I wondered why out of any of the lyrics in Time, As a Symptom hit me particularly hard happened to be "and it pains me to admit, I was wrong" until I figured out because the moment of change, the moment the clearness of destiny is made (κρίσις), is my favourite point in a narrative, most often in the context of redemption. It's not a song that would work without it (would just become twee, in my opinion).
