You know those posts of trans people being really rude and aggressive after getting misgendered, and then all the comments are defending the person who misgendered them or trans people saying they don’t associate with trans people like that or aren’t like that themselves? I’m gonna be honest, I’m on the trans person side; like I get that being rude isn’t really gonna help anyone, but why should we be condemning them for having the confidence to stand up for themselves.

I’m not saying every trans person is alway right or that trans people shouldn’t be held accountable for their behavior, but as someone who allows almost every single person to misgender me, I’m happy that they can be so open about their identity.

And I know that, yeah the other person might have just not known and maybe they don’t even know what transgender means, and I know the first trans person they meet blowing up at them probably doesn’t give them the best impression on trans people, but it’s not every trans person’s job to hold others’ hands and teach them what transgender means.

If someone called a person of color a slur but didn’t know it was a slur and the PoC got really angry about it, would you really blame them? Would you expect them to be ok with it and gently educate the other person why that hurt them?

(Also, Google exists, you very easily google what transgender means, you can probably even use the most offensive, ignorant, transphobic terms and eventually find out what transgender means.)

Any half decent person wouldn’t take their first and only interaction with someone of a group as a basis of how all people in that group are.

I don’t dislike TERFs because I met one once and they were mean to me, I dislike them because every single one of them, by definition, think I shouldn’t exist and want me to be something I’m not. Or they want me dead

Obligatory disclaimer, No, I’m not saying trans people get a pass for being rude, they are being rude, and maybe they are being unreasonable, I’m just saying we shouldn’t act like it was completely unprecedented for them to get defensive, and unless they resort to violence and are causing physical harm, all they’re doing is yelling at someone, and there people who have done things 10x worse than that to trans people.

Second obligatory disclaimer, Trans people should also not always expect every single person to know their pronouns or gender right away. I’m Non-Binary but I look and dress like my assigned gender at birth, I’m not going to fault anyone for thinking I’m that gender, but once someone knows my preferred pronouns and gender identity, I expect it to be respected. So if you’re a trans person and you don’t really “pass” as your gender, be aware you will likely get misgendered, but also don’t don’t let those that know your identity misgender you, because you don’t need to look “appropriately” feminine/masculine/androgynous for people to respect your identity.

After coming home from Switzerland a few weeks ago, it’s back to business as usual… 

It’s a little after six a.m. at the palace and you are already hard at work in your role as the Queen of Cordonia. 

You awoke before Liam, which almost never happens… but, you have a lot on your plate today and decided that with the quietness of the palace at this hour, you’d be able to focus without distractions. You showered and dressed, then tip-toed to the bed where he lay peacefully sleeping. You bent down and gently kissed him on the cheek and whispered, “I love you, Liam…” then quietly walked out the door, leaving him sleeping like a baby. 

After reaching your office you walk over to the desk and sit, taking the stack of papers neatly clasped together by a single paper clip. This is your project… your contribution to the people of Cordonia… It is a proposal compiled from your ideas. From hospital equipment to recruiting a higher level of providers, there was no stone unturned. 

Liam had approached you with the idea several months ago after he learned that Cordonia was on a top ten list for the country with the worst healthcare system. You’ve spent hours researching and gathering data in order to effectively support your vision… and not to mention getting help from your friends. 

Maxwell had set up an online blog asking people what they wanted most from their healthcare experience, providing tons of information from the recipients of such services. 

Hana put her etiquette to good use by visiting various hospitals and offices to get input from the providers as well as the workforce. Also equally informative.  

Drake even brought a few books from the library which outlined various equipment and it’s uses which provided invaluable information for what you would be proposing. 

Liam was very encouraging and offered the legal assistance necessary to endorse your strategy… He was your sounding board and after hearing the plans, he was quite confident that you could make a difference in Cordonia’s standing… ‘A seamless task for someone with such a kind and generous spirit… and the opportunity to improve the lives of our citizens while supporting your passion for helping others... Not to mention your unique gift of motivating those around you.’ He never misses an opportunity to praise and encourage you, which makes this even more important that it be a success. 

As you scan through the text, the word ‘new cycles’ sparks a memory of your childhood. One that should have been a happy time in your life… 

“Okay princess, time to make a wish!” You close your eyes, take in a deep breath, and then blow out all seven lit candles atop the birthday cake your foster mother Eileen made. All your friends cheer, and you smile wide as clicks of the cameras echo and flashes of light flicker all around you, creating permanent images to mark this special occasion. You’d never had a birthday party before and it was exciting to have a celebration where you were the reason for the gathering. The sisters at the children’s home always had cake for birthdays, but there were never gifts… 

You are brought back to the present by familiar sounds out in the hallway… the palace was beginning to come to life just like clockwork. You shake off the anxiety and pick up the last two pages of the proposal, reading through until the last sentence. You smile, content that your ideas were interpreted right. 

“Yes! This is perfect… even if I do say so myself.” Feeling happy, you lift your feet off the ground and swing the chair around several times before it comes to a complete stop with you facing the wall. After a few moments of silent contemplation… you hear a familiar chuckle from behind you. “Not nearly as perfect as you my love.” You quickly turn and see Liam in the doorway and you smile back at him. “I didn’t hear you come in.” “Clearly...” He walks over, and you stand up facing him. He places his arms around your waist and yours reach around his neck. He leans in and kisses you gently. “Good morning my queen.” “It is now, my king...” He smiles. “You’re up early…” 

Liam pulls you closer and rubs your back while looking at you intently. “… and I was rather disappointed when I awoke to an empty bed… I missed having you next to me.” “I know… I missed that too, but I was thinking about my presentation this afternoon, and I couldn’t go back to sleep. You were so peaceful, and I didn’t want to wake you.” He kisses your nose and then rests his forehead against yours. “You used to wake up thinking about me…” “I still do, and I did… but, this is my first real project and I just want it to be perfect.” He smiles sweetly as he tucks a strand of hair behind your ear. “I have no doubts that it will be, and I do appreciate your enthusiasm, but… I’ve become quite fond of waking up with you beside me… and holding you.” 

You think for a moment and then smile playfully at him. “And you also seem to be quite fond of stealing the blankets too… I have to snuggle against you just to keep warm sometimes.” He laughs as if proud of himself. “Even in my sleep I find ways to draw you closer to me.” “You don’t need to steal the covers for that…” You smile at each other, and in the next moment his lips find yours in a tender, passionate kiss, as his hands wander over your body, igniting a fire within. “Mmmm…” You pull back slowly and look at him, your fingers toying with the buttons on his shirt. “I’m free until this afternoon... If you have the time, maybe I can find a way to make up for neglecting my king this morning… it may take a while though.” He smiles and when he speaks, his voice is low and raspy. “Oh, I’ll make sure of it, my queen...” He kisses you fervently, sucking gently on your bottom lip and then trails more kisses down your neck and to your chest. “… but I’d prefer… a more… private… setting…”  With the warmth of his lips between your breasts, you breathlessly reply... “And comfortable.” 

Without saying another word, he takes your hand leading you quickly to the royal chambers. As soon as the door closes behind you his lips find yours in a searing kiss and begins loosening the fastenings of your clothes…  

Later… you both lay contentedly atop the covers on the bed. Liam leans over and kisses your cheek. “Each time we’re together, it only gets better and better.” You smile in agreement. “I think so too… you really did miss me, didn’t you?” Liam chuckles. “I couldn’t hide it, even if I wanted to.” You smile. “I wouldn’t let you miss me for too long.” “That’s good to know…” You lay together a few more minutes in silence and Liam reluctantly sighs. 

“As much as I would love to spend the day in bed with you my love, I suppose we should make an appearance at the breakfast table.” “Yeah, I guess you’re right. And I’m kind of hungry anyway.” “Me too…” 

After breakfast Liam heads out to the awaiting motorcade for an impromptu meeting in the city. You stay behind and head back to your office. Soon after settling in, there is a knock on your door. “Come in.” It’s Mara with a message from the King Father. “He asked for your presence in his study, Your Majesty.” You look puzzled. “Did he say why?” “I’m not sure, but he ushered everyone out of the room. Including the Queen Mother.” Mara bows her head to hide a smile and you can’t help but laugh a little just picturing it. “Well, I’d better go see what he wants. If he kicked Regina out, I’m sure it’s not in my favor…” 

Mara escorts you to the study and you walk in. Mara comes in behind you. “You wanted to see me?” He sees Mara. “Yes, please. Have a seat. Mara, if you’ll excuse us for a moment…” “Of course, Your Majesty.” Mara bows and backs out of the room. Once the door closes, Constantine clears his throat. “I’m sorry for appearing enigmatic, but I have a private matter to discuss with you.” You sense the hesitation in his voice. “Did I do something?” He smiles apologetically. “No, no. It’s nothing like that… It’s a bit embarrassing to be quite honest…” There is a long silence. “Well, I’m here now. So what is it exactly?” 

He seems reluctant to speak, but then he sighs. “Catherine, I need your help. It’s quite obvious that Liam and I have grown apart since… since the scandal. And before I leave this world, I desperately want to bridge that distance between us.” 

“That’s wonderful Constantine, but how can I help?” He contemplates his response. “I know that Liam listens to you, and I was thinking maybe a father, son outing of sorts.” “What did you have in mind?” 

“That’s precisely the reason I need your help. I know his free moments are spent with you… not that it’s a bad thing mind you, but I don’t see him taking any time away from that... especially not for me.” You think for a moment and an idea comes to mind. “Liam loves the Applewood Manor. He’s talked a lot about how relaxed it is there. And maybe we could go for a couple of days on the ruse of showing him the progress of the orchard. I hear there has been a lot of change since the last time we visited.” “Hmm… it’s not a bad idea actually… maybe he and I could take the horses out one afternoon… that would do nicely.” 

Constantine smiles appreciatively. “Thank you, Catherine. I knew I was right to ask you for assistance.” “You don’t have to thank me. We’re family, remember?” “Yes, yes we are… and if we could keep this conversation confidential…?” “Of course, but how are you going to explain it to Regina?” He smiles confidently. “You let me worry about that…” 

After a long week, it’s time to make the journey to Applewood Manor. Liam was more than happy to visit and see firsthand, the changes to the orchard after it was burned almost a year ago… and talk with the farmers regarding any concerns. Always the good king… 

The next day, you enlist Regina’s help with some decorations for the upcoming Apple Festival. Liam was a bit disappointed that he couldn’t spend the afternoon with you, but he was understanding as usual and you promised it would only be a few hours. 

Constantine is waiting in the sitting room, where he has summoned Liam. “You wanted to see me father?” Constantine motions for Liam to sit. “Yes. I have it on good authority that the ruins were vandalized recently, and I thought you and I could ride out there and see if there’s any real damage.” “I hadn’t heard of any vandalism… what kind are we talking about?” 

“Well, they found that a few young boys had set up camp right in the middle… hoping to conjure spirits and such. It was harmless, but I’d like to see it nonetheless.” “Alright, I’ll have staff prepare the horses. I’m rather interested to see it myself.” 

Liam’s POV -- 

Once the horses are ready, you walk with your father down to the stables. Since he gave up his wheelchair a few weeks ago, you are surprised at how well he is able to get around. “It’s good to see you walking again.” “I’m a little slower, but I’d say it’s coming along…” 

You help Constantine up into the saddle and then mount your own horse. While riding the trail you can’t help but think how regal Constantine looks sitting on his horse… It reminds you of the confident king he once was and a time when you admired him and tried to imitate his character… It’s sad to think of what he became in the last year of his reign, but it angers you at the same time. 

Most of the ride is spent chatting about mundane topics and issues, but before you reach the ruins Constantine stops his horse and looks out into the clearing. Thinking something is wrong, you start to dismount your horse and your father holds up his hand. “Don’t get down just yet. It’s still a few paces before it’s necessary.” “Then why did you stop?” Constantine looks over and you see tears in his eyes. “Father?” He doesn’t try to hide them, and then begins to speak. “Liam, I know I’ve been a fool…”

He pauses, letting those words permeate before continuing. “…everything I did, it was for you, however misguided it was…” “Father, now is not the time--” Constantine interrupts. “No. This is the perfect time. We have been at odds far too long and I’m not ready to die until you and I can clear the air…”

Taken - Part 1 TRR AU

A/N: So, this is an inspiration I got from a writing prompt list that @laniquelove had and graciously allowed me to use, so thank you! I am warning you this series is going to some very dark place! We are gonna explore some weird emotions we are not used to seeing from characters. This is based on #2 (kidnapped), but I am taking into a much darker, dreary level. Please, please, don’t hate me and don’t judge me! I swear I am not a monster or a psychopath. I am just a normal gal, well normal as can be. I also used to be a hunger games fan and used to read a ton of fanfic from that fandom. So, this is kind of a fanfic with Hunger Games and TRR crossover. I am also using the same names from my TRR AU series because I’m too boring to create new names for characters so forgive me!

Summary: The chaos of the assassination attempt, but someone is missing.

 The once immaculate ballroom is now a full-blown chaos as if an unrelenting tornado is passed through. Tables are flipped over, chairs thrown in the middle of the space, guards running about and securing the royals and nobles. Liam’s security team have finally gotten the upper hand against the onslaught of the assassins and rushes him to a safe house along with Hana and Maxwell.

“Where the hell is Catheryne? Where is my fiancé?” Liam yells at a guard as he pins him against a wall. The guard replies with a monotone voice, “Bastien is securing the palace now, Your Majesty. They are accounting for every noble, injuries and fatalities. I also just go an update that Mr. Walker has been rushed to the best hospital in Vienna.” He politely wiggles off Liam’s hold.

An hour passes but it might as well be an eternity. The tiny living room wasn’t enough for all the tension it was holding. Hana tries to calm Liam down and to think clearly for Catheryne’s sake. “Liam, please, sit down for a minute. Drink some water. It’ll clear your head. We need to be strong right now. You, of all people, know how important it is to maintain a level-head in this kind of situation. The guards will find her, I’m sure of it.”

How could he? How could he think clearly when he doesn’t know what happened to the love of his life? He starts to pace as he mutters, “I should have been there, Hana. It’s my responsibility to take care of her and protect her. I promised that nothing would happen to her as long as I’m around. What kind of King am I that I can’t even protect the one most important person in my life? What if the worst has happened? What if they got to her? I should have been by her side. She should be in here with us!” He screams and throws a lamp across the room, scaring Hana in the process. “I…I don’t know what I’m gonna do if something terrible happens to her,” he whispers, stopping his pacing placing his hands on his hips with his head hanging low in his shoulders. He looks so defeated, the guilt and pressure of being a royal literally weighing him down. Hana comes over quietly and pats his back comfortingly.

“Hey, how about we play a card game?” Maxwell chimes in from the kitchen, holding a deck of cards in his hands. “I found it in one of the drawers. I thought it would be a great way to past time, you know.” He is met with nothing but a glare from both Liam and Hana. He looks down in shame, but he doesn’t know what else to do. It is his nature to liven a stressful situation.

Another hour passed with no word from the outside world. Liam growing worse with every second. He knows he shouldn’t act this way. He is the King of Cordonia. He’s had classes after classes about diplomacy etiquette, knowing what emotion and the right words to convey to strengthen the public, but right here, stuck in this safe house with only his friends to see, he lets his guard down. When it comes to her all common sense just goes right out the window.

After what feels like ten lifetimes, they hear two distinct knocks on the door, the King’s Guard knock. Maxwell answers the door for Bastien and smiles, “Oh, Bastien, you are a sight for sore eyes. We’ve been here forever. Come on in.” He steps aside to let the head of security into the house.

“Your Majesty. Lady Hana. Lord Maxwell. I apologized that it took so long to finally come here, but as head of security I had to make sure that you were safe and then acquire accountability of the rest of the nobles. Duke Beaumont, Lady Savannah and their son have evacuated to the neighboring city. They should be safe. Your Majesty, you’ll be glad to know that there were no casualties in the incident. Although, Lady Kiara has sustained a knife injury which she’s being treated for with best care. Drake is also rushed to…”

Liam interrupts Bastien’s briefing, standing up, squaring his shoulder and summoning his regal, commanding tone, “Bastien I have known you a long time and there is an information you are withholding, and I demand you to tell me right now!”

“Your Majesty, I…I am saddened to be the one to relay this information, but… Lady Catheryne was taken during the attack. We searched for her for hours. I am sorry. We are doing everything we can to locate her and bring her back safely. The police have taken control of the palace to collect evidence. I regret saying this, but you all need to stay here until the green light is given to go back to the palace,” He looks down as he informs the group of the tragic news.

Liam doesn’t hear anything else but that Catheryne has been kidnapped. He sinks to the couch afraid that his knees would buckle underneath him. His head is dizzy from the slap in the face he just received. He feels nauseous. What have I done? What in the hell have I done?! Oh God, Catheryne, I am sorry. This is all my fault. If not for me, you wouldn’t have come to Cordonia and you would be safe. I am the damn King why couldn’t I have prevented this?

His train of thoughts are halted by a loud ping of an oncoming message on a cellphone. Then, he hears it again. All their phones light up the somber living room. Nothing good ever happens when that phone rings. “Oh no,” Hana says with a worrying tone.

i dont know who posted for me to get an influx of people reading at once but you guys are too nice honestly i love it ok so anyway i dont know how i managed to crank out another chapter but here we are - just a heads up school starts again monday so these might not be as frequent im sorry but ill try to keep up with posting something

    “And you’re certain you haven’t discerned any information on a past encounter between your friend and Prince Roman?” Logan reiterates, taking this Patton boy on a condensed tour of the castle. If he insisted upon staying, the advisor supposed it was the least he could do to keep him occupied. From the mesquite banisters to the polished oak floorings, Logan allows himself a reprieve of pleasure in showing off the palace to someone who isn’t so used to its grandeur.

    “Not a clue!” Patton replies. That incessant smile hasn’t left his face since they left the meeting room, where the prince and Virgil remains to hammer out some minute details about the current situation. Perhaps the most bothersome thing about this boy is his refusal to admire the finer points of architecture, instead favoring trivial nothings like the garden. “I’m not stupid, you know, so you can stop mentally criticizing me.” At Logan’s stunned expression, he continues, “it’s written all over your face. Just think of me like a normal person, just like you, and we’ll get along great.”

    Logan draws the corner of his lip between his teeth, eyebrows furrowed. He was certain his countenance was neutral, and it wasn’t like him to let emotions slip through the cracks. Opting to instead change the subject, he turns to a still-beaming Patton and suggests a return to the meeting room. “They’ve probably figured everything out by now,” he adds, veering through a side door for a shortcut.

    “We’re back!” Patton exclaims, bursting into the first available room. “Did you mi—oh no where’d they go?” The only person watching him back, a note of confusion in their eyes, is someone in a kitchen staff uniform. Definitely not Virgil or Roman, at the very least.

    “Wrong room,” Logan replies, pointing to a door further down the same room. Patton follows the direction and repeats himself, this time to a more familiarly occupied area.

    “We’re back!” Did you miss us?” He catapults himself into a hug with Virgil, while Logan strolls in more calmly behind. Roman sidles up next to him, watching the pair converse.

    “Anything?” the prince asks. The only giveaway to his worry toward the mysterious boy is the small lines wrinkling near his mouth, likely from biting the corner of his lip. A habit he picked up from his advisor years ago, one that neither had managed to drop.

    Logan shakes his head. “He’s as ignorant of the situation as you. Speaking of which, what’ve you got?”

    Roman sighs, still watching Patton fawn over Virgil. “All I heard was sarcastic comments. Whatever his deal is, he’s not giving it to me. I even asked a guard to check out the library on our way down earlier for any mentions of a Virgil in the records, but nothing up until he passed a boundary. No evidence of him ever having a boundary set until he broke it. Where did this kid come from?”

    “I’m not deaf, y’know,” Virgil calls, scowling beside Patton. “Just because I didn’t answer your stupid questions doesn’t mean I can’t, it just means I won’t.” Roman sticks his tongue out before making an about face and turning for the door.

    “I suppose we may as well continue the tour, shall we?” he tosses over his shoulder. The other three follow, Patton bouncing between decorations as Virgil maintains a straight line path. Logan brings up the rear, schooling his features into a cool disinterest as he observes the newcomers. From the towering windows to the dangling chandeliers, nothing ceases to amaze Patton, while everything endlessly bores Virgil. Perhaps the most strange thing Logan picks up on is the few manners Virgil demonstrates, which he shouldn’t have any knowledge of. From issuing a respectful bow to the highest member of the royal guard to properly addressing the palace staff by their official title, Virgil seems to have already grasped the ropes without being handed the knot. Logan makes a mental note to look deeper into the matter later as Patton comes running up beside him. Ahead, Virgil stiffens.

    “What’s your favorite part of living in the palace?” Patton asks. Detecting no malice or ulterior motives in his voice, Logan decides a dignified response is in order.

    “The library.”

    “Can we see it?”

    “I don’t see why not. Roman!” The prince in question turns back from where he’s failing miserable at walking beside Virgil, who isn’t having any of it, changing his pace to remain alone. “To the library.”

    “To the library!” Roman declares, a finger raised triumphantly in the air. Logan does his best to meet Patton’s enthusiasm with diminished politeness, more focused on Virgil’s inexplicable etiquette than the charm of a castle that’s worn off from him. One of the only places he truly cares about anymore rapidly draws near, Roman throwing the doors open with a grand flourish of the arms. Patton bursts through, roaming the aisles with Roman in tow, as Logan hangs back to run a hand over his favorite cypress desk. Lost in thought, he’s unprepared and a good deal startled when a purple clad figure materializes at his side. Logan gives a slight nod before Virgil jabs an accusing finger at his chest.

    “Listen here, pal.” Contempt drips from Virgil voice, taking Logan aback to the point that he leans against the desk for support. “I don’t know what bull you people are trying to feed me, and frankly? I couldn’t care less. But if you so much as lay a finger on my friend?” Virgil punctuates each word carefully with another stab of his finger, forcing Logan back until he’s leaning on his elbows and gazing up at Virgil. “You’d better pray to whatever higher power there might be. You will stay away from him, and if anything I do to protect him from you monsters is wrong, then so help me, I will face God and walk backwards into hell.”

    Roman pops his head around a bookshelf, asking if everything is still okay. Virgil flashes a thumbs up, acting as if his threat had never happened, letting it settle in Logan’s gut. Something lingers in Virgil’s eyes, something Logan has no intention of going up against. Something that terrifies him.

Not intentionally. I can be a little bit sometimes, but I honestly do my best to at least give everyone a fair chance before saying, ‘hey, you know what, our styles don’t seem to be matching up too well, and it’s just not working for me’. By no means is this a way of saying I don’t want to still be friends, though. I don’t like to exclude anybody, but it does happen sometimes on account of my own personal preferences and comfort level. I have social anxiety, so it does happen sometimes, but I do not ever mean to be selective.

2. Do you rp with self-insert muses?

This right here, is a bit more of an interesting question, because.. Yes, and no. See, this is where some personal preferences come in, and so.. I don’t really rp full, lengthy threads with self-insert muses. However, I would absolutely love to receive in-character asks from your self-insert, and have some fun, short conversations that way. Maybe build up some interaction through the inbox, before getting comfortable enough to try a thread. Again, I don’t like to exclude anybody, so I would of course give you a chance.

3. Can I ask your muse about canon events?

Um, hell fucking YES!! Please do! Ask Varian about the science expo! Ask him about how he felt when Rapunzel ‘broke’ her promise to him! Ask him anything about canon events, I love these kinds of asks!

4. Am I allowed to ask about a thread I liked reading?

OF COURSE!! It’s not canon events, technically, but it goes along the same lines. If you want to ask Varian about the events of a particular thread, or ask him things in a particular verse, you can absolutely just go for it!

5. I saw you made a design for the Moondrop Flower, and it looks so pretty! Can I use it in a fanart I’m making?

Holy carp. If you want to do this, I would honestly be honored that you even ask. My Moondrop flower design is absolutely free for anyone to use in fanart regarding @ghosta-r‘s Moon Theory. All I ask is just a little note of credit for the design and we’re all good.

6. I really like the _____ thread you’re doing with ______! Can I draw fanart of your thread?

I admit no one has asked me this yet, but.. OH MY GOD. If someone wanted to illustrate one of my threads, I would probably scream, and cry, and want to hug you for the rest of eternity, because holy carp, that would mean so much to me. I love getting asks, and feedback on my threads, but getting art is like, such a high honor! If you want to illustrate one of my threads, you don’t even have to ask, just go for it!

7. Do you have any other blogs?

Yes. Like a million of them. Too many to list here, I’m pretty spread out across a lot of fandoms, sometimes with multiple blogs in a fandom. But.. If you want some of my OCs, I can put those here at least. Arsene, Jasper, the Ascension Crew, Kaelan, Joker, Krampus, Artimaes, Darrow, and my Lion King OCs are the main ones I can think to add for this.

Regarding other fandoms besides this one, it’s always a good idea to ask about a specific fandom you’re looking for, since there is certainly a possibility I have a blog in that fandom too. As for the Tangled fandom in particular, I do actually have a few other blogs and they’re actually all sideblogs on this one, so yeah! Those are Maximus, Quirin, Varian’s mother (who I’m calling Isabela), an OC named Kaspar (Old Man) Jenkins, and Owl.

9. Can I draw fanart of your OC?

Yes, please. Like I’ve already said, I love getting gift art. So if you want to draw Old Man Jenkins, or any of my other OCs as linked above, please feel free to do so.

If anyone were to actually ask me this, I would die. I am certainly a novelist in my spare time, and if anyone is interested in reading my books, and if you don’t mind that they’re mostly unfinished/currently being heavily edited, then just ask me and I can toss a link your way!

12. I’m not actually an rp blog, but can I rp with you anyway?

Um.. No? I mean, you can send asks and things like that, but if you don’t actually have a muse, it’s very difficult for me to have a thread with a personal blog. Personal blogs are different than self-insert muses, and this goes for sending me rp prompt asks too. If you don’t actually have any sort of muse, please don’t send these.. The symbols and things for my muse to react too.. Can’t be reacted to without another muse there to react to.

13. Are you an exclusive rper?

Not really? I may give priority to people who I consider my mains for a certain muse, but that doesn’t mean I’m not going to rp with someone else with the same muse as another mun I rp with.

Sorry, but I don’t do duplicate rps. I just can’t logically wrap my head around these kinds of threads, so for my own comfort, I just don’t do those. Nothing against you, of course, I love that there are other people who love my muse just as much as I do, and everyone’s portrayal is certainly unique! You’re of course allowed to send asks and stuff and make friends with me, but.. Just not in character, please.

Please don’t ask me this.. I will never intentionally ignore anyone, unless they start acting like this. Don’t send me repeat asks just because I didn’t get to you over the course of a few hours. For anyone who wants it here’s video of the “toys” exchange about Misha from the J2 panel at Nolacon with the audio synced up (the other clip going around was slightly off. Jared launching into the standard bit about how Misha has such a great job because he never works etc etc starts around 10:57.) I feel like to actually meta this properly I’d need gifs and I am technologically incompetent but maybe someone else wants that? (also I’ll happily take recs for easy-to-use gif programs). BUT I have THOUGHTS on the timing and most notably all the significant pauses in this exchange.  [I’m a smol baby tumblr and not sure about etiquette--hope it is ok to tag some bloggers/meta writers whose stuff I love reading and who might enjoy this and/or like to have the better version of this video. Sorry if it’s not--I am learning! @weathergirl83 @castiel-left-his-mark-on-me @cocklesheadboop @destiel-cockles-shippers-connect @ozonecologne] First off, once again it’s Jensen who opens the door to this kind of teasing from Jared like the sweet baby angel that he is because he’s so psyched to be talking about Misha that he takes a fairly innocuous joke, Jared’s “That was actually just the nest cam footage from his house,” and turns it into something that invites innuendo, “That’s his bedroom.” He obviously thinks it will end there and gives a sunshine grin for making Jared laugh out loud until Jared’s quick wit catches him again with “They VFX-ed out all the toys.” Then there’s a face-scrunch-half-unicorn-laugh-turn-from-the-audience-and-WALK-THE-FUCK-AWAY reaction because (I’m guessing) he doesn’t want his full and honest reaction to that comment endlessly giffed all over the internet (ahem).  But the best, the BEST, are the faces Jared is making at the audience as Jensen paces the stage behind him. They are the literal embodiment of “wink-wink-nudge-nudge” and say “whatever you’re thinking about why my buddy had to get up and walk away from the cameras--yeah, it’s right. I know you know too. We’re all thinking it.” At this point there’s a full 12 seconds where nothing is said while Jensen paces, composes himself, and does the nervous neck-rubbing thing before Jared steps in to pretend that they just meant “his kids’ toys.” I actually think that comment, and how he picks up the narrative thread about Misha not working much, was Jared’s apology since there’s probably literally nothing Jensen could have said *without* sounding incriminating (because we all have trash minds and also because, well, he IS incriminated). Jensen thinks it’s over; he’s safe; he can do the self-soothing thing where he readjusts his clothes and/or does the thigh touch and move on (all while looking down and doing the little derpy Misha grin of course). But WAIT! Jensen has been SO DISTRACTED by the fact that Jared mentioned Misha + sex toys ONSTAGE that he can’t think of a good way to answer a really simple question (albeit one that was framed in an unnecessarily complicated way) about what supernatural creature he’d play. (Side note: can we have a list of blacklisted questions that have been answered too many times before? If they can blacklist for other content why not that?) He hmmms for 10 seconds before Jared steps in with, “Couldn’t have said it better myself.” For context, both for this and for the 12 second pause above, studies in speech patterns consider 4 second pauses “long.” Theater is obviously less exact but I can confirm that 10 seconds is absolutely a long pause in a performance too. (I have lots of academic thoughts about pauses and silences. I will not inflict them on you.) These guys have a great stage rhythm and are suuuuppper practiced at it and I think you’ll find that neither of them will ever let a pause go for longer than about 10 seconds because they are aware of it as a sign that the other is kinda struggling. And since they are ride-or-die buddies who always want to help out the other will typically come to the rescue if the pause is too long. So Jared steps in to help fill the silence, which is very considerate. But then he DOES IT AGAIN by proposing that Jensen would play “one of the toys.” There is NO REASON WHATSOEVER to bring this up again especially since it sent Jensen off into this distracted state in the first place. No reason unless you are a little shit-stirrer (which Jared definitely is). Jensen reacts to this with either a “woah” or a “no” before the little theatrical shudder that we’ve seen him do before (as in the Western/Romcom clip) that is his stage shorthand for “ewwww gross I definitely never think about Misha that way no siree bob nothin’ to see here move along.” Another 5 seconds from the shudder (again, already “long pause” territory) he gives another “no” (or a no-like noise) and then freezes and thinks for another 5 seconds before offering “Donatello.” There’s about 15 seconds between “one of the toys” and “Donatello” during which all we can do is watch Jensen squirm and Jared turn his chair back and forth and stroke his face “innocently” (although clearly it’s all exaggerated I think he maybe regrets taking it that far and is pretty relieved that his friend can save it with the Ninja Turtle joke). They laugh, share some kind of inside joke (my head constructed the joke as one of them saying “that sounds like something Misha would name a dildo” and the other agreeing) and then Jensen turns back and says to the original question-asker, world-wearily, “I don’t know.” The whole thing from the VFX comment to “I don’t know” takes about 1 minute and 40 seconds and literally nothing is said that is *not* pure innuendo about Misha. Which is a not insignificant amount of time for an hour-long panel. Draw your own conclusions. Tl;dr Jared is both wonderful and a total asshole and the long pauses surrounding these comments betray the extent to which Jensen finds the idea of Misha and sex toys incredibly distracting.

1) Who is your favorite girl group?

Tough question. I used to love 4minute and 2ne1 but if we’re talking about active groups then it’d be either GFriend, Blackpink or Mamamoo. Dreamcatcher is slowly going up my list too, I really like their style.

2) Who is your favorite boy group?

B.A.P. I just love them and their work so much, all their songs are perfectly crafted in every way, and they’re so lovely, hardworking and talented. They’ve been through so much but they fought together and are still trying, I really admire them.

3) Are there any choreographies that you love the most (from any group)?

I have to answer B.A.P again. I just love their choreographies, I think they’re so complex and well executed. I particularly love Power and One Shot but all of them are amazing, really. There are other incredibly talented groups I love too: GFriend, SHINee, Infinite and BTS, to name a few.

4) Do you prefer when groups release hype songs or when they release chill songs?

Normally I like hype songs better, there are some ballads I love but they’re usually my least favorite songs in an album.

5) What was your favorite debut song (from any group)?

I don’t want to turn this into a B.A.P biased meme buuut I love Warrior lol, I’m not a big fan of the all-blond style but I really love the song and the choreo. My other favorite debut song is Fanfare by SF9, I fell so hard for it, had it on repeat for days.

6) Are there any groups you wish that were not underrated/would get more recognition?

I’m going to write a lengthy answer for this and it might not even make any sense so I apologize in advance lol.

I try not to think too much about this because it’s dangerously close to what I personally consider “bad fan-etiquette”. Doesn’t matter how much someone screams underrated, it’s always a biased opinion. A specific group might be the best thing on earth for me but it doesn’t have to be for the rest of the people, everybody has their own taste and their criteria of what’s important in a group. Not only there’s no real way to objectively rank idols based on how good they are or how popular they deserve to be, but I feel like it shouldn’t matter much anyway. I know there’s a limit of how “nugu” a group can be before they disappear so we all worry and fight hard to make sure our groups are known, but as long as they get by well enough to survive I don’t care too much about awards and number of views or stans. Sadly, that’s not really how you measure talent or professionality (even if some people like think so), let alone how lovely or hardworking they are. And sometimes talent isn’t even relevant, in my opinion, sometimes you just like a group simply because you do and you’re perfectly entitled to. I don’t like forcing anything on anybody and I don’t like putting value where it doesn’t belong.

Stuffy rant said (sorry for that, it’s a topic I’m somewhat passionate about and I couldn’t help it lol), I’m going to answer this question anyway. I personally wish B.A.P and Monsta X had more recognition, in my very biased opinion. B.A.P was on a really good path before everything went to hell because of the lawsuit issue, and I think it’s really unfair because they were brave enough to fight back and they ended up being punished for it. And Monsta X is doing so well and they’re so good but they still haven’t won anything and they think it’s their fault, so it’s frustrating. But there’s nothing I can really do about it besides “doing my part” and buying/streaming/recommending them when asked, so why complain about it.

7) Do you choose your biases or do your biases choose you?

They choose me. I always try to choose and stick to it but it’s inevitable, they come for me hahaha. When I get into a new group I choose the cutest member and go with it, but then I get to know them and usually someone else does something that makes me go ‘who are you and where have you been all my life’.

8) What’s the first Kpop song you heard?

Fantastic Baby by BIGBANG.

9) What made you fall in love with Kpop?

I just love the aesthetics and how professional they are. I was in awe, the way they train for this and how hard they work for every single comeback after they debut. They have to sacrifice so much to become idols, they spend so many uncertain years trying to debut without even knowing if they ever will – and when they do, it’s not like everything is done and they’re going to live in luxury the way popular Western artists do. Being an idol is really hard and the competition is brutal, you never know how long you’re going to be up. It’s amazing, you don’t see this kind of commitment and professionality around here, in my opinion.

10) Do you have an merchandise of your favorite groups?

I do! I’m very picky when it comes to merch but I own several t-shirts/hoodies, lightsticks, photocards and some other goodies.

11) Do you have any song or group recommendations?

You seem to have a very nice taste! I feel like you’re going to know everybody I mention. I saw you just got into SF9, Pentagon and 24K. Do you know MVP? They debuted recently and I love their stuff so far! I also got into Victon recently thanks to Eyez Eyez.

Aw man, how am I supposed to choose. I’m going to say B.A.P again, sorry. I love Skydive, 1004 (Angel) and Wake me up, such good videos. I love VIXX’s mvs as well, they’re always so dark and dramatic. I love EXO’s Monster, Monsta X’s All in and BTS’ Run too. I can’t really choose one hahaha.

2) Favorite girl group dance practice?

I love 2ne1 and GFriend’s dance practices. 

3) Favorite boy group dance practice?

Monster by EXO. It’s so artistic, I love it.

4) Who’s your ultimate bias and why?

My ult bias is Bang Yong Guk from B.A.P. Where do I even start. I feel like we’re very similar, he looks introverted and quiet and someone who is very active inside his mind, but who is also funny, quirky and sassy. I feel like I’d feel really comfortable around him. I don’t know how to explain it, he seems to have a nice and calm aura and I feel so at ease with such people (introverted things lol). He’s really smart and socially aware, he doesn’t speak much but every time he does he says the right thing. He’s such a good caretaker, all the boys love him and respect him SO much, I feel like it says a lot about him and how he makes people close to him feel. He’s an amazing person as well, he does so much for other people and gives so much to charity, I feel like we don’t even know half of it but it’s already impressive. He’s so incredibly talented too, he plays such an active part in the creation of their songs and they are always so good (and so is the rest of the work he does under his known pseudonym.) I could go on forever but I won’t do that to you lol basically, he’s an incredibly amazing and gorgeous human being, an amazing leader and a talented artist.

5) Who’s your ultimate bias wrecker?

Most of the people I stan, really. I just love everybody so much, they move up and down on the messy list all the time. They’re all amazing. I guess I’d say the rest of B.A.P if I had to choose, specially Youngjae.

6) Have you ever seen a kpop group live/been to kcon?

I have! I went to KCON LA 2016 and I’ve also seen EXO, GOT7, SHINee, Red Velvet, AOA, FT Island, Tiger JK and Dean live. Amazing experiences, all of them. I’m really hoping they’ll do a KCON in Europe this year.

7) Is there a group you want to see live?

B.A.P! They’re coming to Europe next month but nowhere near me and I can’t take the time to travel far because of work (all the dates are weekdays, WHYYY). I’ve already seen Monsta X and GFriend at KCON but I’d love to go a solo concert, that’d be lovely. I’d love to see BIGBANG, VIXX, BTS (if it’s in a seat far away from the rest of fans), Mamamoo, Highlight and Block B too. Who am I kidding, I’d love to see everybody I stan lol.

8) What was your favorite comeback of 2017 so far?

B.A.P, of course hahaha. I’ve loved many comebacks and debuts actually, obviously Highlight’s “debut” is a close second but I also really liked GOT7, Winner, Day6, Victon, SF9, Teen Top, IMFACT, BTS, CLC, AOA and CNBlue. If we’re talking about debuts, I really liked Dreamcatcher, MVP, Seven O’Clock, Black6ix and UNIT BLACK. I’m probably forgetting a couple debuts/comebacks I loved lol.

9) What upcoming comeback are you looking forward to?

Highlight’s Junhyung is making a solo comeback soon and I’m super excited about it! He’s my BEAST/Highlight bias, and I love his work and rapping style. I’m high key excited about Triple H’s debut too, I love Hyuna and Pentagon so I’m looking forward to see what they come up with!

10) Is there a group that you know of that you want to get into?

I have what I call my “side-children”, it’s basically groups I check out when they come back and occasionally see on my dash but I don’t actively follow. I’d like to get more into them, I don’t know much beyond the music and I wish I did. Groups like KNK, IMFACT, B1A4, 24K or Brave Girls, among others.

11) What’s your favorite kind of album concept? (royalty, cute, gang, elegant, sexy, etc.)

I usually like any concept as long as it’s well done and it fits the group, but I’m not very into cute concepts. I tend to favor dark and aggressive concepts best but I don’t have a favorite, I’m in for anything if they can pull it off successfully.

I didn’t give you straight answers, I’m sorry hahahaha. I just love so many groups, it’s really hard to only choose one. I really tried to keep it small, I swear.
