AT LEAST THE STORY WOULD SORTA MAKE MORE SENSE WITH THOSE CHARACTERS

Theseus gets trapped in the underworld and ariadne makes a deal with Hades to let him go ONLY FOR THESEUS TO LEAVE HER TO MARRY HER SISTER

And Meg and ariadne are sooo similar, Like risking everything to save the man you love only to have him abandon you for another woman

And that version of Hercules also reminds me of Dionysus in a way with him having to prove he's worthy to make it back to his rightful place on olympus, and him not feeling like he belongs in the place he is only to go on a journey of discovery

Also “Won't say I'm in love” is such an ariadne song

Especially the lyrics "I thought my heart had learned its lesson It feels so good when ya start out My head is screaming "get a grip, girl!" "Unless you're dying to cry your heart out!"

And replace Pegasus with a leopard

dean rebuilding the impala from the ground up. cas remaking dean on the atomic level after pulling him from the pit. jimmy novak’s body is destroyed when cas dies yet he returns in a simulacrum of his favored vessel. like yes, sure, the ship of theseus… but does it really matter whether or not it’s the same as before? is it not also about all the ways in which we are transformed by love? to be loved is to be changed, after all. when cas says you changed me, dean, he’s also saying you loved me, dean. you know???

big fan of hades game theseus. don't understand how anyone could hate him really hes quite hilarious. but i am also incredibly partial to characters that are obscenely obnoxious, blatantly annoying and overly prideful
