11. describe your ideal day. mm im not sure i can!! it depends on my mood and my surroundings and, i don’t know, the version of me that exists at that moment?? i guess?? i can say it would probably include some number of the following: listen to good music, possibly while driving, hanging out with my family like having family dinner or something, mmm maybe watching a tv show i like, good snacks, lots of tea, maybe alex gaskarth would be present. i don’t know! 

15. five most influential books over your lifetime. 

a little princess by frances hodgson burnett no doubt (surprise surprise lol), sara crewe taught me how to be a selfless person and to give people the benefit of the doubt and how to check your privilege and.......yeah

oh this is a weird one and i honestly wouldn’t have thought of it if i hadn’t just glanced at my bookshelf out of nowhere but spilling ink by anne mazer and ellen potter. i read it when i was like. probably thirteen? and ive retained a handful of things from it but the main thing is that the book recommends keeping a journal (as a way to become a better writer) so i started keeping a journal and now, fffffive or six (?) years later, i STILL keep a journal and it’s the best thing i couldve done for myself honestly

the paradox of vertical flight by emil ostrovski. just because......i mean, it’s one of my favorite books. it taught me something about philosophy. and also i just like it lol

i am having some difficulty with this question actually wtf why have i not been influenced by books??? okay well i’m gonna say anything by john green here, maybe specifically an abundance of katherines just bc that’s my favorite (or turtles all the way down) because his writing style really, really inspires me to write. like...if i was going to be a writer, i’d want to be like john green. and i fucking love reading his writing

yknow what? lauren yanofsky hates the holocaust by leanne lieberman. BECAUSE the main character of this book (lauren yanofsky lol) has views on judaism and being jewish that are so insanely similar to mine it’s crazy. would you believe i don’t see myself (specifically my judaism) reflected in a lot of media? so this book was..........yeah. ALSO i used it as a source for my final paper in one of my classes last year lol

17. would you say your tumblr is a fair representation of the “real you”? mmmmm yes and no? well, assuming we’re talking about THIS tumblr, not like any tumblr i have........it’s complicated i guess? it represents my CHARACTER very well, i think. but it doesn’t do a great job showcasing all the various things i am interested in and love. like, since this is a 5sos (/atl) blog, that’s the majority of what goes on here, which is cool !! i love those things. but it does disproportionately represent how much i like those things compared to other things in my life that i like just as much but that you wouldn’t guess (unless you were a dedicated follower and had seen me enthusiastically talking about the nationals or musical theatre or writing music and playing guitar or acappella or, you know). but that’s cool !! it’s cool with me !! like it’s not that anyone is STOPPING me talking about those things (and i DO talk about them, a lot, lmao), it’s just not the point of the blog, which i knew when i made it. so in short: yes and no dghkjdfsghklgmsj
