Things will go well eventually. The spoon thing is impossible though. Many things will happen, and there may be painful things along the way, but everything will go well eventually.
...Can you say it one more time? It’s fine if you say it while eating ramen. Please say what you just said one more time.

Absolutely beautiful. I have no words to express just how touched I am to listen to Atsushi sing. Even though I’m not an aspiring singer, he is one of my idols. His passion and love shines through his work, and I hope one day that I will be able to show the same extent of my passion in what I love. :) I hope to meet him one day and thank him for being such an inspiration. :’)

Kazapon ♥
I was tearing up with the whole revelation scene for the Fukami family, where Maki quickly take Yuri away from Fumiya as he looks on. But on the other hand, as she laughs, Saho is quickly become my least favorite character. When she was rummaging through Fumiya's stuffs, I was thinking "What are you doing? Do you want to DIE!?" I'm glad she's caught though.
Kazapon is such a good actor... Best of 4Tops imho. Wish he's in more drama. The scene where he left Futaba, you can see the hurt in his eyes when he thought his only sister turn her back on him. But it just make me more confused. Surely, there must be a reason why he want to kill Aki. Fumiya didn't feel any remorse for what he did to Aki... Why? I hope it's not one of those, he's crazy and he just feel like it type of reason.
I like that Futaba want to give Hiroki something to remember before she go with her brother by fulfilling his wish of doing karaoke, but it backfired... and even their trip together with her brother backfired. Noticed when Futaba and Fumiya together, they called each other like how they used to when they are young. Futaba called herself as a third person "Futaba" when she's talking with her brother. Similarly, Fumiya called himself "Onii-chan" when he speaks to Futaba. I love that. It's like their bonds are there forever... Or at least until the last part. ^^;;
Mothers of both families "bonded" with drama. XD I don't know what the drama was though.
Also love when Hiroki was trying to condemn himself, but Satsuki totally turned his reasons around... And when he answered "Yes", it really feel like a load was lifted off his back. She said it so casually, and Hiroki's "why didn't I look at it that way" face afterward. ♥
Tanaka Kei's small scene. ;_; Through out the drama, it felt like he's the least affected by what had happen, but I love that scene. Though it was only a few seconds at most, you can tell that his exterior is starting to breakdown. Up until now, he's the one that tried to give everyone a "normal" life. Visiting his brother from time to time to give updates about their mothers, not speaking about the incident, trying to pretend it never happen. People may even thought of Kouhei as the comedy aspect of the show. But when his mother decided to change her life around and move back with Hiroki, you can see that Kouhei is starting to break down. You can really see it in this episode.... And he only have like 1 scene. lol I looking forward to see his own resolve.

Soredemo, Ikiteyuku 4.
The opening sequences are soooo pretty. ♥
I can see that they are switching from one family to the other for each episode.
Episode 3 talked about Hiroki's mother, who (also) blame herself for Aki's death. We finally got the mother and son relationship resolved. That scene between Hiroki and his mom was truly amazing. His mother finally decided to let go... Until the cliff hanger at the end of episode 3... I seriously want to watch the next episode right away, but I managed to control myself for better video/sub. >__<;;
Episode 4 continued from episode 3, where we see Hiroki's mother still bears a grudge with "that family". But interestingly, she doesn't hate Futaba. Or rather than that, she hates Futaba, but she doesn't really... because Futaba give her fun memories of Aki. The acting was really wonderful here.
But beside from that, the focus of ep 4 is Futaba's family, specifically her father. The person who's used to be so proud and arrogant, now instantly bowed down to everyone without another thought. It's heartbreaking to see him holding a guilt for not only for what Fumiya did, but also that he's unable to bring back Fumiya.
That scene with the old calligraphy teacher really pissed me off. Why did the assailant's family have to bear the burden just because of what one person did. And imagine that happen for a continuous 15 years. It's disgusting.
And also... the revelation of this week's episode... That scene with Futaba and Akari being shocked was good. But I have to applaud Mitsushima Hikari for this one. Her emotion came out very strong and pretty natural too.
I'm a bit confused about Fumiya, so does he cares about Maki?
Like before, during the flashbacks when Futaba's father see him working, and also when Fumiya said he's a daddy's boy, I feel like he's actually a pretty nice guy.
And when I thought my opinion of him changed for the better, the show suddenly spin everything upside down with the strange incident with the nurse, as well as the foreshadowing shovel. >__>;; I really have no idea what to think anymore.

Soredemo, Ikite yuku is an amazing drama, despite its low rating.
And, no, I'm not saying it because a lot of my favorite people are in it. All of the casts are great and strong with actual acting skill, but the story, music, scenery, etc... are extremely captivating. I absolutely love the opening sequences. So pretty! *___* Fuji-TV always tends to have pretty productions and this one isn't any different.
Episode 1, we have the story perspective of the victim's family. How Hiroki and his family become desolate from one another because of the the case. How everyone of the victim's family pretty much blamed himself. We get to see things through Hiroki's eyes. And at the end, I'll bet everyone was disgusted at Fumiya for living with the little girl after all that he did. Episode 1 did a great build up of that.
Episode 2, we have the story perspective of the assailant's family. Interesting thing is that the assailant family decided to stick together despite the whole thing. For this episode, we also get a glimpse of Fumiya through Futaba's eyes. Through her explanation, I was actually thinking... Could really be Fumiya? for a bit when she talked about his kindness and all those flashback. And the part where we have her family reading her letter to her brother while Futaba crying at the red poppy flower bed was so heart wrenching that I almost cry along with her.
It's really a well made human drama.
Eita and Mitsushiba Hikari was great in their roles. For the first episode, I love Emoto Akira's portrayal of the dying father with a dying wish. It surprised me that he already died in the first episode actually. lol I actually thought he's going to be there more... :x
