it is kind of gratifying that every time someone brings up the weirdly rabid iskall hatedom on tumblr everyone is like “huh? what? they parasocially despise who?” because like yeah I don’t get it either but it’s been something he’s faced the entire time I’ve watched him (it’s just that recently he’s figured out how to find them funny as opposed to getting upset because of them—not that I blame him for getting upset, to be clear, it’s awful to have people decide to hate you for seemingly everything you do, but it’s nice that recently he’s been able to be like “yeah they should be CONSTRUCTIVE. if they say I don’t deserve to be on hermitcraft, who should they get to replace me?” instead of getting one guyed).

anyway, if you were wondering: yeah they all sound like that one insane comment on Joel’s video. sometimes a bit less conspiracy-brained and a bit more “you personally are killing hermitcraft by not hanging out with grian enough” or “everyone knows you’ll just abandon us for modded. sad”. but yeah sometimes just like that guy.
