Sonny Brisko was a well known VSF officer commonly recognized for saving people’s lives and streaming on youtube however, this also meant he worked a lot sometimes forgetting to prioritize you. Countless amounts of dates and hangouts forgotten, but he would always make it up to you in the end. This week was different however, his streams lasted till sunrise and you barely got to see him because he would sleep when you were awake then leave for work when he got up and just came home to stream. 

While he was at work one night as an officer, you just had enough. All you wanted was to have your boyfriend all to yourself for one night. You sat in your shared living room crying to yourself as you wondered why you weren’t as important to him anymore as you had been before when suddenly, you heard the front door unlock. Shit, you thought to yourself. You wiped your tears and your ruined mascara as you laid down pretending to be asleep, but it was too late you realized as you felt the couch sink next to you and a hand brushing the hair out of your face as he sighed. You slowly opened your eyes and looked at him.

His eyes widened slightly when your face confirmed that you were crying, “What’s going on princess?”

You looked away from him at the floor, not wanting to tell him out of embarrassment, “Just tired I guess,”

He looked at you as his eyes softened. He put his hands around your waist, hurling you up into his lap. He then moved his hands to each side of your face bringing you even closer, “Please… You can tell me anything I promise,” 

You couldn’t hide from him forever, you thought.

“I don’t know, I just feel like I haven’t seen you often. When I’m awake, you’re asleep and when you’re awake, I’m asleep. I know I shouldn’t be selfish and-”

Sonny cut your words off by pressing his soft lips onto yours. 

He pulled away for a moment before saying, “I’m sorry. I’m sorry my baby. I miss you so much. I promise I’ll take off a little bit. I won’t stream for so-”

Now, it was your turn to cut him off, “No it’s my fault. If I wasn’t so damn clingy,” 

“You’re not clingy baby. I know that I was neglecting you slightly. It’s all my fault for not doing anything sooner,” he hugged you even closer while you were in his lap, “Just stay right here with me for a while..,”
