Beast Gohan x Reader

'A very sudden, not quite warranted but enjoyable kiss.'

You couldn't help but stare. The red eyes coupled with the white hair left your gut twisting it a respectful amount of fear. Gohan relaxed into it and rolled his shoulders back, the usually polite and timid man grinning at you with oozing amounts of charisma and cockiness.

"What do you think~?" He purred. "Honestly."

Your mentor and friend looked at you in a way that made your knees weak. You felt like prey under his weighty gaze pray. You swallowed the sensation in your chest down. He was a married man!

"It's... New. You don't seem yourself, something in your face has changed, other than your hair and eyes." You mused aloud.

Gohan crossed his arms and looked bemused. "Like what-"

"You just don't look so.. polite." You laugh softly, his face contorting into irritated disbelief.

"So I look like an-"

"Asshole. Sort of." You began to laugh more heartily, covering your mouth. "I'm sorry Gohan-"

He shook his head and sighed. "I did ask for an honest response." He cocked a hip and placed his hands on his waist, looking you up and down.

You look down, then back up at him. "What? What is it?"

Gohan cracked a fanged smile. "Nothing.."

You reddened, feeling exposed. "Then why are you looking at me like-"

You where suddenly cut off by the young man pushing his mouth to yours, his spiky white bang brushing your forehead. Gohan stepped away after a moment with a shit eating grin plastered on his face.

"GOHAN!" You touched your lips, your mouth buzzing from either emotions or his energy. "Why did you do that!?"

He grinned, running a tongue over his lip, like he was tasting the remnants of you off his skin. Your insides quaked, and your mind span.

"Why not? You looked all cute and flustered." His voice was gravelly and deep (thanks Beast) and his eyes still wandered you.

It was like he was someone else. Your gut twisted tighter, and you stepped back, but he advanced on you, red eyes piercing into your skin.

You regretted the short shorts and cami now- perhaps you shouldve sacrificed a little sweat and worn a jacket.. even in this heat.The blood red eyes prowled over your skin as he stepped closer... and closer.. until he grasped your shoulders and held you in place.

"Are you trying to run from me?" He husked, his tone accusing.

You shook your head- but you were. He was intimidating.

Gohan felt a pang in his heart. Were you.. scared? Had he overstepped his boundaries-? He deformed and gave you a sad look with his original big black eyes. "Did I scare you?" He sounded concerned.

This was the Gohan you loved. The soft eyes and gentle voice.

But the Beast ... that was something else. It made your face hot and insides tremble with anticipation of something that would never come.

"No-" you breathed. The kiss had stolen the breath from your lungs.

Gohan touched your face, gently, with the tips of his fingers. Your cheeks were hot and blushed.

"Are you sure?"

You nodded. "I just.. why did you kiss me? That was super uncalled for." You crossed your arms. You didn't appreciate having your feelings meddled with- wether he was aware of them or not.

He gave you that signature clueless Son family look, before his gaze faltered and his shoulders drooped.

"Sorry Y/N- sometimes forms come with their own unique personalities, I didnt mean it in any way-"

You sighed. Your feelings hurt, but that was the way it had to be. All those years ago, when you had stayed away to train, you had been absent when Videl had appeared in his life during your teen years. The feelings you had had to be forced away when you returned hearing of their engagement. Your heart had shattered, but you eventually healed, even if some of the fleeting feelings for him never went away.

"No worries." You swallowed again.

Gohan tilted his head. He knew, and had always known. Perhaps Beast Form brought out an emotion he had never acknowledged before? He frowned, looking down at your face when something dawned on his. Something achingly painful.

Oh. He liked you. And had for a long long time.

He stepped back, blinking and bewildered.

You frown. "Are you alright?" He looked like he had seen a ghost.

He shook his head, and squeezed his eyes shut. "Oh." He whined to himself. "This is bad."

Now it was your turn to be concerned and step towards him. "Hey, it's no big deal! It's fine!" You started, grabbing his hands in an attempt to calm him down.

He paused and met your eyes. "It is a big deal." His tone was hushed. "Because I've wanted to do that since I was 14. I've squished it down for years but... I guess the more raw side of me doesn't have the same censor as I do."

There was a thick silence between you both, his hands in yours, your eyes locked on his.

Joy and petrifying fear jumped about in your stomach.

"W-what?" Your heart thrummed in your ears.

"I..I am sorry, Y/N. Truly." His warm, dark eyes searched yours. You could tell he felt terrible.

"Gohan.." He had just admitted to liking you all those years ago. Now he was apologising for that?! "Gohan I liked you too. I still do. But you're married." The words came out strangled. The confidence you had been gathering sifted through your fingers like sand.

Gohans breathing seemed to halt. "You.. what?"

"I liked you." You reiterate gently. "I ... still do. I always have."

"You.."

"Since i was 13 years old, Gohan. Every single day I wrote in my stupid journal that I would marry you when I grew up- but then I left. And you grew up with out me, and that's my fault and my fault alone. Videl is a beautiful wife and excellent mother." You were choking now, tears brimming in your eyes.

"Oh.. Y/N." He soothed, pulling you to his chest and wrapping you in his strong arms. "I had no idea. I.. I want to say sorry but I don't know if that's the right thing to say-"

You bury your face in the purple material of his gi. "Don't apologise for anything. Please."

You stood in a silent embrace for a little while, a thousand words spoken but unsaid. His hand came to your chin and tilted your head up, and he kissed you again, better this time. Gentle and silent, his hands cupping your face.

It was an apology, a feeling gone unexpressed, covered in cobwebs that his kisses gently brushed away. He tasted you, earning him a whimper, rewarding you with a small smile against your lips.

Once Gohan pulled away, he thoughtfully adjusted a few stray hairs about your face.

"I can never do that again."

"I know." You leant into his hand.

".. Even if I want to." He looked at your lips again.

".. Just.. just one more?"

His mouth was on yours again, mumbling "more" against your lips over and over, his hands grasping your waist.

This week was about to get very complicated.

Napping With Goku Headcanons | Goku x Reader |

author's note: took a nap and wanted big man in bed with me 🤷‍♀️

pairing: goku x fem!reader

warnings: fluff, will make you want big man in bed with you too

Being the wife of Goku is a daunting task

Cooking for him, cleaning up after him, and not to mention his libido makes him a hard man to keep up with

As a result, you take naps

You tend to frequent at least two a day, sometimes more if you don't have much on your to-do list

Your usual morning routine is typically to make breakfast, tidy up the house, take a shower, and then have a small nap, normally about an hour long

Goku's normally training during the day, so when you get in bed, you're by yourself

But when you start to come to again, the bed is dipped beside you and there's a solid mass slung over you, usually accompanied by snoring

You smile with a soft chuckle, a little yawn escaping your lips while you snuggle in further

He's got to have some kind of nap radar, because Goku is always here for naps

Goku likes tucking his face into your neck, in love with how you smell and finding comfort in it when he needs a little extra help falling asleep

He also presses small kisses to the skin there while he's falling asleep

You're thankfully only partially crushed by his thick, muscled body, as he keeps most of himself on the mattress instead of you since the last time he didn't mind his weight, he got an earful and didn't get to finish his nap

His arm is tightly around you, giving you very little wiggle room. Even when you fall asleep side-by-side, you always wake up in this position

A very low, quiet hum escapes you while you close your eyes and comb through his pitch black hair, occasionally scritching at his scalp with your nails

Goku nuzzles his face further into your neck, his lips brushing a soft kiss against you

Another yawn passes your lips and you squeeze him just a bit

"Mmm... Issit time to get up?" He mumbles every single time he wakes up beside you. He'd be content sleeping all day, if you'd let him

"Hmmm... Not just yet."

"Mkay... Good." He'll pull you just a bit closer to him, moving his head and nuzzling your sleep-warm cheek

"Soft... Warm..." He'll mumble rather adorably, his eyes still closed and voice cloaked with sleepiness

"Mhm." You hold back yet another yawn and lean your head against his, sleep slowly claiming you both again

You only tend to get another thirty minutes of naptime, though, before Goku's poking at your cheek to wake you

"Mmm... Hnn... Hm?" You blink away the blurriness, slowly realizing the wide-eyed, innocent look on your husband's face

"Can we have lunch now? I'm starving!"

At least you still have the 3pm nap

Bonus Headcanons: Napping with Baby!Gohan and Goku

When Gohan is born, the naptime routine is completely shot

The baby is up frequently for nursings, so you're always on alert for him to wake up, and lose out on precious cuddles with Goku, alongside those much-needed winks of sleep

Goku is not meant to be a housewife, as his attempt at sharing the household chores proves. Though you do appreciate his sentiment, and tend to saddle him with the baby so the dishes can be done without something breaking

Sometimes, though, Gohan's naps line up with yours, meaning you can actually do as everyone says to and sleep when the baby sleeps

You'll be nursing him in his rocking chair when he falls asleep, and you've got zero time to fawn over how damn cute your son is when he's asleep

You hurry to the bedroom, careful with Gohan as you climb into bed

"Yes, nap time!"

"Not if you wake him up!"

"Oops!"

Goku strips down to his undies and basically flies under the covers with you, taking little Gohan and laying him on his broad chest, the little bean snuggling in comfortably in his father's warm embrace

He'll pull you into him, a protective hand on the baby's back and the other comfortably rubbing the soft curve of your waist

You lay on your side and curl into his muscled body, linking your fingers with his hand on Gohan's back, the both of you protecting your precious son from potentially rolling off of Goku's chest

Goku will drop a kiss on your forehead and then one on Gohan's before settling into the pillow

You all sleep for a few good hours, smiles on your faces when it's time to get up again

Goku will look down at you with that sleepy smile, blinking slowly with a noise of surprise when you kiss him full on the lips

Napping is his favorite thing to do with you

Saiyans w/ Babies Headcanons

☆☆ Pairing: character x female reader ( black & non-black ) ☆☆ Content: implied established relationship. gendered babies. good/bad parenting headcanons. fluff. familial / storge love. how the baby has their canon siblings is up to you. ♥

Goku — It's a girl!

He is a coddler, always ready to take care of her. He wants to do everything for the baby, hold her everywhere they go, push her stroller, fill quiet spaces with her giggles, take bubble baths together, and play with her every second of the day. Goku will jump to do anything she needs. Except maybe change her diaper. But he won't put up a fuss if he has to do it. Nap times are hard for him but he understands the importance of your baby needing her sleep. Sometimes he falls asleep watching her if he's 100% sure it's safe. It's a miracle when they wear themselves out and nap together. He tends to get antsy if he's away from her for too long. He will use the phone Bulma gave him to call you so he can talk to her when he misses her (unfortunately it doesn't work in outer space). It's only natural that once she starts to show signs of her power he's going to want to start training her, but will wait until she's old enough to talk and walk before really pushing for it. You keep little reminders around the kitchen of how much she is allowed to eat at a time to prevent overfeeding her, but sometimes Goku gives her just a little extra. A child of his must have a healthy appetite just as he does.

If existing siblings: Goten is just another Goku, very playful with his little sister and tries to show her all the games he and Gohan use to play when he was little. Gohan around his time is busy with school/work, but when he does come around he joins in on the old games. He will offer to babysit her to give you and Goku a break, also so Videl can spend time with her too. Expect some training to really start by the time she's 4 or 5.

Cons- Goku is not helpful at night or if the baby is ill. Goku is a heavy sleeper, by the time his brain reacts to the baby crying in the middle of the night, you've already got a handle on it. He will at least stay up to help where he can as he is sympathetic to her crying. But if she is sick, then he's not sure what medicine he is supposed to give her or if she has to go to the hospital.

Vegeta — It's a girl!

His baby is a clinger. Strong, little hands that hold onto everything and don't do well with separation. Of course Vegeta cares for his child but tends to be hesitant actually holding her because of it and the fuss that follows when he pries her hands off. But he will still hold her every time, getting used to his ear and the skin of his cheek being pulled. It excites him knowing that his baby girl has this kind of natural strength and can only imagine what kind of latent power she'll develop as she grows. If she's only half-saiyan, he is the one who makes the call to remove her tail while she's still young. It's a bittersweet decision, but he knows it's a safety precaution for her and you. Definitely one to brag about his baby. Vegeta actually panics if the baby is sick or if she has a small fall that bumps her head and will take it out on others regardless of blame. Because of the baby's clingy behavior, it could be hard for him to leave anywhere or to go train. Unless it's a dire situation, he knows that the moment she sees him leaving she's going to cry and he'll feel guilty. Depending on where you all go in public, Vegeta will be standing very close to the stroller or he will insist on carrying the sleeping baby everywhere while you handle things.

If existing siblings: Trunks is the most protective of his younger siblings and loves to see his family grow. Bulla loves having a little sister the most and tries to play dress up with her. The two girls will get the last say on things as Trunks (being the only son) will get outvoted. Like her older siblings, your daughter will have more distinct features that resemble you but like Trunks will have a scowl just like her father. Trunks and Bulla were also clingy babies so Vegeta most likely already has practice dealing with it and learns to keep small toys for gripping so he can hold her without the fussing or those tiny nails scratching him up. Future Trunks would be ecstatic to know he is a big brother and it will make more determined to protect a world and future where she would be safe too.

Cons- He gets frustrated when he can't soothe her. Sometimes babies just cry and when he can't figure it out he lets his temper get the best of him. Sometimes raising his voice at the baby and immediately regrets it when it scares her. That's when you have to take over and let him get out of the house. He will try to make up for it after he's calmed down or had some time to train again.

Broly — It's a boy!

The smiliest little guy you've ever seen and a spitting image of his father with skin and colorful eyes reflecting light like yours. Broly never saw this amount of joy in being a parent for himself. He was happy to know you were pregnant with his child, but to see the baby for the first time made him very emotional, realizing that he officially has become a father. He was given another person of his own to cherish and love. A family! Because he can't really talk to the baby, Broly mimics all the little things you do to show your love: stacking kiss upon kiss to his cheek until he giggles, playing peek-a-boo with a blanket, and humming to him. It's the most gentle he can ever remember himself being. If he could he would sit from sun up to sun down holding his son without moving an inch. He loves to hold him when he sleeping the most and wrap him in Ba's ear, but it does make it difficult for you when you need to lay him down for a nap or for the night. Broly's really out of his element and has to be shown the right way to hold him, feed him and change him. Absolutely hates being separated from his son longer than a day or two, but he does have his own training to work on and is twice as focused on it knowing he has his son to protect. Broly can't wait until he's big enough to play with.

Cons- He is too overprotective. Aside from your family, Cheelai, Lemo, Goku, and Vegeta, he's not letting anyone else get close to his son while he's so young. Not even Lord Beerus. He can also be helpless and get worked up if he cannot calm his crying child or help them while he's sick. He blames himself for it if it starts when he's with him. Until his son starts to show signs of his power being like his, Broly is not letting anyone remove his tail either and will become short-tempered when it gets brought up. He just wants to give his son a chance to live like everyone else in a safe place and without being judged by things he may do instead of what he can do.

Raditz — It's a boy!

Overall he has a very well-tempered baby boy who one would think rarely cries, but he's also prone to the worse temper tantrums. Raditz both likes and dislikes it, a sign that his son is a strong and healthy saiyan, but the fact that you won't allow him to stick your baby in a nursery pod when he's fussy can make the crying a bit excessive on his nerves. He learns to get used to it since it's not often. Often holds his baby on his shoulder with one hand, whether resting stomach-down while he's sleeping or supporting his back so he can sit up there. He tries to carry him with his tail but you ask him many times not to do that while he's so small or the pressure may make him puke up, so instead he does it when the baby is lying down next to him. The more mobile the baby is on his own, the more he is able to really bond and play with him. You can catch them both crawling after each other, chasing the other down in a fit of laughter. Raditz's son starts to show early signs of his saiyan abilities ( flight mostly ) which can lead to them sometimes playing a little rougher, but they sleep it off together, passing out in odd positions where they fall.

Cons- He puts too many expectations on his child, comparing his development to his own childhood. Raditz is not very helpful or handy with a newborn/infant stage which could leave you dealing with the baby alone throughout that stage. Even with saiyan blood coursing through his body, you have to remind Raditz that you're not raising your child for war and he would have to wait for him to get a little older before you were comfortable with him training him. Like Vegeta, he tends to lose his temper when he can't soothe a tantrum from crying and will distance himself to get some peace.

Bardock — It's a girl!

And a very independent-behaving child. Bardock most likely was not present during those early stages or to see his baby girl born, but she's still small enough that he can interact with her without feeling lost in what he should do to bond with her. He talks to her like she's another adult and she smiles at him like she understands but knows it mostly goes over her head unless he mentions some familiar words that perk her up. Bardock is more interactive with her when he's just gotten back home from his missions, she often gets to greet him before you and that immediately lightens his mood from all the troubles that follow him home. He'll carry her around more or let her ride on his shoulders, gift her with souvenirs from other planets, and play with her. However, Bardock does tend to get restless and can't focus on much until he's leaving out for his next mission. If there is one thing he would try to teach her is how to master her Great Ape form, he himself being one of few who are able to control himself in it.

If existing siblings: The baby would probably see Kakarot and Raditz as much as they see Bardock. Bardock is actually relieved to have a daughter instead of another son, a part of him knows that there would be more roles for her to stay on the planet than venture out and claim some planet for Frieza. Especially if she is weaker. He can't really help that with his two boys, but he doesn't want his little girl going out unnecessarily. Even if she would be as fierce a warrior, there had to be more she could do than live the life of a low-class warrior. It may be a while before she gets to really bond with her big brothers. Raditz would point out some favoritism for her over himself and Kakarot and come to resent her a little but the latter will probably not think much of her. If she's half-saiyan, then "Goku" would indeed be her best friend and treat her like she's his own kid but she may not have that chance with Raditz.

Cons- Bardock does put his lifestyle before his child and would not be very present. He is a man stuck in his ways as a low-class saiyan warrior and he has to answer the calling. Spending time with you and his daughter is him mostly biding time for the next mission, so while he does get to see her and become familiar with her budding personality, you will mostly be raising her alone. He does still cherish the moments with his daughter.

Gohan — It's twin boys!

He definitely didn't see that coming, but he has a bright pair of twin baby boys! Gohan is very attentive to his babies since he's handling two at a time. It's not like helping his mom with Goten at all. He has mixed them up before but the more they grow into their features, the more he can tell them apart. Sensing their ki also helps. Gohan takes a lot of time away from school/work to help you with the twins. At least until they are a little older. He knows he's going to have to put in some extra effort to catch up or even to get the position he wants when he goes back but his priority is to you and his family right now. Even with help from his grandfather, parents, and little brother, he wants to be sure he's there for these early stages of their lives. Gohan has the best support system when Piccolo is also factored in that he can have a healthy work/life balance, but he doesn't think about it when he's reading his twins to sleep, washing their hair before bed, or feeding them breakfast in the morning. You actually have to convince Gohan to go back to work/school ( with Chi Chi's encouragement as well ) once the babies are bigger and you can manage them on your own. He will show off all the pictures he took of them to his colleagues and video chat every lunch break so he can eat with them. The twins show off a level of intelligence beyond their development sometimes and it's chalked up to just there being two of them or even linked to their saiyan biology but it can make them a little mischievous.

If existing siblings: Big sister Pan is a big helper to her little brothers. She can't wait for them to get old enough to start training with her and Piccolo. She takes her older sibling responsibility very seriously and will help you and Gohan anywhere she can. Gohan would like to think from raising Pan and his own little brother that he has all the experience he needs to handle his twins but they wise up quickly and show they can be a handful.

Cons- Gohan is a pushover and gives the babies anything they want. He gets reprimanded for it by everyone, but he really can't help it! Two heads working against him tend to make him cave to their little demands and he can end up spoiling them. But it makes him happy to make them happy.

On the Brink of Destruction

Pairing: Son Goku x Reader

Words: 4300+

Author’s Note: Ayo. It’s ya girl. So, I’ve been watching Dragon Ball Super and I love the show. I watched Dragon Ball Z when I was a kid, so I’m glad that I’m getting back into the series. I hope whoever reads this likes this, even if you’re in the fandom or not!

I finish munching on the feast I cooked myself, squeezing my eyes shut as I have the biggest smile on my lips.

"Mm, damn, Y/N. You make yourself one good meal," I chuckle to myself while leaning back in the chair, rubbing my tummy. "I may not train much as a Saiyan anymore but I can sure still eat like one."

The phone ringing interrupts my thoughts, glancing over at the device before getting out of my seat. "Hello?" I answer after picking the phone up.

"Y/N! Hi, it's me, Bulma!" The familiar cheery voice speaks and a smile comes to my lips.

"Bulma, hi. How are you?" I ask and move to sit on the couch in my living room.

"I'm doing good. Busy as always. Well, actually Trunks, Vegeta, and I just got back from a family vacation," she tells me and I let out a laugh.

"Wait… you got Vegeta to go on a vacation? That doesn't sound like him at all," I chuckle.

Bulma lets out a laugh as well. "Actually, it was his idea," she informs and my eyes widen.

"No. Way. Wow, he's changed since the last time I saw him," I frown and narrow my eyes a bit.

"You know everyone misses you. Goku especially," Bulma mentions and I can feel my cheeks heating up. What? Goku missing me? Huh?? "He and Chi-Chi ended up getting a divorce a few years ago."

"Really? Wow, I never thought that they would split," I mumble quietly into the phone.

"Same. I don't think anyone did. It was a surprise to us all. Anyway," she screams and I pull the device away from my ear, jumping slightly, "I'm calling to ask if you wanna come to my birthday party in a few days. I rented out an entire yacht for us to take."

I slump in my seat a bit, not expecting this invitation as my lips move, trying to form a sentence. "O-Oh, I don't know, Bulma…"

"Please?? I haven't seen you in months and it would be amazing if you came. Everyone you know is gonna be there. You won't feel left out. Please?" She begs and I let out a sigh.

"I mean… I-I guess I can," I tell her and she begins to cheer excitingly. I laugh at her cheering, hearing Vegeta in the background telling her to shut up. "I'll see you soon, Bulma."

"Bye! Can't wait!"

Bulma's Party

I've been on the back of the boat for about fifteen minutes, too nervous to greet everyone I used to be so close with. I rub my hands against my jeans, calming my breathing.

"C'mon, Y/N. After what happened I’m sure everyone will understand why you left," I tell myself and look out at the water.

I shudder at the memories of almost getting killed by Frieza, Goku saving me from the final blow seconds before the fatal blow. Ever since then I distanced myself from everyone and the fighting, the anxiety from almost dying isolating me from it all.

"I can't believe my eyes," a deep voice calls out and I jump, twisting my body around to see Vegeta himself standing behind me with his arms crossed across his chest.

"Vegeta," I trail off and clears my throat a bit. "Uh, long time no see."

He snickers slightly, taking a step forward. "I'm surprised you stuck to your word of coming," he tells me and I frown. "It's good to see you."

My eyes widen at his words, never picturing them coming out from the Prince himself. "It's good to see you too, Vegeta. How's Kakarot?" I chuckle, loving the nickname he has for Goku.

Vegeta huffs, rolling his eyes before walking away. "Go see everyone, Y/N."

I chuckle as I watch him walk towards the lounge chairs that sat by the pool. I take a big breath, heading towards the other end of the ship. The aroma of various foods hit my nose and my mouth waters, finding myself beginning to walk faster.

"Y/N! You made it!" The blue haired lady practically screams, gathering everyone's attention. I stop in my tracks, fiddling with my fingers for a few seconds before giving a small wave.

"Hey," I mumble with a small smile, feeling more nervous than ever.

It stays quiet for a few moments before everyone calls out my name and runs over to me. "Y/N! It's been too long," Yamcha exclaims while bringing me into a hug.

A chuckle leaves my lips as I return the hug. "It has been. I've missed you guys, honestly," I tell everyone and my eyes meet Gohan. "Gohan? Little Gohan? Is that you??" I ask and push past some of my old friends. "Look at you!"

"It's good to see you, Y/N," he smiles as we hug for a few seconds. "How have you been?"

I scratch the back of my head while smiling at him. "I've been pretty good. Lonely, but good. Luckily, Bulma here convinced me to come to her party."

Giggles sound through the air as I turn my attention towards the two kids running our way, stopping suddenly at the sight of the large cluster of people.

"What's going on?" Trunks ask and I smile softly, haven't seen the child since he was a baby.

"Trunks, Goten, this is an old friend of ours. Y/N, you remember Trunks and this is Goku's youngest, Goten," Bulma introduces and my heart swells. My eyes move to the black haired child that has the exact hairstyle as Goku.

"Hi, Trunks. You probably don't remember me since you were just a baby when your mom would visit me," I crouch down to their level. "And hi, Goten. Don't you look just like your father." I giggle while ruffling his hair.

"Are you a Saiyan like us?" Goten asks and I nod my head.

"I am, but I haven't fought in a very long time," I tell them before standing up. I turn to face Bulma, tucking a strand of hair behind my ear. "Is Goku here?"

She frowns slightly and shakes her head. I press my lips together, nodding my head as I feel a bit disappointed. "Sorry, Y/N. He's training at King Kai's."

"No, no. It's okay. I got to see the majority of you. I mean I even got to see Vegeta which is a huge shock," I chuckle and Bulma's eyes widen.

"Wait, Vegeta's here? Where?!" She asks while rushing towards me.

"He's at the front of the ship," I inform her and pointing in the direction of where I came from before.

She smiles widely, standing up straight while mentioning she'd be right back before running off.

Goku's POV

I groan in pain, my eyes still closed as I lay still. Fuck. That hurt a lot.

"Vegeta," Kai starts as I continue to lay, not able to move my body. "This is King Kai can you hear me?" He asks while staring into the distance.

"King Kai? What could you possibly want from me?"

"Yeah. Drop the attitude for a few seconds, I'm trying to help you here," he tells him. "There's a being called Beerus The Destroyer and he's headed to earth as we speak."

"Beerus The Destroyer? I think I've heard that name before."

"Well, good for you. I'm sure you're very worldly and cultured. Now he's awake and looking for a challenge, so don't engage him in any way. That means no insulting, no fighting, no Vegeta-ing of any kind. Otherwise, if someone or something sets him off, it'll mean the complete destruction of Earth!" Kai practically screams while waving his small arms around.

"You really think he'd blow up the earth?"

"And just in case you have delusions of grandeur and think you can fight him, well, don't! He already beat Goku in two blows!"

"Are you serious!? He defeated Kakarot that easily!?"

"Yes! That easily," he finishes and I let out a few more groans, trying to sit up. "Oh, look who's conscious." I glance over at the three beside me as King Kai springs up, noticing something.

"What is it?" I ask, noticing the change in demeanor.

"There's an energy on earth I haven't felt in a long time," he mumbles and looks up to the sky, peeking in. A gasp leaves his lips a few seconds later. "Wow. I never thought I'd see her again."

"Her? Who are you talking about? Forget it. We have to warn earth! Beerus is heading there now," I tell him.

"I already took care of it. I told Vegeta. He's the one I bet on to stir up the most trouble, not counting you," Kai mentions as I sit up. "But, Goku. It's Y/N. She's there. At Bulma's party. Where Beerus is headed."

"Vegeta and Beerus? Yeah, you're right. That could get ugly fast," I mutter not noticing the other news he told me. "I need to get down there, too."

"Stay down, you're hurt!" Gregory tells me as I sit up fully.

"I can't sit here while the earth's in danger!" I groan while standing up slowly. "I have to find a way to stand up to this guy!" I fully stand up, tripping back slightly as I clench my fists. "W-Wait…" I trail off, looking down at Kai, "did you say Y/N is there? The same Y/N I saved years ago?!"

King Kai nods his head and my urge to go back to earth grew stronger. I adjust my gi, powering up to make my way to earth when Kai grabs a hold of me.

"Stop it, Goku. You can't! As the Kai of your quadrant I expressly forbid you from going to that party," he tells over top of me.

I stop yelling, the aurora around me dispersing and I begin to scratch the back of my head. "What are you talking about? You're the one who said I should go because you were worried about my social life, whatever that means."

"That was before I knew Lord Beerus was going there too! That's the only reason you want to go now and you know it!"

"Well, yeah. I'm not gonna argue that. Also, you told me Y/N was there and I want to see her. I haven't seen her since she almost died," I trail off and look into the distance, "y'know, after all these years it still blows me away how great these Senzu Beans are. I'm totally healed up!"

"What was I thinking giving you one?" Kai exclaims as him and the other two continue to hold onto my legs.

Y/N's POV

I stood with Chi-Chi, Android 18, and another woman I can't remember the name of as Bulma was complaining about Vegeta. I noticed Master Roshi snooping around us, clearly interested in all five of us before my eyes move towards Trunks yelling.

"Move!" He screams while pushing Goten out of the way. I chuckle to myself as the two began arguing, thinking about how adorable they are.

I finish the food that was on my plate, humming contently before placing it on a table nearby. I find myself lost in my thoughts as I look around me, actually enjoying myself and seeing all of my old friends.

"Y/N!" Bulma calls out while waving a hand in my face. I jump a bit, my eyes focusing on the blue-haired girl in front of me. "Come help me find Vegeta, please. Maybe you'll get him to come join the party."

I chuckle while nodding my head. "Sure. I don't know if I'll be much help, but it doesn't hurt to try."

The two of us walk in silence towards the side of the ship. "So, do you still have feelings for Goku?" She asks and I stop in my tracks, looking at her with wide eyes.

"I-I… Wha-... I don't know what you're talking about," I stutter like a fool, my cheeks heating up slightly.

Bulma chuckles before sighing, putting her hands up. "Whatever you say. This conversation isn't over."

We turn the corner to see Vegeta laying on the ground with two others standing in front of him. I furrow my eyebrows, wondering who they are as Bulma sighs.

"Please tell me you're not doing push-ups," she states as he just groans in answer. The feline looking guy smirks a bit as Vegeta's upper body hits the deck. "Are you okay?!" Bulma asks, worriedness laced in her voice.

"Stay back! Get out of here!" He yells at us.

"That's not a very nice way to speak to a woman, Prince Vegeta," the feline spoke before turning to face us. "Nothing to worry about miladies. He's just had too much punch."

"Who are you guys?" I speak up, crossing my arms over my chest.

"I'm sorry. We should have told you," the bluish man answers. "My name is Whis and this fine gentleman over here to my right is Lord Beerus."

"We were just passing by your planet when we saw Vegeta and thought we'd stop to give our regards," Lord Beerus tells us.

"Oh, you're from space, huh?" Bulma asks and I chuckle silently. "I guess I should have put that together. Well, this is a pleasant surprise. To tell you the truth I didn't think Vegeta had friends."

She begins to walk towards him as Vegeta yells at her to stop. "I'm Bulma, Vegeta's wife, believe it or not. And this is Y/N, an old friend of ours."

"It's both an honor and a pleasure to meet you both. If you don't mind telling me, Y/N," he calls out and I straighten up, "do you happen to be a Saiyan as well?"

I clear my throat, dropping my arms to my sides. "Uh, yes. I am," I answer him before glancing towards Vegeta.

"Today's my birthday and were having a little party. Though I guess it's a "big party" when you rent a ship," Bulma luckily steals Beerus' attention. "You're both welcome to join us if you'd like."

"My, my, what a generous offer, Earth woman. Thank you. Honestly, my nose has been tantalized by some most intriguing aromas since we came aboard," he states and Bulma steps forward, grabbing his arm.

"In that case, let's go!"

"Wait!" Vegeta yells as the three of them walk away. I slowly step towards Vegeta before crouching down.

"Who… the hell was that? What's going on?" I ask him, noticing the whole tension that has been in the air.

The dark haired man looks up at me, eyes wide. "That's Lord Beerus, God of Destruction. He's looking for a thing called a Super Saiyan God. He already went to see Goku on King Kai's planet. We need to make sure he doesn't get upset otherwise he'll destroy the planet."

My eyes widen at the new information, glancing back at the empty spot in front of us. "Oh, my..."

Shit is going down. That's the only way I can explain what's happening right now. Apparently, Buu wouldn't share his pudding with Beerus and now the two are currently fighting. Well… Buu's fighting and Beerus don't seem affected at all.

"You know, I consider myself as a flexible deity," Lord Beerus starts as he spins Buy around like it's nothing. "And though I try to shrug off the constant shortcomings of the witless masses, there's one thing I can't tolerate." He looks up and let's go of Buu, letting him fly up into the air as the pink blob screams.

Everyone on the ground glances up at Beerus caught up to Buu, grabbing the antenna on top his head before spinning him around once more.

Buu continues to yell and scream as Beerus continues his speech. "And that is the callous arrogance of those who do not pay me the respect a destroyer is due." He finally let's go as Buu flies a couple feet from him before the destroyer blasted him into the ocean.

This is not good. Not good at all…

I can't help but chew on my fingernails, watching everything from afar. After Beerus shot Buu into the ocean, Goten and Trunks thought it was a good idea to fuse and try to take on Beerus for themselves. Which didn't work. After that, Tien, Piccolo, and 18 attacked the Lord themselves which again… Didn't work.

The only person who didn't try to fight Beerus that was a fighter is me. I don't even know if I can fight. It's been so long. I rushed over to Trunks and Goten, making sure the two were alright as did Chi-Chi.

I watched with wide eyes as Bulma walked up to the God, who currently had a ball of light in the palm of his hand, aiming it at Vegeta.

"Bulma, n-no!" I scream as she slapped the feline in the face. The light in his hand disappeared and turned to face her with wide eyes.

"You are ruining my party! I want you off this boat right now," she screams and I went to go grab her when a small hand grabbed mine.

I glance back to see Goten have a hold of my hand, his eyes wide with fear. I gulped slightly, staying in my spot as I watch Vegeta beg Beerus to do whatever he was gonna do to him and not her. I winced as Beerus slapped Bulma across the face, the force of it throwing her back.

My eyes move to Vegeta who was slowly getting off the ground, his gloved hand covering his face. “What have you done? What did you do… to my Bulma?” He screams at the top of his lungs, turning super saiyan. “Mark my words, Beerus. Mark them well. You’re going to suffer for what you’ve done.”

Everyone watches as Vegeta makes an attack on the Lord, barely getting any hits in. Beerus spins him around a bit before the Saiyan Prince lands a hit to the God’s face, sending him about a hundred feet. The battle continued in the sky as I did my best to watch. A bright purple light shone in the sky as Vegeta threw a powerful move on Beerus.

The God struck him once and knocked him out of super saiyan form. Vegeta fell from the sky, landing on his back in front of us as Bulma and Trunks ran over to him. “It’s all over now. We can’t stop him from destroying the earth.”

Beerus hovers over the ship, looking down at all of us. “The time has come. I will reduce this world to rubble.”

Beerus had won the game of rock-paper-scissors with Oolong and now the God and his servant, Whis, are up in the sky as he began to hover a large purple ball of energy above his head. Everyone was huddled up with one another, spending their last moments they can with another as I stood alone. I swallowed thickly, wishing I could’ve gotten to see Goku one last time before I die.

“Stop right there!” A familiar voice yells out just as Beerus was about to send the giant orb of light in our direction. My eyes drift up towards the very top of the boat, seeing a tall man dressed in orange and blue standing on the tippy top of the ship.

“Goku’s here!” Bulma exclaims and my heart pounds in my chest as the figure begins to run down the ship.

“Kakarot,” Vegeta grumbles.

Goku jumps down and lands in front of us, everyone cheering that he’s here. I can feel my hands begin to sweat, glancing over to see Chi-Chi’s annoyed but grateful face. “Yeah! Dad’s here!” Goten yells.

“Yeah, good timing,” Gohan chimes in.

“Hmph. Finally decided to show,” Piccolo states as I kept my eyes on the still very handsome man in front of me. Oh my. He’s hasn’t changed much...

Goku chuckles and looks towards our blue-haired friend. “First off, happy birthday, Bulma,” he tells her.

“There are more important things to do than wish me a happy birthday!” She exclaims angrily.

The Saiyan scratches the back of his head with a large grin on his lips. “I know, it’s not enough. I promise I’ll buy you a present as soon as I get to a mall,” he explains and leans in closer to her, “and by the way, how old are you turning this year anyway?”

Bulma explodes into a fit of rage and Goku stumbles back slightly, a scared look on his face. “My birthday and my age don’t matter right now. Don’t you see that giant blast up there!”

“O-Oh yeah, that!”

“Well, well, look who’s returned,” Beerus calls out, tapping his giant ears. “Did you actually figure out who this “Super Saiyan God” is that I’m supposed to fight?” He asks.

“Sorry, Beerus. Still no idea on that count. In the meantime, could you please not blow up the earth?” Goku asks while pressing his hands together.

I place my hand to my forehead, actually wondering if he thought that was actually gonna work. “I must. I beat the pigman in a game of rock-paper-scissors fair and square,” Beerus exclaims and I can’t help but let out a snort.

“Hold on,” Goku starts, his eyes wide, “did you seriously decide the fate of this planet by playing rock-paper-scissors with Oolong?”

“So what? We already know that you’re not strong enough to stop me from doing what I want.”

“Hm, you’ve got me there. You’re right, Lord Beerus. You’re stronger than me in every way,” Goku mentions while continuously scratching the back of his head, trying to come up with something. “Wait. I have an idea. Before you destroy the earth, let’s take a chance and test something!”

“What do you suggest?” Beerus asks, staring down at the Saiyan.

“Well, like I said, I don’t know who or what a Super Saiyan God is, but there might be a way to bring one here because I know exactly who we should ask! Just give me a little time to put this into action, okay,” he asks, squeezing his fingers together to signify how much time he’d need. I giggle quietly, finding him to be absolutely adorable at this moment and I caught Bulma glancing my way, giving me a knowing look. I stop immediately, feeling my cheeks heat up and look away from her. “Please? Can you do that?” Goku asks in a high pitched voice. Beerus grunts for a few moments before glancing back at Whis. “Super saiyan please?”

“Alright. A tiny bit of time,” the destroyer agrees and the giant purple orb disperses.

“Thank you!” Goku grins, his hands pressed together once again. “You won’t be sorry!”

Vegeta grunts before looking at his rival. “How can you find someone you’re not sure even exists?” He asks.

“I’m asking our old friend Shenron for help!” A few moments of silence went by before Goku faced Bulma. “Sorry birthday girl, but I’m gonna need the Dragon Balls.”

“Wha-,” Bulma starts but get cut off by Goku turning to face the two youngins.

“Hey boys, if I had to guess, I’d say you’ve already searched and found where she’s hiding all the bingo prizes, am I right?” he asks Trunks and Goten.

Goten raises his hand, a smile on his face. “That’s right, dad!”

“Yeah! Mom’s got all seven Dragon Balls in a vault on board. They’re the grand prize this time,” Trunks adds on and I shake my head at how mischievous these two are.

“Young man! They’re supposed to be a surprise!” Bulma scolds her son and he chuckles while raising his hands to the back of his head.

“Goten went and looked at them, too!”

“I’m sorry, Bulma. We couldn’t resist,” Goten apologizes while scratching the back of his head.

“I can’t trust you guys with anything, can I?” Bulma asks, her hands placed on her hips.

As I watched the scene in front of me I can feel a pair of eyes on me, making my gaze move towards Goku. Our eyes connect and I freeze up, clearing my throat slightly before giving a wave. He was about to stroll over towards me when Vegeta began yelling at him.

“Wait, Kakarot! Exactly how long have you been watching us?!” Goku giggles in answer and Vegeta clenches his fists. “Don’t laugh this off!”

“Let’s not worry about that now. We’ve got work to do,” Goku tells him before walking towards me.

I try to calm my heart beat a little bit as he stops right in front of me, our eyes never leaving one another. Tears began to well up in my eyes as I throw my arms around his neck, hugging him tightly.

“I can’t believe you’re standing in front of me,” Goku whispers as his hands are splayed across my back. I couldn’t stop the tears from streaming down my face, sniffling slightly.

“I’m sorry. I-I… Almost dying just sent me into a panic and I thought it’d be better if I wasn’t around anymore. I realized I never thanked you for saving my life,” I cried into his shoulder.

Goku pulls away from me, taking his thumb and wiping the tears off my face. “It’s okay. I get it. I just wish I could’ve found you so I at least visited once in a while,” he mumbles while tucking a strand of hair behind my ear.

“Aye! Love birds! Now’s not the time,” Bulma shouts and the two of us jump away from each other, blushes appearing on both of our cheeks.

“I-We should probably save the world,” I point out and Goku agrees, scratching the back of his head.

“You’re right. We’ll catch up later!”
