@songoftime333 sent: [ Twilight Link] " Um.... Why are you collecting those monster parts?"
He blinks, looking at the jar full of chu jelly he's got nearly stuffed full, before looking back up at Twilight, arching a brow at him like that answer was completely obvious.
"Upgrading armor. What did you think I was collecting it for?"
#answered ;#songoftime333#link holding a jar of suspicious white goop “it's white chuchu jelly i swear”

@songoftime333 sent: [ From Riju] "Princess---?, can i tell you something?" She wanted to tell Link but since he's a guy she's never been sure how to tell him, Riju is a little nervous they don't feel like the chief in the moment they feel like a little girl talking to their elder sister.
"Oh, Chief Riju - you don't need to address me like that. Just Zelda is fine." Zelda feels, as she had since her return to Hyrule, very odd being addressed by her title. As far as she was concerned, her title meant little in a broken kingdom. "What is it you wish to tell? You look concerned."

@songoftime333 wanted a starter <3
"I'd ask why you still train, even in weather like this. But I feel I know the answer."
She was expected to do the same. Even if it was raining, she was to offer prayer to the Goddess. All attempts had ended in failure, thus far. It hurt, much more than she would have ever allowed to show to another person. That there was some power inside of herself, that refused to show.
Zelda is seated under the shelter of a tree, they had just been on their way to talk to the king of Zora's Domain. Rain was more common around these parts. The sudden rainstorm didn't surprise her.
A short sigh is breathed out through her nose, as she focuses on Link.
"Isn't there anything else you want to do, other than be the chosen hero? Certainly you must have more to you than swordsmanship."

@songoftime333
Kaz found herself among the wreckage of several guardians, not having much in the way of memory of how this had happened. Everything went by in a flash. Still at like these mechical bits might make decent replacement parts if she needed them. Sitting up she dusts herself off.
"Rogue war machines huh, Can't imagine what they'd be capable of if they were organized." She mused as she got up to sift through the wreckage.

He'd picked up enough of the different sounds and barks his wolf friend made during their journey together before, he can make a good guess at the sentiment. Link leans into the hold he's got, burying his face in the wolf's fur. "M'glad you're here, too. gets lonely out in the wild."
This attention he's getting pleases them, If Link looks closely there is a smile in their eyes. he's giving Link's face a little nuzzle as they nuzzle their muzzle, since they can't speak words all they can do is bark at Link and it's wolf for. [ I'm happy to be here with you. ]

@songoftime333 [ Link to Rauru] "What sort of things did you build?" He's very curious and is trying to be polite about it and not say ' when you were alive' that might be a little offensive their mind runs wild imagining what they would've built with this arm in their prime considering their time must've been very different then the one they know.
"When I was alive?" Raru noted in lilted tones, obviously humored by the question - and rather casual about the fact that he was no longer coporeal.
"Suprisingly very little. When i was not busy with royal matters, I was quite the tinkerer. After creating servant constructs, I could create a design and let them produce them en mass.
So it was a lot of starting ideas that never took off."

@songoftime333 sent: " Wild.... what happened to your hand? " He's very concerned this hand of theirs that's pretty messed up.
He'd thought he'd gotten used to bearing Rauru's arm, used to the stares and questions that came with it. Most people had long since stopped their double-takes, and most of the people closest to him knew what had happened. Hearing Twilight ask brought a soft, pained look in his eyes.
« Long story short, Ganondorf happened. »

@songoftime333 sent: 🌿 [ from Mipha]
Link gently took Mipha's hand in his, giving a light squeeze as he brought it up between them. Pressing a feather-light kiss to her knuckles, he let his free hand move to her waist, tugging her closer to offer her another kiss - this one soft and light against her lips.

@songoftime333 sent: [ wolf Link] " i see your efforts and i am so proud of you and everything you have done. "
To hear those words, after everything he's done and been through - especially of late, when he's been feeling lost and alone - Link couldn't even try to keep his mask up.
Tears were falling before he could begin to hold them back. It was all he could do to choke back a sob. Proud of him. He's heard thanks and cheer from the people he's helped, been given compliments and tokens of gratitude, but no one's said they were proud of him.
Coming from one of his predecessors, it meant more than Link could ever say, though word or sign.
He felt like a child, crying as he was, but those words hit something deep inside of him and threw him back to when he was a child, back to that first time he'd beaten a full-grown man in a swordfight. In his mind, Link heard those same words, proud of you, in his father's voice and it brought him to his knees beside his wolf friend.
Link curled his arms around Twilight and buried his face against his neck, tears slipping unrestrained into course fur. No words left Link, only those tears.

@songoftime333 🔥 [ for Twilight Link please]
He has to pause for a moment, Zonai hand at his chin as he thinks about the answer. "Mm - your warmth. For both your wolf form and your normal form. Not like... not like temperature, but just how much you care and make sure I'm taken care of, protected and safe."

"But... what if your heart is pulling you into many different directions? How can you be sure it isn't leading you astray?"
"How do you know if you're doing the right thing?"

An uncharacteristically bitter laugh escaped him. "Let me guess, they tried to kill you because they thought you were me."
It would figure that the Yiga were back to their grudge against him. For something he hadn't even done. Their leader's over-the-top attempt to defeat him had lead to the man's own technique backfire on him, knocking him into the hole. And the man had survived, as Link had recently found out.
"Sorry, they're a determined bunch." He would have laughed at bunch for the Yiga's obsession with bananas, but he was tired, his body hated him, he could feel the gloom in him shifting. "I think I need to lay down somewhere."
Link doesn't believe their response for a minute but they won't push it, they don't want to make them feel worse then they already feel, they are worried about them but will respect their wishes. They don't know exactly what's going on but they want to understand it better beyond what Ganondorf is what happened.
The islands falling from the sky, those hand things around Hyrule the walking trees, those ninjas in dusky red uniforms that disguising themselves as trees they experienced while they were searching for Wild he's quiet for a few minutes contemplating this all.
"I met some strange people today, some ninja people."

"That's not what I asked."
She wasn't stupid. The calamity could happen any day now, and it was terrifying to know that, after all of her devotion, she still didn't have the power to seal him away. It seemed as though her ancestors picked it up with no problem. No hesitation. She, however, was a total failure.
"I am well aware of the dire situation at hand. You need not remind me."
Perhaps a bit irritated, she remained silent for a little while. Just for a moment, her eyes close.
"It tells me that there was more to you than being a knight. If that was your first career choice, you would have spoken as such with no hesitation. You would not have said your feelings were not important. But I suppose we all have a duty to fulfill."
Well of course there is sense in her words, fine stopping what he's doing sheathing their sword and walks over to her and sits down besides her. Zelda is right they are avoiding her question. "There are more important matters. What else there is to me is not one of them. " That's what his father would say, their father before them had too once served her father and so he'd strictly enforced it upon them at two years old they too would too someday and now here they are Zelda's knight. Blue eyes look over at her then looks away tormented by the mere thought of what would've happened if they had not arrived in time. With that being said Link falls quiet and there is only the sound of the rain. There is something somber about it, why does the rain feel so sad? sure it's beautiful.... but yet sad and a sort of feeling of hopelessness.

"You can't upgrade yours?" He put the jar of chuchu jelly in his bag, settling it between a tightly rolled shirt and a folded bandana to keep it from breaking. Link looked over to his friend and predecessor. "Do you even have any other armor?"
He reached for the Purah Pad and thoughtfully pulled up the map. The closest store that sold armor was back at Lookout Landing. Maybe he could get Twilight something new there.
"There's a few Great Fairies. I haven't gotten to all of them yet, so I think a couple of them are still hiding from the Upheaval."
"Upgrade armor? since when? never mind --- that... that's pretty cool i guess." They are amazed by this it's something new everyday, this Hyrule is so unlike their own how time has passed how much time has passed how many centuries? Twilight looks very astonished at this they only getup they have is their ancestors green outfit. " So... there are great faries here in your world?"

His hand moves to tug the sleeve of his undershirt down, trying to cover as much of the Zonai arm as he can. As grateful as he was to Rauru for giving him the arm, he's a bit self-conscious of it from time to time. Ducking his head and letting his loose hair hide his face, Link looks away from Twilight.
"It's fine." He lies. It's not fine. He's not fine, but there's nothing either of them could do about it - not until Link regained his strength. Not until he rescued Zelda. "Don't worry about me. I'll be fine."
He has a composed facade, but they'd be lying if the name of the king of evil did not unsettle them and make them wonder how many more timelines must suffer their misdeeds. Twilight nods slowly their heart breaks for them having to suffer this. " I'm sorry." sorry for having to suffer this, sorry that there is nothing much they can really do.

"You're avoiding my question."
It was spoken softly, with no maliciousness in her tone. Of course, she too was happy to be alive. But that didn't change how multifaceted people were. The brain was just too complex to be only one singular thing, anyone could differentiate that. The same went for the Yiga.
She knew in her heart, that they weren't inherently evil.
Focusing on other senses, she embraced the feeling of the cool, wet grass. Zelda would have loved to be just about anything more than the failure she felt to be. The princess felt a need to prove herself, in one way or another.
"You don't have to answer, it was just curiosity. But you really shouldn't stay out in the rain like that. You'll catch your death of cold."
Out of stubbornness Link doesn't want to answer her question but also because they do not wish to burden her with his his reasons that go more beyond that he's feeling the pressure from all sides that gives him the feeling there are some people in Hyrule that see him as some super man. Turning his gaze the princess he's still a bit confused at her recent change in their attitude towards him she used to run away from him so much and yell but since the attack of the Yiga suddenly she's seemed to have a change of heart. After all they are just doing their job that's all it was. " I'm just glad you are still alive." He says seriously and then turns back onto what they were doing practicing their movements.
