I'm a fan of the idea that siffrin had a younger sibling. he has a soft spot for children in canon, he would've loved a younger sibling to bits.
it would hurt so bad if he ever remembered or found out about it-- as the older sibling, they would've been responsible for their baby sibling! they should've been there to help them out with their homework, and have fun with them, and mess around with them, and... it feels like he got robbed! it feels like he robbed his baby sibling!
and since they left the island as a teen, and they're in their late 20s now-- it's highly probable that this baby sibling would already be an adult as well. they went through all of these huge life milestones and siffrin was there for none of them. he never got to watch them grow up, never got to grow up alongside them... and, even if they ever did get to meet again one day, that sibling probably wouldn't remember him... not because of universe memory stuff like sif, but because he simply wasn't there for his sibling when they needed him. depending on the age gap, they could've left home when their baby sibling was too young to remember them. and that just hurts.

Long awaited
The party makes it to Bambouche. Family reunion time.
It's time.
Your group decided to do the last dozen meters by foot to not attract too much attention.
You all stand back, allow Bonnie to go ahead, give the siblings some degree of privacy. You even try to stay out of sight of other people to not cause any stirring  on a village.
You watch Bonnie run to the front of a house of modest size, and knock. You see a young woman open the door, an anxious look in her eyes.
It's a bit too far to know what's being said, but you watch her expression change in less then ten seconds. You se her eyes widen in disbelief, then realisation, then relief as they fill with tears. You see Bonnie grin ear to ear and open their arms offering a hug, and she doesn't only accept, but picks then up as easily as if they were a baby, but tightly, bending over then like a shielding attempt, even if now they're safer then ever. You don't blame her.
She doesn't let go any time soon, she sits on the steps in front of the house, Bonnie on her lap, both you them with tears treaming down their cheeks, with Bonnie putting more effort on wiping hers than their own. People come to look, but don't step too close. This is their moment.
They're speaking, you can't get what exactly, but you do see Nille check on them in that way caretakers check if anything's hurt, still taking breaks to hug them again.
Then, you see Bonnie let one arm go, and extend to where your group is, and... move their fingers... telling you to join...
You hesitate, and they pout.
"JUST COME!!"
Oh!
It's not as faster or eager a process. It's kind of awkward, to approach such an intimate moment. Nille was a big lady, but still young, maybe younger than Mira. You already had a lot of respect for the lady, but now even more. You can barely grasp being responsable for someone else as is. Just the thought of being it alone, and at your youngers years...
She smiles at all of you, her eyes still full of tears.
"Thank you, for keeping them safe when I couldn't."
Mirabelle gave her a gentle smile, her fingers intertwined.
"We would never forgive ourselves if we didn't."
You know that very well, don't you?
Being thankful is one thing, traveling with her sibling with a group of people she doesn't know is another. That she asked for time with her sibling before making any big decisions is not only very reasonable, but reason to be glad.
It's autumn, not the favorite time for beach activities, even early autmn, but, it's still a beach, and you all will have to wait anyway. There's no reason to not try and enjoy a little bit. It's the reasoning Mira gives. The nervousness in her gaze makes clear what that's really about.
"... Dormont is nowhere near a beach too, so I never learned to surf. Why not when there isn't a lot of people also trying to learn to compare mys- ahn, filling the place?"
You won't comment if she doesn't.
"The House gives surf classes too. I'm not even surprised at his point."
"Oh! You... saw classes in the loops, Siffrin?"
You, haven't talked about that before?
Makes sense, actually. It's not like you could talk while flying, too much wind.
"Well, I can use some time to catch up on books. And you two, anything in mind?"
You can see how Odile looks at Isa just a little bit longer.
You get the feeling that there's some teasing there.
"Of course I do. I just don't want to tell now."
Oof! Blunt! Where did this Isa come from? He sounds cool! And it looks like Odile wasn't expecting that either.
"Of course... How about you, Siffrin?"
"I'll just go with the ride for now."
"Can you come with me for some surfing lessons, then?"
OH!
"Y-yes of course!"
Mira nodded along your response, more serious than you feel like would be due for something so simple.
Did you do something wrong? Did she offer out of politeness? But, would be awkward to pull back now?
You didn't pull back either way.
You think she got nervous before the time came. A talk was pushed back to when she's done with the first lesson. The swimsuit is cute and modest. Fits her.
You enjoy watching her. You do. She has such a determined look on her face.
You watch a larger wave approach, and break, trowing foam all over the people on the shallower areas.
And...
A small, eel-like form emerged from the thick layer of foam, small wings flapping and sending drops in all directions.
Bonbon! You regornizes, even in slightly different shades! Clothes influence the shades?
And then, another form emerges, clawed paws raised. You- You only see the form for a moment, before it wraps around Bonbon and pulls them back into the water, but you can still tell it's Pétronille!
You see her whip to the surface, and throw Bonbon with her tail. They don't try to fly, they hit the water nose first. The movement repeats, then the two stay underwater again. In one, you see Bonbon paddling, trying to get out of Nille's literal claws before going down again, then emerging, flying higher, then by the water again. You watch them boop noses with Nille before all but shoving their tiny body into her arms.
You stand on the sand, and watch. Nille dragging and throwing Bonbon, in a way that reminds you of a lonely dog playing with a toy, but not as rough as one. You know, if they could, they would be laughting.
That first moment was weeping. This one is playful.
And you got to see both.
You'll never forget either.

The Hope of the Mikaelsons family Part Two
Tumblr media
Summary: Y/n and Klaus deepen their bond as they spend the day painting together at Klaus's mansion. Caroline tries to reassure Elena and the others about Klaus's character, emphasizing that he has changed since his daughter's disappearance. Meanwhile, Marcel contacts the others to discuss the surprising news about Caroline's younger sister, Y/n, who shares the same name and age as Hayley’s missing daughter.
"Hey, I'm here, sorry for being late." Carolina sat on a chair next to Elena
"What took you guys so long? " Elena asks but she noticed you were not here "Wait, where's Y/n?"
"She's with Klaus." Carolina smiles
"Klaus Mikaelson is here?" Bonnie asked shocked
"Yes." Caroline nods with a smile
"Why did you leave Y/n with him? He's dangerous. " Elena says worried about your safety
"Come on, you know he changed."
"Do you really believe that he did?" Elena asks
"You know that he changed for his daughter." Caroline answers
"But sadly she got taken away."
"If he didn't change he would be after you Elena." Caroline looks over at Elena
"You're probably right Caroline that he has changed. " Elena smiles
"Believe me he did and I know for sure he wouldn't hurt Y/n. " Caroline smiles, knowing that she can trust Klaus with you
"So where are we going?" You asked Klaus
"To my Mansion I hope your sister doesn't mind." Klaus smiles
"Can we paint?" You asked with your puppy eyes
"Of course love." Klaus grabs your hand
"Rebekah, your family and you need to come to Mystic falls. " Marcel says, though the phone
"Why did something happen?" Rebekah asked worried
"No, but something might happen. I can't tell you over the phone it has to be in person." Marcel answers
"Fine, we'll be there tomorrow." Rebekah ends up
Marcel walks into the living room to find Klaus and you painting, "she loves painting just like you."
Klaus smiled "Yes, she does."
"As much as I love shopping, we have to be done, I need to go get my sister from Klaus." Caroline took out her phone to call Klaus "hey where are you guys?"
"We're at my Mansion painting Why?"
"It's time to go home, see you in three.”
"No, it's fine, I'll bring her home."
"Klaus I don't think it's a good you know how's my mother."
"I know, but Y/n is having so much painting."
"Fine, bring her home before 7."
"I should will."
"So?"
"I guess we can go on and shop again."
"Why did Marcel call you?" Freya asked
"He wants us to go to Mystic falls because he needs to tell us something." Rebekah says
"I can't leave New Orleans, I still need to look for my daughter." Hayley tells Rebekah
"I know Hayley but he wants us to go to Mystic falls." Rebekah tells Hayley
"Is it really that important that he couldn't tell you over the phone?" Kol asked
"Klaus probably did something stupid." Elijah said
"Who knows but we're leaving tomorrow."
Klaus was walking you to your house "love I had so much fun today."
"I did too. could we do it again?"
"Of course."
Your sister opened the door with a smile "thank you so much for bringing her home safely."
"Of course Caroline we had so much fun today."
"I'm glad that you both did."
"Bye love, have a good night. " Klaus gave you a kiss and a hug as Caroline give him a sad smile
"Bye Caroline."
"Bye Klaus."
It's been a long drive for the Mikaelson siblings and Hayley but at least they were in Mystic falls already
"Thank you guys for coming. " Marcel welcome them
"Now tell us what you couldn't tell me over the phone." Rebekah tells Marcel
"Caroline has a small sister." Marcel tells them
"And?" Kol rolls his eyes
"What does that have to do with us?" Rebekah asks
"You made us come here just to tell us that Klaus's girlfriend has a sister." Kol crossed his arm
"Klaus has been hanging out with her so much she loves painting just like Klaus now they're painting buddies." Marcel says
"I'm confused when did Caroline have a sister?" Freya asked
"Probably she was hiding her from the drama and the supernatural that's going on." Hayley answers
Marcel gives Hayley a sad look "Hayley I'm sorry."
"What are you sorry for? " Hayley asked, confused
"For what I'm going to say her name is also Y/n and she's also five years old just like your-"
"Just like my daughter. " Hayley says sadly "I want to meet her so take me with her
"She'll be here in a few minutes."
minutes later They heard a door open
"They're here."
Klaus and you walked into the living room, Klaus was shocked to see his family here
"Hey. " Klaus greets making everyone to turned around to face Klaus and you they gave you a shock stare
"Meet Y/n forbes." Klaus smiles
"Hey little one. " Everyone smiles at you
"Hey Klaus, can I talk to you? " Hayley asks
"Can it wait?" Klaus says
"No."
"Fine Y/n stay here I'll be back."
"Why didn't you tell me about Y/n?" Hayley asks hurt
"Because I didn't wanted you to think that she's our daughter." Klaus tells Hayley sad
"I know, but I deserve to know about her. I wanted to go back to New Orleans, but I'm going to stay just in case."
"I don't know if Marcel told you but she loves painting. She's a professional at painting." Klaus smile
"Yeah, he told us." Hayley laughs, "I didn't know that Caroline has a sister."
"I didn't know either, but Caroline told me Y/n was living with some family In New York because Caroline and their mother wanted her away from the drama and to keep her safe."
"Interesting."
"I know right but anyways let's go back to the living room."
Klaus and Hayley went back to the living room to see that you started already painting
Hayley looks at you "She's a good painter."
Klaus nodded "you should see her drawings as well, she's making beautiful drawings."
"Klaus come here and paint with me." You said
"I'll be right there in a second." Klaus tells you
Hayley went to sit on the couch with Freya and Rebekah as kol and Marcel were watching Klaus and you paint
"Are you ok Hayley?" Freya asks, worry
"I don't know if I'm?" Hayley answers
"What's wrong?" Rebekah asked
"I don't know, but I feel a connection with Y/n she's just like Klaus, they both love painting." Hayley says
"I feel it too. There's something about her and we're going to figure it out."
"Ok painters come here and take a break Elijah baked cookies for us to enjoy." Freya said, smiling at you
"Yay cookies I love cookies." You jump up and down happily
"Here's your milk sweetie." Hayley handed you your glass of milk
"Thank you, could we watch a Disney movie?"
"Of course love what movie do you want to watch?"
"I want to watch Encanto."
You lay between Klaus and Hayley as the Mikaelsons and Marcel smiled at the image of the three of you that they decided to take a picture to have it as a memory
By the time the movie ended you fell as sleep with both Klaus and Hayley holding you as they slept as well, everyone were sleeping not waking up as Klaus phone kept ringing
"There's bad news Sheriff Forbes."
"What is it?"
"The Mikaelsons are back in town."

You know what, 💞💖💗
💗
● Susie's parents were Patricia and Hayden Wright. Patricia was a seamstress and Hayden was an author.
● Fritz's parents were Sean and Julianne O'Connor. Sean was a mechanic and Julianne was a real estate agent.
● Jeremy's parents were Lauren and Edward Andrews. Lauren was a successful businesswoman and Edward was an influential member of the city council.
● Gabriel's parents were Hector and Amanda Ramirez. Hector worked some boring desk job and Amanda was a professor at Dixie State University in St. George.
● Cassidy's parents were Amelia and Carl James. Amelia was a nurse and Carl was a performer at the 1983 Fredbear’s, he played Spring Bonnie, but he lost his life to a springlock failure.
💖
● Susie had a 13-year-old sister named Samantha. She was very mature for her age, and had a bit of a thing for Fritz, not that he reciprocated, but she was fine with that.
● Fritz had an 8-year-old sister named Grace. Grace was the reason the kids really knew each other, as she was friends with Cassidy, Gabriel, Jeremy, and Susie. She adored her big brother, but the death of him and her friends messed her up bad.
● Jeremy was an only child.
● Gabriel was the middle child of five siblings, his younger ones being Jackson and Hannah, 5 and 7 respectively, and his older ones being Agustin and Felicia, 21 and 18 respectively.
● Cassidy was also an only child.
💞
● Susie had a very good family life, her father was a fairly successful author, so they were fairly wealthy. Everyone in her family loved her, but she was especially close with Samantha. Her mother sparked her interest in cooking, and she loved hearing what her dad was writing from time to time. She also loved playing with the family dog, Lucky.
● Fritz's parents were a bit overprotective, they never really gave him any privacy or breathing room. Not maliciously of course, they just didn't really understand how autism worked and just wanted him to be safe. The privacy offered by William was a key factor in him being lured. That being said, he was very close with Grace, she loved how smart and cool her big brother was, and Fritz was happy she didn't treat him any differently because of how his brain worked. Her experiences will be written about in the future, since she was seriously fucked up by what happened.
● Jeremy's parents were the opposite of Fritz's, they were never really there for him, so he constantly tried to act out to get their attention. They went as far as to dump Jeremy off at Freddy's while they went on vacation to Aruba since they couldn't find anyone to look after him.
● Gabriel's parents were very overworked, and since his older siblings had already moved out, he had to grow up quickly to take care of his younger siblings. Unlike Jeremy's parents, Gabriel's parents do love him, it's just that their jobs make it hard to spend time together.
● Cassidy's parents adored her, it had taken years for them to have a child, so they spent a lot of time with her. She loved them too, and constantly asked about what they were doing when they were working on something. She was absolutely devastated by her father’s death, and usually kept whatever he had given her very close.

Ignored - Shelby Sister
a/n : This is set in 1925. John isn't dead! Reader is seventeen.
Tumblr media
A month - a fucking month. That was how long you had been ignored for, from your brothers, and frankly, it had worn thin at least a couple of days ago at this point. You were the youngest Shelby, and that usually allowed you to get away with a lot of things, in your brothers eyes - you were the baby, and usually, you could do no wrong. Not this time, however.
You were stood silently and anxiously, outside of the door of the kitchen. Your hands twisted and pulled at the fabric of the shawl draped around your shoulders, teeth catching at your bottom lip as you chewed it. Through the door, you could hear the vivacious sounds of a Shelby dinner, chattering and arguing and laughing. It had been so long since all of your family were together in one room, that it almost felt foreign, to you. Only this time, you weren't sat with them, merely hiding outside like a kicked puppy.
It wasn't that you weren't invited. Your aunt - who most certainly realised that something was up with you - had shouted you from your room a few moments ago, but you knew that the minute that you walked into the room, that it would go silent.
They were furious at you, and you knew that they had right to be. The cause of the tension between your siblings and yourself was because they had found out that you had taken some money from the vault at the betting shop - well, John had caught you red handed. There really was no explanation for the amount of money you had stolen. You could hardly bat your eyes and say it was for sweets, like you had when you were younger. And, you could hardly tell him the truth, even though he was one of your closest siblings.
The real reason would surely make them angrier than they already were. Truly, you were unsure how none of them had figured it out yet, figured out that their darling little sister was pregnant. You were lucky, in some ways, that you lived with Tommy, who wouldn't recognise the symptoms of pregnancy unless you quite literally vomited at his feet. Besides, in the cold and vast mansion the two of you, and Charlie, lived in, it was easy to hide away.
Your fingers grazed over your swollen stomach, as you pulled the shawl tighter around yourself, perfectly obscuring it. If you were careful, not even Polly would even be able to tell.
You thought about the money, the thick wad of notes that had been clutched in your fingers only a week ago, how desperate you had been to have it, which had been promptly ripped away from you and locked away. Now, in only a month, things were vastly different. The wedding band, strung on a chain around your neck, was warm and comforting, especially knowing it was from Bonnie.
You had been a mess, when you told him, having driven straight from the betting shop to the camp, eyes red and swollen with tears, mewling that you were so sorry. He had reacted completely differently to how you would have thought, your boyfriend of a year. He had smiled, pads of thumbs wiping away your tears, pressing chaste and loving kisses to every space of skin he could reach. With his acceptance and joy, came your love for the tiny little being growing inside of you.
You let out a sigh, cursing the architecture of Tommy’s house - that you had to walk through the dining room in order to get to the front door. You were convinced it was like that to punish you. Your hand twisted the cool metal of the door, eager to escape the room as quickly as possible, as your eyes flitted over the group gathered, then back to your shaking hands. Of course, the only person who would have been your ally - Ada - hadn't come.
You hated that you couldn't meet their eyes, as you tilted up your chin, a defiant scowl on your face, as you walked through the room.
“Sit down, Y/N.” Tommy’s cold voice ran in your ears. You turned your gaze to him.
“I’m going out, Thomas.” You sniped.
“No, you aren’t. Sit down.”
Usually, Tommy’s angry tone would be enough for you to listen to him, but the thought of Bonnie’s warm embrace and murmured words far outweighed the prospect of sitting in silence eating far too posh food for the next few hours. That, and explaining why you suddenly didn't want to drink the red wine you usually had.
“I’m going out.” You said with finality, almost at the door to get out of this awkward atmosphere.
The reaching of your hand towards the doorknob, and everything shifted. Your shawl slipped off your shoulders, and as you ducked to the floor to quickly retrieve it, cheeks scarlet with shame, you locked eyes with Polly. And you knew that she knew.
You were like a deer in headlights. Oh god. You couldn't tell them. You couldn't look into the eyes of the men who had raised you, and tell them what a disappointment you were.
“Need any money?” John’s voice was smooth and sarcastic.
“I’m fine, thanks.” You returned coldly.
“Course, you prefer to steal it, don’t ya?”
“John.” Esme’s voice was a warning.
“Fuck off.” You spat at him. “In fact, fuck all of you! Maybe, just maybe, if you had bothered asking why I needed the money instead of shutting me out like a fucking child, then I would have explained!”
You sniffed fiercely, cursing the hormones in your body, rubbing at your teary eyes.
“Why did you need, then? Come on, Y/N, do enlighten all of us.” Tommy’s voice was hard.
Finn was staring determinedly at his green beans as if wishing he was anywhere but here.
The whites of your knuckles shined through your thin skin, as you clenched them.
“None of you fucking business.” You spat, pulling open the door with such force that it slammed into the adjacent wall.
“Yeah, you run Y/N, like the fuckin’ coward you are.” John growled.
Your jaw set at his words, as you span around, fire blazing in your eyes.
“You really want to know, John boy?” You were breathing heavily in anger and regret. “Your darling little sister wanted an abortion, but I couldn't ask for the money because all you lot would do is fucking blind the man!”
You immediately regretted your words, as the whole room erupted, apart from Polly who merely sipped at her wine as if she had been expecting your words all along.
“You wanted a what?” Arthur bellowed, the glass in his hand shattering.
“I’m going to kill that fucker that-”
“Was it fucking Bonnie? I’ll kill that-”
“Shut up all of you!” Esme bellowed from across the room, throwing up her arms in the air. “Just listen to the kid!”
There was a rather uneasy silence. You weren't entirely sure who to look at, so you settled for gazing at the carpet.
“I was scared. I’m sorry for taking the money - trying to.” You mumbled.
There was a very long pause.
“So, how did you-” Tommy’s voice was less cold now, which made you feel a slight bit better.
“I, um, didn't need the money, in the end.” You said quietly.
“You didn’t go to one of those backstreet places, did you?” Esme looked worriedly at you.
“No.” You looked at them, fingers reaching for the swell of your stomach, for comfort. “I - I told Bonnie. He did the right thing. We ,er, got married.”
You sighed as the voices in the room uproared again.
