Character Spotlight: Sonia Sepio

Birthday: July 21st

Personality: Quiet and reserved, especially around new people, but real sweet once she opens up to you! She loves to use kaomojis (❁´◡`❁) instead of words sometimes too. Sonia is hard of hearing, autistic, and selectively mute, so she more often uses sign language or a tts than her actual voice. She has a special interest in baking.

Backstory: Sonia grew up on the outskirts of Inkopolis, keeping to herself a lot of the time, and helping to run her family's little bakery, going to Inkopolis square is a big change for her, but she's come to like the charm of the big city, plus when things get too much she can just turn off her hearing aids. She was a bit late in finding out about the squid sisters, but she's come to really like them too. She’s become quite close friends with Briar and Gale, and they hang out a lot.

Sonia is always very cold, so she wears a lot of jumpers and warm clothing

Sonia, Todaro, and Chris all went to the same school!

Her name is derived from the glitter squid, her inking is glittery ☆*: .｡. o(≧▽≦)o .｡.:*☆
