It’s an ingredient I wasn’t familiar with so was anxious to try it! 🌿 Mugwort is a Korean natural spring herb know for it’s detoxifying effects. It also has high levels of antioxidants, and has soothing & cleansing effects. 🌾Do you use korean vegan skincare? . When I came home from my long holiday vacation, @sophiebeautybox gifted me with kbeauty goodies from @huangjisoo_us. It's a clean vegan korean skincare brand that I've been eyeing but did not have an opportunity to try till now. The Huangjsoo holiday happy box contains 3 full size pads (60 count/jar) and 2 mini cleansers. Here are my first impressions: . ✨Pure Perfect Cleansing Oil: Oil is not thick and gently deep cleanses without irritating or tugging to skin. Does a great job of removing all traces of makeup and feels refreshing. . ✨Pure Daily Foaming Cleanser: Chamomile & Wheat Seed extract feels gentle and keeps my skin feeling hydrated. Great pump and perfect puff of foam. . ✨Sugar No Rinse: I generally do not cleanse in the morning, so I'll swipe these over my face. It is a no rinse with water after use. Works like micellar water and skin feels super fresh. . ✨Mugwort Rescue Soothing: Sea mugwort and cica help soothe skin. Calms my skin right after I have cleansed the surface of makeup. . ✨Sakura Peeling Radiance: PHA gently exfoliates, brightens, & tones. 🌟Review🌟 I received the #Helloganic masks for free in exchange for a review. Thank you @sophiebeautybox and @helloganic_usa for giving me a chance to try these. 🌟Claims: A daily cotton sheet mask that helps hydrate, lift, purify, and strengthen skin barrier. 🌟Notable Ingredients: Coconut palm, Adlay, Tomato, and Peach. 🌟Scent: Fragrance. Different depending on the mask. 🌟Use: After cleansing face, place mask on face and leave on for 15 minutes. Remove and tap excess essence to absorb. These masks remind me of the Taiwanese masks that I love. Thin and easy to wear but where they falter is that they don't contain as much essence as the Taiwanese masks. These masks only contain 23ml of essence compared to the usual 25-30 ml that I usually see. However, the masks are completely vegan so that's something to consider. The instructions say you get about 15 minutes and that's really all you get, at least I did. The masks did feel pretty nice and left my skin feeling hydrated also the fit and adherence was pretty great. One big con is that all the masks contain fragrance and the scent changes depending on the type of mask. In the first mask I used the "Grain Pore Refining" one, the scent was pretty mild. In contrast the scent of the "Vegetable Firming" mask was pretty strong (powdery). I can usually tolerate scents but I did feel like I was getting a slight headache. If you're sensitive to fragrance I wouldn't recommend. All in all they're pretty nice masks but I wish they contained more essence and less fragrance. I would repurchase. All the ingredients they used have green level, EWG skin deep. . @107oneoseven Rose vinegar water and botanics illuminating moisture mask which contains some great ingredients like inositol, hyaluronic acid, niacinamide and propolis extract. Provided by @bemusedkorea 💕 . @unboundlab hibiscus smoother pad which contains 88 percent of hibiscus flower extract and also centella Asiatica. . One of the surprise gift which actually was a best and most touching gift i have ever got is from @commleaf_official skin relief fresh serum with the sweetest treats and a very useful and much needed 2019 calendar. . @huangjisoo_official and @sophiebeautybox which is a beautiful box with some great products, can not wait to dig into it. . @selfkaire facial tool mirror, i used it yesterday and I totally love it, i really helps in depuffing my face and with blood circulation. I’ve shared my first impressions on this product already,but I’ve continued using it I’ve thought to give you a proper review... Therefore,let’s see... ➿ WHAT’s INSIDE ➿ •Whitening Mung Bean Extract; •Chamomile; •Centella Asiatica. ➿ WHAT IS NOT INSIDE ➿ Sulphates or Preservatives!!! ➿ CLAIMS ➿ -Remove toxins from the skin to make the skin clearer; -Protect the skin after cleansing; -Calm And moisturise the skin. According to my experience ↩️ It helps keep the skin balanced thanks to its great ingredients,and as it’s sulphates and preservatives Free is suitable for all skin types;on this note:its PH is 7 so I wouldn’t recommend it to very sensitive skin types as it might be a bit to strong! Despite being a Foaming Cleanser,it doesn’t strip the skin,and leaves it smooth and soft! I also really like its subtle scent...so delicate and soothing! Last night I tried out the @helloganic_korea one a day vegetable mask! This one was for firming and the star ingredient is tomato. Tomato contains lycopene which apparently helps with skin elasticity. These masks are vegan, if that is something you are passionate about! I loved the baby powdery scent of this mask. The material is bamboo and was very thin but not as clingy as I would have liked. Fit was pretty good and the mask stayed wet for 30ish minutes. My skin did feel nice and bouncy but not as hydrated as with other masks, so I definitely wouldn’t recommend it for hydrating. But there are still a few more masks in this set to try for hydrating so, this mask got the job done for sure for firming!!! So many choices!
