people joke about it everywhere and i’ve seen it on the wiki BUT I WILL NOT BELIEVE IT UNTIL I SEE THE ACTUAL FUCKING AREA CONVERSATION OR WHEREVER IT SUPPOSEDLY IS

wait guys remember the "character that is mildly interesting ti think about but i dont like their fans" snd i said rui i'd like to add on to that

rui is very interesting to me bcuase he's actually very relatable to me in that he was alienated from a young age for being strange but i will probably never read a single of his focus event stories because wxs fans ruined the unit for me ESPECIALLY the ruikasa fans. dont get me wrong i can see how ruikasa works and is a good dynamic but everyoneeeee was talking about ruikasa this ruikasa that and it annoyed me so much. i mostly dont like wxs because of tsukasa and i mostly dont like tsukasa because he's like. ok. meh. some guy. but his fans make his whole character suchhhh a big deal its sooooo annoying. but what REALLY pissed me off was when people would compare him to mafuyu or put him in n25. one of these things is not like the other!!! n25 is a group of messed up suicidal artists making music together for, when you boil it down, kanade's saviour complex. tsukasa tenma overworked himself in 1 (one) event story to be a better actor. he likes smiling and having fun. this isn't to say he has no depth but he is not the same type of character as mafuyu. their stories are inherently different and he is not mentally ill. so basically a large number of people over exaggerating him and being annoying about it made me hate him so much i feel disgust at seeing his name. and then him being so heavily connected to rui made me dislike rui by association. also the whole creepy face thing is not for me.
