sorry that reminds me. mark and william parallels. never fully believed in the system they were under but never did anything about it until they experienced a highly traumatic event that flipped their world and worldview on its head, losing all faith in the system they were under and falls more and more away with every loss they experience. vs dakota and tide who have always had faith and gains even more every time they lose something. there's a full analysis post in here somewhere but words are escaping me
