my only suggestion so far is that it would be really funny if you upped everyone's base movement speed to 35ft or something like that. because y'know, speedrunners go fast.

also i think you mentioned about being undecided on poundy's class- is there some potential multiclass fuckery in an arcane trickster x bard build? i think the 5e rules on spell slots makes the build a bit weird, but the vibes are there imo.

what's interesting about how i multiclass everyone is that i tend not to multiclass in games myself. if i do its always the basic combos (the two i can remember doing are druid w/ a slight dip into cleric and then sorlock in bg3). i try to make sure nothing like HARD conflicts between the multiclasses for the most part and i think ive done a pretty ok job lol

i def agree with the movement speed. tbh i havent really paid much mind to that which is so silly because they are SPEEDRUNNERS. i am trying to keep myself relatively contained to a realistic/playable build for everyone so it just depends on whether or not i can get a feat or trait or something like that that upgrades movement speed while not tanking other important features of the build

i am in fact, still stuck on the poundy build (but tbh ive been so slammed and busy for the past literally 3 months i havent even really looked at the character sheet in a looonnnggg time). helian made some super cool art of some runners as dnd characters and poundy was one of them, as a paladin iirc which is an idea im not opposed to thats for sure! ig i just didnt wanna seem like i was stealing the idea or step on any toes or anything :). i like the idea of arcane trickster subclass but idk how i feel about rogue for poundy because- and i absolutely mean this in the best way possible- subtlety isnt his strong suit lmaooo. i do think i want to go for bard though, especially after that thrilling espresso parody he sang in the mcsr awards

this def inspired me to get back to making character sheets though like now my brain is buzzing with ideas. i will say ive been making mini models in my spare time bc i love heroforge and also sometimes i see someones super cool mcsr artwork and i need it recreated in a little mini figure (although i dont post those bc obvi theyre not my designs yknow? just somethin i make for fun) ((also tins and oliver coppersunflower pirate art yes this is about you))

so ive seen some shit lately & i just wanna throw in my opinion 1) accusations of antisemitism: so two years ago, he reblogged two humorous posts that mentioned hitler (one was abt powerpuff girls, & one was an out-of-context gif of a hitler speech). now, im jewish, and i personally have rather lax views on antisemitism bc im so used to it at this point. i only really get heated when someone’s legitimately a neo-nazi. but ive personally reblogged the powerpuff post on my old blog, i remember laughing at it (it made fun of his appearance, not his deplorable actions - saying someone has a hitler ‘stache is very very different than oven/gassing jokes). the other post was parodying hitler, not glorifying him or anything. plus it was 2 yrs ago, and i believe both posts have 100k+ notes. tumblr humor. the trend of people digging up problematic shit from years ago needs to stop. 2) homophobia/transphobia: ok, like, first off, he’s not straight himself, and i know lgbt people can still be homophobic and/or transphobic, but this is thomas sanders we’re talking abt. hes famously supportive of just abt everyone. i cant believe THIS is what ppl are accusing him of? all bc he said he supports asexuals & he thinks that we’re lgbt? as an asexual person, i don’t think we’re lgbt, but knowing him, im not surprised thats his viewpoint and i definitely dont think he meant any harm. supporting one group of people doesnt always mean you hate another group, although tumblr tends to have very black-and-white thinking. 3) hes nearly-30 and appealing to a younger audience: i saw this with dan & phil too, and ive even seen it with 25+ y/o tumblr users. i personally dont see why this is an issue. these people grew up on the internet, and it’s like people expect them to quit once they hit 25. like, what are they supposed to do once they hit that age? start going to local soccer games and reading newspapers?? and it’s always 18-22 y/os with this thinking. like?? what are you doin, @confessionsofatwentysomethingfurry625?? why arent u throwing ur laptop and tablet out the nearest window and deleting ur tumblr app right now & going to the local senior center to mingle w ppl ur age, instead of bitching abt ppl 2 yrs older than u bein too old for the internet?? idk i just dont get that. such twisted thinking. i befriended a 42 y/o mom on here once, a couple years back (on my old blog, before anyone tries to dig around this one to disprove me). she was super nice, and always gave me advice, and never was weird or creepy. one of the nicest ppl i ever encountered on here. now, theres a potentional danger with befriending older bloggers, but theres just as much danger w befriending younger ones?? it’s pretty easy for any shitty person to be abusive online, unfortunately, regardless of their age. a 17 y/o friend of mine was emotionally abused by a 14 y/o person they met online. now, onto a broader topic: internet personalities appealing to the age group thats primarily watching them. all the popular youtubers are 22-30, and their watchers are usually teenagers. they cant help that, but it’s a fact, so theyre gonna try to entertain said age group best they can. it’s their job, after all, and they cant just quit it. a lot of them have been on youtube since they were our age, anyway. this is all they know, and for some of them, it’s how theyve survived for nearly a decade. like?? 4) last thing: the pedophilia thing. alright, so im a minor (turning 17 soon), im a fanfic writer (that strays into smut sometimes, admittedly), but i cant draw, and i notice when my fav celebrities have cute asses. if i could draw, i dont think i’d draw ass pics, but i suppose i could see why ppl would. i saw some of the posts - from what i could see, there wasnt any nudity. it was like, clothed asses. butts arent sexual, unless theyre shown in a sexual context. the posts weren’t nsfw, just maybe a little personal & a lil bit creepy. thomas was tryin to be good-natured abt smth sorta awkward that his fans get a kick out of. imo, nothing wrong w that. he made a post that his minor fans shouldnt post nsfw, but he wasnt doing anything pedophilic by reblogging non-nsfw fanart. accusing ppl of pedophilia is a pretty heavy thing, and people on tumblr like to label people horrible things all willy-nilly. i hope that trend dies, but realistically, its probs wont. in conclusion, i personally don’t think anyones a genuinely good person, but i think ppl should stop trying to find flaws in people who are really trying their best to be good in this world of evil. theres so much more to criticize and protest, and everyone’s energy should be put into things like that rather than some internet guy whos trying his best to be positive and non-controversial. get a life, yall

egobusting i just don’t give much thought about happiness in general. i live the present, but as you can probably guess, that’s a finicky concept for us time players. i’m not exactly frantically keeping tabs on my emotions, and what i usually feel is indifference and boredom. i don’t think happiness is an end goal, or a permanent state you reach after enlightenment, i think it’s a fleeting emotion that isn’t supposed to last forever, otherwise it just gets boring. so i don’t really care about the whole concept of happiness. i’m as indifferent about who i am right now as i am about virtually everything else that isn’t getting a good guffawing outta me. i don’t set goals for myself for the same reason. there’s no end for me to reach. i’m eternal, i guess the punchline of being a parody is having most people dislike dealing with me as much as i disliked dealing with my sister as a jonlet. i’d say i’m doing a fucking stellar job at it.

demiurgial Thats one way to look at it, yes. You would be initiating a departure from who you are now for someone else, but they are likely requesting this from you out of concern for you, for your dynamic with happiness.

Nintendo Direct Recap

So for those who can't tell from my twitter (@alisdair42), I've become a bit of a fan of Nintendo recently. so I ended up watching yesterday’s Nintendo direct. since I did a big review of the switch trailer, I tried to do something similar. only problem, that took about an hour to make for a few minutes of trailer footage. this is a full half hour long piece of news, that went so fast, I couldn't press pause during the live coverage. aside from some small typo corrections and edits, this is exactly what I typed. heads up, it's a lot of content...

New Pikmin game for the 3DS coming out on July 28, along with an Amiibo more info on that coming later. another 3DS game called ever oasis on June 23. monster hunter stories look like a monster hunter: pokémon rip off edition 3ds, this autumn. YO-KAI watch 2 was just released, and it has an early day exclusive with A June 2nd to be the expiry date for some in game itemsspr@kl3s as a code Culdcept Revolt on 3ds game, some card/board game  September 1stRPG Maker Fes is now a 3DS is a thing there is a free player for that tooJune 23 Miitomo gets a sequel or DLC, I can't really tell, called miitopia release date is sometime this year.

It's the 25th anniversary of Kirby, which is weird since it seems like we just had 25 years of Mario. I thought that Kirby was a lot younger, oh well. how are they celebrating this? with a 2d fighter game, out now. Kirby blow out blast looks to be a weird 3d puzzle game, and I just can't wait for the comparisons to Toad treasure tracker, even if it's not deserved, it's coming this summer, e-shop only. there also something that there not telling us about for this winter, so I can't really comment on that at all...

For full disclosure, I have a pre-order of Mario Kart 8 from family relatives, but I have not spent money on it. Mario Kart8 has 11 players online, which is weird since its normally 12 players online mode.

If you're playing with friends, then you can customise the rules quite a bit, and tournament mode has now been built into the game, making it seem more like Nintendo want it to become an e-sport. are a thing too

Ultra Street fighter 2 is being re-released for the switch with 19 fighters, but I'm not certain if this is more, less, or the same amount of characters. some weird person also decided that a first person mode that uses motion controls would be a good thing, so that's in the game, along with this, you don't have to remember Combo's at all for the portable mode, with on-screen buttons, (opinion) which is stupid since street fighter is all about executing ridiculous combo's.

 Minecraft wanting more money is now getting a Nintendo switch verson, that allows an 8 player multiplayer mode, which is cute compared to the Java version, but this does also allow local co-op of 4 players, so you have that at least. It's getting a Mario skin pack as DLC, out may 12 e-shop, later for physical.

 sonic forces - a shit 3d one that looks dark and gritty, that has old and new sonic in it, winter this year.

sonic mania -a good fan version that looks awesome, summer this year

project mekuru looks weird, good weird though, has a bomber man feel in its gameplay, releases this summer.

fate Extella for  July 21'st, hate to say it but it kinda looks like a generic JRPG :/

Disgaea 5, has a demo to be released soon, release date may 26th, ill have to give that a look at, since anything that has a demo must be tried, seriousialy, its the one thing that i want devlopers to get back onto.

Puyo Puyo Tetris is amazing, I've played it, you have to try the demo from the JP e-shop if you can, don't go for the UK one, the voice actors just fall flat. it's coming to the EU soon, if you don't have a switch or another console to play it, this is why you need the switch. The demo is out now

monopoly for the switch, because you haven't hated your family over this game enough already Autumn 2017

Rayman legends: definitive edition, it's a 2d platformer, and you could have gotten it previously for free on PC, but this now has more DLC. out sometime this year

THQ Nordic are alive, apparently, i thought they died along with the hope of another good Saints Row. Sine Mora EX, its a 2d bullet hell game so im not touching that (unles it has a demo) to be released sometime this summer. battle chaser night war looks more interesting however, releaseing late summer.

PayDay 2 for switch, because if you've not played it yet, your me and you really should have, releasing sometime this year.

Namco museum: a glorified emulator for the console, probably not worth buying since you could find the rom files online, summer 2017.

This first big block is Arms, if you don't care, skip the first, long, paragraph.

Apparently, you can customise the arms in Arms, as if we didn't already know this, it does, however, reveal that each arm has an element. fire, electricity, wind, ice, stun, explosion, and more I couldn't read quick enough. It also shows that in the game, you can use currency to unlock the different types of arms. this doesn't appear to be real world money, and I don't think that Nintendo would do that, but I still don't like the idea of unlocks in an arcade game. We have a new character called Mminmin, who is based on noodles, no, seriously. if that wasn't weird enough, she has an ability, where she can kick people in a boxing game... quick question, why? why did that seem like a good idea at all? doesn't that kinda defeat the whole point of it being a boxing game? wait, she has dragon arms that shoot lasers? all is forgiven. Spring Man is a new person (i think) who has permanently charge punches IF he has low health. he also has an electric shield for very quick deflects of almost anything. and coming back to Minmin, she has an area based off of her, it's a massive ramen bowl... no comment. we also have team battles for a 2V2 mode, because everybody can afford 4 pairs of Joy-Con's, clearly. speaking of Joy-Con's there's a bundle that contains the console, the game, and a set of yellow Joy-Con's, that look like a set of slightly off bananas. and if you just couldn't get enough Switch action, there releasing a Joy-Con battery pack, which is odd since I personally have never had to worry about the battery for the Joy-Con's at all, I will say that I have been charging them and the console overnight every night, so that may be why I've not been having any problems. The full release date for the game, the bundle, and the Banana-Con's (yes that's what I'm calling them) is June 16.

 And now for the reason im here: splatoon 2, its not as long but still substatial, if you dont care, thats it for this article for you, good bye ^^ otherwise, onto splatoon 2, the main reason I wanted a switch at all.

 we start with a with a weird trailer, that has the music of a discounted Toys R Us instrument set. Feeles like its from the 80's in a parody way. the main purpos of the trailer is to introduce "Salmon Run", a wave based PVE mode, which had me in full caps in my notes, accompined by a ":DDDDD" or 2. the main purpos is to kill the enimies to get power eggs, which is your form of in game currency that can be spent on the splatoon shop for cosmetics. keep on going however, and bosses will appear, these drop golden eggs that too can be exchanged for items. if you have bad players in your team, and they die, then you can revive them by walking over to get them back. The game adds in 3 new Amiibo, that allow people to save custom data to for clothing, but the old splatoon Amiibo's will also work. the game, the Amiibo will be released on July 21st.
