I love writing a Sole Survivor who was a rural farm kid before moving to Sanctuary with their spouse. Yes they're mechanically inclined, yes they know how to shoot and harvest an entire radstag properly, yes they know how to build a campfire and a shelter for the night, yes they are very knowledgeable about crops and well-digging. Miss Lawyer and Mister Soldierboy are both catching cholera their first DAY out of the vault but this Farm kid is GOING to find and destroy the Institute no problem
