I just want to be the weird guy who lives in the tiny other house in the corner of the property, and does my art and oddly high-paying job, and watches the kids when the parents want alone-time, and keeps the garden up, and helps out with cooking, and is not part of the family, but is still a vital part of the household. The third adult, you know?
