how it feels to prep yourself for a serious conversation at work
#the long story short is that i got another offer to stay at my place 🥳 however.... the wage part is a mystery#i want to say yes i really do i also want to you know... let them know I don't want to earn less. i will take more responsibilities#my own insecurity is affecting my ability to be honest in a way that isn't too upfront that may be considered rude#and my insecurity is also making me doubt that i should even talk in the first place because it's asking who the hell do i think i am lmao#ive journaled a bit and calmed down im set on what to say when I meet my boss today and i think I won't sound rude#I'm just very grateful towards everyone in that place and i also can't forget this is a company they can replace me at the blink of an eye#soooo long story short. value yourself. if you have troubles like me in seeing yourself worth anything#value what you put into this word. value the work you do and the focus you give. value the time and value the effort. value the care#they're all parts of you indirectly or otherwise so
