Just Leave A Comment Fest
Right, so I thought it would be fun to make a rec list of all the great fics I commented on during @justleaveacommentfest . I didn't have a ton of time to read fic this week, not just because of Ao3 going down, but I did my best! For fics that were multi-chapter I commented on every chapter.
July 10, Old/New:
New (published 7/8/2023, updated 7/11/2023) — Near Misses, Wishes by Underthebluerain | T | The Witcher | Jaskier/Radovid
Even if they don't fully realize it, Jaskier and Radovid's story is one of near misses.
Old (published 2/15/2013) — In the Hay by Hammocker | T | The Witcher | Jasker & Geralt
The night is too cold for Dandelion, but traveling with your closest friend has its perks.
July 11, <2k words:
1,917 words — Equal to Law by cyparissuscried | T | The Terror | Sophia Cracroft/Thomas Hartnell
Tom, she thinks. She could write a whole play with his name alone. He would be embarrassed of it and hide his face in the front of her kirtle at its premiere and she would not make fun, because that is the very reason for writing a play of his name. Tom. Thomas. Tom. Thomas. Tom. Thomas. Tom.
918 words — untitled (ghosts) by grahamgore | T | The Terror | Francis Crozier/James Clark Ross
It's 1854. Francis finally visits the Abbey at Aston Abbots.
July 12, AUs:
Soulmate AU — a grove without a name by stiltonbasket | G | MDZS/The Untamed | Lan Wangji/Wei Wuxian
Wei Wuxian was ten years old when he first began wearing mourning for his dead soulmate. Eight years later, he meets Lan Wangji. (Or, the one where a soulmate bond goes silent and shatters during the Sunshot Campaign, but Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji were always meant to be.)
Daemon AU — You're the Demon I Know by maely1234 | T | MDZS/The Untamed | Gen, Nie Huaisang
Nie Huaisang has spent nearly a decade working and planning and scheming, his daemon A-Zhi at his side. But while he may have survived Jin Guangyao's plans, dragging his hated enemy down in the process, he hadn't prepared for after. Left floundering without his quest for vengeance guiding him, Nie Huaisang navigates what it is he wants from life. Follows from the second siege of the burial mounds onwards.
July 13, Rarepair/Platonic:
Rarepair (12 fics) — all known effects of time and absence by robokittens | T | The Terror | John Irving/William Malcolm
My Dear Malcolm,— When next you receive post from me it will be in a batch, all post-marked from the Sandwich Islands and all beginning with a longing for your company.
Platonic — Lost Brothers by FormlessVoidbeast | M | Mad Max: Fury Road | Capable & Nux
Capable had brothers. She’d held them in her arms, and whispered their names in their ears over and over in hopes that they would remember who they were. (No War Pup ever remembered who they were by the time they were a War Boy)
July 14, Something New:
New Fandom — Frankenstein
we face the night by hilaryfaye | E | Creature/Elizabeth Lavenza
I no longer claim to know why Victor said that I died that night. I believed once that I knew him, likely better than anyone in the world, but after that night we became strangers to each other in a way that we could not repair. Did he believe he was shielding his father and brother from a greater horror? Was it truly easier to face the notion of me dead, than me lost to him? Better a martyr, perhaps, than a saint defiled.
let them come and tear us free (we are bound eternally) by hilaryfaye | E | Creature/Elizabeth Lavenza/Victor Frankenstein
Victor speaks of me too kindly. I know this. He paints me as a saint because it is easier for him, I think. He imagines that he can make for himself a childhood that was innocent and guiltless, myself an angel found in humility. It is not true, of course.

eddie left when he was like. 19. 20. he went to war. came back different, or did he really come back at all? and then he was gone again…
if eddie left for the first time at 20 and sophia was like 14 and adriana was 9 and there was a baby in the house whenever shannon had work… and shannon was so cool. even cooler because their parents didn’t like her. she was their sister! eddie married her! she was their sister! but there was a baby in the house, for a few years. that was their little baby too! he was their nephew but they were still so young and i bet they loved him like a tiny baby brother!
(when the baby comes, adriana is almost the same age eddie was when she was born. isn’t that funny. isn’t that heartbreaking in a way you’re not old enough to understand yet.)
and then five years later eddie takes him away and and shannon is already gone and sophia is about to go to college and adriana is still only 14 years old and shes suddenly all alone for the first time ever. no older siblings. no little baby who isn’t a baby anymore. just her and her mom and her dad and her big big teenage feelings.
(she’s 14 years old and her sisterinlaw is gone and her olderbrother leaves and her nephewlittlebrother leaves and her oldersister leaves. and then the next time she sees shannon she’s in a casket. and adriana is around the age that her brother was when he went to war. and now her almostsortofsister is dead and she never said goodbye.)
and then its a decade after everyone left and she’s a few years finished with college and starting a career and she’s the age her brother was when he left for good, or so she thought, and suddenly her nephew is back and he’s a teenager now and she still doesn’t really know what happened. she’s 24 and trying to figure out her life and she remembers her big brother fighting SO hard to keep his baby who’s not a baby anymore. she heard him and their parents fight, every time, they were never quiet and she heard it all and she doesn’t know why her nephew is back and her brother isn’t and her mom just smiles and says its better this way, don’t worry. and then her brother is back too and suddenly its 10 years ago, 15 years ago, because he’s a ghost. again. and it’s different this time but somehow its the same because eddie is home but he’s not and she’s never seen so clearly how poorly it fit. she shape of the son her parents wanted. he was better at fitting inside of it, even when he was fighting with them, even when he was a ghost. he was so much better at—what she now knows is—pretending. and she realizes she never really knew her brother at all, did she. they grew up separately. he never saw her become a person and she never saw him make the same transition. they’re different now. but somehow its all the same.
if eddie was chris’ age when he met shannon and sophia was chris’ age when eddie enlisted and adriana was chris’ age when eddie and chris left for california and now chris is this age when he decided to run away from home… its the same ghost, somehow. it’s different. it will never be the same. it will never be different. who are you who were you supposed to be who did you become you were my brother and I never knew you. do i get to know you now?
thinking about eddie diaz and his little sisters and spiraling into a catastrophic depression

The Book Thief
Thirty steps towards a gaudy looking building in the corner and then back to the plaza. Thirty-seven towards stalls in the corner. Guardsman continued his route with monotony worth of a machine. Thirty-two steps through the east side of the market. Little did he realize he is being watched closely by two grey eyes. Twenty-two steps back. Getting tired already, soldier?
The town was just in the middle of the celebration of Wintersun. Streets were full of merry people shopping for an upcoming feast. Heavy snowing of past days finally stopped, making the clearing of snow most frequent pastime until now. And guards were getting sloppy. Perfect opportunity for pickpockets. Sophia carefully watched patrols going around the market in slow strides as they made their routes with little effort as possible. It was getting quite dark, but the crowd wasn’t getting any smaller. Which made her plan more difficult or maybe easier, depends on how you looked at it. But one thing was sure, she was not interested in customers purses at all.
Her focus lied in the corner of the plaza. The simple cart was approaching the market with one draught horse silently huffing white clouds as it breathed. She saw what was inside. Drawn to it like a moth to the flame. Tucked in between different sized goods was a leather-bound square package.
Confiscated books.
The cart itself, manned by two vice-guards, was almost empty with only some scare supplies and forfeited packages given in by some poor scared soul. Nothing unusual except a few illegal spellbooks which got mixed in. Seems like guards weren’t fully realizing what they were carrying either. If it wasn’t some elaborate inquisitor trap that is. It was just too much of good opportunity to miss. Or get killed. Sceptical voice ran through her head. But if these books got into guard’s barracks or inquisitor’s hands, she will never be able to reach them again. No, this was the best opportunity she got.
Sophia sensed as hair stand up on the nape of her neck as a passing guard measured her with rising suspicion. She looked inside of nearest stall pretending sudden interest in marzipan candy in most leisure poise she could manage. Just another child caught in holiday spirit nothing more. The pressure slowly dissipated, and she almost sighed in relief. There were many urchins in this town and her being all alone really didn’t help either. Luckily, she has always known when she was being watched. Stronger the intent stronger the feeling.
The cart now stopped and both of guards got down simultaneously. First of them just right away started to argue with a near merchant, the second one stayed looking after the cart. It is her who was a problem. She who had no interested in ongoing argument and was looking very bored, but also watching her surroundings very carefully. Sophia tucked her loose strand of brown hair back under the hood to soothe her nerves. Time to make a round through the market and keep away from the crowd.
Finally, the second guard moved from her spot, most probably called over by her colleague who seemed to been losing his patience with the merchant. And just like that cart is left unattended albeit only for a short moment. She had to be quick, the opportunity window was quite small.
Just one book, just one. Anything more is too greedy. And greedy thieves don’t live very long.
Something in her mind screeched in warning as she starts to move, sliding closer to the cart. Quick glance on the back of guard who is now lazily striding to join her colleague. Still turned, good. Sophia hunches down to make herself look smaller as she approaches horse in front of the cart and dives behind it to hide from crowd eyes.
She pats the animal with a soothing gesture as to plead for its cooperation. The horse looks tired almost apathetic to her presence. She is now tucked behind it, safe from prying eyes of patrolling guards. The only patrol that would have a clear view of her now have another two minutes to finish their route. If they don’t shorten it from boredom off course.
It is too late to back out now. Both guards are on the opposite side of the cart and their attention is on the merchant. She takes a small knife to her now sweaty palm and makes her way to the side of the cart where books are closest. One to three slices with a knife to cut the rope holding covers of the cart creates gap big enough for her to reach through. The leather package is just on the other side and she mostly feels it instead of seeing it as she focuses her magic senses towards guards who threaten to potentially see her small stunt. Leather stripes are quick work for her sharp blade. One step closer to her price. She is now running her fingers over book covers. There it is! Small electroshock accompanied by a sense of familiarity. This one! As she claws at the chosen book with one hand to pull it out. As she finally frees it rest of the books just thuds on each other in way louder noise then she expected. Or it was only loud in her head?
But the book is in her hands now and she just hastily shoving it under her slightly oversized coat. Got to love winter clothes. Looking back at guards is too scary now so she just turns around tiptoeing away from the cart as fast as she can. Takes two quick breaths as she seizes an opportunity with a passing couple too drawn to each other to notice anything to stand up and act all casual.
Her heart racing a million miles an hour. Passing looks and casual attention from the crowd now burns as hot iron put straight to her skin. She is now hugging herself quite awkwardly as she tries to prevent the book from slipping out under her coat. Her huddled figure is making way away from busy streets at a steady pace.
She did it! She took a spellbook and nobody is any wiser. Now just avoid the sight of patrols on the market for few days and vice-guards probably for rest of her life. Her thundering heart was finally slowing down as she thinks what to do next. Time to drift to another city just to be sure.

Chapter Two | Masterlist
She sat on the subway with an anxious pit in her stomach and her purse held close to her chest. Her laptop in her bag, she didn’t want to lose it on her way to the most important meeting of her whole life.
Her story was becoming a book, she was almost done the final draft, they were making touch-ups to the cover and picking the type of paper today.
Her dreams were coming true within the next month, soon she’d have a physical copy of her book, her pre-sales were showing that she’d be on the bestseller list, and her name was finally going to be on the cover of this one.
She sighed and reached for her necklace, holding it between her fingers as she took a few deep breaths. She was doing so much better today than she was last year and it was all because of Spencer, he was the best thing to happen to her. To think she complimented his sweater vest and now he’s the only person in her life she can count on.
All she can think about is him for the rest of her journey, through 4 more stops she keeps her eyes closed as she thinks of all his little facts and his cute laugh. She smiles to herself and the anxiety slips away, she loves him and she knows that for sure, but she just doesn’t know how she loves him.
She’s never had a sibling, her best friends are all women, her previous boyfriends were all shit and her other sugar daddies were never this wonderful, and her parents are lesbians… she doesn’t know what her feelings really are for Spencer, mainly because she’s never known any other men to compare him to.
But she does know the exact moment she realized she fell for him.
He booked a hotel room in DC after a local case, asking her to meet him in there at 10 pm. She was waiting in the bathtub when he arrived, bubbles galore, her hair up and arms open, “welcome home, honey.”
He laughs, “you want me to get in there with you?”
She just nods, “let me take care of you, daddy?”
He takes off his blazer, pulls his tie off and starts to unbutton his shirt. She watches patiently as he gets undressed, and it’s not sexual to her. He’s her person, her best friend, the only human being she would ever share a moment like this with and that’s when it hits her.
She doesn’t accept it just yet.
It’s not until he’s lying on her chest, between her legs, cheek resting on her boobs as she runs a sponge over his back while he gives her a little run down on his terrible week. His co-worker almost died, his mom is stressing him out, the only good thing he has left is her and she knows that.
“And then I get to my moms facility and she’s had a really good day, she knows me and she knows all of my childhood again and she’s all right there in front of me and yet she’s so far away. I’m never going to get all the time I want with her and it’s really hard to accept.”
He shares things with her that he doesn’t even tell his therapist. Because his therapist doesn’t hold him like a child against her chest and tell him he’s okay when he get’s upset.
Y/N loves him, so she kisses his forehead, “I’m so sorry, I have 2 moms if you’d like to have one?”
“It’s okay, I would love to meet them sometime though,” he wraps his arms around her waist a little tighter under the water. “Thank you for tonight.”
“Did I mention my leg is 44 inches from hip to toe?” She asks in the middle of the silence, quoting pretty woman, knowing he hasn’t seen that far into the movie yet. “So basically we’re talking about 88 inches of therapy for the bargain price of $800 dollars a week.”
Her legs wrap around him and their naked bodies are closer than they’ve ever been and yet it’s completely platonic, “I’d spend a million dollars on you if it always meant feeling this good after.”
She runs her cheek along his wet hair as he snuggles into her neck, “mmm, I like the sound of that,” she teased. “My million dollar man.”
Her stop rolls around and she pulls herself out of her day dreams to get off the train and head to her meeting. She smiles as she walks through the station, up the stairs and onto the busy downtown streets when she gets a text with Spencers special chime. She opens it when she gets to where she’s going, safely inside and in the waiting room.
Tumblr media
It makes her laugh in the waiting room. People look at her but she doesn’t care, he’s so special to her she feels butterflies in her stomach even when he’s not around.
Tumblr media
“Y/N!” She hears her name being called by her editor, he’s over ecstatic as he comes running out to get her. “Come, come we have so many choices to make!” He jumps up and down as he holds her arm, like a child in a candy store.
“Andy, chill man,” she laughs at him and plays it cool, “It’s just the cover being finalized.”
“It’s our baby!” He teases back, pushing his glasses up and tugging her behind the glass doors of the office.
She’s surrounded by people and paper and huge versions of her book cover. She has a sharpie as she fixed mistakes and jots down final ideas. “And I wan’t Phil to look more human and less like data from Star Trek?”
“But Dorothy looks okay?” The artist asks, nervously and Y/N can tell.
“She looks beautiful! You really brought her justice,” she smiles, “really she looks the same in my head! It’s just Phil and I’m sure it’s tough getting a drawing to look like a robotic human, let alone human.”
“I have some ideas?” She opens up more, taking her iPad out and sliding it across the table, “I wanted to give him more of a Sophia feel? His face is silicone but his joints and everything are more like an Elon Musk crash dummy.”
“That’s perfect!” She’s shocked, “why didn’t that go in the first draft?”
“I was worried it was too much,” she’s a little older than Y/N, and yet her anxiety is that of a teenage girl. “I’m going to get working on the final, do you want some emailed versions tonight?”
“Yes please,” she smiles.
“So we’re done?” Andy asks, “we’ve made all our final calls?”
“I believe we have,” Y/N closes her laptop and takes her phone out, taking a photo of the final rough sketch of her book cover on the table to send to Spencer before he comes to pick her up. She can’t wait to see him now.
They’re sitting side by side in matching spa robes, he’s getting a pedicure while she gets her nails done. Leaning back in her chair with a face mask and cucumbers on her eyes, she’s never felt more relaxed in her life. And just in time too, her back was killing her from writing, her knuckles hurt and she just needed a break.
Spencer did too, he was genuinely not having a good time at work anymore, every case made him spiral and he always looked to Y/N on days like that. They met more than once a week now, she got $800 every Friday and she didn’t even really need it anymore. He was coving for so much of her bills and lively hood that her savings account was growing and growing because of him.
For the first time in her life she thought she would be okay if a man left her. As terrible as it was, as much as her moms tried to raise her differently, she fell down the daddy issues rabbit hole and she’s never going to find her way out— however, luckily for her, Spencer is down here too, and he brought a flashlight.
He understands her, more than anyone else on earth. He knows all her secrets, every crush and bad grade and snide remark she’s ever kept to herself. He didn’t judge her, he could actually listen to her issues and tell her why she had them. He gave better advice than a therapist and he was able to get information for her if he didn’t know the answer to what she was going through.
He’s absolutely everything to her and yet he’s 14 years older than her, he’s still traumatized beyond belief, he’s sad and ashamed and recovering… but he’s the best man in the whole world and she wishes he could see that. If he just looked at himself from her eyes, if he felt how she did in her soul when they were together, he’d love himself.
They’re too relaxed to drive home, and Spencer knew that would happen beforehand, bringing her a change of clothes (lingerie) and that robe me mentioned. He books a hotel above the spa and takes her to it. Arms linked as they enter the suite, she’s amazed to find more than one gift bag on the bed.
“How many gifts is this now?”
“We’re at 5 out of 24.”
She laughs as she wraps her arms around him in a thank you hug, “this is what you consider 4 gifts? Spencer there are like 8 things on the bed, let alone the massage and manicure?”
“If you think this is too much I guess you’re going to get really mad next week,” he teases as she looks up at him with a surprised look on her face.
“Spencer, I am so busy next week, I cannot be galavanting around with my sugar daddy,” she tries to act like she doesn’t want to go on an adventure with him again.
The last trip they took was the best week of her life. They went to all the historical sites in the UK that she and Spencer had talked about. Mainly old churches and castles, strange poets graves, random art and most importantly; stone henge. It was a trip of a lifetime and he took it with her.
“I watched the rest of Pretty Woman the other day,” he smiles, “and I thought I’d pull an Edward Lewis and really surprise you because you deserve it.”
“You know how the movie ends, right?” Her heart beats really fast in her chest and she wants him to love her so bad but it’s also terrifying now that she’s this close.
“He lets her choose,” he whispers.
“He rescues her,” she corrects him.
“And she rescues him right back,” he really did watch the end of the movie.
It makes her heart skip a beat as she swallows sharply, “what does this mean for us?”
“I have a whole plan, a whole sequence of events I want to stick to. I wanted to make you fall in love with me this week and ask you on your birthday, can we still do that?” He pleads with her, he’s so serious. He’s clearly put a lot of effort into this.
“Absolutely,” she smiles, “but if you’re going to make me wait that long for you to ask, you still can’t kiss me till then. No matter how much I already love you.”
“Really?” He’s so soft with her, she knows he’s not reacting to the teasing. He’s never had someone tell him they love him and then stay after.
“I would never lie to you about that, spence. I know what love means to you, I know how scared you are and I’m scared too. But I know there is no one else in the whole world I’d rather be scared with than you,” she holds him tighter and rubs her nose against his, “so what’s in the bags, daddy? Finish your surprise.”
She plays along perfectly, stepping back and hauling him towards the bed. “I got you some outfits and things for the next 2 weeks, we have a few things planned. We’re going on a flight soon, I have new luggage being delivered to your apartment this week and we’re going to see your moms for 3 days.”
“No,” she shakes her head, “there’s no way, Spencer, I haven’t seen them in 5 years, I’m going to cry.”
“I know,” he cups her jaw with his hand. “They’re really excited to see you.”
She hugs him tight, kissing his neck as she holds him. “Thank you, daddy, do you want me to put something on for you now?”
“I’m just going to take it off you, plus, what your wearing is sexy enough, he whispers back. “You’re always so beautiful, baby.”
“I thought you were saving the best for last?” She asks as she pulls back, overly eager and he can tell.
“I want to repay the favour from the other night.”
She doesn’t mean to gasp and yet she does, “please?”
He pulls on the tie of her robe, opening it enough to snake a hand behind her back and draw her in with a hand on her bare back. “Please what?”
“Please, daddy?” She looks up with her best begging eyes, perfect pout and all. “I want you to touch me, I promise I’ll be a good girl.”
He steps away from her to swipe all the bags off the bed before picking her up and laying her back against the pillows. He kisses down her body, hand on her lover back as she arches, he drags his bottom lip from her belly button to her cleavage. Nipping and sucking at the exposed skin on her chest, pulling her breasts out of the bra to suck on her nipples, she moans and it’s louder than she expected.
As she plays with his hair, he marks her, bruising small little love bites all the way down as he makes his way between her legs, “take me, please?”
He’s been dreaming of this for so long, he can’t even give you an accurate number of times his mind has drifted to the thought of how wonderful she would taste, how beautiful she’d sound…
“Tell me how badly you want me?” He asks as he spreads her legs and kisses her left thigh.
“I haven’t had sex in 10 months while waiting for you. Daddy, please you’ve owned me for so long, just take what’s yours already for gods sa- OH!”
With a broad lick, his tongue flattens against her core and it shuts her up. She gets what she wants, holding into his hair as she tosses her head back, taking it all in and enjoying it. He’s been on her mind for months, every time her vibrator was where he is now, she thought of him. he’s been the man of her dreams longer than she’s known him, and he was proving it.
“Right there, daddy,” she speaks through shallow breaths, “do you know how much I’ve thought of this?”
“You know I don’t,” the vibrations of his voice against her skin are glorious, he looks up at her through his lashes as his tongue flicks over her clit and she shakes a bit.
“Fuck,” she gasps, gripping his hair tighter, “better than I thought you’d be, fuck, too bad you— Jesus, don’t have the stash anymore…”
He stops and looks up at her, the smirk on his face glistening with her juices, “the stash?”
She nods, “I’ve thought about calling it the pussy tickler,” she teases, running her hand down his cheek and swiping her thumb across his bottom lip before bringing it up to her mouth to taste, “I want more of you.”
He kisses back up her body and she reaches for his robe the second he’s close enough. “Just grind against me? I know you’re waiting but we can still feel good together?”
He kisses the side of her mouth and she takes that as a yes, wrapping her legs around him so his hard cock is pressed right against her core as they move their hips in synchronicity with each other. His breathing is heavy as he kisses her cheek and jaw, her nails scratch down his back, he feels absolutely amazing against her.
She feels so empty, she wants him so bad she’s clenching around nothing as she squirms against his cock and wishes she was full.
“I wish I could move time,” she whispers. “Fuck, why can’t it be my birthday?”
He laughs against her, grazing his teeth over her neck and drawing another moan from her but then he stops moving his hips, “why are you so impatient?”
“Remember I said I stopped enjoying everything? Well, taking a 10 month break from sex and thinking about you every time I got off has made me desperate,” her hand cups his cheek, “I’d wait forever for you, but a girl needs to be fucked hard every once in a while.”
Only she could find a way to make something both profoundly beautiful and whorish at the same time, he loved her for it and she knew that now. He smiles and leaned in to rub his nose against hers and it takes everything in her not to kiss him. The same way it was taking everything in him not to slip into her as he began to grind against her once more.
She’s so close, the accidental edging has added a whole new level of desperation she’s never felt before. She wants to cum for him so bad, but more importantly she wants him to cum for her.
“Take my bra off,” she whispers, Spencer’s hands travel behind her back to unclasp it and he helps her out of it before tossing it to the floor.
“Cum for me daddy,” she whispers in his head with a hand in his hair, gripping him tightly as he bites at her neck, “cover me with your cum like you’re marking your territory.”
“Shit,” his hips sputter against hers.
“Say it, I know you want to,” she teases, so close to the edge but it’s too good of an opportunity. She loves seeing him fall apart like this and she can’t wait to see it again. “Who’s am I?”
“Daddy’s girl.”
He grinds down on her harder and faster and she’s so close, the bubble in her gut is reaching a fever pitch and with a gasp, she’s cumming and then she feels it. His load covers her stomach as he pants against her neck and grips her hips tighter as he comes down.
She wraps her arms around him and holds him as close as humanly possible, her breathing still heavy as he rises and falls on her chest. He’s heavy but she doesn’t care, she just kisses the top of his head and thanks him.
He brushes his nose against her neck, nuzzling her like a cat, “do you really mean it?”
“What, honey?” He remembers so much, this could be a question about something she said 2 months or 2 minutes ago and she has no clue.
“You’re not just playing along with my kinks right, you genuinely want to be mine?”
For being her million dollar man, his heart sure was broke. This is why he wasn’t ready, he still didn’t understand why she would want to stay without anything in return, he’s gotten so used to paying her for her time now that his anxiety has managed to convince him that she’ll leave when he stops being worth it to her.
“What does my necklace say?” She asks, knowing how close he was to it. “Read it to me, I forget.”
“Daddy’s girl,” he smiles again.
She soothes her hands over his back, “I would do anything with you because I love and trust you, but also because everything you do is sexy… you could read me the dictionary and I’d still want you to pump me full of cum after.”
“It sounds so crude after,” he laughs, “speaking of, we really need to have a shower.”
“I’ll wash your back if you wash mine?” She teases as he gets up.
“Only if you let me wash the front too?”
She smacks his bare ass and races him into the bathroom, turning on the water and getting in with him while still laughing and carrying on. He’s her best friend in the whole world, there’s no one else she would rather do this with… there was no one she has done this with. No one has made her feel this good, before during and after sex.

A big, messy Linked Universe playlist
Link for Links
Heavy on the angst, because of who I am as a person. (At the same time, don’t take it too seriously, man.)
Influenced by canon, manga (TP Link is really Going Through It™ ), my personal perceptions, and popular fandom canon.
A pretty wide variety of genres, with a bias towards metal and prog rock.
I kept snippets of lyrics for most songs, also because of who I am as a person. (Some were particularly hard to narrow down to just one verse or chorus.) Those - and a little more rambling - are under the cut if you really want, in the order of the playlist. But. It’s long.
I didn’t initially make this with the intent to share, but hey. Throughout my past year+ of listening, I’ve been haphazardly adding songs to a playlist I very creatively named Links. If something reminded me of them, whether through the music or lyrics or both, I threw it on the playlist, so some songs might seem odd or vague. Some are really on the nose, as subtle as a sledgehammer. (Sky for Sky? Dude. Sorry.) Some are there because of a fitting line or two that stuck in my head. Ultimately, music - like any form of creative expression - can be interpreted in a multitude of ways.
My listening habits and tastes are erratic, which is why this is one big, jumbled playlist and not separated for different Links. Not to mention if I did that, some (Wild, Legend) would have a lot and some (Wind, Four) would have none, both because of my own familiarity with them, and because of the general themes of the music I tend to listen to. Most songs are a general ‘hero’s spirit reborn’ mood, anyway - those are the first part of the playlist. The second half is more nuanced to specific Links, plus a few Ganon vibes.
1. Deep Purple - April (Koji Kondo, composer of the original Legend of Zelda theme, was into Deep Purple as a kid, and it shows.)
2. Kamelot - Regalis Apertura
3. Au4 - So Just Hang On, Beautiful One (I’ve posted this here before. I can’t hear it without thinking of LU now.) So I slipped in through the gate almost unknown. All my border stamps were late. Seven days old. Cold hand griped my shoulder blade, broke the bone. Bloody nose and turned away, all the way home.
4. FC Kahuna - Hayling Don’t think about all those things you fear, just be glad to be here
5. Glass Animals - Youth Boy, when I left you you were young I was gone, but not my love You were clearly meant for more Than a life lost in the war
6. Pain of Salvation - Restless Boy A restless boy in a world too slow A flame born into cinder, ash, and glow I've given everything I gave it all Yet find myself alone
7. Haken - The Endless Knot Our design shifted frame by frame! Across the line our cycle starts to fail. Our design shifted frame by frame! Across the line we die to live again.   We need a story to believe in. We need a hero to prevail. We need a challenge we can overcome, it takes a tragedy to make us one
8. Kamelot - Memento Mori (I particularly associate this with Time and Twilight) I am the god in my own history The master of the game I may believe if she would come to me And whisper out my name Sometimes I wonder where the wind has gone If life has ever been Sometimes I wonder how belief alone Can cut me free from sin
9. Katatonia - Fighters Look I told you so We never stop If we said that We'll back it up For sure You know We're fighters
10. Megadeth - This Day We Fight! (I mean, all Links, but particularly Warriors) For this I was chosen, because I fear nothing With confidence I tread through the dead of the night Off to another war-torn, faraway battlefield Wherein lies a demonic enemy horde
11. Moon Tooth - Igneous Well, the spirit took me And this old broken body leapt up and danced Settin’ out Settin' out with all my heroes in a bundle at my back Hawk am I More wings span in my shadow than overcast Yeah, you know what they say Always need something to look up to, ha
12. Samael - Moongate Destiny, tomorrow is today Destiny, without boundaries How many nights will we spend together traveling infinity back and forth and again How many times will we go together questioning eternity about us about our wonders...
13. TOOL- Parabola This body holding me reminds me of my own mortality Embrace this moment, remember We are eternal, all this pain is an illusion
14. Lunatic Soul - Blood on the Tightrope No matter how hard you try To shut down your feverish thoughts They hunt you down with no regret Cause you have to fix it all
15. Hybrid - Keep It In The Family
16. Soul Savers - Unbalanced Pieces Gone, now carry on Through violent seasons I call you mother, mother, mother In vain, absent chain The twilight's bleeding And the playing board has two unbalanced pieces
17. Steve Von Till - Valley of the Moon All she gives is a stone facade Like ill-given flowers at a dead man's wake Here we slave for the dreams of another And fight over scraps like wayward dogs
18. Ludovico Einaudi - Experience
19. Lunatic Soul - Summoning Dance Three stones on the right side Three stones on the left My vicious circle of life and death   “Oh you want it” I hear it again “Oh you want it” My burden Curse to break
20. Lunatic Soul - Through Shaded Woods Run through your shaded woods Run through your shaded mind Run through the night Run away Run through the darkness Run
21. Lunatic Soul - Naavie
22. David Bowie - Nature Boy There was a boy A very strange, enchanted boy They say he wandered very far Very far, over land and sea A little shy and sad of eye But very wise was he
23. The Dandy Warhols - Sleep Well, I could sleep forever But it's of her I dream If I could sleep forever I could forget about everything
24. Au4 - Everyone is Everyone (and Everything is Everything) Tripping and tumbling, Flipping and fumbling. Flowing on the rivers of sadness That have been forever rumbling.   But from dawn until now Of all the paths that I could have gone down Of all the valleys That I could have been flowing through.   In spite of all the chaos And all that has come between us, How is it I still find myself Here with you.
25. Kingcrow - Everything Goes Your hands again upon the ground Falling rain for hours and hours As you learn the game Time dispels the fog ... Ever been there? Ever felt like prey? Ever thought your mind was feeble? Lot of things that don’t make sense
26. Pain of Salvation - Icon As a child I felt too old And now when I'm grown-up I feel too young A different kind so I've been told Just slightly out of reach and out of time
27. Sophia Loizou - Divine Interference (I got spooky dungeon vibes. Also, the title.)
28. Carpenter Brut - Fab Tool Runnin Gunnin Forward in the phantom shatter so grand Splatter grand, arcanum fuel Wrought iron out of the sky Over me, tells no lie
29. Blue Stahli - Death Will Have to Run All on the open road Where none will ever grow A journey toward the known With countless miles to go
30. Gyroscope - Mistakes & Ladders I am the first? No I can't be the first A continuous nothing, destined for something Tell me who you are and why you trapped me here
31. Queens of the Stone Age - Run, Pig, Run Run, pig, run Here I come

Chapter 14
Stiles Stilinski x OC!Reader Original Character story
word count: 4908
Plot: A Teen Wolf fanfiction based on an original character, Sophia Tuteur.Sophia Tuteur is Scott McCall’s cousin. They are both the same age, and she has been living with Scott and his mom since she was eight years old, since her parents are always on the road due to work. This is Sophia’s point of view to everything going on.
[a/n: IT’S FINALLY BACK!!!!!!!! Sorry it took so long for me to update this story! Honestly, no excuses, I just sort of lost inspiration once Teen Wolf ended. Let’s all agree there were certain aspects in the last season that just didn’t work/make sense. But I started rewatching Teen Wolf from the beginning again, and boy did I miss writing this story! So hopefully it was worth the wait! And please let me know if you want to be untagged!]
Tumblr media
"So wait, what did Derek want last night?" Scott asked as he, Stiles, and I walked through the school's halls towards the boys' locker room.
"The very same reason why Peter came to see me the night of the dance," I tell them, "to join his pack."
"What pack? It's just him," Stiles says confused, I just shrugged my shoulders.
"Why does he need you?" Scott asked.
"With a guardian in your pack it's sort of like an immunity," I tell him.
"Immunity for what?" Stiles asked.
"From what," I correct him, "Guardians are basically mediators between the shape shifters and hunters. When a guardian is in a pack it gives the pack a sort of immunity. Hunters are not allowed to attack without consulting the guardian. It's in the code."
"Woah. So, you're a peace maker," Stiles says in awe.
"Essentially," I smile, "Derek knows that if I'm in his pack the Argents can't try anything."
"So what did you tell him?" Scott asked.
"Told him that I would only join if you agreed to as well," I tell him.
"Well that's not going to happen," Stiles scoffs.
Scott and I share a look, I raised my eyebrows at him, silently asking him the question.
"Right?" Stiles asked with a slight panic in his voice.
"Right," Scott says, "I'm not joining his pack."
"Then neither am I," I nod my head agreeing.
"Now that we're all on the same page," Stiles says stopping just outside the boys' locker room, "The full moon tonight."
"Don't worry, I have it under control now," he tells us.
Stiles and I look at each other then back at Scott, sharing the same skeptical look.
"I'm serious," he says, "It's not like the last full moon. I don't feel the same."
"This is all you," I pat Stiles on the shoulder, "I'm heading to the library for my free period."
I walk away from them heading towards my destination. As I rounded the corner, another body came rushing into mine.
"Oh, I'm so sorry Sophia," I look up at Isaac, who looks like a nervous wreck.
"No worries," I smile at him.
"Sorry, I thought I was going to be late for practice," he says lifting his lacrosse stick.
"Well, you better hurry, don't want to hear Coach yelling," I step to the side.
"Thanks," he said quickly rushing away.
As I continued walking down the hall, I noticed a lot of whispering going on between the other students. As I turned the corner I see why.
Allison and Lydia are stopped at Lydia's locker. Allison spots me while Lydia was grabbing things from her locker. She waves, but before I could wave back, I felt a buzz in my back pocket.
I pulled out my phone to see a text from Stiles,
Scott senses another werewolf in the locker room! Get to the field NOW!
Another werewolf in the school
I quickly turned back around and made my way to the lacrosse field.
[Third Person POV]
"Who are you waving at?" Lydia asked Allison, seeing no one down the hall.
"Oh, uh Sophia," Allison tells her, "but guess she had somewhere to be."
"Who?" Lydia asked confused.
"Sophia. Scott's cousin," Allison says, "she helped saved your life the night of the dance."
"Oh," Lydia uncomfortably shifts, "The one sleeping with Derek Hale."
"What? No, she's not," Allison says.
"That's what they all say," Lydia says closing her locker door and walking down the hall, Allison following behind.
[Sophia's POV]
I quickly walked over to Scott who was sitting at the players' bench.
"Do you know who it might be?" I asked him.
"No, I have no idea," he says as we both look around the field. Stiles comes running over to us.
"I told Coach you're switching with Danny for the day," Stiles tells him.
"But I hate playing goalie," Scott tells him not understanding what Stiles is telling him.
"Remember when I said I had an idea?" Stiles asks him again, Scott nodded his head yes, "This is the idea."
"Oh," Scott said.
"There you go," Stiles encouraged, smiling over at me.
"What's the idea?" Scott asked still not getting it, causing me to roll my eyes.
"I seriously don't understand how you survive without me sometimes," Stiles exasperatedly said, rolling his eyes.
I shook my head at them and walked away to go find a spot on the bleachers. I sat down on the first row, getting myself somewhat comfortable to seeing how this will all play out.
I couldn't believe what I am watching. Scott is tackling all of the players and smelling them. I shook my head and put my head in my arms.
"He can't be serious," I whisper to myself in disbelief over how ridiculous this all is.
I hear a whistle and look over towards Stiles, who is pointing at Isaac and mouthing out, "It's him."
Shit.
I glance at Isaac who looks like he's trying to control his anger. Keyword, trying.
Jackson walks over and sits on the player's bench, opting out of getting slammed by Scott.
I nervously glance between Scott and Isaac as they take their places. They both take off at the sound of Coach's whistle, colliding with one another very dramatically.
Werewolves.
Coach blew his whistle obviously mad at Scott again.
I look to the right and notice Sheriff Stilinski and two deputies walking on the field. Stilinski ignores Stiles as he tries to ask his dad something and heads straight to Coach.
"Everyone take a break," Coach yells, "Lahey come here please."
Isaac walks slowly over to the deputies and Coach. I quickly make my way over towards the boys.
"What are they saying?" I ask Scott.
"His father's dead," he says, "They think he was murdered.
We watch as they slowly take Isaac away.
"Are they saying he's a suspect?" Stiles asks."I'm not sure. Why?"
"Because they can lock him in a holding cell for twenty-four hours-"
"Like overnight?" Scott interrupts.
"During the full moon," Stiles nods.
"That's not good," I say, looking at Scott.
"How good are these holding cells at holding people?" Scott asks Stiles.
"People? Good," Stiles grimly says, "Werewolves? Probably not that good."
"Remember when I said I don't have the urge to maim and kill?"
"Yeah, why?" I ask.
"He does," he says pointing his chin towards Isaac.
We all turn our attention back towards Isaac who is being escorted towards the locker room.
Coach dismisses the team after ten minutes, probably to give Isaac some time to gather his things.
As we make our way to Mr.Harris's chemistry class, we quietly talk about the Isaac situation.
"Why would Derek choose Isaac?" Stiles asks, the question more pointed towards me.
"I don't know," I lift my hands up in defense, "He didn't even tell me last night that he turned someone. Let alone another teenager."
"Peter told me that if the bite doesn't turn you, it can kill you," Scott says, "And maybe teenagers have a better chance at survival."
"Not entirely," I mumbled.
"What do you mean?" Scott asked me.
"Nothing," I quickly say.
"What aren't you telling us?" Stiles asks, stopping us before we walked into the class.
"Nothing that's for me to tell," I say, shifting uncomfortably.
I quickly made a dash inside the class before they could question me any longer. I took my normal seat in front of the boys and took my things out, letting them know that I'm done having this conversation while we're in class.
"Danny, where's Jackson?" I hear Stiles ask Danny, who sits behind them.
"In the principal's office, talking to your dad," he tells him.
"What? Why?"
"Maybe because he lives across the street from Isaac," he condescendingly says.
"Witness," I hear Scott whisper.
"We gotta get to the principal's office," Stiles tells him.
I shake my head and roll my eyes at them. These two are literally begging to get in trouble now.
"How?" Scott asks him.
"Everyone please turn to page seventy-three," Mr. Harris asks with his back turned towards the class, while he writes on the chalkboard.
All of a sudden a paper ball goes flying passed me hitting Harris right in the back of his head. I sat there shocked.
"Who in the hell did that?" He abruptly turned around.
I place my head in my hands, shaking my head as Harris tells the boys to go to the principal's office.
I didn't even bother to watch as the boys walked out of the class.
After a few minutes I realized I never went to the bathroom during my free period, and I really had to go now. I hesitantly raised my hand, hoping Harris won't give me a hard time.
"Ms. Tuteur, do you need to go to the principal's office as well?" He smugly asked.
"No, actually can I go to the restroom?" I asked.
"No," he rudely said about to turn around.
"Sir, you may want to reconsider your answer," I tell him, holding up a tampon, causing some of the class to snicker.
"Uh-okay go," he tripped over his words, face beet red as he quickly wrote a hall pass.
"Thank-you," I smiled, grabbing the hall pass on my way out.
I make my way to the restroom and forgot that I would have to walk pass the principal's office on my way.
"Sophia, come to join us?" Stiles asks with a smile on his face.
"Nope, just going to the restroom," I tell him, and for some reason I decide to stop.
"Harris let you out?" Scott asks surprise that I was let out.
I hold up a tampon. Stiles eyes went wide.
"You're not on your period," Scott announces, taking Stiles and I by surprise.
"How the hell do you know that?" I ask him, unsure how I should feel.
"Well, one, we've been living together for years," he says in a matter of fact tone,"and two, werewolf."
"Going to pretend that this conversation never happened," I tell him.
"Do you want to know what's going on?" Stiles says.
I thought that over for a second, "No, but I'm sure you're going to tell me anyways."
Before they could say anything the door to the office opens, and Sheriff Stilinski and a deputy walk out. He looks over at the three of us completely annoyed.
"Why am I not surprised to see you three out here," he says, we all shrug in response like children who just got caught with their hands in the cookie jar.
"Why are you three here?" he sternly asks.
I hold up my tampon and hall pass, smiling innocently. He quickly clears his throat embarrassed.
"Dad, what's going on with Isaac?" Stiles asks.
"Do you guys know Isaac?" he ignores Stiles' question.
"Not much, apart from lacrosse," Scott tells him.
"Kind of," I quietly say, suddenly finding my feet more interesting.
"Kind of?" Stilinski repeats.
"Well, we're friends," I say looking up and fidgeting with my fingers, "He also kind of asked me out to the dance."
"What? Why?" Stiles abruptly asks, standing up.
"You know guys do actually like me, right?" I snap at him, completely offended by his reaction.
He slinks back down in his seat, a bit ashamed at himself.
Stilinski clears his throat, "When was the last time you spoke to Isaac?"
"We ran into each other today on our way to free period."
"But other than that, I haven't spoken to him since a couple of nights ago," I say, "I offered to help with our chemistry. Homework. Our chemistry homework."
I tripped over the last of my words, feeling my face heat up a bit and avoiding eye contact.
Stilinski remained quiet, looking between the three of us trying to figure out if what we're telling him is the truth.
"May I leave now?" I ask holding up the tampon.
"Oh, yeah. Go ahead," he clears his throat.
I hurried away from all of them. Thankful that that was done. Guess that's what I get for lying about my period.
As I walk out of class I find Stiles waiting there for me. I go to ignore him until he says something that catches my attention.
"Gerard Argent is our new principal," he tells me.
"What? How?" I ask.
"No clue," he says, as we walk towards our lockers.
We walk in silence.
"So I got detention," he says.
"Good, that's what you get," I remark, stopping at my locker to swap out the things I would need for homework tonight.
"Soph," he quietly says watching me, "Sophia, can you please look at me?"
I remain silent, handing him a book as I place another one in my locker.
"Sophia," he says grabbing my hand with his empty one. I look at our connected hands.
"I know you're mad about what I said," he says, "but I didn't mean it like that. It just took me by surprise, that's all."
"What, that a boy can like me?" I ask, hurt by his lackluster apology.
"No, of course not," he defends, "Was just surprised to hear that Isaac had asked you to the dance. That's all. Trust me, I know that guys like you."
"If this is your way of apologizing, it's crap."
"I'm sorry," he apologizes, "I didn't mean it that way. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings."
"Okay."
"That's it?"
"I accept your apology," I tell him, "but I have to go tutor some freshman and I can't be late."
"Sophia, I really am sorry," he says before bending down and placing a soft kiss to my lips.
"Apology accepted," I smile at him.
"I better hurry, don't want to be late for detention with Harris," he says before kissing my cheek and running off.

As I was cleaning up my spot at the library, my phone buzzed on the table. Seeing that I was the only one here, aside from the librarian I didn't see any issue with answering.
I looked down to see Allison's name flash across my screen.
"Hey Allison, what's up?" I answered, balancing my phone with my shoulder as I continued to pack.
"So we might have a problem," she says.
"What do you mean?" I asked, throwing my backpack over my shoulder and walking out of the library.
"My dad and grandpa were asking me all these questions about Lydia and how she was bitten by Peter, and then they sent this guy out-"
"What guy?" I spot Stiles walking in the parking lot towards his car, and yell out his name.
As I reach him I put my phone on speaker.
"He was dressed as a Sheriff's deputy," she says, "They're sending him to go get Isaac."
I look at Stiles with a worried look on my face.
"He was also carrying this box with something etched onto it," she says, we can hear shuffling on the other side as she searched for something, "Hold on, it's in one of these books. I'm sending you a picture."
"Did you get it?" She asked, as we wait for the picture to finish loading.
"Shit," I whispered once it loaded.
"What?" Allison asked, "Do you know what it is?"
"Yeah, it's wolfsbane," Stiles says, looking over at me just as worried as I am.
"What does that mean?" she asked.
"It means they're going to kill him," Stiles says looking at me.
"I can slow him down," Allison blurts out.
"Allison are you sure?" I ask her.
"Yes, he just left. I can catch up to him."
"Okay. Call us immediately after and if anything goes wrong," I tell her before hanging up.
Stiles and I quickly get into Roscoe, as he starts up the car I start dialing a number.
"What are you doing?" he asked as he pulled out of the parking spot.
"Calling Scott and Derek," I tell him.
Tumblr media
On our way to meet Derek, my phone begins to ring. I answer it pressing the speaker button.
"Hey, did you slow him down?" Stiles asks.
"You could say that."
"Okay, well we're heading to the station," I tell her.
"Where's Scott?" she asks.
"Isaac's."
"Does he have a plan?"
"Yeah, but not a very good one," Stiles says, "and unfortunately we don't really have time to come up with anything better."
We hang up the phone as we're approaching Derek's car a block away from the station. I climb into the back as Derek enters the car.
"Are you sure its wolfsbane?" he asks as Stiles continued down the street.
"Yeah," I say showing him the picture.
"Okay. Now, the keys to every cell are in a password-protected lock-box in my father's office. The problem is getting past the front desk," Stiles explains to Derek.
"I'll distract her," Derek says nonchalantly, shrugging his shoulders.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa! You? You're not going in there," Stiles says placing his hand on Derek, causing Derek to glare at him.
"I'm taking my hand off," he says slowly pulling his hand away.
"I was exonerated."
"You're still a person of interest," Stiles debates.
"An innocent person."
"An-" Stiles says in disbelief, "You? Yeah right!"
"Stiles, cut it out," I sternly tell him.
"Okay, fine. What's your plan?" Stiles says turning towards Derek, arms crossed across his chest.
"To distract her," Derek slowly says, as if it's the most obvious thing in the world.
"How? By punching her in the face?" Stiles remarked, getting on both mine and Derek's nerves.
"Stiles, just let him do it," I roll my eyes, "We need to hurry."
"I just want to know what he's going to do."
"I'm going to talk to her," Derek says.
"Okay. All right. Give me a sample. What are you gonna open with?" Stiles skeptically asks.
Derek remains quiet just starting at Stiles blankly.
"Dead silence. That should work beautifully," Stiles sarcastically says, "Any other ideas?"
"I'm thinking about punching you in the face," Derek snidely says.
"Do it," I say in slightly serious yet playful tone.
Stiles whipped his head towards me completely offended. Derek starts climbing out of the passenger seat.
"Hurts doesn't it," I remark winking at him, then following Derek out.
Derek walks into the station with Stiles and I following close behind. While Derek approaches the empty front desk, Stiles and I watch from behind the lobby doors.
"Good evening, how can I help," the deputy trails off once looking up at Derek's face, "you."
"Hi," Derek smiles at her.
"Hi."
Stiles rolls his eyes, annoyed at Derek's plan actually working. I tried containing in my laughter at the scene in front of me. I don't think I've seen Derek smile like that before, or even flirt.
"Um, I had a question," Derek flirts, stumbling over his words a bit, "Um, sorry, I'm a little-a little thrown. I wasn't really expecting someone-"
"Like me?" she interrupts.
I tap Stiles on the shoulder, pointing for him to walk by while the deputy was distracted. Stiles dramatically looked around before dashing towards the door. I walked normally by, and giving Derek a thumbs up once I was through the door.
"Oh, I was gonna say so incredibly beautiful," he sheepishly says, "but, yeah... I guess that'd be the same thing."
"Next time you might want to have a little more confidence in Derek," I playfully tell Stiles as we make our way to his dad's office to get the key.
"I could've done that," he rolls his eyes.
"Yeah, sure you could've," I sarcastically say.
We quickly go into the office and Stiles finds the lock box while I stay on lookout. He puts the code in and opens the box to reveal that it's empty.
"It's empty," he says turning to me.
From the distance we can hear the keys jingling.
"He beat us," I tell him.
"I'll go find the key, you go get Derek," he tells me.
As we go into the hallway we run into a deputy.
"Oh I was just looking for-" Stiles says, but I grabbed his arm and nudged my head to the arrow in the man's leg.
This is the deputy the Argents sent to kill Isaac. Stiles and I looked at each other wide eyed.
The deputy looked between us, he went to reach for me but Stiles quickly got in front of me. The man settled on grabbing Stiles, and covering his mouth while holding the syringe of wolfsbane to his throat.
"Not a single scream," he threatened as he dragged Stiles away.
I looked to my right and noticed the fire alarm at arm's length. I quickly pulled the lever, and ran after the man and Stiles.
I stopped at the door way and noticed that Isaac's cell was opened and empty. The man let go of Stiles, just as confused as we were to see Isaac wasn't where he was supposed to be.
All of a sudden a werewolf version of Isaac leaped out at the deputy and grabbed him by the throat. They began to fight.
"Stiles, get behind the desk," I tell him grabbing his arm to take cover.
We watch as Isaac knocked out the deputy, as Derek made his way in stepping on the wolfsbane syringe.
Isaac is breathing heavily, before he looks over at where Stiles and I are hiding. Stiles holds onto me tight as Isaac growls at us and starts to make his way towards us. Before he could take a step towards us, Derek growls at him, which causes Isaac to cower to the floor and whimper.
Isaac looks up from his arms returning back to his normal self.
"How did you do that?" Stiles breathlessly asks.
"I'm the alpha," Derek smirks.
"We gotta go before Stiles' dad shows up," I tell Derek, getting up and making my way towards a still frighten Isaac.
"Hey, it's okay. You're okay," I kneel down in front of him, trying not to get too close so he has space to breathe.
"Isaac we're going to have to go now, okay," I stand up stretching out my hand for him to take.
He hesitantly looks between me, Derek, and Stiles.
"It's okay, you're not going to hurt me," I assure him.
He reaches up and takes my hand, I help him up onto his feet. I place his arm around my shoulder, even though our height difference is significant, him at 6ft and me at 5'2. I rub his back comfortingly.
"What am I supposed to do?" Stiles calls out.
"Stay here," Derek tells him, "Figure out something to tell you dad."
He comes over and helps me with Isaac, as I lead us out the back exit before we could get caught.
We quickly make our way to Derek's car. He helps me put Isaac in the backseat, while I sit in the front.
"Where are we going to take him?" I ask Derek as he begins to drive away.
"He'll stay with me," Derek says.
"With you? Where?" I ask, I haven't even had time to ask Derek where he's been staying at since the whole hunters fiasco.
"I got a place," he shrugs his shoulders like it's the most obvious thing in the world.
"Where?" I ask, annoyed at the amount of no detail he's giving me.
"You'll see," he says, causing me to roll my eyes.
"You're annoying," I remark.
"So are you," he quips, trying to make light of the situation we are currently in.
"You two know each other?" Isaac asks from the backseat.
"Eh," I jokingly say.
"Sadly," Derek mockingly jokes back.
"How?"
"Yeah Derek, how do we know each other?" I playfully ask him, as if I didn't know the answer. I just wanted to know how he would answer it.
"Old family friends," he says, keeping his focus on the road ahead.
"Wow," I say at his answer.
"What, it's true."
"That's such a lame answer," I tell him, I turn around in my seat to face Isaac, "I basically lived with Derek and his family until I was about 7/8 years old."
"So you know about this, all of this?" Isaac asks.
"Yeah, I do," I softly say, "If it were up to Derek, he would keep me locked in a closet and out of the way."
"Unfortunately for me, you would annoy the hell out of me thus having me release you," Derek jokes with a serious tone.
"I'm lovable," I smile, shrugging my shoulders.
"Yeah, you are," Derek sarcastically says.
"Yeah you are," Isaac softly says, causing me to blush and turn back around in my seat.
I purse my lips, trying to fight back the smile on my face. I can feel Derek side eye me to get a look at my reaction.
"Shut up Derek," I say, trying to fight the smile on my face, and maintain the redness in my face.
After awhile we pulled into Beacon Hill's warehouse district.
"This is where you live?" I ask him, as he parks his car in front of an abandoned building.
"For now, yes," he says turning his car off, "It's a good place to stay hidden and away."
We all get out of the car and follow Derek into his building.
"Wow, so homey," I comment, looking around the large barren space, that was poorly lit by the cheap lights that Derek turned on.
"It's a place to stay safe, away from the hunters," Derek remarks in a serious tone, "It doesn't need to be homey."
"I'll be right back. I'm going to go grab some things for you two to stay the night."
"Oh, I'm staying the night?" I ask.
"Yes, I don't want to leave Isaac alone," he says, "and you insisted on seeing where I lived."
"I can just take the Camaro."
"Yeah, no. I'll drop you off early tomorrow."
As Derek goes to god knows where in this place, I look over at Isaac who is still a bit shaken up.
"You okay?" I ask him.
"Yeah," he says unsure, "I think. It's just a lot."
"I know. I mean I wouldn't know, but I can imagine."
"I'm now a wanted man," he says, the realization of what's happening sinking in.
"Don't worry, we're going to figure this out," I tell him walking over to him, and placing my hand on his back.
"Thanks," he softly smiles looking down at me, "You're the only one who's still treating me the same."
"I know you Isaac, and I'm going to make sure nothing happens to you," I reassure him.
"Thank-you," he whispers.
We continue to stare at each other in a comfortable silence. I notice his eyes looking down at my lips then back up at my eyes real quick.
The gravity between our two faces slowly pulls us both into one another. I can feel his breath on my face and vice versa. We close our eyes and lean in,
"Sophia," Derek yells causing Isaac and I to quickly jump away from each other before our lips could meet.
"Yes," I clear my throat, embarrassed about what Derek just walked in on.
"You're going to sleep in my room," he protectively says, "Isaac you'll be sleeping out here on the couch."
Isaac nods his head as Derek handed him a bag, "Got these out of your house earlier."
"Thanks," Isaac says grabbing the bag from Derek, avoiding eye contact.
"Say goodnight Sophia," Derek says, standing next to me.
"Goodnight," I tell Isaac.
"Night," he nods, catching my eyes for a split second before he turns away to get ready for bed.
Derek escorts me to his room, that is actually a bit nicer.
"Should I even ask what was about to happen before I walked in," Derek says closing the door behind us, as I pick up the clothes he left for me on his bed.
"Nuh uh," I shake my head, making my way to the en-suite dimly lit restroom.
"Soph," Derek softly says catching my arm, "I get it okay. The whole teenage thing, I've been there. I just, need you to be careful."
"I will," I sincerely say, nodding my head understanding where he's coming from.
"I don't want to tell you how to live your life, because I'm the last person to judge. I just don't want you getting hurt," he genuinely says.
"Why are you so sure that I'm the one who's going to end up hurt?"
"Because I know you. I might not have been around for awhile, but I still know you Sophia," he says, "You love with your whole heart. You see the good in everybody, you want to believe that everyone is somewhat good. You're the little girl who believed in fairytales so deeply you would cry when someone told you they were fake,
"But you are also the little girl who believed everything. You want to see the good, and I get that maybe I'm a little cynical after all I've been through, but not everyone is good. Not everyone cares about you the way that you care about them. And I just don't want to see you taken advantage of because of that. Simply because someone takes your kindness as weakness."
"I'm not weak," I retort, trying not to cry at what Derek is saying.
"I'm not saying you're weak," he shakes his head, "Hell you're one of the strongest people I know, especially after all you've been dealt. I just want you to be careful about who you give your heart to."
"Can I get ready for bed now, I'm tired," I say looking away from him, trying to hide my watery eyes.
"Yeah, go ahead. I'm sorry."
"Uh-huh," I respond, closing the door behind me.
I'm not weak.
I am not weak.
"Yeah, then why are you crying?" my thoughts shoot back at me, as I glance in the mirror to see tears streaming down my face.

BACKGROUND.
son of an american father and a korean mother, julian’s birth was basically a mistake. it was just an affair, but the woman ended up pregnant and never told the man as he was on a business trip. still, his mother was so attached to this man that she risked it and named her son julian, with hopes that maybe someday he would meet his father. this was something extremely confused for him, as sometimes he would be called as julian at home and in school and town he was junho. something so simple, yet capable of creating confusion regarding julian’s personality.
he grew up in ilsan, getting interested in the rap/hip hop underground scene of the area from a very young age. despite being basically a child, he surrounded himself of people that taught him the basic. for a moment in his life, he was happy. he would go to school, making sure his grades were good so he could go with his superiors in the scene. he did that until he turned 14 years old and his life started crumbling. he didn’t notice, or perhaps he decided not to notice it but his mother was falling ill and she unexpectedly died. junho had no one, sunjung was an only daughter and both his grandparents were already dead and it was when he realized that he had to face the reality of being trapped in an orphanage.
it didn’t take long for authorities to take care of the issue, though when everything seemed to be lost he found a small box hidden in his mother room when he was packing his things. in the box, there were photos and letters signed by a man named dariel stewart. junho knew his father was american, but that was the only piece of information he ever had. digging deeper into the box, he found an unfinished letter written by his mother. in the letter, it was implied that it should have been sent to dariel way before he was born, explaining that she was pregnant but it seemed that she never had the guts to send it. junho didn’t hesitate and showed this to the social worker, having a small ray of hope that maybe he could finally meet his father and go with him instead of being thrown in an orphanage.
they reached the man,  who at first thought was a joke until he heard the name ‘sunjung’. how was he supposed to tell his family? junho was born the same year he got married, this was going to be hard for his family, it was probably going to affect them but thankfully, the man had a good heart and decided he couldn’t leave a child alone. and so, junho, no-- julian moved to the united states. it was a change of pace, he felt confused once again. who was julian? and who was junho? they were supposed to be the same person, but julian believed they were separated entities. it didn’t help the fact that his new family didn’t like him. dariel and his wife would fight every day and junho could listen the constant yelling over and over again. his siblings didn’t seem to like him that much either, and in his new school he was just ‘the new asian guy’.
junho lost his identity the same day that he lost his mother. still confused, he tried to let it out in his rap. little by little he was regaining his confidence, but it wasn’t the same. he was yearning for something and that was going back to his roots because maybe, just maybe he could find himself again. if that ever existed. this caused junho to become a very distant and cold person, not being aware of his own rudeness. he is straight-forward and blunt, and that makes him lose empathy for others. that made it hard for him to develop any type of relationships, forcing himself to become a lonely wolf. he had a part-time job back in the states and when he turned 17 years old he escaped from home and flew back to korea. junho didn’t have a plan, and was forced to live homeless for a while as he had nowhere to go. however, he didn’t let that to disappoint him as he had a dream established. he wanted to continue with his rapping and even though, he knew that the idol industry might not be good it was enough to have a shelter were to live.
he auditioned and became a trainee, and all his years practicing by himself and having experience in the status made him debut early. he was hated by some and praised by others but he finally debuted as a member of the idol group REIGN at the age of 21. still, the idea of being an idol repulsed him, he hated the make-up and the fanservice and as a joke, he chose the stage name HO-E, somehow like a protest against the ridiculous making of pre-fabricated stars and their ridiculous acceptance on fake standards. but well, they are now topping the charts so he only needs to carry on. his personality hasn’t changed at all, he is still sarcastic and cynyc and has difficulties getting along with his teammates.
though, this is because he still has issues figuring it out who is himself.

ROJAZ
ROJAZ is a Spanish flavoured artist currently based in London. She sees herself as a mix of artists like BANKS, Sabrina Claudio, and Rendez-Vous at Two. Soothing and sensual vocals paired with conversational lyrics, her new single ‘Gravitating’ is out now. "’Gravitating’ is about the push and pull dynamic of two people who don’t want to say goodbye, despite knowing they should”, she says. Strong synths and raw vocals create an impactful track, whilst layers of harmonies carefully guide you through the narrative. Listen below.
VERAH
VERAH is a 20 year old singer-songwriter from New York. Having sung and studied Jazz since she was 14, her music is heavily influenced by the smooth vocals of Nina Simone and the rhythmic genius of Herbie Hancock. Some of her current influences include Amy Winehouse, H.E.R. and Snoh Aalegra. Lastest single ‘Too Late (It's Not Easy)’ features the smooth R&B vocals of VERAH as she sings about love gone wrong over a deep, groovin' beat. Her sixth single to date, the song explores the duality of knowing you deserve better but hurting at the same time. Listen below.
Blakkheart
Blakkheart is a music producer, engineer and vocalist based in Cork. Everything you see and hear from the artist is done in its entirety by her (right down to the artwork) from her plant emporium home studio. After touring as a session musician and vocalist she began to hone her production skills. Luxuriously dreamy, electronic glitter disco, inspired by Prince and Kylie Minogue - ‘Not To Your Taste’ was composed on a Roland Juno DI hardware synthesizer in Blakkheart’s plant emporium/home studio. “Gave my life to you/ Pipe dreams can be cruel/ Was it hard to watch/ As I lost and lost”  - a lament to the life you envisioned inside your head; and the unwelcome realization that this may never materialize,” says Blakkheart. MBG
MBG is an alt-rock artist and multi-instrumentalist based in Brampton, ON. Behind the scenes she writes, records and produces her own music but brings it out in its purest form on stage with her band of talented friends. She goes against the grain with her own loud, edgy and unique sound. She has this to say about her new single ‘This Time’: "In the chorus, my friends tell me it's not my fault, to stop blaming myself. I've recently gone through a relationship that was unfortunately cut short and has left me with the idea of what could've been and for someone with anxiety, always pondering on the what if is a very hard itch to scratch. In the heat of the moment, you look back and think "wow, I've done something wrong that ended this thing," but later come to understand that it's totally valid that they don't want to be with you, for whatever the reason is. Whether you're falling in love or losing someone in your life, there can be this sense that you're spiraling out of control. Every now and then, you kind of just have to let it hit you like a ton of bricks. So if you want to mosh to this song with your roommate, or have a good cry alone in your bedroom, that's okay." Listen below.

GLOCHELR
GLOCHELR is an R&B singer-songwriter from London, and her latest single ‘Closure’ wass perfect for Valentine’s Day. “The song focuses on the search for ‘closure’ and explores all the pain and uncertainty that comes with giving your all to someone who may not even want it,” she explains. “In all, sometimes the feelings go, but the trauma stays indefinitely and it’s up to you to deal with that.” Listen below.
Lemon Lord
Lemon Lord is a pop music artist based in Los Angeles. She released her first album Be Blonde in November last year. Her mantra, "To Infinity and Be Blonde," is a reminder to us all that we can do anything we dream of and we can be any version of ourselves that we choose along the way. This mantra is echoed in her song ‘Queen’ in the lyrics of the chorus, which say, "You just gotta live life like a Queen/ Ooh you can do it/ Baby it's done/ If you put your mind to it." Listen below.
Serena Sophia
Serena Sophia has been in the music, theatre, acting industry for a number of years. She studied music at the University of Glasgow and then went on to study a Masters in Musical Theatre at The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. She has always written lyrics and music, but it was throughout 2019 and 2020 she finally found her sound and discovered who she was an artist and was finally ready for her first release. 'Diary of Thoughts' is a song about heartbreak, loss, love and also strength. The lyrics were derived from sections of diary entries from 2018 which was an especially difficult year for Serena due to a toxic relationship and break up. “The song is so personal to me as it describes the emptiness, pain and heartbreak I felt throughout that time but also the moment I decided to finally take care of myself and control of my life and my own happiness,” she explains.

imojen
imojen (she/they) is a 22 year old non-binary, feminist, singer-songwriter. Raised in Switzerland and now based in Brighton, UK, imojen has been musical for the most of their life. Inspired to write her first song after hearing Florence + the Machine’s ‘Shake It Out’, imojen’s lyrics seek to expose the awkward and spectacular details of a queer femme existence. Relationships, sex, the body and identity are all key themes in their music. Through rich vocal harmonies, strong melodies and captivating language, imojen weaves a truly unique sound and experience. ‘Angus’ is an open letter. An unapologetic, feminist ballad, that accuses men of passing down their misogyny to their sons. Inspired by artists such as Lucius and k.d. lang, imojen’s vocals and tangled harmonies are positioned as the focus of the piece as she depicts woodlands, country clubs, wildfires and graveyards in a haunting protest. Tracing a map of her emotional journey, imojen reveals cynicism, rage, malice and contempt, but shows no signs of weakness. Indulgent and imaginative, ‘Angus’ creates a space for fantastical vengeance, empowerment and escape. Listen below.
Amy Ellen
Amy Ellen is part of the emerging Irish indie-folk scene. Hailing from Dublin, her music is inspired indie-folk artists such as Laura Marling and Fleetwood Mac.  Her new single 'This Life' is a coming of age pop-rock tune which conveys a sense of maturity and realisation that nothing good will last forever. In Amy's words: "The song is inspired by true-life events, it touches on losing and gaining people in your life and outlines that some moments become memories we cherish and reflect on. I feel that it's a subject that everyone can relate to, sometimes we fail to see the impact others have on us until they are no longer present and vice versa". Instrumentally, the song features punchy 90’s rock elements, a contrast from Amy’s latest acoustic driven songs. Listen below.

taciturn return || harper & aubrey
Rolling over promptly at 7:00am, Aubrey felt the brain floating in her head follow her body in a delay as she winced at the sun peaking through the blinds. As she unfolded herself from her covers, she saw her legs tangled up in her fleece pajamas – Got my PJs on last night… score. She belabored for a moment, noticing the residue mascara dried on her hands and sheets. It wasn’t rare that she shed some tears before bed. Sometimes, she watches videos of exploited communities totally sober on a Wednesday night before bed and just cries it out, and other nights, she lets the tears fall as she silently wishes someone else was in the other room waiting for her, or on the other line. When she was a kid, she could just crawl into the endless hallway of rooms with her siblings – or hope that her angsty musings alone in her bed were enough to trigger a cautious tap-tap-tap on the door. Instead, here she was: halfway to 28, alone in a studio apartment in Brooklyn, and still as emotional as ever.
Her phone buzzed and she jumped like she was tased. Every morning, there’s a blissful ignorance that exists for about 20 minutes. A few years earlier, she learned to turn off any social media notifications and wake up before anyone could text her so that she could have a half hour of peace in the morning – beholden to no one, not yet at least. Her heart was racing to find her phone in her sheets which were starting to resemble quicksand. Dalton – 1 missed call, 1 voicemail; (14) unread messages; NEWS: Florida man ambushes in wedding dress. Pretty typical morning. Except for the fact that of those unread texts were Harper Slade’s name hidden somewhere in the middle.
I fucking texted him? She unlocked her phone. I CALLED him? Her grumblings made her sick – but she was relieved to find out it was just a voicemail. It was so unlike her to get drunk and leave a voicemail like that. Those days were left in the disgusting dorm rooms of NYU, but then again, she thought Harper Slade was also left on Meeting House Road back home. Things keep changing. Her final grievance: I asked him… to meet me at Huckleberry? Aubrey tossed her phone to the other side of her bed, laid back flat, and let out a quick scream into her pillow.
As she brushed her teeth, she ran to respond: Hey! Sorry about that voicemail. You remember Dalton, right? Well, he never lets me pay when we get drinks and sometimes I take advantage of that. I promise there won’t be an encore tonight. See you at 7:30. Send. After putting her phone down, she felt regretful. In typical Aubrey-fashion, she ignored everything he had said – well wishes, self-awareness. It wasn’t a good start for her, and she laughed to herself remembering that first email she sent him after he reached out. The anger was still there, but she didn’t have the energy to feel it. Thanks for the kind words, by the way. Huckleberry’s a cool spot. (It’s not). See you! Send.
Her mind wandered all day. At work, she had no assignments, so she left early and told them that she just had to go check in on her nieces and nephews. “Post-partum’s a bitch,” she asseverated to her supervisor before the elevator doors closed. One day, karma would catch up to her – and perhaps that day was today after all.
Aubrey has been a script writer for two and a half years, but while she sat down to gather her thoughts about the night she was about to experience, she completely fell short. Perhaps things didn’t feel real yet. This whole time, except for 30 seconds in a crowded green room, he hadn’t felt real. Like he was just out of reach or a figment of her imagination like he used to be the first two years after he left. So now, when the clock was winding down and she was about to be with him again, she couldn’t process how she was feeling.
The last decade, she’d gone through different emotions for this moment – the first was a total relinquishment of any resentment and a fall-back-into-love dream. She used to tell her therapist, “If he came back right now, I wouldn’t even think to talk about what happened. I’d forgive him in a heartbeat,” which, for obvious reasons, was met with extremely concerned glances and registering for a couple extra sessions. Then, the peace phase: “I don’t really think about it that much. I think I’m all good!” she said, during the busiest period of her life. That treaty came to a crumble when she met a Harper at the coffee shop – a 94 year old  man who would ask her for company. One day, she broke down into tears in front of him and they never met for coffee again. Then, perhaps her siblings’ favorite yet most feared, her anger phase. Sometimes, she’d walk into the house for Thanksgiving as a grown woman – 23, 24 years old – sit down at the dinner table, and exclaim, “Aren’t men just the most disgusting creatures to ever walk the earth?” Usually, she was met with commiserations and apologies from the phallic members of her family. One time, she did have to apologize – “Chandler, have you ever considered just how fucking inconsiderate it is that you kept your blonde hair all this time?” The next morning, she apologized thoroughly, and of course, blamed it on her alter ego: Brandy.
But, eventually she stopped going through the motions. Instead, the misery and memory would come and go, like a painful deep breath in. She would excuse herself to take a breath, or become catatonic for a moment, but one day, she turned 26, looked back at her life, and decided to feel contentment. What had happened… happened, and from that day one, she became a new kind of Aubrey. A more consistent Aubrey. So here she was, getting ready to meet up with the one and only Slade again, sitting with a ripped notebook paper and pen, hoping to find what she was feeling, and walking into an abyss of harrowing solitude. All she knew was that she had one goal: stay reticent.
The trek to Huckleberry was unusual for her. Usually, she enjoyed the bus ride, but tonight, she decided to walk. Leaving 45 minutes early, Aubrey walked about 35 blocks in the hope that she would find how she was feeling, but instead, empty tears welled in her eyes and went. She listened to the way her heels clicked down the streets as she tried to convince herself everything was normal. Her phone started ringing – it was Sophia. But she hadn’t filled in Sophia in almost a week, what does she say? She let it go to voicemail, and as was pretty typical for Aubrey at this point, she’d explain herself in the morning. Instead, “I’ve read that he’s, like, a decent human being now,” played over in her head. A decent human being? In Dalton’s eyes? Did he save a burning orphanage? Part of her had hoped that he had become a sort of demagogue, that she could curse him out, he’d feel nothing, and then that would be closure. But she wasn’t surprised by Dalton. He’d always been a good guy to her. Always. Didn’t make anything easier, though – certainly didn’t help when he left.
Getting to the door, she laughed to herself at the edifice. Her friends used to joke that this place was a secret brothel – the wooden panels, a bouncer you could pay off with a wink, and the watered down vodka crans. The good thing, though, was that they got busted for having underaged kids – it’s picked up since then, got new lights, repaired the leather on the seats, and was a restaurant until 11:00pm on the weekends. So, it was a pretty safe spot.
She made her way through the tight entryway, sardine-packs of people to the bar area – finding a quick table, she sat down. What kind of a drink do you order when you’re about to meet up with your high school boyfriend? She let that color her mind for a bit before settling on nothing for now. It wasn’t a date – it was.. What it was. And it would happen how it will happen. Sitting in the booth, she tucked herself into the corner of the wall. 7:24, just on time. Closing her eyes and taking a deep breath, Aubrey said a quick prayer to herself and braced for the cruel unknown.

 He Said
The wrap for the film in November left me high - it had been an amazing experience again for me but the joy at the film completing was made so much better by the knowledge that I would soon be back home, holding Sophia in my arms.
I got back to my apartment after the wrap party at around midnight, slightly inebriated and dialled her back in LA.
“It’s done, I’m coming home” I declared.
“you seem happy” she said laughing at my slurred speech “are you drunk?”
“little bit I think, yup! You alone?”
“a ha – kids are at Julie’s today”
“ooooh goody, wanna play?”
 She Said
When Ke called me after the wrap party, he was clearly a little drunk, a bit goofy ……and horny. A few times whilst he’d been away, we’d masturbated together and I knew that was where this was going today. I moved into the bedroom and he started softly instructing me as to which garments to remove, what to show him and telling me everything he wanted to do to me when he got back.  He was the master of story telling and timing, holding off telling me to touch myself for as long as he could so that when the time came and he encouraged me ……….
“now  touch yourself, imagine my tongue….”
I was off like a firecracker, screaming his name which pushed him over the edge too, a loud grunt coming through the speaker of the iPad.
I propped the iPad up against his pillow on the bed and we stared at each other, smiling and I know I was blushing a little.
“Why do you always blush when we do that? We are allowed you know, you are my girlfriend right?”
I nodded, giggling a little.
“Yeah, it’s just that it’s 3.30 in the afternoon here - it feels very decadent to be touching myself while the kids are off doing their school day!”
“Where are they on Friday? I get in at around 7am?”
“Lucky you, it’s Miranda’s day. But you should get some sleep”
“I’ll sleep on the plane …………..and after I’ve taken you!”
“Promises, promises”
“Absolutely!”
He Said
“Told you!”
“Told me what?” Sophia breathed as she lay back on the pillow, her long brown hair fanning out around her and her chest still rosy pink with the flush of orgasm.
“Told you I’d take you first before sleep today” I murmured, sinking into the pillow and yawning.
“Poor old man’s sleepy”
“Hey, less of the old”
Sophia pulled up the covers and ran soothing hands over my shoulders”
“Get some rest baby and thank you”
“For what?”
“Coming back to me and keeping your promise”
I could feel myself drifting into dreams already “mmm no problem, I love you Sophia, I’m so glad to be home”
“Love you too Ke”
When I woke up it was early afternoon and Sophia had made a spread of some of my favourite things for lunch, chief among which was a Peanut butter and jelly sandwich! I feasted and we talked about our plans for the time we now had together.  There were still restrictions in California due to Covid so there were limitations on how much we could do but truth be told my main priority was investing time with this newly forming family, seeing some other family and friends and taking some bike rides.  There would be John Wick training in the new year but until then, my time was my own.
 She Said
Once Keanu was back and we’d got over the initial rush of excitement to be together again, we settled into something of a routine.
He’d stay over a couple of nights a week and at least once a week I’d spend the day with him at his house, often just enjoying a decadent day between the sheets.  A Wednesday would be similar for us to a Sunday for a couple who didn’t have kids in the house bouncing out of bed at 7am!
Whilst we did have a routine of sorts there were still adjustments to be made. One of these took me a little by surprise and was partly triggered by a routine letter from my doctor.
Keanu was there as I opened it.
“Everything OK?
“Oh, yeah sure, it’s just about my coil. It’s going to expire soon so I have to go in for a consult”
“Oh and are you just going to get another one or ….?”
“Or what ?”
I had known this decision was coming soon and it had got me questioning whether it was the end of the road for me and babies. Some friends around me were still having more kids and that was one factor in me questioning it. The last new baby had arrived only a couple of weeks ago  - it was Julie’s so we’d gone to visit, taking a gift.  I got to cuddle her little boy Matthew too since we were in the bubble together. I remembered Keanu’s indulgent expression as I’d declared
“Babies just rule don’t they? Every home should have one! – but then again they are soooo much work!”
I was only joking around but it was true, I did love babies and I couldn’t say for sure that I was content with declaring an end to my child-bearing years by getting another coil fitted for 10 or more years. I know you can take them out early but the fact that it could just go in and stay in did make that particular choice feel quite final. On the other hand, it was safe and super convenient and meant no condoms which I had never liked and most men I knew didn’t either. I wondered what Keanu thought of my comment. He was so great with my 2 kids  - I didn’t know whether he regretted not having kids of his own – I mean I guess that was kind of inevitable given what he had lost but I didn’t know if it was something he wanted still.
“Or …… do you ever wonder about having more kids?”
“Gosh, I don’t know”
“No? You weren’t thinking about it when cuddling baby Matthew the other day?”
I blushed.
“Well, maybe it crossed my mind that this decision was coming up”
“and?”
I took a deep breath
“And I wasn’t sure I was completely ready to …….. to close the door” I admitted.
 He Said
I sat at my desk, a blank piece of paper in front of me. I was about to embark on a methodical analysis of my thoughts on having a kid with Sophia. After she’d said she wasn’t sure she was ready to close the door, she asked me what I wanted.  Gosh, that took the wind out of my sails even though I had been the one to lift the lid by asking her about her coil. To be honest, it was the way she had been with baby Matthew that had started me thinking before that and had re-awakened in me something I’d not felt since my 40s: The longing to have a child of my own.
I started jotting down thoughts  - pros and cons and trying somehow to think about how positive or negative they each were. It was no good weighing a negative like sleepless nights against a positive like giving my mother grandchildren and my sisters a niece or nephew.  I was still pouring over my page, filling it with thoughts and adding circles around key words and phrases when Sophia popped her head around the corner to say hi. She’d just arrived after dropping the kids at Miranda’s.
“Hey what’s this?”  she asked leaning over my shoulder and kissing my cheek.
“Well, it’s me attempting to be rational, practical, you know about what we talked about yesterday”
“Oh, I see” she responded as she started to scan the page.
“you’re not too old” she exclaimed, picking up on one of the negatives I’d written.
“You sure ?– I mean I could be nearly 80 when they’re 20 something – my mom was 40 when I was 20!”
“Yeah but I’ll be 50 when Eva is 20  - 20 was very young to have a kid by today’s standards. What are the numbers next to each thing?”
“A scoring system” I said blushing a bit.
“Oh my god, how scientific are we getting!?”
“Like I said” I defended, “I’m trying to be pragmatic, weigh things in the balance which is hard when you have things like this in the mix”
I pointed to the biggest word on the page which I’d started to draw around. It was ‘Love’ and it was certainly the thing that counted most in the balance. The love that a child could bring into my life and everyone else in our families was why seeing Sophia with Matthew that day had sparked all those feelings. It didn’t really matter that much that I might need to do fewer projects, that I’d have less freedom and time to myself for creative projects, that we’d be building a complex family melding with the existing one. I think the only thing on the page I could see that made me hesitate were the words “Loss” , “risk and “disappointment”. How on earth could we embark on this path and accept that maybe Sophia wouldn’t get pregnant, what steps would we take if that was the case or would we just agree that if it didn’t happen on its own then that was the end of it. Or maybe she would conceive and then we’d lose the baby like Ava  ……… That option almost equalled the love one in terms of being the opposite in negative points.
“Come on,  take a break, have some lunch with me and then talk me through it OK? Maybe I should do the same task huh? We’ll work it out” she soothed, squeezing my hand.
She Said
Keanu was quiet through lunch. I could tell that this topic was really taxing  his head and heart and I felt guilty that my contraceptive choices had brought this to the fore. He reassured me that in fact, it was seeing me with baby Matthew that had really started the thoughts spinning round his mind.
Whilst I teased him about his giant mind map of pros and cons with its elaborate points system,  it was really useful as a prompt to talk it through. It didn’t strip emotion out of it, after all, how could it with the word love and all its layers of meaning sitting at the centre of the page, but it meant we did consider everything as best we could.
It was the first time we’d talked in any detail about Ava and that experience of loss. He told me most of it, leaning back in the lounger by the pool, eyes closed, holding my hand, an occasional tear leaking out. The horror of giving birth to a silent, dead baby filled me with sorrow for him and Jen and, if I’m honest, some fear for myself. Fear of being the one to do that to him again, fear of embarking on something that held such potential danger. It had never felt that way as I had innocently embarked on my pregnancies with Eva and Miguel.
By the time I had to leave that afternoon, we had almost got to our conclusion, but agreed to sleep on it for a few days. Ironically, he called this technique “incubation”! He said you didn’t actually have to actively think about it but letting it just sit in the back of your mind meant that you would process it and come to a conclusion that you were comfortable with.
 He Said
I wanted to pinch myself when I thought back to last Christmas Eve. The two years could not be more different. This evening, at nearly midnight, I found myself hovering outside Miguel’s bedroom door, checking for the steady sounds of him sleeping before sneaking in with his stocking containing a few presents for when he woke up.  Sophia was doing the same outside Eva’s door. As I crept up to his bed, looking at his angelic little face, almost black hair sticking out of the covers just a bit, I felt centred and certain about our decisions last month.
He and Eva were my family too now, not officially in law, but in practice they spent more time with me than with their Dad these days.  They were comfortable with me, even as an occasional disciplinarian not just a playmate. And that was enough for me and Sophia - if we added to the brood with a child of our own, then great; We weren’t making any efforts to stop a pregnancy  and we were both taking care of our health but we would not have any fertility interventions and would stop if  nothing had happened after a couple of years since Sophia was nearly 40.  We had both agreed that we didn’t want to push our luck too far with a risky pregnancy.
 She Said
My main memory of our first Christmas together was Keanu’s goofy grin that seemed to be permanently plastered on his face for the whole holidays.  It was there for all the special meals we shared, there when we all opened our gifts from him (purchased without PA help!) and there when he closed the bedroom door and came to make love to me each night, stifling the sounds of our passion from the kids with his kisses.
We were in a cocoon of love and tenderness - I knew work was on the horizon for him and that would change our rhythm again soon enough but for now, we could bask in each other’s love, enjoy the children together and carry a little spark of hope that I might be able to fall pregnant with his child before long.
Once the holidays were over, Keanu was back to developing John Wick 4 and starting a new programme of training.  We would have to endure some separation again once shooting started in April in New York but we were all decamping at the start to his apartment there since it would be the holidays then. We even had plans to decorate a bedroom each for the children so they would feel at home when we visited. I wanted them to feel safe and secure. It turned out that this was the one thing I couldn’t guarantee for them, now their mother was publicly dating a movie-star.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine’s Funniest Guest Cast Characters
https://ift.tt/3oTakdX
Warning: contains Brooklyn Nine-Nine spoilers.
Brooklyn Nine Nine is one of the funniest sitcoms around thanks to its fantastic ensemble cast and just-broad-enough humour blended with almost-realistic cop show elements. But that great regular cast are supported by an equally brilliant array of recurring characters and guest stars. In this list, we’re celebrating the funniest of the show’s less often-seen characters, those guest appearances who’ve turned up once or twice to inject a fresh burst of comic energy into the show.
Note that we’re not counting regular recurring characters like Adrian Pimento, Madeline Wuntch, or Kevin Cozner, aka Mr Raymond Holt. If they turn up more than once a year, or in more than three episodes in one season, they’re off the list.
12. Adam Sandler, played by himself in Operation: Broken Feather, Season 1, Episode 15
Adam Sandler’s appearance as himself in Season One is beautifully self-deprecating as well as funny. His deadpan delivery of “I’m a serious person” is hilarious in just the right way – of course the real Sandler is, presumably, as serious and as complex as anyone else, but he knows his own public persona and just how to play on it in the right way to raise a different kind of laugh. The interest in antiquities, the planned film about the Russian Revolution, it’s all funny – and somewhat undercut, even more amusingly, by his taunting of Jake straight afterwards. The whole scene did help to flush out a criminal though, so it wasn’t a total loss for Jake.
Funniest moment: Admitting his “serious” Russian Revolution film features Kevin James as Trotsky, and a wife who doesn’t wear a bra through the whole film.
11. Geoffrey Hoytsman, played by Chris Parnell in two episodes in Season 2
When Jake’s lawyer girlfriend Sophia uses her boss as a transparent excuse to break up with him (by going on ‘pause’), Jake wilfully misunderstands and decides that the boss is the key problem, so he sets off to make the man like him. It all goes horribly wrong when Jake finds Hoytsman snorting cocaine in the bathroom, which Hoytsman claims he was doing accidentally while screaming loudly that Jake is arresting him to the whole room of lawyers. Sophia somehow still ends up blaming Jake – probably because she simply wanted to break up with him in the first place – and Hoytsman ends up returning to take Jake hostage and quite seriously threaten his life later in the season. Parnell’s over-the-top performance as a character who is, of course, high for much of the time, is what really sells the character.
Funniest moment: Sniffing cocaine off his collar in the middle of the police precinct.
10. Jessica Day, played by Zooey Deschanel in The Night Shift, Season 4, Episode 4
Back in 2016, both New Girl and Brooklyn Nine Nine were active Fox sitcoms, so the network decided to do a crossover event in which the New Girl characters travelled to New York City and ran into the 99. Most of the crossover scenes actually ended up in the New Girl episode, but Zooey Deschanel’s character Jess Day did make a brief appearance in the otherwise stand-alone Brooklyn Nine Nine half of the crossover. While the New Girl episode provided a lot more context for Jess’s feelings about New York and her stress level surrounding Schmidt’s mom’s car and the soup she’s carrying, her appearance as an apparently slightly nutty woman who resists Jake’s attempts to commandeer the car is an entertaining interlude during the half hour.
Funniest moment: Insisting that Jake’s oath to serve and protect applies to her soup.
9. Philip Davidson, played by Sterling K. Brown in The Box, Season 5, Episode 14
If this were a list of the show’s ‘best’ guest characters, rather than ‘funniest’, the top ranked would surely be Philip Davidson, played by Sterling K. Brown. ‘The Box’ is a tight, taught bottle episode that takes full advantage of Brooklyn Nine Nine’s hybrid status as both sitcom and cop show, and Brown’s Davidson forms a strong third of a triangle in this three-header with Holt and Peralta. It’s a really strong performance, but given that he’s playing a tough-to-crack murder suspect, not really the funniest, exactly. Still, he gets a good few laughs when appropriate over the course of a really engaging half hour of comedy/cop show crossover.
Funniest moment: When Davidson finally cracks, he cracks hard – his confession is equal parts triumphant, cathartic, and hilarious.
8. Karen Haas, played by Maya Rudolph in Coral Palms Parts 1&2, Season 4, Episodes 1&2
Maya Rudolph has a good line going in slightly weary authority figures (see also: The Good Place). Handling Holt and Peralta while they’re in witness protection is not an easy job and her exasperation at Jake’s refusal to accept his situation is well played. Haas is really funny, though, when she starts bringing her own issues into her official duties, clearly trying to get permission to cheat on her husband from someone, anyone – and Holt is happy to oblige.
Funniest moment: Whoever it is she wants to sleep with is “really young” – something that clearly shouldn’t be funny, but the face Rudolph pulls as she says it is what sells it.
7. Lin-Manuel Miranda as David Santiago in The Golden Child, Season 6, Episode 9
Miranda is marvellously smarmy as Amy’s too-perfect brother, her demanding parents’ favourite, who snubs popular culture and shows off by saving people’s lives (including Amy’s own husband). Amy’s delighted reaction when he’s arrested for cocaine possession and deep disappointment when he turns out to be innocent are highlights, but the funniest scene by far is the dance-off between David and Amy, in which both comprehensively demonstrate that dancing is not among the Santiago family’s many strengths.

Funniest moment: David thinks elbows should form a bigger part of a dance routine than they really should.
6. Frederick, played by Nick Offerman in Ava, Season 3, Episode 8
Any time we meet Captain Holt’s friends and family, many of whom share his stoic, Vulcan-like demeanour, it’s always hilarious. JK Simmons as his old friend Dillman very nearly made the list, but he was just pipped to the post by Ron Swanson – sorry, Nick Offerman – as Holt’s ex-boyfriend. There’s a lot of crossover between Parks and Recreation and Brooklyn Nine Nine among the cast and crew and Offerman isn’t even the only Parks & Rec alumnus to appear on this list, but he’s probably the one whose appearance most quickly calls to mind his earlier character. The idea that Holt’s ex-boyfriend is Ron F-ing Swanson is just genius. OK, Frederick lacks Swanson’s magnificent moustache (though he has a glorious beard) and he’s even more brusque and stand-off-ish, but he’s a perfect match for Holt, even more in their post-break-up mutual antagonism than we imagine they were in their relationship.
Funniest moment: His straight-faced insistence at the door that they have a “wooden-duck situation”.
5. Mark Devereaux, played by Nathan Fillion in Serve & Protect, Season 4, Episode 14
It’s always funny any time police characters in a cop show visit the set of a TV cop show, and for added meta humour, in this case the actor playing the fictional detective is played by an actor who works on a cop show (albeit as a non-cop character). Phew! That’s a lot of layers of meta. Nathan Fillion’s pompous star who apparently thinks playing a detective makes him a detective is very funny, and it gets better when it turns out that was a ruse to cover up his own petty criminal activity before he folds like wet paper. It’s just a shame we didn’t get to see more of him.
Funniest moment: Devereaux tries turning on the angry detective act from his show to cover up his own crime, only to be confronted with quite a lot more than a “shred” of evidence and fold immediately.
4. Eleanor Horstweil, played by Kathryn Hahn in Hostage Situation, Season 3, Episode 11
We heard a lot about Boyle’s ex-wife over the first couple of seasons, partly because Boyle was still living in her basement, hanging out with her new husband Hercules. We knew what sort of person Eleanor was when Boyle explained that he gets the beach house from December to February. When we finally meet her in the flesh, Kathryn Hahn does not disappoint – Eleanor is surely one of the most purely horrible characters we’ve seen on the show (and yes, we’re including all the murderers). She hits a 90-year-old priest with her car and then destroys Boyle’s frozen sperm, all with no apparent sense of guilt, and she largely gets away with it, too. But she does it all with a perfectly deadpan expression and carefree attitude, each horrifying act funnier that the last.
Funniest moment: She goes further than Jake ever thought she would when she “shoots a hostage” – i.e., throws some of Boyle’s sperm down the drain.
3. Seth Dozerman, played by Bill Hader in New Captain, Season 3, Episode 1
Bill Hader’s screentime on the show is relatively brief, but he is hilarious from start to finish, attacking the squad with every shouted command like he’s firing metaphorical bullets at them. It might actually have been really cool to see the squad try to deal with him as their Captain for more than one episode, with his extremely demanding requirements and very highly strung personality, but on the other hand, perhaps this is a joke that works better in small quantities. Any character whose dying words are “Tell my wife I love her work ethic” is probably a character better enjoyed for a shorter period of time.
Funniest moment: Both heart attacks are very funny, but the first (non-fatal) one just pips it for the sheer suddenness of it.
2. Caleb, played by Tim Meadows in three episodes in Seasons 5 and 6
Jake is shocked to discover his only friend in maximum security prison is a cannibal (though he would prefer to be identified as a wood-worker), having assumed everyone in protective custody was a wrongly accused police officer. Caleb is surely Brooklyn Nine Nine’s best streak of really, really dark humour – not only did he murder and eat nine and a half people, they were small children too. Every reference he makes to his “nightmare” past is sickly hilarious, and gets worse and worse every time, including a reference to his “skin suit”. But he really does care for Jake, even if he still kind of wants to eat him. The sheer audacity of the black humour surrounding this character is fantastic and always funny.
Funniest moment: Caleb shows that he has a softer side when he saves Jake’s life – but he immediately deeply regrets it and would not do it again.
1. Doug Judy, played by Craig Robinson in multiple episodes (one episode or two-parter per year)
Yes, we carefully defined a recurring character as someone who is either in more than three episodes or who appears more than once a year specifically so that we could include Craig Robinson‘s Doug Judy. It’s our list and we make the rules. There’s something twistedly beautiful about Jake and Doug Judy’s tender but tense friendship, even in the early years when Judy is constantly double-crossing poor Jake. The two of them have perfect comic chemistry, and each running gag in their friendship, especially their fondness for swaggering out in a new outfit or disguise, just gets funnier and funnier. Long may Doug Judy continue to turn up roughly once every twelve months to harass his long suffering best friend.
cnx.cmd.push(function() { cnx({ playerId: "106e33c0-3911-473c-b599-b1426db57530", }).render("0270c398a82f44f49c23c16122516796"); });
Funniest moment: Having escaped yet again, Doug Judy leaves Jake a pre-recorded message in a karaoke booth – complete with a full hour of pre-recorded singing for Jake to duet with.

OTP asks
Tumblr media
Many thanks to @drakeandcamilleofvaltoria for tagging me in her post. I had SO much fun writing this and it’s given me a couple of ideas.
OTP is Bastien Lykel and his LI Sophia
1. Who is the most affectionate?
After a lifetime of being the stoic Captain of the King’s Guard, Bastien is making up for lost time. A kiss on the cheek or the top of her head, an arm around her waist, his hand resting on her knee under the dinner table, his pet name for her, all trump any shows of affection Sophia makes. At times he slips back into his old ways and Sophia always knows whether to leave him to it or gently ease him out.
2. Big spoon/Little spoon?
Bastien most often, but when his thigh troubles him, Sophia snuggles up to his back and soothes him.
3. Most common argument?
Sophia is not naturally tidy, whereas for Bastien, everything has a place. They are working on meeting somewhere in the middle, but sometimes Sophia falls short of the mark. She looks so forlorn when Bastien tells her off that he soon relents and they end up hugging at the very least, or in bed if it’s been a real blow up.
4. Favourite non-sexual activity?
Quietly sitting together and enjoying a meal with a glass of wine.
5. Who is most likely to carry the other?
Bastien is a pretty solid specimen, there is no way Sophia would be able to lift him off the ground. Bastien has been known to throw her over his shoulder and take her to the bedroom.
6. What is their favourite feature of their partner’s?
Bastien is the whole package – his broad muscular build, his steely grey eyes, his neatly groomed hair and beard, the list goes on. The first thing that marked Sophia out for Bastien’s special attention was her blonde hair, but most of all, that combined with her green eyes.
7. What’s the first thing that changes when they realise they have feelings for the other?
They pretended to be involved so that nobles would stop paying her unwanted attention. The first thing to change was that they couldn’t keep their eyes off each other in public.
8. Nicknames? & if so, how did they originate?
Bastien told her she looked like a goddess on her birthday when she wore the gown he had bought for her. In Greek ‘theá mou’ means ‘my goddess’ and sounds similar to ‘ti amo’, or ‘I love you’ in Italian. Sophia has been known to refer to him as her Sea God after seeing him in the swimming pool at the Palace, but most commonly ‘agápe mou’ or ‘my love’.
9. Who worries the most?
Bastien has a very logical approach to life and rarely worries, but Sophia has a tendency to overthink and can worry about small things.
10. Who remembers what the other one always orders at a restaurant?
Sophia finds decisions over food difficult, so Bastien gently guides her without being obvious.
 11. Who tops?
Bastien, although Sophia occasionally pushes his boundaries
12. Who initiates kisses?
Kissing is like breathing for them both, it’s quite equal.
13. Who reaches for the other’s hand first?
Bastien mostly, but there’s not a lot in it.
14. Who kisses the hardest?
Bastien is gentle with his goddess most of the time, but he knows when he can be more urgent.
15. Who wakes up first?
Bastien is always up first to train. Sophia is not an early bird and he knows better than to disturb her, though who wouldn’t love to be woken by oral sex?
16. Who wants to stay in bed just a little longer?
Sophia loves lingering in their bed, and she has been known to lure her lover back under the covers after he’s had his post training shower.
17. Who says I love you first?
Bastien. Although he had many sexual partners over the years and felt affection for many of them, Sophia was the first he felt he really truly loved.
18. Who leaves little notes in the other’s one lunch? (Bonus: what does it usually say?)
At the Palace there were no packed lunches. Once they move to Edinburgh for Sophia’s post at the university perhaps that will change. It will most likely be Bastien, who will quote poetry.
19. Who tells their family/friends about their relationship first?
Sophia told her parents, as her mother was increasingly dropping heavy hints about her single status. Bastien rarely contacts his foster parents and has more work colleagues than friends
20. What do their family/friends think of their relationship?
After making a trip to Cordonia for Christmas, Sophia’s mother Edith is over the moon that she’s in a solid relationship with such a handsome specimen. Her father Bob’s scepticism swiftly changed when he saw how close the two were.
21. Who is more likely to start dancing with the other?
Bastien often turns on the music and takes Sophia in his arms for a slow dance in the lounge of their suite. In time he will regain his agility and be able to twirl her around the Palace Ballroom.
22. Who cooks more/who is better at cooking?
They have had little chance to compare, living at the Palace where the kitchens are open all day. They will find their skills are pretty much equal when they move out.
23. Who comes up with cheesy pick up lines?
Bastien has been known to whisper stock pick up lines into Sophia’s ear in public to try and make her laugh.
24. Who whispers inappropriate things in the other’s ear during inappropriate times?
They are both masters of subtle innuendo and never turn down the opportunity to demonstrate it.
25. Who needs more assurance?
Sophia does sometimes wonder if one of his former lovers will turn up and challenge his devotion to her, but she has nothing to worry about.
26. What would be their theme song?
‘Can’t take my eyes off you’ or ‘I only have eyes for you’
27. Who would sing to their child back to sleep?
Bastien will find he has endless patience and will walk up and down with their offspring, soothing them to sleep with his deep baritone voice. Sophia is shy of singing though she has a sweet melodious voice.
28. What do they do when they’re away from each other?
They get on with their everyday tasks. They both know the value of alone time and keeping true to their own selves. Sparks fly when they get back together and they have been know to spend a morning, an afternoon – an entire day – in the bedroom re-establishing their relationship.
29. one headcanon about this OTP that breaks your heart
Bas is ten years older, and at some point she will probably end up alone.
30. one headcanon about this OTP that mends it
They will have many, many happy years before that happens, and she will have their children to comfort her when he’s gone.

STORY MASTERLIST
A (not so) comprehensive list of all the things I write about, all of which are subject to change at any given time because I do a lot of refactoring!
LOOOOONG POST INCOMING I write... a LOT, and I have... MANY projects :) Feel free to ask me about any of them! :)
With love <3 Continue reading below the cutoff if you want to know the basic rundown of my worlds and works!
ANGELVERSE:
This universe encompasses all of the angels and demons I like to focus on. Works in the angelverse will likely be about Faraday (formerly known as Efrem), a demon lieutenant, Ezekiel, a young angel, the archangel Uriel, or angel Raguel / angel Sophia (their stories are intertwined).
The main concept I have on Angelverse surrounds Faraday, who has grown into himself as a demon and made something of himself. He finds it impossible to shake who he was before. The question comes up during an important meeting between Heaven and Hell of whether he is truly Faraday or Efrem, his own self that he has shakily become, or the self he inherited from being his father’s son. There’s also brotherly angst between Faraday and Ezekiel, who refuses to let go of the past. (If you look at my old works tagged ‘ezekiel,’ you’ll see Ezekiel used to be a part of Faraday/his ‘ideal’ self, which is why new Ezekiel, separate from Faraday, reads so differently.)
The Raguel and Sophia stories are also closely linked to characters Andromeda and possibly Zachariah. Andromeda’s father runs a cult and has captured an angel in his attic. When Andromeda finds the angel (Sophia), her otherwise “normal” life is thrown into disarray as she starts unraveling threads about her father’s actions as a cult leader. If Zachariah is to be a part of it, he would be living with Andromeda’s family, having run away from his past.
Prominent characters in Angelverse include: Faraday, Uriel, Ezekiel, Stena, Michael, Ramiel, Raguel, Sophia, Zachariah, Ambriel, Ruhiel, Gabriel, Raphael, Luci, Bee, Sasha, Saoirse, and Heather. With the exception of Sophia, all names ending with “el” are angels, while the rest are demons. Also, I say prominent, but like half of these characters are from a bygone era (2018 when I first created them).
TW/CW for heavy religious (Christian) imagery, emotional abuse, violence, transphobia mentions and cult talk. Additional content warning because I tend to write angels as LGBT, but I recognize that some people are not comfortable with this affiliation with Christianity.
LUXTRURA (NOTE: LUXTRURA IS ON PERMANENT HIATUS):
Luxtrura is the name of a fictional country in ye olde European fantasy style, and I haven’t thought of a title for the WIP yet, so I mainly tag it ‘luxtrura’ or ‘luxtruran trio.’ This WIP is a fantasy / dystopian / political intrigue about an uprising in the kingdom of Luxtrura run by an inexperienced king and corrupt nobles all vying for the crown.
Luxtrura (at the current moment) follows the life of His Majesty Devron Fharren, the Eighth Fharren King, who inherited the crown by kingdom decrees at the age of 21. Unlike most kings, Devron has only had seven years of proper royal tutelage on statecraft, having only been named heir to the throne when he was 14. He soon finds he has inherited a kingdom that has been deeply wounded, that his people hate him, and that he has few allies among his own country’s nobles, his friends, and neighboring royalty. Revolution is brewing, and he has a choice to make: to claim his birthright or to help his people.
Prominent characters include: Devron Fharren, Eden Barison, Mili Starr, Plumeria Rwalke, Lilia Tao, Rassaya Tao, Andrea (a mysterious stranger who gives only her first name), Jakob Fiyre, Cordelia Fiyre, Liseline Fiyre, Sonja, and Orange and Rouse (the dragons).
TW/CW for violence, sexual assault mentions, transphobia mentions, political talk, blatant classism, and death.
GLOWING EYES:
A “what-if” scenario where Victor Frankenstein and Dorian Gray had met and become friends and also Frankenstein wasn’t a man and was named Viola and was not a pleb weakling like Victor. Also Dorian Gray is fat because I said so.
This story reimagines the Frankenstein and Dorian Gray cast as students in their final year of the prestigious University of Ingolstadt, with Frankenstein having returned from a year off during which she was suspended for [redacted] reasons. The vibe we’re going for is dark academia, but I don’t think they ever actually do any learning?
Prominent characters include: Viola Frankenstein, Dorian Gray, Elizabeth Lavenza, Henry Clerval, Basil Hallward, Deukalion, and special shoutout to Justine Moritz and Sibyl Vane because I didn’t want to put them in, but they definitely deserved better in the source material.
TW/CW for death, violence, toxic/obsessive relationships, grave-robbing, body part mentions (eyes, limbs, etc), and mentions of the Devil. Basically, if it was a concerning part of either the Frankenstein or Dorian Gray stories, it will still be concerning.
Fun fact, there is a Glowing Eyes playlist that I am NOT too ashamed to share with the public! :D
HELEN OF LEGEND:
A retelling of the Helen of Sparta story that explores Helen’s thoughts and motivations. Who was the woman behind the face that launched a thousand ships? And did she ever even want those ships to be launched? (Spoiler alert: the answer is no.)
Helen of Legend gets pretty heavy handed because I get really mad about people lauding the Greeks as the end all be all of culture, and I’m still really mad about how people dress Millie Bobby Brown up like she’s 25-40, so make of that what you will.
On the bright side, Helen of Legend is a sapphic retelling!
Prominent characters include: Helen, Leda, Menelaus, Clytemnestra, Penelope, Theseus, Aphrodite, Paris, Cassandra, Hector, and Hecuba.
TW/CW for misogyny, implied past sexual assault, sexual assault mentions, mentions of spousal and emotional abuse, people being generally creepy about bodies, people being creepy toward children (Theseus), cities burning, subtle classism, and death.
OF DANCERS AND DREAMERS:
A musical about Anne-Marie, a non-binary Vietnamese lesbian born into a wealthy family, and Jules, a Tunisian baker’s daughter who is working her way into the Paris ballet. Anne-Marie wants to be a designer, but their mother, Mme Trinh, has other plans. The year is 1884, and it was hard for the Trinh family, as immigrants, to establish their foothold in society, and Mme Trinh will not have her child throw away the family’s hard work. One day, while at the ballet, Anne-Marie becomes smitten with Jules, a ballerina with the most dazzling smile. They find solace in sharing their passions with one another and become friends, each eventually realizing they have fallen for the other in a time that is unfriendly to both of them.
Prominent characters include: Anne-Marie, Jules, Victor, Mme Trinh, and Amandine.
TW/CW for subtle homophobia, classism, mental illness, and parental guilt tripping/emotional toxicity.
THE LYRE EFFECT:
A play about life after death, and what it means to live and love. This play follows Patroclus upon his death, desperate to return to Achilles. He meets the reluctant Eurydice, embittered by decades alone in limbo halfway between life and death. Together, they almost throw someone off a boat (is it really murder if they’re already dead?) and have a chance to tell their stories, stepping out from the shadows of their more famous lovers.
I took a lot of liberties with this, so Orpheus is a woman (wlw OrphEurydice), and I would like for both Achilles and Patroclus to be played by trans men, and for all of the characters to be played by non-white actors.
Prominent characters include: Patroclus, Eurydice, Achilles, Orpheus, Apollo, Hades, Charon
TW/CW for talk about death
SPEED ROUND (OR: THINGS I WRITE ABOUT THAT AREN’T AS AMBITIOUS JUST YET/AT THE CURRENT MOMENT):
Here Lies Forever - a story focusing around two young people, Medb Flaherty and Virgil Sutherland, growing up at an orphanage amid war, abandonment, and sickness. Medb is a blind writer who dreams of traveling the world with Virgil, her best friend since their teen years, but when the war strikes too close to home, Virgil leaves Medb and their peaceful student life behind to join the army. Unwilling to let go, and recognizing the pain Virgil is in, Medb takes it upon herself to save Virgil, the both of them haunted by the ghosts of their pasts.
On the Corner of Maple Street - short stories about the lives of Sarah and Evangeline together, two lesbian women who met when Sarah was 28 and Evangeline was 31. Sarah was a toy maker and Evangeline was an actress. They have a son named Oliver, who’s now in his forties, and they’re grandmas to all the neighborhood children. They live on the corner of Maple Street :)
Partager Un Reve - short stories, often romantic, about two circus performers, Alyona Ledbedeva (who does aerial silks) and Li Mey Ri (an acrobat). They’re cute together, there’s not really much to say here.
Claire  - there’s a really old novelette floating around on my account and you can find it if you search Claire, but like it’s OLD. An 18th century French lady who contracted TB and died but was brought back by a necromancer named Cecil (Cecil is the character of my friend @sinnabon-cosplay !) and is now immortal. Fun times with Claire and Anthony usually involve lamenting the fact that they’re stuck as teenagers.
Miscellaneous - miscellaneous demon and monster characters like Alexander, Felicity (both vampires), Sparrow (succubus/Heather’s youngest sister), Zephyr (fae, husband of Spar), Lycan (she’s... a werewolf), and so on. Not really connected to a plot
Performing Possumhood - uh this was a play I wrote with my friend @holdingonmyheartlikeahandgrenade for a 24 hour play festival, it’s about a guy named Thomas who becomes herald for a kingdom and then on his first day of work, the king dies, and his son becomes king, except the new king??? is a possum???? and like no one does anything about it, so Thomas just feels like he’s going insane, poor guy (also everyone else is named Thomas except the king, whose name is His Majesty King Parthur Pencildragon of Alpacalot)
Nordic questing team - I’ve literally written nothing for these fools, but I’m tempted to make it into a dnd campaign! The characters I have are Val (short for Valnotte) (she’s a nokke), Hanne (human poison seller who wears an eyepatch just because), Fur (short for Bjorgolfur, he’s a werewolf who left his pack because he was too good at being alpha wolf but he didn’t want to be alpha, he wanted to press flowers and have a cute little cottage by a cliffside with a pretty garden damn it), and Bo (full name: Boscobel Blue, he’s a cow boy. Literally. He has cow ears and a big septum piercing and a tail. Also he’s a shepherd. His sheep are carnivorous :))) Make of that what you will)
Alice x Secret Garden - another play but where Alice Liddell and Mary Lennox are 18 years old and find themselves in Wonderland, after Mary is jaded from the end of WW1 and is frustrated at her friend Dickon’s marriage proposal, and Alice runs away, trying to retain her childhood as best she can
Retellings - I do myth and fairy tale and folk retellings! :) You can search ‘Tithonia’ for my sleeping beauty retelling, and I wrote Orpheus and Eurydice a while back. Still working my way through Icarus :’) Also ‘Mermaids Can’t See’ is a retelling of the classic mermaid story but written as a ??? field guide? journal entry? notes about mermaids?
If there’s a work you want specifically about a character, I always tag characters, and I also will tag character introductions and pictures/references of them as “beanpuff char[]”!

Promises {Chapter One}
“If you make a promise, you have to keep it. You can’t go back on one, because if you do, you have to flush your little finger down the toilet.”
There is nothing more sacred to Jasmine Dixon than a promise. When the world was destroyed and nothing was left, her promises became even more important to her and nothing would be able to stop her. All Jasmine wants to do is to be safe and, maybe try to, be happy.
The Walking Dead Fan Fiction
Word Count: 1435
Warnings: violence, murder
AN: This is a story that I wrote about five years ago and I have tried to rewrite it to make sense but stuck to the central storyline that I created when I was 14. I hope that you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed finding it and rekindling my love for the walking dead. Please do tell me if you would be interested in reading more and if you would want to join the tag list for this story.

I was lying in bed, trying to get to sleep, but I couldn’t; something felt off and it was keeping me awake. Looking around my room to try and take my mind off of things, I could see the wallpaper slowly peeling itself away from the walls, yellowing as it made it’s escape for freedom. I had a set of drawers that were basically useless as one of them didn’t open at all while the others took so long to open, that they may as well not open at all either. It made sense to just leave the draws empty (apart from the few trapped items) and just use the top as a shelf. The rug beside my bed was stained with so many different things and half of them I couldn’t even guess as to what they were. But I kept it there so that when I got out of bed, my feet wouldn’t become frozen when they touched the floor. Next to me on my bed was the teddy bear that my mom put in m…
“GET UP!” I heard dad yell as he ran into my room.
“Why? What is it?” I asked as I sat up, wrapping my blanket around me, “What’s going on?”
“We’re leaving.” My uncle yelled from his room.
“Jas, sweetie, pack some stuff and get into the truck.” Dad ordered, “Be quick. We have to leave as soon as we can.”
I stumbled out of bed and grabbed a bag; I ransacked my wardrobe and threw in a range of clothes as I didn’t know where we were going. I also made sure to grab the spare blankets that I kept under my bed before placing my teddy on top. Once I was sure that I had everything important, I grabbed my bag and ran to the car in my pyjamas.
“Where are we going?” I asked as uncle Merle got into the car.
“We have to go on a little trip.” He answered, “We just have to wait for your dad.”
“Why do we have to leave?”
“Can you stop asking questions. We just have to!” Merle yelled.
“Hey! Leave her alone.” Dad said as he got into the drivers’ seat before starting the car, “She’s just scared and confused.”
“We both know that she is going to have to grow up.”
“She doesn’t. She is still a child and she is not going to change because of this.”
“We all are going to have to change, nothing is going to be the same.” Merle whispered.
“Are you okay, Jas?” Dad asked after a while and I nodded, “No matter what happens, you listen to me and Merle, okay?”
“Yes, daddy.” I answered, “I promise.”
I fell asleep, leaning on Merle, with my legs against my chest and my blanket covered all of my body. The car stopped with a sudden jolt which woke me up. As my hair was everywhere, I grabbed a hair band to tie my long blonde hair into a messy ponytail: I couldn’t be bothered to tie it up neatly and just wanted it out of my face.
“Where are we, now?” I asked. Without even looking at me, dad responded with “Atlanta.”
“Lil’ brother, do you see those people over there?” Merle asked, pointing at a group of people.
“We should go and see if they need anything!” I told dad.
“Or we could rob them…” Merle suggested.
“Dad! Please don’t do that.” I shouted, “We’re nice people.”
“Stay with your uncle.” Dad ordered as he got out of the car and walked over to the people.
“He’s going to leave you.” Merle told me, “He’ll drop you like a sack of potatoes!”
“No! He loves me…” I whispered.
Dad walked back over and jumped into the car, “There’s a group of people and they’re setting up camp, not far from here. We can join them, or we can just sit here, your choice.”
“Let’s go! Maybe they’re nice people and we’ll have a fun holiday.”
“Or maybe, they want to kill us in our sleep.” Merle whispered to try and frighten me.
“We’re joining them.” Dad told us.
Dad started driving again, he went off road and drove past the people he had been talking to. It was a long drive and I just sat there, fiddling with my thumbs while humming to myself, “Can we listen to the radio, please?”
“No, Jazzy, the music isn’t on at this time of night.” Dad answered and I could tell that something was wrong.
“Why couldn’t we go on holiday tomorrow? During the day, when the music is on.” I asked, curious as to why we had gone on a midnight drive.
“Because we’re not going on holiday.” Merle admitted after a couple moments of silence, “We left because there has been a really big emergency.”
“W-what?” I asked, terrified, “He’s lying, isn’t he daddy?”
“I’m sorry, Jas, but he’s not.” Dad finally told me after what felt like an eternity.
We all sat in silence after that. I thought of all the things that could’ve happened that would make my dad scared. I could tell that that he was trying not to show it, but it was clear to me that he was terrified. If this made the strongest person that I know scared, it must be terrible.
When a clearing come into view, I knew that this was where we had been driving to. We got out of the car, but I left my bags in case we needed to leave suddenly. I started to look around at the people who were introducing themselves to me. I wasn’t really paying attention to what they were saying, instead focusing on staying close to dad.
“Hi, I’m Carl.” A boy who was not much taller or older than me came over, “What’s your name?”
“I’m Jasmine, how old are you?”
“10, you?”
“I’m nearly 10.”
“Wanna be friends?” He asked, sheepishly.
“I don’t know if my dad would allow that,” I admitted.
He gave me a big smile and whispered, “Don’t worry. I promise that I won’t hurt you.”
“Do you want to play a game with us?” Sophia asked.
“Yeah.” I replied sarcastically, “Because a game is a great idea, let’s all play a fun little game called survival.”
“You don’t have to be so mean!” Sophia yelled as she walked away with Carl.
I immediately regretted not saying yes. It was actually fun to play with them, well it looked fun. I never actually played any of their games. Even before the apocalypse, this would happen as I always played by myself. I wasn’t allowed to talk to the other children, but even if I had been allowed, they were too scared of daddy and Merle, so they tried to avoid me. At least, no one ever tried to mess with me. I was snapped back into reality when I heard the radio which everyone was no crowded around as we all tried to listen. I didn’t move from my spot on the floor. The adults started talking about the roads and signs, so I zoned out again because they never said anything that concerned me. I’m the youngest so they basically let me do what I want, as long as I don’t wonder too far.
I was searching the forest, looking for berries and other stuff when I heard moaning, but it was a weird kind of moaning and not the same as the usual geek moans. I followed he sound, and I saw something that will scar me for life: Shane and Lori doing the dirty. I gasped but covered my mouth and walked away. If Shane saw me, he would go mad. Not only did I find out about his little secret, but I was definitely too far away from camp. I started running back to camp when I tripped over. I went to get back up, but there was a geek right next to me. I screamed and tried to move away from it.
“HELP!” I yelled at the top of my voice.
I was petrified. This was the first time that I’ve seen a geek up close. The walker grabbed my leg, so I kicked it in the face. When I looked up, I saw Dale running over to me before he shot it. I ran and hugged him as he put his arm around me and led me back to camp. He stroked my hair and started telling me off for going out on my own, but none of it was going in.

The Virgin Suicides (1999) is Sophia Coppola’s adaptation of the novel by Jeffery Eugenides, also being her first feature film. The inspiration for the film came from her discovery of the novel in her mid-20’s. Despite being told from a male perspective, the story still seems to be an extremely feminine yet morbid coming of age tale. Coppola never imagined becoming a filmmaker, with a focus upon fashion in her late teens into her 20’s. In an interview, she says how she wanted to make a teenage film unlike the others. “There aren’t alot of quality art films made for teenagers,” she said, which she effortlessly did, portraying themes of teen angst, sex, boys, a desire to break away from societal norms, and family. The film also was low budget, as the budget dissolved a week before filming. Coppola gives credit to the novel for inspiring her film career. Her herself was in her early 20’s, which is a period of time in which you are still trying to figure yourself out as you do in your teenage years. Reflecting upon the film 20 years later, she had came to the realization that despite the male focus upon the Lisbon girls, the film felt so personal and feminine as a reflection of her life growing up. She was always surrounded by men with all brothers and all male cousins, so she found solace in grasping to femininity. This being said, it reflects the personal touch the film has, almost bringing the viewer back to reminisce in their own days of teenage angst.  .
Tumblr media
.
The film encompassed everything a teenage girl experiences, but brings a situation that isn’t exemplified in the typical coming of age film. The Lisbon girls, 13 year old Cecilia, 14 year old Lux, 15 year old Bonnie, 16 year old Mary, and 17 year old Therese, lived in a home of a scholar father, and a mother who was the obvious source of dominance and constriction in the house. The girls lived an extremely strict lifestyle, never being able to have interactions outside of their home and school life, never to dress in any manner that wasn’t conservative, and especially no romantic relations. The setting of 1970’s Michigan in an extremely tight knit neighborhood made their situation stand out from the other children in the neighborhood. Everyone knew one another, even if they had never interacted; and everyone knew the mysterious Lisbon girls. The film also visits religion quite frequently. The mother, Mrs. Lisbon, is a very high strung catholic. In many scenes, starting from the very beginning there is imagery of the Virgin Mary and sigils placed seemingly everywhere. A notable symbolic image is a card of the Virgin Mary, which we see in the opening scenes as Cecelia lays unconscious in the bathtub after her first suicide attempt. The card lies on the floor, splattered in blood. The themes associated with religion seem to be displeasure and breaking away. The theme of femininity also ties into the religious aspects. Despite the girl’s disapproval yet lack of voice upon their mother’s strictness and beliefs, every religious image is very feminized. Every time we see a rosary, or crosses, they are always surrounded by jewelry, flowers, perfume, intricate glass wear, makeup or small trinkets. The ratio to these objects is usually many feminine items with just one or two religious symbols, which displays an overpowerment that they could never express themselves. There is a profound sense of freedom the girls display, yet having no freedom at all. They are restricted by the boundaries of the religious values their mother follows, yet still embrace their girlhood and find ways to enjoy their femininity despite this.
.
Tumblr media
. The most profound technique I found in the film was the use of the soundtrack in accordance to each scene. For example, in this particular scene, the girls had begun to communicate with the boys through morse code; due to Lux not coming home on the night of prom, the girls were under house arrest. Lux was forced to burn all of her records, so the boys spend hours upon hours playing music through the phone for the girls. In this scene which shows a progression of the boys projecting the music overtime, and the girls listening, the song “Alone Again Naturally,” by Gilbert O’ Sullivan. Although the boys never personally knew the Lisbon girls, and had had only one interaction with them at most, there was a sense of loneliness coming from the boys as they dedicated so much time to please the girls. The girls had been granted the slightest amount of freedom to attend the dance, and because of Lux never returning home that night, they had once again returned to seclusion, but even stronger than before. In another scene, during Cecilia’s party, as she excuses herself, the song “The Air that I Breathe,” by the Hollies plays. In some sense, it acts as very ironic foreshadowing. For the entire duration of her party, Cecilia sat alone in the corner, while all of the other boys socialized with the older girls. Joe, the boy with special needs, was the only one kind enough to say hello to Cecilia and give her attention. The music abruptly stops when a sound is heard, and the father is found standing outside with Cecilia’s lifeless body impaled through a spoke in the fence.  .
Tumblr media
.
This scene in particular occurs directly after Trip leaves the Lisbon household after spending time with Lux as the mother sat in between them. Trip goes to his car, flustered and sits back in the seat with his head back and eyes closed, visibly flustered. From his body language, you can assume that this response was due to the lust from Lux’s embraced sexuality that she displayed very quietly so no one would catch on besides Trip. Through his car window we see the upstairs middle light turn on, which we can assume to be the parent’s bedroom. The car door opens, and Lux jumps in and immediately begins to make out with Trip. At the same time, the song “Crazy on You,” by Heart plays. The dynamic in this scene has clear sexual tension, and also highlights the theme of disobedience and teenage angst. Trip knew what he was getting himself into by trying for a girl in such a reserved family, but also with the knowledge that Lux had a personality unlike her sisters. In the reading “Pleasure in Looking/ Fascination with the Human Form,” the term scopophilia is brought up, which is the pleasure of looking. In Freudian theory, humans enjoy viewing things that bring them pleasure, and the idea of voyueristic viewing enhances this pleasure further. Cinema essentially fulfills every aspect of scopophilia; we as the viewers are watching Lux and Trip has this passionate moment, and as a viewer of two subjects within a scene, there is no possible way for them to have any knowledge of this. Having insight into an intimate moment reflects upon the viewer, and you can almost relate the the sexual tension from a personal reflection of your own experiences, and from your own teenage years.
.
Tumblr media
.
The film definitely acts as the most absurd coming of age movie you can get. In comparison to a film such as say, Sixteen Candles, there is no existential crisis that is met with a resolution that acts a life lesson. The boys are under the impression they will final have the moment they craved since the beginning of the film; to take the girls and run off and have what they imagined to be the time of their life. Instead, the girls had other plans the entire time. As the boys wait, each girl meets her demise. Bonnie was hanging, Therese overdoses on pills, and Lux is found with her fingers still clutching a cigarette, dead in the garage from carbon monoxide poisoning. If anything, the film is an anti coming of age film, yet the strong vibes of femininity and softness make the viewer feel as if it’s the complete opposite. Surely families exist as the Lisbon’s, yet the strong theme of escapism through death is hard to tell as the movie progresses.
.
Tumblr media
.
The tile of the film itself relates back to the major theme of religion. This theme doesn’t feel so prevalent aside from the imagery, but breaking it down becomes more understandable. In Catholocism, a virgin is a figure of purity, free of sin. The Virgin Mary was a saint because she was so pure, and conceived a child while never having sex, upholding her virginity. Despite Lux losing her virginity to Trip, the girls were viewed by everyone around them as completely pure girls who were perfect from their blonde hair down to their mysterious nature. All of the sisters met their demise through suicide, Cecilia being the first and the rest through a suicide pact. The title has two contradicting topics in nature; virginity and suicide. Maybe this acts as a not so gentle reminder that absolute purity does not always equate to perfection, as the matriarch mother believed. In fact, she believed that she raised her children perfectly and never did anything wrong. The film makes you question where true happiness actually comes from. In the mind of the family, upholding perfect standards of purity and Catholic values, and sheltering the girls from anything that could harm them, was the best way. The girls always wanted freedom, even if Lux was the forefront of breaking away from her family’s expectations. In the end, there is no perfect definition of what true happiness is. Everyone will always want what they truly desire, not what others confine them to. – JA

Vera’s answers under the cut - (Warning! My page will sing at you!)
1. How old is your sim? Currently 18 (but there’s going to be time jumps  along the way because I cannot, will not, narrate every year of her life XD)

3.  What is your sim’s zodiac sign? Aries
4.  What is your sim’s ethnicity? American (United North American States Grabbag: Russian and Italian from her father’s side; Panamanian (mestiza), Puerto Rican, Ukrainian, Chinese, English and German from her mother’s)

9. What environment did your sims grow up in? (strict, loving, cold etc.) Vera’s mother, Emilia, was strict with her and her siblings when they were young and allowed them increasing freedom as they grew older. Her father, Yulian, is much more indulgent - he spoiled them with everything they’d ask for but would be firm when backing their mother’s decisions, at least in front of the children. Her parents were loving but there was always an understanding that they were to keep themselves apart from others; the Volkovs were very insular to prepare the children for the ‘family business’. As a consequence, Vera looks out for her family’s interests first and doesn’t concern herself with the damage that they do to outsiders.

34. Is your sim a festive person? If so what’s their favorite holiday? She’s not festive in that she goes out of her way to decorate or participate when she’s by herself but she enjoys spending time with her family and following traditions together. Her favorite holiday would probably be Christmas - where the entire family gets together.

43.  What is a wish your sim has? To get rid of her biotic ability.
44. What is a flaw your sim has? She is extremely focused, to the point of tunnel vision at times. She is also demanding and can be uncompromising when she wants something. ‘My way or no way’.
45. How do others generally perceive your sim? People who meet Vera that she’s not looking to gain anything from, will see her as cold and aloof. She’s charming and engaging when she needs to be, which isn’t often.
46. Does your sim have a greatest achievement? Not really, not yet.
47. If they have one, what is your sim’s greatest regret? Not really. She feels justified in breaking it off with KT - he didn’t tell her about going into the Alliance and she doesn’t want anyone to know that she’s a biotic.
