One shot based on an rp I have with someone (soobin x oc)

She was torn.

She was torn between finally saying fuck it and dating Soobin, or not dating him.

Why would anyone choose the other option? I mean, who wouldn't date the wonderful Soobin Choi?

Jax mother fucking Marino.

She was crazy.

"But," she constantly told herself. "Soobin is way above your level. You don't compare to him. For Christ's sake Jax, you were evicted from your measly apartment. Why does he even like a nutjob like yourself-"

And it normally continued until she made herself depressed.

I mean, they'd talked about this before. When they confessed to each other, Jax had taken the initiative and telling him first. She knew he liked her, and he knew she liked him. They'd never said anything, though- until that day after certain events happened.

She told him she didn't want to date at the moment, and he respected her decision, promising to wait as long as she needed time.

Not that it made everything complicated now.

There was a growing feeling in her stomach, a nervousness and uncomfortableness that enveloped her the second she saw Soobin. Was that normal? She knew it wasn't, yet decided to never tell anyone about it.

It wasn't him- he was such a sweet guy, caring and gentle.

It was her.

Her, her, her.

Jax and her fucked up, traumatized, and just plain messed up mind.

That's the one thing she was afraid of Soobin finding out.

Though they'd liked each other for years (and I mean since she was in ninth grade, they were now both on their mid twenties) she'd never told him about her mind.

Her mind was a scary thing. And many daily reminders never made her forget, or get over it.

And now as she thought all of this, her phone rang. Soobin had been calling for some time now.

She ignored it though.

She wasn't scared of Soobin.

She was scared of commitment.
