Anon, I have to be up front with you: I understood roughly 10% of your last ask and I follow even less of this one. With the last one, I got that you were saying "I'm bad at some kinds of math" so that was the part I responded to; I get with this one you're saying you're good at other kinds, and I'm glad you're enjoying those other kinds of math, but I am unfortunately bad at every kind of math, so if you're trying to communicate anything else I'm not going to be able to understand it. No fault of yours, and really no fault of mine; you are just speaking a language I can't learn, let alone understand as-is.

I did have a teacher try to show me how to use an abacus once, I think because he felt I would do better if I had something physical to manipulate. After about an hour he looked at me amusedly, said "We finally found something you're bad at," and let me go back to my book. Wish the rest of the world had his serenity about it.

I just got an ask from someone who claims to have been abused by a narcissistic parent. They have said they don't really understand why narc abuse is a bad term I guess. Or they said they see the points on both sides. But they've also said Narcissists have a specific kind of abuse or traits that are only seen in their kind of abuse which is so frustrating and then they said that they see the argument against narc abuse as "I don't like this so you have to stop because I'm better than you".. and it's so fucking annoying because I literally had a rant about why narc abuse is bad in one of my recent posts (which I'm assuming they read) and that was NOT at all a point there.

It's so annoying but they've also said they're genuinely confused and want help but I don't think I can "help" them without becoming aggressive because this shit is genuinely triggering me ((I might already be triggered because I've been trying to find screenshots of endos harassing anti endos to prove a point for a post I'm making on @/antimisinfo but yeah, this has made it worse)) and idk.

I don't want to be rude or mean to them because they seem genuinely curious but I can't read that ask without wanting to cry, without getting angry. I haven't even read it completely, I skimmed through it and I just feel so fucking frustrating and stressed and.. idk.

Wanna start by saying that the shit the anon said is, and I hate to say it, utter bs. Anyone can use any sort of abuse. There's not things only narcs can do abuse wise. Even a google search just shows that they manipulate and gaslight and lie, aka what emotional/verbal/mental abuse is!!!

Don't doubt that the person was abused but narc abuse does NOT exist. If you'd like, we're offering to find some sort of way to help you respond to it, even if it's in a DM sharing the ask so we can provide a potential response (/nf ofc!! Just saying that as an example)

Our honest best advice is just delete it. You've made it known on AEV that narc abuse isn't real. They should be willing to just listen instead of arguing like that.

I am sorry for the anon who requested this but here it is (I am also sorry for being absent again): HELLO! I rlly like how you write for the FNAF Nightmares, so may I request the nightmares reacting to the reader like, caring for them? Like giving them food,(if they can even eat) offering to clean them, and such. Please and thank you! <3 This was the request and here is the headcanon for it! I hope you guys like it!

How the Nightmare Animatronics react if a human cares about them:

Fandom: Five Nights at Freddy's 4 Characters: Nightmare Animatronics TW: Not proof read, swear words, mentions of blood etc

Let's start with the question about if they can eat. To make it short: No, they cannot eat in the way a normal human can. Their Animatronic bodies aren't made to digest food like we do. But, if they have a human form, then they can. Not that they need to, tho.

Nightmare Bonnie:

Okay, so first of, congratulation that you aren't dead, yet. Nightmare Bonnie is, like almost every Bonnie, more on the aggressive side. He is also the cruelest one of all the existing Bonnies. I should also clarify that all the Nightmare Animatronics are huge. Like, really huge. You thought the normal ones are huge? Then imagine them double the size (I still don't know how they fit through doors sometimes, but maybe sideways lol). Alright, back to the main issue. So, one of the humans in the family they hunt got closer to them. At first, Nightmare Bonnie thought they were complete idiots and honestly, no offense there. Who would even try to get closer to killer Animatronics? So, imagine the reaction of Nightmare Bonnie when they offered to wash him. Because he reeks? And is dirty? Like, duh. He is killing people, ripping them apart and what not. Sure he is reeking and dirty. Heck, he is even halfway apart at some parts of his Body. The first time they offered he just stared at them. His eyes unblinking. A few twitches here and there from his head before he went back into the darkness of the house. The human calling after him. This happened the next times they offered. He was a bit weirded out. It was something different than the normal reactions he got. The Animatronic was uncertain what he should do now. The human certainly is stubborn and it also seems like they managed to get closer to the rest of the group. After he continue to refuse the bath, they tried to offer him food and other things like, repairing them. As if he needs food or a repair. He is functional the way he is. Nightmare Bonnie would scoff at some point and be downright annoyed by the human.

Nightmare Chica:

Nightmare Chica is, to make it short, a bitch. Like Nightmare Bonnie, she was confused first. Like, really confused. What the hell does the human want? Why aren't they scared? They are about to die but they are offering a bath? And food? Nightmare Chica will be offended if they say she reeks! It's not like it is a lie tho and she knows that, still, rude! She would be so mad about it that she would either increase her nightly visits and scared or she would not show up and just go on a full rampage in the kitchen. And with full rampage I mean full rampage. Not just a few thrown pots and pans. I talk about throwing the microwave at the oven and all. Hopefully they are rich because this, will be a new nightly issue. She will calm down a while and the next time she is offered a bath, she would actually agree. But not with good intentions. Nightmare Chica will fully take advantage of the situation. Scaring the shit out of the human. Maybe cause a few injuries here and there, but nothing serious. She may be a bitch, but she hadn't had a bath in like forever and mayyyyybe she does enjoy it. Not that she would ever say this. But secretly, she does like getting a bit cared for. Unlike the other Animatronics like the Toy ones, the Nightmares only get coddled in their plushform but even their it is rare because most of the time, they are in possession of little kids and well, little kids aren't that careful most of the time.

Nightmare Foxy:

While Nightmare Foxy may appear as vicious and dangerous, which he is, he is more a overgrown dog sometimes. Even Nightmare Foxy has enough at one point to get the closet shut in his face. He wants to get out of this damn thing. He growled loudly, fixing the door. He hears how the human is running around because of the others so he just waits till they forget him and than he jump them and finally, get out of this damn closet! But alas, the human, mistakes his growl for a rumbling stomach. If he is hungry, they ask. Nightmare Foxy blinks at the door. Sure, he is hungry in a kind of way but not a way human food could still. Even if he is hungry, why would they offer him food when he wants to kill them? He gets curious. Wanting to know what they would offer. Maybe it would still his appetite? Curiosity gets the better of him and he slowly peeks out of the closet. Looking at the human who, in return, backed a few steps back. His huge claws opened the closet slowly, revealing his even taller frame. His head get out first, looking at the human who is holding food. They certainly meant it when they offered it. Foxy snatched the food from them. Eating it, even though it did nothing except maybe giving his inner circuits problems. They even offered him a bath! He did heard from Nightmare Chica, that she also got a bath. Maybe a bath wouldn't be bad? If even Nightmare Chica got one? It kinda sounds nice, so he did agree for a bath. Unlike Nightmare Chica, Nightmare Foxy would be sitting still, watching the human with curious eyes which would creep the shit out of them.

Nightmare Freddy:

Ah yes, Nightmare Freddy. More as often, the Freddy Animatronics are the leader of the group but this Group does not have a fixed leader. They are the most independent ones but he is able to subdue some a bit. His reaction to being cared about is a mix between Nightmare Bonnie and Nightmare Chica. He agrees with Nightmare Bonnie, thinking the human isn't the most intelligent one. Trying to care about Killingmachines with no real emotions. Not that it would really safe them from the death that awaits them. It would only delay their death. He would be suspicious, not understanding their way of thinking. When Nightmare Chica and Nightmare Foxy let them do, what they offered, ending with Nightmare Foxy needing to get his stomach opened to clean the shit he ate, he considered to take advantage of the human to have a bit more fun before they kill them. Here comes the part were he resembles Nightmare Chica. He accepted their offer, to get their hopes up, just to crush them. In various ways. Hurting them, not moving, ignoring them. He actually enjoys the different facial expressions they made and the way the get mad, anxious or even frustrated with his behavior. But unlike Nightmare Chica, he wouldn't let the human get actually that close to his body. You never know if this isn't maybe a trick from them.
