mc!reader with a blood manipulation evol who went through the worst of the lab experiments and treatments that only enhanced her power inadvertently with how much she was being tortured. so much of her childhood memories are muddled fragments of scientists being brutally mutilated—nothing but red red red clouding her vision. it definitely wasn't normal for a child's evol to be this lethal, paired with the aether core they willingly placed in her heart. thus, it seems destined by fate that sylus possesses a very evol that allows him to be unaffected, that gives him the path to help ease mc!reader and protect her from others and herself.

when they reunite again, sylus knows her memories of being in the lab are barely present, and once more she has allowed her evol to remain dormant out of fear. but he remembers it all, and he's more than willing to help guide her through self-control again when the bloodthirst is reignited.
