SECRET SANTA ATTACK!! A beetle Loop for my gift victim @petrii-dish >:3c
I saw "insects" and "Loop" on their wishlist and neurons started firing. I'm always saying that I love when people creature-fy characters I like, but I've never done the creature-ing myself until now!
While going through Pep's blog for inspiration, I saw art of a woolly chafer beetle drawn by @/bowelfly. I'd never seen them before, and let me tell you they're the cutest bug I've ever seen and I was obsessed with them immediately. So round... so woolly...
As I was going down the woolly chafer appreciation rabbit hole, I started noticing traits I could incorporate into Loop's design. And thus; beetle Loop! :] (Although their antennae are more common cockchafer inspired. Their big antenna fans are so fancy!)
Lots of rambling and bonus art of a much more beetle-looking Loop under the cut, so be warned if you're squicked by bugs
The creatuuuure. Boop here was my first time trying to draw organic shapes with vanishing point guides and such. It went... okay...? No clue how people apply that to more complicated shapes like people though, heh.
Anyways, back to the humanoid Boops. The design elements I focused on were the antenna leaves looking like those shards of light you can see in the opening CG and some of Loop's portraits, the fluff and tibia spikes substituting for Loop's skin frizzles, wings with veins made up of constellations, and that very peculiar angular elytra shape. ;)
I had to stop myself from going ham and making the design super detailed, because I wanted it to look like something you could reasonably imagine in-game. I think I did alright in that regard! Their suspicious elytra ended up feeling fitting too, since only seeing them from the front in-game would make that foreshadowing more subtle. Also, while my decision to make them a beetle was 100% just "I really love that beetle I saw", I like the implication that the Universe was like, "Stars, you have a thick shell. Become a beetle." 😂
I struggled for a bit trying to place clock hands in the first drawing, but then I started to think that a handless clock is kinda fitting? Love when I can cover laziness with symbolism. :P
Time taken on designing and the first two drawings was 31 hours and 34 minutes (I forgot to tally them separately whoops), and beetle Boop took 8 hours and 44 minutes. It was supposed to be a doodle (because common cockchafers are sometimes called "doodlebugs" get it-) but I'm SO bad at doodling. Got lost in the perspective ruler sauce.
Check out @isat-secretsanta-2024 for more cool art, and have a happy holiday! ♥

Hnnghh christmas Lighter smut where reader is dressed in nothing but a long ribbon and bow bc he’s been a good boy this year
🍓Did u read my mind? Get outta there… jkjk, but seriously this is EXACLTY what I was thinking about. I really can’t dedicate the time to a full fic, which breaks my little gay heart, but imagine with me if you would… (this is a full fic btw i fucking lied to you and myself)
Tw: Nsfw; kinda rough (not too rough); UNEDITED ITS HORRENDOUS
Mdni
Christmas with the Sons of Calydon is pretty atypical. They have their own traditions that most New Eirduians would scoff at, but they’re rather important to those who live in these parts. Drinking, singing together (usually drunkenly and offkey), taking bike rides out to start a fire and literally burn away past regrets of the year, and of course fights — plenty of fights.
You weren’t exactly a fan of the fighting part, usually meant more work for you to do, but Lighter always seemed to have fun. Obviously he did, he never lost — he hardly broke a sweat for the most part. And he loved showing off, especially if you were there to watch him. Everything else was mostly normal, though… a little odd but custom made to your little ragtag group, and you loved it.
It felt warm, cozy, like family. They passed out gifts, most of them hand made or incredibly thoughtful since money was scarce for most of you. Lighter had gotten you a (rather expensive) bracelet with your and his initials engraved on it. It was sweet, and unexpected from the guy who pretended like the holiday was nothing for the months leading up to it.
It made you melt on the inside and feel nice and warm. However… his nonchalance about the holiday cause you one… teeny tiny, itty bitty problem. You had no clue what to get him, and you hadn’t gotten him anything — time had run out and no one would give you any good hints.
His insistence that you didn’t need to get him anything in return made your stomach ache. It was hard to focus on his fight when your head was rushing with ways to rectify the horrific mistake you’d made quickly. The red ribbon of the jewelry box wrapped around your fingers tightly, then unwound as you mulled over your options.
You could get him something for his bike, but you’d have to drive to the city and it’s unlikely he’d let you go without him — that’s if the stores were even open this late on a holiday. Maybe you could craft up something quick and easy, if you could get back to your place there surely would be something, but… that felt cheap. Especially compared to the bracelet.
“That ribbon’s pretty,” Caesar says next to you, drawing you from your thoughts, “Must’ve been one real fancy place he went to for ya.”
You sigh, leaning back against the wall a little, looking at the ribbon as you twisted it around, “I’m sure it was. He’s so hopeless sometimes.”
“Only because you’re so sweet on him,” She teases, nudging your shoulder lightly.
A laugh huffs out of your chest, then an idea strikes you. The ribbon is pretty. You actually had some like it back at your place, stored away from last years festivities. You twist the ribbon one last time, and then you grin, wide and wild. Lighter catches your eye as he socks his opponent in the jaw, smirking at you like he’d won a prize.
“Hey, Caesar,” You hum, turning to your friend who seemed a little uneasy at your expression, “How long do you think you can keep him distracted for me.”
She hums, watching him thoughtfully, “I’ll buy ya fifteen minutes — wait, why?”
“You’ll hear later~” You hum with a wink, and practically skip back to your place, leaving Caesar alone to deal with your very adrenaline filled boyfriend on her own.
It takes you half the time Caesar said she could get you to find the damn ribbon, and the other half is spent fighting for your life to get the thing on and look at least a little sexy. You tried to recall old articles you’d read on bondage and shibari, but it was hard to do without a guide. You’d managed to get all the good bits wrapped up and hidden, with a few extra crosses to make it look pretty.
You don’t get a chance to check because you hear Lighters heavy footsteps outside the door nearly as soon as you’ve tied the bow comfortably around your neck. Your able to sort’ve arrange yourself seductively on the bed for him just as the front door open and he calls out to you. You could tell he was annoyed from his voice alone. He never liked it when you left his shows early.
“Caesar told me you headed back here,” He called, boots thumping as he threw them off, “We’re you not enjoying the show?”
It’s a tease, you know it is, but there was an underlying annoyance in his voice that sent a tingle up your spine. He pushes the bedroom door open incredibly slowly, to the point you think he’s trying to surprise you with something. You have the gall to feel stupid for a moment right before his eyes land on you, and he stops at he takes in the sight.
There is an audible shudder as his eyebrows raise nearly to his hairline. He takes his sunglasses off, revealing those pretty green eyes that rake in every inch of you with hunger. Then, he smirks, shoving the bedroom door closed with his shoulder already working his gloves and jacket off to the floor. Forgotten without a second thought. The rest of his clothes follow quickly after.
“Merry Christmas!” You cheer, though you’re more nervous than happy. He clearly likes it, according to the quickly growing tent in his pants and how fast he is to strip himself, but he’s a little too quiet for your liking.
He sinks onto the mattress in front of you, hands ghosting around the bright red ribbon. Like if he touches it, it’ll all fall apart in his grasp. He traces each inch of it with careful practiced restraint, following the fabrics flow across your body until he remembers that you are under the fabric and he lands on your face.
His eyes soften when you smile nervously up at him, fingers tracing the apple of your cheek with such admiration it nearly makes you cry. “You like it?” You ask softly, unsure of yourself.
He scoffs like you’re stupid for wondering, “This might be the best thing that’s ever happened to me.”
It draws a genuine laugh out of you, which he follows with his own as he comes down to nuzzle your cheek with his nose. Then a soft kiss that trails down to your lips, easing you into a slow careful dance of love and passion.
He readjusts your position so carefully, you almost don’t notice he’s doing it until he’s between your legs. Pressing them open then pressing his dick to the ribbons wrapping up your folds from him. You’re already dripping, the adrenaline from earlier enough to get you going, but the added friction just makes it worse. You’d never be able to reuse this stuff, that’s for sure.
His hands glide over your stomach, following the ribbon with lazy easy until he’s found the one covering you from him. His thumbs slide under the pieces, rubbing over the flesh of your abdomen gently. It’s then that he pulls away, a string of saliva keeping you connected as he presses his forehead to yours.
“You’re so perfect, you know that?” He murmurs quietly, “You could’ve given me a smile and I would’ve been happy.”
You shy away, “Well… I almost didn’t have anything to get you, but your gift, mmm, inspired me.”
He chuckles at you, reaching down to run his dick against your still covered folds. The silky fabric oddly making everything feel more intense. “I can see that. Very cute, by the way.”
“I know, thank you,” You hum, wrapping your arms around his shoulders as he presses the two of you back into a laying position, “Now are you gonna unwrap your present, or are you gonna keep teasing yourself.”
A roll of the eyes and another smirk, “Y’know, I’ve never been a fan of ruining the wrapping paper. Shits expensive… so how about we go nice and slow.”
As he says that, he slides his dick between the ribbon, right up against your throbbing clit. You let out a surprised sound, quickly melting into sighs of pleasure and he fucks into the ribbon. Each push and pull stimulates your aching pussy into gushing out more for him, clenching on nothing as he fucks himself against you at a leisurely pace.
You take the chance to look down, moaning out as he head of him touches your thigh. The sight is something you’d see in a porno. Lighter follows your eyes, smiling to himself when he catches you practically going cross eyed at the sight.
“We look good together, don’t we, sugar?” He purrs. A rare nickname, sweet and extra praiseworthy — just like he thinks you are.
You nod along with him, fluttering your eyes back to his with a dumb little smile. Each drag of his dick makes your toes curl and nails dig into his broad shoulders. He sighs at the sensation, pressing kisses into your skin to quiet himself up. He’d rather listen to you, after all, and this was a gift for him.
His fingers begin to crawl up your body, dancing along the ribbon excitedly. They make sure to stop and tweak your nipples through the fabric, humming when he feels they’re sufficiently hard and sensitive under his touch. Then, finally, they reach the neatly tied bow around your neck.
The tug at it, gently unwrapping it from your neck and pulling it away with ease. Replacing the red of it with his tongue, licking and sucking new marks into the flesh. Your hips stutter against his, and he lets out a groan, squeezing your tit as warning. You whine, but don’t fight him anymore. His hands returning to unraveling the ribbon, pressing into the skin revealed until he is the only thing keeping the ribbon and his dick pressed against you.
You pout a little when he pulls away, pussy aching for friction once his dick is gone. You feel it clench as it looks for him, and god it makes you feel like a whore. He takes your hands from his shoulder and leans over you to tie them to the bed board above your head. You can feel how wet your were at the wrists, especially when he kisses them reassuringly.
“I love you tied up,” He hums, “You’re so pretty when you can’t do anything.”
You pout up at him, but he doesn’t stay to admire the look long, leaning over to the bedside table to grab the condoms. It occurs to you, in a state of lust driven stupor, that he shouldn’t have to fuck his christmas gift with a condom on.
“Ah, wait—“ He raises an eyebrow at you, hand just inches away from the condoms, “Would you wanna do it raw?”
He blinks at you, again surprised in the same way he was when he first saw you. “Are you serious?”
“We don’t have to—“ You quickly try to rectify the situation, but he cuts you off.
“No, no, we definitely have to,” He shakes his head, closing the drawer with one swift motion, “You’re trying to kill me out here, aren’t you?”
You shake your head, but he’s not listening as he pulls you up into the position he likes most. Legs over his shoulders, body bent in half so he can fuck you hard and fast. He gives you a few seconds to adjust to the position, then he’s pressing his dick into you at a painfully slow pace.
It’s because he’s just so big, he always has to go slow, but you wish he’d just fuck you through the pain right now. The stretch is perfect as always, and you suck him in like it’s nothing with how wet you already were.
He cusses when he finally bottoms out, pressing his face into the side of your neck. You can feel his hot breath fan against your skin, tingling deliciously. “Fuck you’re always so tight. I’m never gonna get used to it, sugar.”
You hum, though you’re in no better shape. Shivering and shuddering every inch, and still quaking as he sits still inside you. You play with his hair to distract from how hot you are, and how you wish he’d make you hotter.
He gives himself a moment to calm down, then he presses a kiss you your cheek, readjusts you just a little so your muscles don’t tense up, and then he moves. The first three thrusts are slow and easy, then he starts to slam into you hard.
“Oh fuck—“ You cry out as the deafening smack of his hips into your ass rings out across the room.
The pace he sets is brutal and unrelenting, you were hoping for it all night. The unspent adrenaline from his earlier fights coming right back to fuck you so good you know you won’t be walking tomorrow. Each slap of his balls against your quickly reddening ass is accompanied by a stifled moan.
He watches you with an intensity you weren’t aware he was capable of, eyes drinking in every single inch of your expression. He looked crazed, but that’s what made it so hot. He was obsessed with every little look, every little sound that left you.
“Don’t be quiet, sugar,” He hums, pushing two of his fingers along your bottom row of teeth to force the sounds out.
“They’ll hear—“
“Let ‘em,” He dismisses, “They know you’re mine anyway, who cares.”
You really couldn’t argue with that, especially not when he shifts ever so slight to hit your g-spot head on. A salacious moan rips out of your throat, and your sure Caesar has figured out what you were up to earlier from that alone. He doesn’t stop ripping sounds out of you, though, continuing his brutal pace and hitting that spot so well you think you’re seeing stars.
The build up to your orgasm is so quick you hardly have time to realize it’s happening. One second you’re fine the next your throwing your head back and moaning like a whore.
“Lighter- Baby, I’m— fuck me- god I’m gonna cum, Lighter.” You admit, way too loud for your liking.
He hums, seeming to switch gears and fuck you faster somehow, “Go ahead, I’ve got you. Lemme feel you cum for me.”
You nod, chest rising and falling rapidly as start litter your vision. You think you nearly pass out, but Lighters hard thrusts fuck you through your orgasm. You squeeze him so tight, like you’re trying to milk his own out of him. You want him to fill you up, want to feel his warm cum deep in your belly. Want to see it drip down your thighs and pool onto the bed when he pulls out.
“Cum inside, please.” You beg.
“Fuuuck… ‘re you—“
You nod, “I need it, please cum in me. ‘S part of your present.”
He groans, fisting the sheets next to your head, “Suagr, you’re fuckin’ killin’ me.”
Always one to please, Lighter does exactly as you ask. Filling you to the brim with his thick hot cum. You revel in his moans, and only slightly wish you could curl your nails into his shoulders to leave another christmas gift for the morning.
He eases you into a more comfortable position before collapsing on top of you. His weight is welcome against your spent body, as are the wet kisses he presses into your sore skin. He unties your hand with one of his, and you quickly wrap them up into his hair.
“I love you,” He mumbles into your shoulder, “So much. You’re the best gift a guy can ask for.”
You giggle at the praise, “I love you too, Lighter.”

I kinda need Hotch accidentally hurting shy!Readers feelings…I need angst with a happy ending!
What's Left Unsaid [Aaron Hotchner x Shy!Fem!Reader]
Masterlist || Ao3||Word Count: 1k|| AN: Love to write some shy!reader/hotch dynamics! Also playing out with the gifs and graphics I make for fics a little bit more. Thanks for the request!
Tags/Warnings: no use of y/n, alcohol mention, team outing, bar setting, fear of commitment (stemming from both sides), happy ending but left a little open to interpretation, shy reader, mentions of Beth, mentions of the breakup with Beth, mentions of Jack, Dad!First!Mentality!Hotch, Friends with Benefits, Secret Relationship, Hotch's POV
Summary: When Hotch reveals to the team the reason he doesn't want a relationship, it hurts your feelings because the two of you have been secretly seeing each other, and you're wondering if it is going anywhere.
Hotch sipped his beer, trying to appear relaxed as he leaned back in the booth. The chatter of the team mingled with the ambient noise of the bar, but his attention was subtly tuned to you, sitting just a bit too far away for his liking. In his peripheral vision, he watched you laugh softly at something Rossi said. The sound was like music, and it made him smile, albeit briefly.
You and Hotch had been seeing each other secretly for a few months now. It started casually, two colleagues seeking comfort in each other after long, taxing cases. But slowly, the physical connection had deepened into late-night talks, shared dinners, and quiet evenings watching movies on the couch after Jack had gone to bed. Neither of you had put a label on whatever this was blossoming into, both hesitant to complicate things further. Hotch, especially, feared the implications of wanting more.
The first time it happened, it was almost by accident. You and Hotch had been the last to leave the BAU after a grueling case that had stretched over several weeks. The weight of the ordeal was palpable, lingering in the air like a thick fog. Hotch had offered to walk you to your car, a gesture of simple politeness, but when you reached the parking lot, neither of you seemed ready to part ways just yet.
"Want to grab a late dinner?" Hotch had suggested, his voice low and a bit hesitant. You were surprised; Hotch was always reserved, focused on the job, rarely stepping beyond the professional boundaries he so rigidly set for himself. But that night, something in his eyes—a shared tiredness, a mutual need for decompression—made you nod in agreement.
That dinner marked the beginning of what would become your secret connection. It wasn't planned or discussed; it just naturally evolved as you both found comfort in each other’s presence outside the high-stakes environment of the FBI. The diner meals became a routine, a way to unwind, and slowly, those meetings shifted to more personal settings. Hotch invited you over to watch a movie one evening when Jack was away at a sleepover. You brought over a classic film and takeout and found comfort in the quiet companionship that filled his living room.
You were naturally shy, a trait that often made you a listener rather than a speaker in the noisy dynamics of the team. Hotch noticed this early on. He learned quickly that you communicated more in silence than most did in conversation. He appreciated the quiet moments with you, how you seemed to understand the weight of words left unspoken. But he also knew he sometimes had to coax thoughts out of you, especially when he sensed something was troubling you.
One such evening, as the credits rolled on the screen, he turned to find you lost in thought, a distant look in your eyes. "What’s on your mind?" he asked gently, careful not to startle you out of your contemplation.
You hesitated, then smiled faintly. "Just... thinking about the case," you replied, your voice barely above a whisper. But he knew there was more—you often carried the emotional burdens of your work longer and deeper than most.
"It’s more than just the case, isn’t it?" Hotch prodded softly, giving you the space to open up at your own pace. Over time, he had become adept at navigating your shyness, offering you security in his steadiness.
You looked at him, the trust in his gaze encouraging you to share your fears. "Sometimes, I wonder if we ever really make a difference," you confessed, your voice tinged with the fatigue of the many losses you had witnessed.
Hotch listened, nodding, never pushing too hard, always patient. He shared his own doubts and hopes, a rare glimpse into his inner world that made you feel even closer to him.
These moments deepened your connection, transforming it from a simple comfort into something more profound. Yet neither of you dared to define it. Hotch, especially, was cautious, weighed down by the responsibility of being a father to Jack. His previous relationship with Beth had ended amicably but not without its scars—particularly for Jack, who had grown attached and then had to cope with the loss when she moved away.
So, Hotch held back, fearful of repeating the past, even as his feelings for you grew. And you, understanding his concerns, reciprocated the silence on the nature of your relationship. But as the months passed, the unspoken bond between you became a silent promise of support and companionship, even if neither of you yet had the courage to give it a name.
His phone buzzed in his pocket, a reminder of an unread message from earlier in the day—something mundane about Jack's soccer practice. He glanced at you again, taking in your shy smile, the way you tucked your hair behind your ear. He wanted more, so much more, but the fear of another loss for Jack held him back. It wasn't just about him or even about you; it was about Jack, too.
The conversation shifted, and suddenly the focus was on him. "Hotch," Prentiss started, her tone light but curious, "you ever think about dating again? It's been a while since Beth..."
The question hung in the air, heavier than the smoke swirling above them. The team's eyes were on him, but his flicked to you. He saw the slight stiffening of your shoulders, the curious tilt of your head as you waited for his answer.
He hesitated, his mind racing. "I... I can't imagine putting Jack through that again," he finally said, his voice more gruff than intended. "Getting attached to someone, and then... if it doesn't work out..." He trailed off, regretting the words as soon as they left his mouth.
The team nodded, understanding his protective nature over his young son, but you didn't. He saw the hurt flash across your face before you masked it with a small, polite smile. You excused yourself to the restroom, and Rossi gave him a knowing look, one that said he might have just made a mistake.
Hotch's heart sank. He wanted to go after you, to explain, but he was anchored to his seat by his own fears and the eyes of his team. He drank more deeply from his beer, trying to wash down the guilt.
When you returned, the barrier between you was palpable. You kept your answers short, your smiles forced, and though the team didn’t seem to notice, Hotch felt every inch of the growing distance.
The night ended with the team going their separate ways, and Hotch found himself walking you to your car. The air was chilly, making him wish he could reach out and pull you into his warmth. "About earlier," he started, his voice rough with emotion. "I didn't mean—"
"It's okay, Hotch," you cut him off, though your voice was softer than usual. "I understand. Jack should be your priority. I wouldn't ever want to come between that."
"But you wouldn't," Hotch found himself saying, the words rushing out in a torrent. "It’s not just about protecting Jack. It's... I’m scared of asking for more and then losing it. But what I said it wasn't fair to you. I do want more with you if you want that too."
You looked up at him, surprise evident in your expression. "Really?" There was a cautious hope in your voice, one that made his heart twist.
"Yes, really," he affirmed, stepping closer. The space between you felt charged, his fear momentarily eclipsed by the need to make things right.
You nodded slowly, considering his words. "I need to think about it, Aaron. I... I want more too, but I don’t know how to... not with how things are right now."
Hotch nodded, understanding. "Take all the time you need. I’ll be here," he promised.
As you got into your car, Hotch felt the weight of your words and his own fears. He watched as you drove away, the taillights a red blur in the night. Maybe it was time to confront his fears, not just for his own sake, but for Jack's, and perhaps, for whatever chance he had with you.

Home Charm
James Potter x reader
Summary: James Potter, the devoted and loving father, transforms every moment into magic and love with his enchanted family.
Warnings: none
A/N: anon, hope you like it <333
Masterlist
• James loves making you laugh and uses every opportunity to tease you in a cute way. He might steal a kiss in the middle of an argument or tickle you until you beg for mercy. Life with him is always light and fun.
• He deeply values your partnership. For any important decision, he always checks with you first, making it clear that your opinion is the most important to him.
• James never misses a chance to steal a kiss. Whether you’re in the middle of a sentence, distracted with a book, or even complaining about something, he simply can’t resist. “You had that irresistible look, love, I had to do it,” he says with a mischievous smile, as if it’s the most obvious thing in the world.
• James is such a soft dad that just hearing the kids say “daddy” for the first time made him emotional. He tells everyone about it — Sirius had lost count of how many times he’d heard the same story. “My kid said I’m the best dad in the world yesterday. I’m not saying it’s true, but I’m not denying it either,” he jokes with a smile that lights up his entire face.
• If one of the kids mentions liking something, even if it’s a small detail, James jumps into action. “You like chocolate frogs? Great, now we have an entire collection.” He fills the shopping cart with anything he thinks the kids will love, only realizing the excess when you laugh while trying to find space in the house to store everything.
• For James, physical touch is a form of love. He wraps his arm around your waist whenever you’re together, as if he needs to make sure you’re there. When you’re cooking, he leans against the counter just to watch, but never without first running his hands over your shoulders or waist. He pulls you close with the excuse of “needing to taste something” you’re making, but in reality, he just wants you in his arms.
• He has the habit of complimenting you out of nowhere, especially in public, as if he can’t hold back how he feels. “Are you all seeing this? How did I marry the most beautiful woman in the world?” he jokes with his friends, but his look is completely serious. You might roll your eyes, but the sparkle in his smile always melts you.
• James has a smile unlike any other, one he reserves only for you. It’s the kind of smile that makes it feel like you’re the only person in the world who matters, full of tenderness and adoration.
• Even without music, James finds an excuse to make you twirl around the room. Whether it’s after a long day or just because he thinks you need a smile, he takes your hand and leads you in an exaggerated way, as if you’re the stars of a ballroom. When you protest, he just laughs and insists, saying, “You know I won’t stop until I get a smile, right?”
• He has the habit of pulling you into a long kiss, especially when you’re in a rush to leave. “Just one more, please,” he asks, pressing his forehead against yours after, still a little out of breath and with shiny lips. Of course, this results in you both being late more often than you’d like, but who can resist him?
• He loves it when you wear his clothes, especially his sweaters and shirts. When he notices you’re cold, he doesn’t wait for you to ask — he just wraps you in one of his huge coats and puts his arms around you like a human blanket. “Much better this way, don’t you think?” he whispers in your ear, though it doesn’t take long before he removes his clothes from you.
• The king of excuses to hug you. “You don’t look comfortable in that chair,” he comments, pulling you onto his lap with ease. “You know what would be better? Sitting here.” He does this anywhere: in the living room, the backyard, showering your neck with kisses that fluster you.
• James knows exactly how to make you laugh, even on the toughest days. He might mimic voices, make faces, or even create hilarious imaginary scenes with objects around. His goal, he swears, is always to hear you laugh, because “if you’re laughing, I’m winning at life.”
• When you’re sick or tired, James becomes your loving caretaker. He brings tea, makes soup, and wraps you in blankets. “You just need to tell me what you want, my love, and I’ll do it,” he insists, even if his soup attempt ends up being more funny than delicious.
• James loves telling the story of the day he met you. He does it with such enthusiasm that it feels like he’s reliving the moment every time, emphasizing how you captivated him right away. “I knew from that instant I was lost,” he confesses, while you roll your eyes, but your heart races anyway.
• No matter how tired he is, James never forgets to give you a kiss before bed. He pulls you close, whispers something sweet or funny, and kisses your forehead, cheek, and finally your lips. “Good night, my life,” he says with so much affection that it feels like you’re in the arms of the whole world.
• When the kids scribble on the house walls, you try to be firm about the rules, but James shows up with a mischievous look. “You know, they were just expressing their creativity,” he argues while trying to scrub the marks. In the end, he ends up sitting in time-out with them, admitting that “he was an accomplice to the art.”
• During your pregnancy, James had the habit of lying next to you and talking to the baby, even when it seemed silly. He would talk about how excited he was to meet the baby, or make up funny stories about teaching the baby to fly. When he felt the baby move, his eyes would shine in a way that made you fall even more in love.
• Before bed, James turns simple stories into epic adventures. He does all the voices for the characters, makes exaggerated gestures, and even creates a soundtrack with light spells. Even if the kids are exhausted, they always ask for “just one more story, daddy.”
• When you say no to something the kids want, James does his best to negotiate on their behalf. “Love, they just want to build a fort in the middle of the living room. And look, they’ve already assigned me as the troll guarding the entrance. I can’t disappoint my adventurers,” he says with an irresistible look.
• Even on days when the kids make a mess or are in a bad mood, James stays calm. He believes every behavior has a reason and prefers to resolve things with conversations and playfulness rather than scolding. When one of the kids cries, he immediately sits next to them, saying, “It’s okay, champ. What’s wrong? Daddy’s here.”
• James never misses a chance to shower the kids with affection. He hugs them, kisses their cheeks, and messes up their hair. “You know I love you, right?” he says daily, because he believes it’s important for them to grow up knowing how adored they are.
• James loves creating little traditions. Every Friday night, he organizes “pajama parties” in the living room, where you watch Muggle movies (courtesy of Remus) and eat enchanted popcorn that changes flavor. At Christmas, he always dresses up as Santa, even though the kids already know it’s him.
• He completely surrenders to playtime. If that means getting covered in paint or glitter, James doesn’t mind. To him, the kids’ laughter is worth any effort. Later, he makes sure to help them clean up, singing made-up songs to make the moment fun.
• James makes sure to emphasize how amazing the kids are. “Did you know you’re the smartest wizard that ever existed?” or “That was the most impressive defense I’ve ever seen in a Quidditch match! And trust me, I’ve seen a lot of Quidditch.” He believes every day is a new chance to make the kids feel special.
• James makes sure to show you how much he loves you in front of the kids. He says “I love your mom” whenever he can, believing this will teach them what a healthy relationship looks like. He believes raising kids in a home full of love and laughter is the greatest gift he can give them.

I am not even anti-billionaire when it comes to rich women. Women deserve to be ultra rich and live however we want; having financial freedom, real independence, enjoying luxury, not owing our time and energy to anybody, and being impossible for men to exploit us cause we don’t need them for anything. I myself am working hard to be rich enough that i don’t have to work hard anymore and so i can enjoy my life while fulfilling my desires that are far beyond my basic needs. If i ever become as rich as Taylor Swift, i'd love to have my own private jet as well and use it to travel everywhere while leaving the carbon emissions on every jealous hater’s face to make them feel suffocated so they can shut their mouths for once!
These low-life, chronically online, judgmental freaks who talk about caring about humanity or the environment only do their judgmental shit talk when they have to target or blame a woman. Meet them irl and you’ll see they are just jobless, miserable nobodies sitting behind their phones all day scrolling and pointing fingers at other women thinking they can bring them down to their level. Sigh!😮💨 And they fail every time. You will never find these people actually doing something nice for the world themselves because they think hating and blaming women automatically puts them in the "good people" category and gives them the validation of everyone else pretending to be a good person on the internet! They are so horrible they even defend cyberbullying rich successful women with comments like:
“but she’s a billionaire she deserves backlash”
“oh she’s so rude and obsessed with herself she deserves all the hate”
“oh but she has never donated her money to charity she’s so selfish”
The so called angry liberal activists, including some of the radfems, go in all their way to pass such stupid ridiculous comments; no wonder so many women are leaving feminism because what we want is freedom, rest and to own our lives. We are not here to carry the burden of everything y'all like to put on our shoulders. Feminism is only about our liberation from men and patriarchy so put your focus on that, whatever we do other than that is none of anyone’s damn business. Stop expecting feminists to solve every humanitarian crisis as we are not here for that! Stop asking women to cut off our expenses and make sacrifices for the sake of others. No we won’t do that! Cope and cry! And do it yourself if you care!
And to the women who often get guilt-tripped by these miserable insecure losers for wanting a rich luxurious lifestyle, ignore them all! They are not at your level for you to be wasting your energy on them. You are the only one working hard for yourself to gain these privileges, money, and freedom. You deserve to cherish it however YOU want, and not according to these low-value people who didn’t put an ounce of effort in your life but have the audacity to tell you what to do with your blessings. They all didn’t support Taylor Swift in 2016 when she was cancelled, didn’t care about how she was feeling, refused to acknowledge her existence like cowards to be on the safe side of the internet, and also participated in cyber bullying her all over the internet just for fun. Now when she’s a self-made prospering billionaire, all of a sudden she exists in everyone’s mind as a horrible person because she is not living her life the same miserable way as theirs.
Always keep in mind that they don’t even hate you, they hate themselves, they hate their lives, they hate everything about themselves so what they direct at you is just the projection of their own insecurities and they always do it in the form of gaslighting. If Taylor Swift did it while enduring the entire world hating on her, so can you! Stay evil and selfish while sipping on your fav wine in your private jet and let them cry about it because nobody is important when you’re lost in having fun, let alone their opinions. I am proud of you for choosing to upgrade your life, instead of suffering in the same shit! Cheers! 🥂
i will always be anti-billionaire, but it pisses me off when people talk about Taylor swift likes shes the literal spawn of Satan. sure, she does have a very big impact on the environment, but I see males harassing her about her carbon footprint but don't bat an eye at elon musk or any other male billionaire. if you're going to target a billionaire for their impact on the environment maybe focus on all billionaires, not just a woman lmao. don't claim to be doing this to "help bring awareness for the earth" when you literally only talk about taylor

P.S. I Love You.
Summary: You suddenly receive letters that re open the wounds of grief. But they turn out for the better.
Warnings: ANGST, FLUFF, FLASHBACK
The call you hadn’t expected to receive came through your cell phone one hot, summer day in Charlotte. It changed the trajectory of your life from then on. A horrifying scream pierced the air, causing your mother to drop her coffee mug while sitting out in the yard, the ceramic glass shattering against cobblestone. When she’d found you in the kitchen, you were in the fetal position, body trembling as you wailed. She rushed to your aid, down on her knees with frantic eyes and a continuous chant of ‘what happened’ spilling from her lips.
“TERRY! HE’S GONE!”
The words didn’t seem real. When the tears came, hot and endless, you ached from the pain entering your world without the decency to knock first. Your mother’s words couldn’t be heard over your despair.
You cried as if your brain was being shredded from the inside. Emotional pain flowed out of your every pore. From your mouth came a cry so raw that even the eyes of your mother’s were suddenly wet with tears. You grabbed onto your mother, your violent shaking almost causing her to to fall flat and from your eyes came a thicker flow of tears the more you begin to understand.
Not Terry. It didn’t make sense for him to die. He was strong, the pinnacle of a man who in your eyes was unstoppable. No. This was a nightmare. You had to wake up from the nightmare. On that kitchen floor you questioned God. Your mother’s cries didn’t help calm you down. The whole world had vanished for you, now there was only pain enough to break you, pain enough to change you beyond recognition.
“No, no, no, no—”
Mike and Terry were killed in Shelby Springs, Louisiana. You refused to hear the details. Terry had a thing for saving his cousin from whatever he’d get himself involved in. You developed resentment against Mike and how he called on Terry to come to the rescue because he knew that he wouldn’t say no. Something in your gut told you that this time, he really shouldn’t leave.
Dried tears made your face feel tight and your eyes were blurry. Your chest burned and a nauseating sensation settled into your belly. You had your head in your mother’s lap on the sofa as the sun set. Across from you were your aunties and cousins, all silent and attempting to comfort you with soothing rubs and kisses to your forehead.
“I’m so sorry, Y/N…”
“Everything will be okay…”
“I can’t believe this…”
“I wish this never happened to you.”
You’d forgotten what it felt like to speak.
Going back to your shared apartment would only reopen the fresh wounds.
His pictures.
His smell.
His clothes.
His side of the bed.
What’s worse is his parents wanted you to join them in traveling to Shelby Springs to bring his body back home. You were his fiancé. As terrified as you were, you knew it was the right thing to do. Your mother joined you on the journey and her support gave you the strength to walk into that morgue and see him. It was cold and eerie. The silence unnerving. As you enter with his parents, your eyes fall to a stainless steel table with a body covered in a sheet.
Your knees buckle and you stop suddenly, too weak and afraid to carry on. Everything was happening so fast. You’d gotten the call about Terry two days ago, and now you were here barely standing in a room for corpses. Your mother had her arms wrapped around you as you take slow steps towards the table. Heart hammering in your chest, you watch as the sheet lowered to reveal his face.
You’d lost the ability to stand.
He’d suffered. Haunting images of his battered face and chest littered with bullet holes frightened and angered you. Nothing can prepare you for something like this. He didn’t look like himself. Death changed him in ways you weren’t prepared to see.
Pale. Bruised. Lifeless. Still.
It was something you couldn’t even force yourself to see even during his funeral. And neither could his parents. After what felt like hours, you all were on your way back home with Terry, making arrangements for him to be cremated. After all, it was Terry’s wish. Intrusive thoughts flooded your mind the days leading to his memorial service.
Clearly, he suffered, but what was his last words? What was the last thing on his mind? Did he think of you? What had he eaten that morning?
The morning of his memorial service a few days later, you sat within your bedroom, burying your nose in his clothes and sniffing his cologne. You wanted his belongings, but it was evidence back in Shelby Springs. They were building a case on the corupt police there and if found guilty, a multi–million dollar paycheck would be given. For Mike and Terry. The teardrop diamond engagement ring on your finger twinkled in the sun as you sat surrounded by family and friends.
Behind your black shades, your puffy eyes stared at a photo of Michael and Terry. All smiles and laughter. Terry’s deep voice and adorable smile flooded your mind and it shook you to the core. His big arms circling your waist made you wrap your arms around yourself to mimick that feeling. The smell of his beard whenever you’d nuzzle your face against his neck.
His urn sat on a podium and when you’d gotten up to deliver a speech, you touched it. You’d pressed your lips against it. Taking a deep breath, you opened a folded piece of notebook paper to read from, but soon, you found that you couldn’t speak without your voice quivering. The distant sound of sniffles and encouragement was static noise.
Fuck this.
Your fingers began ripping the paper into shreds. Fuck a proper speech. Your person was stripped of life at the tender age of thirty two. He was a good man.
You part your lips to speak, “Terry Richmond is the love of my life…and I don’t know how I’m gonna live without him. This all feels like I’m being punished. How could god take someone like him away from me?”
You spoke those words truthfully. Yes, you were questioning God. Why him? Why Terry? Why not the ones who did this to him? Why not ANYONE who’s ever wronged him? Why did his cousin call him to help? Why did Terry go instead of staying with you?
Fuck the many stages of grief. You were filled with rage and sadness so powerful. There was no way you’d come to accept this. While others moved on, you would have a constant reminder that your soulmate was stripped from your life. A part of you wanted to join him. Wherever he was.
That’s how you felt for a long while, but as time progressed, because that’s what happens with life, Terry’s absence didn’t hurt as much. Of course, during special occasions it would trigger the grief, but you’d taken the time to speak to a therapist and talk about how his death affected you. That was a year ago.
Everything is recycled, or so that is what you see with your eyes. The atoms of one thing become those of another. The energy from one place becomes energy in another. So while you have no idea where he is, or what God asked him to become next, you’re looking forward to being with him again and you feel his love so strongly in the ether. So, call it reincarnation or recycling, you’re okay with whatever. Terry’s still somewhere, and that's what matters to you.
——
“Morning!”
You walked with a pep in your step towards your mailbox after your Pilates class. Something you’d always wanted to do but never had the courage to before. It’s expensive, but you loved it. Opening the mailbox, you don’t have much but credit card bills and junk mail. As you grab your mail, you notice a thick, distressed, stationary envelope fall to the floor within the lobby of your apartment building.
Your eyes follow the envelope facing downward. You crouch down to pick it up, the pain in your legs from Pilates causing you to groan. Once you were up, you lock your mailbox and head towards your elevators. On the ride up, you think about what you’d like to prepare for dinner. Maybe steak would be nice since you hadn’t eaten it in a while.
The doors slide open and you were out of the elevator and approaching your door. As you pushed it open, you were welcomed by your orange and white cat. The new decor courtesy of your cousin who is an interior designer gave an impression of something straight out of a catalog.
A promotion.
New Apartment.
New Car.
You were starting over. It felt good to do that. You still lived in Charlotte, but letting go of the things that triggered your grief was the best way for you to move forward.
You’d kicked off your running shoes and sat the mail down on the living room table to go through. As you flipped through, the envelope caught your eye. Fancy penmanship covered the front and as your eyes scanned, your body became rigid. Your heart sank to your stomach.
From: Terry
To: My Beautiful Fiance’
You blink twice to see if this was real and what you were actually reading.
How is this possible?
As you sat on your sofa, your eyes began to flood with tears. Was someone pulling a sick joke or did Terry actually write you a letter? So many questions and a lot of confusion. You could feel your tears trickling down your cheeks and over your lips the more you stared at the envelope.
So much for getting better. The fear you felt at that moment alone in your apartment is what stopped you from opening the letter. You place it down on the coffee table and wrap your arms around you. Your cat nudged you against your leg and as you look down, her yellow eyes stared back with a softness that helped to calm you.
Terry had gifted you this cat for your birthday a year ago.
Shortly before he’d left for Shelby Springs.
She nudged you again and you felt it was her way of telling you to open the envelope. With one shaky hand, you grab the envelope from the coffee table and use your almond-shaped finger nail to open it. Inside is a folded piece of paper. You retrieve it and open it slowly, heart racing. Black ink and cursive.
Hey, baby.
Surprise. I know this probably feels a little bit morbid... But I just hate the idea that I'm not gonna be there to see you freak out over turning 30. I mean, it kills me not to be there. Heh-heh. That's funny. Okay. No, it's not. You're gonna be so impressed. I have a plan, baby. Can you believe it? I've written you letters. Letters that will be coming to you all sorts of ways. I waited till your birthday. I figured you weren't stepping out of the house for a while. Letter number one will be arriving tomorrow. Now, you gotta do what I say, okay? Don't try to figure out how the letters are coming. It's too brilliant and it'll ruin my plan. Just go along with me on this. Because the thing is, I just can't say goodbye yet. So for starters. I want you to get dolled up, and just go out and celebrate tonight. Go out with your girls. I hereby free you from a party with your family, especially your mom. I’m Sorry, I couldn’t be there, baby. I’m a need you to get a little crazy. So have a slice of cake, put on my favorite dress and get out of the apartment. Y/N, make a plan. For me, okay? And know that wherever I am, I'm missing you. Happy birthday.
P.S
I love you.
You wept silently, your tears blotching the paper. You shut your eyes tight and allow yourself to cry with a bounce of your shoulders and an aching feeling of sorrow. As you read the letter, you could hear his deep vibrato. You pictured him sitting somewhere on a hammock writing to you. Surrounded by the wild and reminded of how it was his peace.
Bringing the paper to your nose, you smell the parchment and try your best to catch his scent. It only smelled of paper with its lignin aroma. Sniffling, you wipe away snot and tears before placing the paper on the coffee table, carefully folding it. Your birthday was indeed tomorrow and you had only planned to have dinner with your mom at her place. Just the two of you.
Your friends had suggested going out for drinks, but the thought of partying and being surrounded by so many people overstimulated you in the worst way. You couldn’t bring yourself to go out and enjoy life and what it has to offer when your forever person is six feet under. Trying your best to shake those thoughts from your mind, you meditate. Calming your breath and releasing the tension from your muscles. This was something you’d never stop doing.
Opening your eyes, you blink to adjust to the blurry view. Too emotional, you finally stand from the sofa because you were unable to read the letter again. After taking a long shower, you start on dinner with a vinyl record playing. While flipping your steak, the sensation of strong hands trapping your waist caused a shiver to slither down your spine. You drop the spatula and touch where you’d felt it, body seizing up in fear. Sharp breaths escaped your mouth.
Your mind was most definitely playing tricks on you. Terry loved to creep up behind you while you were cooking to touch on you and kiss you neck. He’d whisper in your ear because he knew that his voice drove you crazy no matter ther octave. That ghostly sensation triggered nostalgic memories of what it felt to be wrapped up within the embrace of Terry Richmond.
“SHIT—”
You rush to the stove to check on your steak. The hot grease popped your arm painfully, causing you to groan. You finish your steak and plate it with your broccolini and mashed potatoes. Some wine sounded great. You open your drink cabinet and soon realize how high up the wine is. On your tip toes, you reach up, struggling to grab a bottle of red wine. Fingertips touching the cork, you strain, one knee on the counter now.
“Nah…whatchu doing, baby?”
Terry plucked the bottle from the top shelf with ease because of his towering height compared to yours. You give him a dirty look, snatching the wine from his hand. Terry gave you a lazy smirk with low eyes. He looked oh so delectable in his white T-shirt and bootcut jeans.
“That’s how you do me when I come to the rescue, munchkin?”
“I could have gotten it, T,” you roll your eyes.
“When I’m around you know I get everything in the high places, Y/N. Fix your face,” Terry pecks your forehead, “C’mon so we can eat this good steak. I’m tryna see you model that new lingerie.”
Terry backed away with a bite of his bottom lip and a wink. Instantly, your frustration melted away and you couldn’t fight the urge to smile…
Blinking, you bring your attention back to the present. Of course, you have a step stool in the pantry. You retrieve it and place it on the floor. Stepping up, you succeed in grabbing a bottle of red wine. You scan the label before sitting it on the kitchen counter to pour yourself a heaping glass. Sitting on the bar stool, you eat your food and try your best to forget that sudden recollection.
It was so hard to forget. Everything about him was so hard to put away forever. Goosebumps on your skin, vivid memories of how he’d undressed you, talked you through it, admired you, professed how much he’d loved you. Over and over. You take a sip of your wine, fingers trembling around the stem.
That letter triggered everything.
——
The morning of your birthday was uneventful. You woke up later than you’d expected, phone buzzing on its wireless charger with texts wishing you happy birthday. Wiping the crust from your eyes, you roll over onto your belly, snatching up your phone. Friends and family flooded your inbox and created social media posts.
You’re thirty.
You’d think it would feel so odd saying that. Honestly, it didn’t feel any different. Sitting up in bed now, you reply to everyone before climbing out of bed. After your usual morning routine, you make yourself a quick breakfast before heading to your mom’s house. You planned to cook dinner with her and catch up.
The drive over took about forty minutes. You spotted your mother grabbing mail from the mailbox in her robe and slippers. She waved to you happily while standing on the porch. You pull behind her SUV and put the car in park. Stepping out, you give your mother a big, toothy grin before rushing over to embrace her.
“My baby! Happy Birthday!”
You squeeze her tightly, the smell of her scented lotion comforting you.
“I’m glad you’re here. I still have some hot breakfast on the stove.”
“Mama, I ate already.” You reply with a smile.
“You may get hungry again, come on.”
You enter your childhood home to the smell of grits, biscuits, bacon, and eggs. Suddenly, your stomach starts rumbling. Maybe you’ll have a small plate.
“I just had to run out and check the mail—”
You paused your curiosity at the cake your mother baked you when a gasp could be heard. You turn and spot your mother with a hand over her mouth and eyes wide.
“Mama, what is it?”
“Wha–there’s a letter here–from Terry—”
You rush over, taking it from your mother’s hands. She tried to snatch it back but you had your back turned.
“Y/N—”
Hey, Mama.
It’s Terry. Make sure my baby has a good time. Make sure you do everything you wanna do, whenever you wanna do it. And make sure my baby does things. I want you to take her to all the places she’d wanted to go. And be sure to give her a big kiss for me. She’s my special girl.
Love you.
“What does it say?”
Your mother lingered behind you with caution. You read the words a final time before turning, holding out the paper for her. She gripped the edge carefully and it slipped from your grasp. You could feel your knees getting weak, so you flop down into a dining chair. Your mother read the words allowed, her voice trembling.
“I wonder who sent this?” Sniffling, your mother turned the paper over, “it’s been a year.”
“I got a letter in the mail yesterday.” You revealed.
Your mother took a seat across from you. She placed the letter on the table, pressing out the folded line to make it straighter.
“It’s his handwriting for sure,” Your mother stroked the penmanship, “This is so eerie…”
“He’d planned this. Maybe he had a feeling that his days were numbered when he’d left for Louisiana…”
You stand, pacing back and forth. Your mother folded her hands against the table as she watched you.
“Even so, why would he leave? Why would he leave if he had a feeling—”
“Maybe he didn’t.” Your mother said.
“No, the way he worded these letters…it’s as if he’s speaking like he knew he was going to die—”
Your mother put up a hand, “Okay, that’s enough—”
“It’s never going to be enough! It’s never going to be the same!”
You feel your eyes welling up with tears. You release a shuddering breath and try your best to calm your nerves.
“It’s your special day, baby. Please don’t get yourself worked up. Terry wouldn’t want that.”
It didn’t matter what he’d want anyway. He’s gone.
“I need a second.”
You turn on your heels, making your way towards your old bedroom. Inside, you shut the door and settle into your old bed. Kicking off your shoes, you gather the sheets over your body and hide yourself from view. Tears rolled over your nose as you stare at the floral patterns stitched into your comforter.
Your mother is right, this is supposed to be your special day. You’re supposed to be happy and celebrating. Not crying and sad. Not that it wasn’t okay to be sad, but Terry wrote two letters expressing how he’d wanted you to enjoy turning thirty and make the most of it.
Uncovering yourself, you slip from the bed and walk over to your dresser. Opening the top, right drawer, you retrieve a bottle of tequila and a shot glass. Your emergency stash…
“Come on..”
You opened your bedroom door, darkness awaiting you ahead. Distant chatter and laughter from your relatives became muffled when your boyfriend, Terry slipped in behind you before shutting the door. You stumble your way towards the lamp on your end table, flicking it on and igniting the room with a low ambiance. Terry stood with his back pressed against the door, a wrinkled white dress shirt on with black slacks. You had on a navy blue summer dress.
Everyone gathered at your mom’s place after a funeral service for your great aunt May. You didn’t like the woman much. She’d always been hard on you and favored your cousins. Terry walked around your room, eyeing old photographs from your high school days. The sound of your drawer opening caught his attention and he made his way over toward you. With a finger pressed to your lips, you pull out a bottle of tequila that you’d snagged from your parents liquor cabinet.
You were of age to drink, but after being around your family, you needed to sneak a little something. Terry chuckled and shook his head before accepting a shot glass that you’d gotten from a trip to Canun. You pour some in each one before clinking glasses, some of the tequila spilling over the rim and causing both of you to laugh.
You knock back the drink and while your face scrunched at the taste, Terry simple smiled at you.
“Burns, doesn’t it?” He whispered.
“Yeah,” you clear your throat, “I don’t really like this one.”
“Don’t let me find out you can’t handle alcohol.”
“Shut up.”
Terry approached you. Your smile wavered, eyes blinking up at him slowly. The smell of his cologne lingered in your nose. He eyed you down before taking the bottle from your hand.
“I think we should get outta here before your mama comes looking for us,” Terry said.
“Afraid to be alone with me in my room, TJ?” You tease.
Terry chuckled, bringing his face closer to yours.
“I’m afraid of what I might do to you if I stay in here any longer. We both know how loud you can get…”
Standing in your room with that shot glass from Cancun in your hand, you recall that night. You hadn’t washed the glass afterwards, just put it away. You fill it and toast to being thirty before drinking it down in one motion. You were reminded of how bad it tasted but it was worth it.
You put it away before fixing yourself back up to join your mother. She was in the kitchen prepping for dinner when you walked out. She’d heard your footsteps and paused cleaning the collards to look at you.
“I’m sorry for lashing out on you.” You apologized.
Your mother gave you a small smile, “It’s okay. I’m glad you’re better.”
You walk into her arms and she wrapped them around you.
“It’s okay to be sad. It’s okay to cry.”
“I know,” you shut your eyes, “We had so many plans for my birthday.”
“I know,” your mother held your face as she looked at you, “And you can keep that memory and enjoy yourself. Surround yourself with the people that love you. Go out and have a good time tonight. Shake some tail and get drunk!”
You laugh and roll your eyes.
You can almost feel the hangover in the morning.
——
“HE DON’T WANNA BE SAVED DON’T SAVE HIM! THAT IS NOT MY NIGGA DON’T CLAIM HIM!”
You rap to the lyrics, the trap beat driving you to shake ass and get low. Birthday sash over your body like a pageant girl and birthday crown on your head, you make the most of your thirtieth birthday at the lounge with your girls as they hype you up.
“GO Y/N! GO Y/N! GO Y/N!”
You felt sexy in your red dress with a plunging neckline that hugged your curves. Strappy stilettos dawned your pretty feet and you’d done a full makeup look. You felt good and looked good, turning heads and drawing attention. Another shot made its way into your hand and you drank it down as your girls cheered you on.
“Woah woah, birthday girl!” Your girlfriend, Candace had to help you because you would have face planted the table covered in drinks, “Take a seat, Princess!”
“I’m too hype to sit! This music is fire!” You drunkenly shout.
“And too pretty and valuable to end up in the ER!” Another friend by the name of Marsha yelled over the music.
You wave them off but sit anyway. A bottle of water was thrust into your hands and you accept it, drinking down half.
It felt good to get out and have a good time. Two years is a long time. Being surrounded by loyal friends warmed your heart. The drunkenness was going to make you cry but you refused to ruin your makeup. They’d been there to protect and support you through it all. You look at each one of them, a big smile on your face.
“What is it?!” A friend named Nancy asked.
“I JUST LOVE YOU GUYSSSSSS!!!!”
You open your arms with a pout of your lip and they all get up to hug you.
“I needed this!” You dab your eyes with a napkin, careful not to ruin your eye makeup, “After everything with Terry, I didn’t know what it felt like to have fun and let loose.”
“IM GLAD YOU DECIDED TO STEP OUT! TERRY WOULDV’E WANTED THAT!”
Curious, you lean into Marsha to speak to her closely.
“Did you ever…receive a letter from Terry?”
Marsha’s eyes grew wide. Your other girls came in close to see what was going on.
“You did, didn’t you?” You asked.
“…I—yes. We all did. We…we didn’t want to tell you because we didn’t want trigger anything—”
“Please don’t be upset!” Nancy begged, “We didn’t want to make you sad.”
Candace sat in silence staring at you.
“I’m not upset! It’s okay!”
“You sure?” Candace questioned, grabbing your hands.
“Totally! What did it say?”
They each shared a look.
“It sad something along the lines of making sure we look after you and that he wants you to make the most of your birthday and life and have fun and not worry about him. He said that he loved us and appreciated us for always being there for you.” Marsha revealed.
Candace and Nancy nodded their heads in agreement.
“Wow,” you give your friends a drunken smile, “He wrote you guys too. I miss him so much…”
Marsha strokes your back while Nancy fanned your face to cool you down. You release a meditating breath before laughing.
“Terry always had a trick up his sleeve! How he managed to pull this all off is amazing to me!”
When they realized you weren’t sad, they joined in on the laughter.
“He was always a man on a mission! You remember how he got you, right?” Candace said.
“Had that man showing up to your job with flowers! Took you on fifty first dates like your favorite movie!” Nancy recalled.
“He knew what he wanted and he didn’t hesitate! That’s a man right there! God created only one Terry Richmond for a reason! That shit can’t be replicated!”
“I know that’s right!” Marsha shouted.
“Let’s toast to Terry and his forever love for our girl!”
With new shots, you all raise a glass and look towards the ceiling before tapping it against the table and drinking it down.
The rest of the night went by in a blur. You were dropped off to your apartment and tucked in. Your alarm went off, waking you up with a raging headache and a dry mouth. Your makeup stained your pillow and the smell of bacon wafted your nose. You sit up abruptly, looking around with crusty eyes.
“TERRY?!”
Your loud voice alerted whoever was in your apartment and several footsteps could be heard outside your door. Marsha, Candace, and Nancy came in wearing t-shirts and panties with spatulas in their hands.
“Hey, Y/N, you okay?” Candace asked with a worried look.
“I…”
You look around, swallowing spit with difficulty.
“What’s wrong?” Candace placed a hand on your knee.
“I must of been having a nightmare.”
You scratch your head and plaster on a smile.
“I’m okay. I smell bacon!”
Candace stood up to let you out of bed. You skip towards your bathroom to brush your teeth.
“We’ll be out in the kitchen, Y/N!”
“Okay!”
The door shut behind them and you stare at your reflection, the running water filling your ears. You were used to waking up to the smell of bacon whenever Terry cooked you breakfast. You brush your teeth and clean your face, putting your hair up into a bun before exiting your room.
As you make your way into the living room, your eyes light up when you notice a large bouquet of red roses dusted with glitter. Your friends enter the living room, filling you in on the surprise being left at your door. You admire and smell the roses before retrieving a card that was attached to the vase.
Taking a seat, you open it, staring down at a pretty birthday card. Opening the card, two plane tickets fall out and there are written words on the inside.
Dear Y/N,
You know I had to get you red roses! Remember how we always talked about visiting Jamaica? Well, here’s two tickets. I have family there and I want you to stay with them and make the most of a good time. Take your mother with you. I know that would make you happy. When you get there, you’ll be able to visit all my favorite places. Happy Birthday my special angel.
P.S,
I Love You.
You were so drawn into the card that you hadn’t realized your friends were reading too. They wiped away tears and admired your pretty roses. You smiled, the tickets in your lap. They each hug you tight, causing you to cry. For once, they were tears of joy. You couldn’t wait to surprise your mother with the ticket. She’d always wanted to go to Jamaica.
——
Soft white sand beneath your toes.
Turquoise water stretching out for miles.
Palm trees swaying from the warm breeze.
Red, green, and yellow dress wrapped around your body snugly.
Your faux locs brushed across your back, the hair charms tickling your skin. You turn to pick up your coconut, bringing the straw to your lips and sucking down the delicious water.
The smell of ackee and saltfish wafted your nose. The spices traveling from the open patio doors that led into the compound. Bob Marley serenaded you as you sway in your spot.
Terry had cousins in Montego Bay that welcomed your mother and you with open arms. An entire compound surrounded by the beach. They cooked tasty Caribbean dishes everyday and you got a good tan whenever you could. There were jeeps on the compound and your mother and you would drive out to town to shop and do tourist activities.
Being surrounded by Terry’s relatives brought out a comfort you hadn’t felt in a while. You’d see his parents from time to time, spoke with them everyday, but his mother brought out a sadness in you that you tried to avoid. In Jamaica, you were filled with laughter. They showed you photos of Terry in his youth. Big ears, goofy smile, deep tan, and a surfboard in his hands.
You had a letter waiting for you.
This is where I sat thinking about you after the very first time we met. You didn't look real to me at first. I never saw so many colors on one girl before... But you looked like you belonged out there, all right. You and all your colors. Do you remember the first thing you ever said to me? ("I'm lost.") Oh, you didn't look lost, not to me. At first, the no-talking thing didn't last. Before long, I couldn't get you to shut up. But you were so cute, trying to impress me with all your grand plans. I had no idea what you were talking about... I didn't have a clue, actually. I loved you right then and there. Life had changed as I knew it. And now it's changed again, love. See, I don't worry about you remembering me... It's that girl on the road you keep forgetting. "My business is to create. It doesn't even matter what you do." You told me that, remember?
P.S.
So go home. Go find it. Find that thing that makes you like nobody else. You’re unique.
“Y/N! You hungry?”
You turn, shielding your eyes from the sun rays. Your mother stood on the patio with a drink in her hand. Your stomach rumbled as you pushed yourself up from the sand, brushing the grains from your dress. You jog over, trying to avoid your feet from reacting to the hot sand. Slipping on your sandals, you climb and take a seat on a patio chair. The table was covered with all the foods you’d grown to love on your trip. You help yourself to a few pieces of plantain first.
Around your neck is one of Terry’s necklaces from his child hood. A handcrafted, wooden, beaded necklace with the colors of the Jamaican flag. Your mother sat next to you and made your plate for you. Terry’s great aunt, uncle, and cousins joined you. This was your last day in Jamaica and tonight there would be a farewell ceremony.
“Dig in!” Terry’s Aunt Chandice said. She had carob skin that glistened like onyx stone in the sun with thick locs that almost touched her ankles. His uncle Sean reminded you of Terry with his green eyes and striking features. He too had long locs that he wore in a bun.
His cousins were older than you but only by a few years. Two boys and a girl. Chris, Tarone, and Raeni.
You learned that the two boys and Terry used to compete in surf competitions. Raeni was into music and dance. During your trip she’d taught you how to move your hips and she even dragged you to a club or two where you let loose with her friends.
“You’ll come back, yeah?” Aunt Chandice asked while they cleared the table.
“Of course!”
You loved it there. You didn’t want to leave.
After lunch, you took a long nap and afterwards you went for a swim. The hours ticked on and soon it was ceremony time. All of you dressed in all white as you stood on the beach, torches lit beneath the sunset. You brought out a small tightly sealed canister filled with some of Terry’s ashes. Handing it over to Uncle Sean, you stand back and watch them have their own traditional memorial ceremony to honor Terry.
Fresh tears cascaded down your cheeks while Aunt Chandice, Raeni, and your mom comforted you. Uncle Sean soon asked you to step forward with the others, each of you taking turns to pour his ashes into the sea. A piece of Terry sprinkled in places that he’d loved. You danced and laughed, twirling around and picturing Terry’s soul watching you from the clouds with a proud smile.
After many cups of rum, you retreat to your room, falling in bed and staring out at the moon. Sleep overcame you and as you drifted off, you dreamed of being in a boat, slowly floating under the moon. Strong arms circled you and the smell of sea spray tickled your nose. You open your eyes and look up, a pair of eyes that reminded you of the Caribbean Sea staring back at you.
“Terry Richmond.” You whisper.
“Y/N.”
He’s shirtless with white linen pants on.
“What do you love most about Jamaica?”
“It’s a part of you…it’s a home away from home.”
Terry hummed, stroking your arm.
“Are you happy?”
Terry peered down at you. He sat up on his elbow, hovering above you, the moonlight creating a glow that surrounded him. You reach up to stroke his sculpted cheek.
“I am. More now that I know you’re okay.”
“It’s not easy,” Your eyes shine with tears, “I’m going to miss you forever.”
“I know, it’s okay,” Terry gave you a reassuring smile, “I’ll always miss you.”
Terry closed the distance between you two and his soft lips that tasted of mangoes and saltwater molded into yours perfectly. You stroke his broad back with your fingertips, electricity sparking your heart. The kiss went from patient to fervent, Terry’s hands in your hair, stroking the pattering of your butterfly locs. His tongue flicked yours and he sucked on your lips hungrily.
“Baby, baby,” Terry spoke against your lips, forehead against yours, “I have to go…I love you.”
“No…don’t leave me…”
You wrap your arms around his shoulders and kiss him more. Terry grunted into your mouth. You stroke his tanned skin, squeezing his muscles and molding your hands against his body to feel as much of him as you could before it was too late.
It was already too late. But this felt so real.
It felt as if you were grabbing air.
“Terry…no…please.”
“I love you, Y/N…”
Shooting up from the bed, you feel around, trying to grab a hold of something. Anything. You look around, the reality of where you were settling over you like a weighted blanket. You clutch your chest, sweaty skin beneath your palm. With your other hand, you touch your lips. Shutting your eyes, you see the last images of Terry before they faded away.
It was him. It had to be him.
He visited you in your dreams. He’s happy. He’s in heaven. You smile as tears roll down your cheeks.
Acceptance.
——
Dear Y/N,
I don't know how much time I’ll have left with you in this world. I don't mean literally, I mean you're out buying ice cream and you'll be home soon. But I have a feeling this is the last letter, because there is only one thing left to tell you. It isn't to go down memory lane or make you buy a lamp, you can take care of yourself without any help from me. It's to tell you how much you move me, how you changed me. You made me a man, by loving me Y/N. And for that, I am eternally grateful... Literally. If you can promise me anything, promise me that whenever you're sad, or unsure, or you lose complete faith, that you'll try to see yourself through my eyes. Thank you for the honor of being my fiancé. I'm a man with no regrets. How lucky am I. You made my life, baby. But I'm just one chapter in yours. There'll be more. I promise. So here it comes, the big one. Don't be afraid to fall in love again. Watch out for that signal, when life as you know it ends.
P.S.
I will always love you.
All of his letters.
You sat on your living room floor with a glass of wine on his birthday. This letter you hadn’t opened months prior, wanting to save it for his special day. He would have been thrity–three. You stare at a framed photo of Terry in his MCMAP attire surrounded by recruits with a big smile and a sweaty face. You’d cut your hair and got a couple tattoos honoring him. One of which was on your butt. That made you giggle. Maybe you would fall in love again someday. Maybe not.
There’s only one Terry Richmond.
Grabbing a pen, you open a notebook and start writing your own letter. It was more so for closure. When you think of Terry now, you smile and reminisce on what it felt like to be with him. You cherish the memories and created new ones.
Dear Terry,
you said you wanted me to fall in love again... And maybe one day I will, but there are all kinds of love out there. This is my one and only life... And it's a great and terrible and short and endless thing... And none of us come out of it alive. I don't have a plan except that it's time my mom laughed again. She's never seen the world. She's never seen The Botanical Garden, so I'm taking her there to where we started. Maybe now she'll understand. I don't know how you did it, but you brought me back from the dead. I'll write to you again soon.
P.S.
Guess what.
The End

Talented Fingers: J.Y
SMUT | 18+ | MDNI
I very much over use “fingers” in this because my brain started to malfunction

You love your boyfriend's hands and he knew all too well. You love his long fingers and the way his veins pop when he's playing. He could feel your eyes on him, even from the crowd, even when he was lost in each note. Your eyes burn with passion as you watch his fingers dance along the keys and you cannot wait until you can get him alone. You weave your way through the many moving bodies backstage, eager to get your hands on your lover. Not looking where you were going you bump into someone's hard chest "Oh! Sorry San." He waves you off with a smile turning to talk away before you stop him "Wait. Have you seen Yunho? I can't find him anywhere" "I saw him walking down the hallway over there" San points. You thank him before quickly walking off.
You walk down the hallways calling out for your boyfriend. You don't notice the door that opens ever so slightly and the hand that reaches out. A yelp leaves your lips as you're dragged into a small dark closet "Yunho what the fuck" You say hitting his chest lightly trying to get your heart rate down "Sorry. I didn't want anyone to know we're here" He whispers his hands caressing your arm. Your eyes start adjusting to the darkness and you see his tall form right in front of you "Was a really good show tonight. You were really something out there" you praise, your hand sliding down his chest "Oh yeah?" His hands slide from your arms to your hips, giving them a little squeeze "Mhm" "Interesting. You know it was pretty hard for me to focus with you eyefucking me the whole show" You hold back a laugh "Well I'm sorry that I was imaging the way your fingers would feel inside of me instead of on those keys." He’s quiet for a moment before pushing you against the door and kissing you needingly.
His lips move feverishly against yours and his fingers brush over your clothed heat, the thin lacy fabric doing nothing to hid the wetness. You moan against his lips when his fingertips drag against your sensitive nub "Sh. Don't wanna get caught" he pushes your panties to the side sliding through your slick. You let out a little gasp when you feel one of his long digist slide into your welcoming hole. "More. Please Yunho more." He loves to hear you beg, so desperate for him and who is he to deprive you. He adds another finger and you whine at the stretch “Taking my fingers so well” he mumbles against your lips. His fingers slid in and out with ease and the lewd sounds that filled the small closet had his pants grown painfully tight. Your head is fuzzy only able to focus on the way his long digits feel and the was his lips move against yours, muffling any noises that come out. The pads of his fingers rub against your sweet spot over and over "That's it love, cum all over my fingers" You groan into the kiss, grabbing onto his wrist as you felt body jolts and your orgasm washes over. His fingers continue to move in and out of your clenching hole, working you through your release. Your head leans back against the door and he leaves his hand where it is “So..? Was it everything you imagined?” His tone is serious but even in the dark you can see him smiling

𝟏𝟎:𝟓𝟑 𝐏𝐌. i anxiously stared at the time on my phone. it has almost been an hour and paige still hasn't shown up. tonight is my birthday, she promised she'd show up after she washed up from tonights game.
i'm looking around as my friends converse around me in my apartment. my roommates have already questioned me on the absence of my girlfriend. i wish i knew why she wasn't here either.
i enter the passcode to my phone in a hurry as i pull up her contact and type out a message.
Paige 💜🫶
hey, where are you? everyone’s asking about you... are you on your way?
i'm so sorry, babe. i can’t make it.
what?
i know, i know. I feel awful about it, but something came up the team wanted me to come celebrate tonights win with them
its my birthday paige you promised you would be here. going out with the team is suddenly more important than your girlfriends birthday?
it's not just "going out". it's to celebrate tonights win, and it's kind of a big deal. if i don't show up, it could look bad. i don't want to let them down, you have to understand.
no paige, i don’t understand. I’m standing here, surrounded by my friends, and i have to keep making excuses as to why you’re not here. do you know how embarrassing that is? to not have my own girlfriend show up to celebrate my birthday??
i'm sorry, okay? i’ll make it up to you. i’ll take you out somewhere nice tomorrow just the two of us, yeah?
no paige it’s not about “making it up.” it’s about showing up when you say you will. but you NEVER do.
that’s not fair. you know how much pressure i’m under i just want to celebrate the win, look i'll make it up to you tomorrow i promise.
paige i am so tired of this. seriously, you keep making empty promises, you get my hopes up only for you to tell me a half assed excuse that you pulled straight out of your ass last minute.
please don’t do this right now. i’ll call you after i leave.
don’t bother, we're done.
what??

what do you mean were done??

two years. 730 days. i lost her two years ago today, i lost it all. i know it was my fault, i put everything above her and i deeply regret it. now i have to live life in regret watching from the sidelines as she celebrates her birthday once again. this time, with her girlfriend.
her laugh filling the air knowing i used to be the cause of that laughter. admiring her from across the bar, sitting in between my teammates as they make conversation yet i can't bring myself to take my eyes off of her.
i scan ever inch of her body my eyes stopped on her wrist, then her fingers, then her neck. every single piece of jewelry i got her, gone. none of it in sight as if it never existed.
a hand on her thigh from a woman who was a copy of me. blonde, blue eyes, tall, and she plays soccer. but its not me. it will never be me again.
i can't even blame her, thats why i hate it. i hate that i can't hate her no matter how hard i try because in the end i will always love her and it will always be her.
even if i'm not her happy ever after. i distract myself trying to find someone new but it never ends well. i always find similarities between the girls i've gone on dates with and her. thats what attracts me to them, the fact that they slightly even look like her. but they will never compare to her full look, no one will.
so for the rest of time ill find myself watching from the sidelines seeing her take on life with someone who isn't me by her side, someone who looks like me but is not entirely me.
it will always kill me, it's going to eat me alive till i die. knowing that i'm not hers anymore, i won't be looking for her in the student section knowing shes there. instead ill be looking for her in the student section in hopes she decided to show up, but i know she didn't. she's going to be in the student section of the soccer games watching and cheering on her.
i won't be able to buy her flowers anymore, instead i watch as she gets gifted flowers by another woman. except those aren't her favorite. they're the wrong flowers.
i wont be able to buy her the perfume she always wears when it runs out, her signature scent that i always loved. instead i watch as she gets gifted perfume by another woman. she sprays it into the air and by the time it reaches where i sit i know its not the one she loves. its the wrong perfume.
i won't be making late night sephora trips, picking out her favorite makeup products when shes running low. instead i watch as she gets gifted makeup by another woman. its the wrong brand.
because of my mistakes, ones that i regret so deeply, i now live with the gnawing feeling knowing that she now loves a woman who doesn't pay attention to small details and gifts her all the wrong things, on her birthday of all days, but she showed up. i didn't.
clearly i lacked attention to detail as well if i couldn't see how much i truly disappointed and hurt her and didn't even show up. i wish it went down differently.
every shooting star, every coin toss into a fountain, every time the clock hits 11:11, every fallen eyelash, every dandelion, my last two birthdays, my only wish was to have her back.
but i cant.
not anymore.
and it hurts.
i open up my phone clicking on her contact, i type out one last message, even if i know she won't ever get it. i type it out and send it as some type of closure.

Holiday Vlog 🎄✨️
Barca Boys x Youtuber!Reader
Summary: You do your yearly Holiday Vlog, but this time you have a special guest.
Warnings: cursing, christmas celebration (for those who don't celebrate)
Pedri
"Okay, so the set is not the usual." You say, stating the obvious. "We are in my car, and we are going to my boyfriend's house to prepare some Christmas dishes." You explain.
You check if you have everything for the dishes you promised Pedri to do with Fer and him. You were going to make cookies, banana bread, Rosy's recipe of a canarian dessert, and more.
"So I have everything we need, I'll just need willingness from my boyfriend to be able to cook four Christmas dishes." You chuckle.
You talk about your adventure buying everything. Basically doing a voice-over because you'll place some clips over the voice.
You call Pedri as you are outside his house. He and Fer walk out to help you bring the ingredients inside and to the kitchen.
"Ven aquí." Pedri says, leaving the things in the counter and then turning to you to give you a hug. "Ready to spend the best christmas ever?"
You nod, giving him a kiss. "Are you ready to be my vlog partner?" You ask, separating and pointing at him with the camera. "Some words, pepi?"
He thinks for a while. "We are going to make banana bread, and we are going to kiss under the mistletoe." He smiles, giving a thumbs up.
You chuckle, putting the camera down and giving him a kiss. "Te amo."
"Yo más." He smiles and goes back to your lips. "Let's make some yummy dishes."
You organize the ingredients in his kitchen. Fer printed out some steps on what to do, you'll edit the clips to make them look aesthetic.
"Do we need to not mention something or what?" He asks, looking at you while you positipn the camera.
"You can say all you want, I'll edit it out." You smile. "Ready?"
He nods, positioning next to you on the frame. "Do I have to say something?"
"Want to say hi and tell what we are doing?" You ask, pressing recording.
He blushes lightly. "Vamo' a hacer pan de platano, unas galletas y vamos a hacer un postre canario que los va a dejar niquelaos." (We are going to make banana bread, cookies, and a canarian dessert that is going to make your brain blow)
You smile. "We are going to begin with the banana bread." You smile. "Thankfully, Pedri's brother Fer printed us the recipes with very detailed steps."
"Perfecto!" He says. "And we have the famous platanos de Canarias." He shows them. "I got them for free." He laughs.
You giggle. You start to read the instructions, following the steps with him. Pedri was so enthusiastic about it.
You two make all the recipes, taking a good time but being happy about being able to make it together and to be spending quality time together.
"We are going to load the dishwasher and wait for everything to cool." You smile. "Thank you, guys. I love you all. Pedri and I wish you a happy holiday and to those who celebrate a merry christmas."
You turn the camera off, taking the break time to charge the battery. You help Pedri load the dishwasher and place some clean dishes in their respective areas.
You feel two cold hands and a kiss on your neck. "Do you want to order some food and maybe watch something while we wait?" He asks, giving you more kisses.
You say yes to him. He grabs your hands and walks with you to his room. His parents are in Tenerife, and Fer is busy playing.
You order something and cuddle with him in bed. The movie and food were good. "Thank you for doing this vlog with me." You whisper, kissing his nose.
"Don't thank me." He giggles. "I love doing this stuff with you. Te amo."
"Te amo, Pepi."
Ferran
"Hola, Ferran here." He says into the camera. "And this is Y/n." He points at you.
You wave to the camera, hugging him by the neck and giving him a kiss. "Hi, guys."
"Today, we are going to buy some last-minute presents." He explains. "This happened because someone lost the gif-"
"He did." You interrupted him. "But we are not going to point fingers to anyone." You smile.
He scuffs. "Okay, so we are going to the mall, but before this is our outfit of the day." He smiles, placing the camera and getting a full picture of your outfits. "Go." He instructed you.
You smile at him, looking at him with lovey eyes. "I'm wearing a The North West jacket, I have Ferran's t-shirt under." You open your jacket a little, showing the t-shirt. "I have a pair of thermal leggings, some fuzzy socks from primark, and my boots are from ugg." You finish.
"My jacket is from Off White." Ferran says. "My polo shirt, same as my baby." He smiles to you. "Some cargos from I don't know and my jordans. I also will be wearing this over my mouth because I don't want to be recognized."
He grabs the camera, grabbing your hand and walking. He was loving taking over the vlogs, he loves being able to share more than he does in social media.
"We are going to get his sister and mother something and also we are getting a Christmas outfit for him." You say.
You two began your adventure with Ferran explaining everything you are doing. He likes taking the chance to make your channel his own.
"Pick this or that." He says.
You focus on the options. "That."
He makes a face. "Okay, this." He smiles, placing the item into the basket.
You move the camera to focus on yourself. "This is why I have trust issues." You pout.
You two move from buying the gifts to get his outfit. You explain to the camera that Ferran is someone who's very simple with his outfits, so this time, he allowed you to be the one to dress him.
"This is a, what is it called?" He asks you. "Impress dress." He says.
"Dress to impress, my love." You giggle. "Okay, so pick a store."
He thinks for a few moments, grabbing your hand and walking over to this store where you can get an ugly Christmas sweater.
"Do you want this?" You point to the sweaters. "Ferran, amor." You laugh.
"We can match ugly sweaters."
You nod, not wanting to end his happy grin. You search with him, he then sees something he likes.
"If I find your size, we are wearing this for Christmas night." He smiles.
You look at the ugliest sweater you have ever seen, but the way your boyfriend is smiling. You turn the recording back on, sighing.
"Guys, it seems like Ferran and I have our christmas outfits ready!" You say with a happy voice.
Gavi
"Do I look good?" He asks, checking himself in the small screen. "Is my hair alright?"
You smirk, h used to be so shy at the sight of the camera, and now he's used to it.
"You look good." You smile at him, fixing a string of hair that's looking weird. "I love the way your outfit looks, Pablito."
"We are matching." He giggles, hugging you by the waist. "What are we talking about in this vlog?"
"Just giving a small recap of our day, maybe a clip of us opening the gifts, and that's that." You explain. "Is that okay?"
He nods, understanding that you cut your vlog short because of him. Since you started dating, you changed your vlogging style. Trying to keep him out of it for the most part.
Pablo is not someone who likes cameras, even when his life revolves around cameras that picture hik from every angle while he plays.
He's not mad at the pictures you ask, and you keep to yourself or the memories you capture in video but never show to anybody.
He sometimes gets uncomfortable with the overexposure that people put him through, and he rejects the small moments you try to show him.
After some time, he got used to the idea of you being a vlogger. He likes the idea, actually. It was fun to see a recap of your day when he was away.
"Okay, my pumpkins," you say to the camera. "I'm over at my boyfriend's home. We are spending this Christmas together, and we have quite a tight schedule."
"Very tight." He remarks.
You chuckle at that. "And we are going to have dinner with his family, we will play some Christmas games and then open the gifts."
"Let's go eat," He shouts excitedly. "Vamoooos"
You show a very happy Gavi. You cut to the camera, walking with him to the kitchen. You charge the camera while eating with his family.
You have a nice talk with his parents and sister. You love them so much. Aurora and you planned on doing a small battle of building gingerbread houses.
You get everything set up. It was between Pablo Sr, Belen, Aurora, and you. Aurora's boyfriend, Pablo's grandma, and Pablo were the judges.
"Amor, come here." Gavi calls you. You see him with your camera on his hands. "We need to film this."
You smile at him, never thinking he would be the one starting the camera. "Pumpkins, we are doing this competition of building gingerbread houses." You explain. "Gavi, here. He's going to be the judge, and believe me when I tell you that he's not going to favor me."
He shakes his head no at your statement. "I'm a fair judge." He says, very serious tone.
You show the gingerbread building boxes, showing that each of them has a name. Gavi shows his family and asked them in a scale of 1 to 10 how confident they felt.
The competition began, you were never the best at building things, so obviously it was kind of messy.
Aurora, on the other hand, looked like an expert. Doing everything flawlessly. Your house was kind of tilted, and you can tell that it was not made with love.
After a fun, frustrating, but very full of love experience. It was time to judge. Gavi took the time to film the house and ask for an explanation.
"Y/n," He sighs. "Explain to us your very interesting architecture." He laughs.
"It's a modern and very revolutionary way of construction. Not for rockies." You joke.
The time of judging began, Gavi took the camera with him and filmed the audio of him and the judges picking the winner.
Obviously, it was not your almost destroyed house, you laugh when he offered you a peppermint candy as a consolation prize.
"If it makes you feel better, I voted for you." He smiles, hugging your waist.
"It actually makes it all better." You say, kissing him.
Fermin
Fermin is someone kind of shy. I think describing him is easy because he's not someone who's overly a sharer, but he's also not the shy and low profile guy.
When you explain to him that you were a youtuber and that you have a very successful vlogmas, that involved you doing different things during Christmas as decorations, gift shopping, outfits, different dishes.
He was confused because he didn't really got it. It was after that date that he ran home and searched your name in the YouTube search bar.
Your videos were very popular. It was a yearly series where you shared how you planned to decorate, how you were going to wrap your gifts, the usual.
He fell in love with how much you enjoyed doing these vlogs. At the same time, it was funny when he was away for games to see your vlogs and feel like he never left.
"This is the third time we tried to film this video, guys." You laugh. "The first time, Fermin lay down on the couch and fell asleep while I was getting the gifts."
"I love that couch." He says.
"The second time, we lost all the scissors. Turns out they were under the couch." You say, pointing at the different scissors.
"So, welcome to our vlog. Today, Fermin and I are going to wrap all the gifts we got for our family and friends."
"And before you say <oh, but what if they see it?> we got it covered, don't worry." He explains.
You love how he's now a vlog master, always taking over you when you needed the help.
"Okay, we have a dilema because my proposal was using the red wrapping for family and the green for friends."
"And I think that it's better if we do a white wrapping for family, green for close friends and red for other friends."
You two think for a while, you let him have his way and take his idea for wrapping. "We have two different wrapping paper of each color, so pick one."
"I want this for mom, this for dad and this for my brother." He says, picking one that is not even on the pile.
"That's not even an option." You say, pouting.
"Well, it is now." He smirks. Placing the wrapping out of your reach. "Pick yours." He says.
You do, picking the wrapping and selecting the gifts. You placed a lawyer of newspaper so the boxes weren't see-through, and you could show how you are wrapping the gifts.
You explained to Fermin how to do it since he had never wrapped anything before. It was a small tutorial for him.
Fermin was talking about a story of him and his family during the holidays. He was concentrated but also doing his storytelling job.
You were so happy to see him being so lost into the camera. He loved being with you at your daily vlogs, and he was from now on your new vlog buddy.
After a few tries and some not very cute wrappings, he grabs a small box, trying to be sneaky about it.
"Need help?" You ask him.
"No, no. Go back to your gifts." He says quickly, hiding the box. "No peaking." He says, pushing you to your side of the station.
You laugh at him, watching him being all secretive with what is obvious your gift. You let him do himself and finish his wrapping.
"Look, this one looks good." He says, proud of his very rough wrapped gift.
You clap your hands, happy for him. It was a hard-working wrapping, and you were not going to discourage it.
"Me encanta, Fer." You smile, grabbing his cheeks and kissing him.

Hello just someone who found your game a while back and loved it. Your work was really good at invoking the emotions from your audience, or at least it was effective at affecting me. Reading through it didn't feel like a chore and the prose flows smoothly. Also liked the Extras you made where it show enough of the RO to answer some question while leading enough mysteries to keep interest. Anyway just read through El's PoV and it was heartwarming, rage inducing, and despair provoking as I had imagined it would be. So good job on that part. So a question. How would the RO's react if they are in a relationship with MC and what happened to El happened to the MC? It could be the hypothetical timeline where MC and El never met, so MC became partners with the RO instead of El. It could be the scenario where they got together after El's death and that happened.
Hey there! I'm really glad you enjoy my works, especially knowing that I succeeded in conveying the emotions I aimed for!
L would be dead inside, drinking their sorrow and crying to MC night after night, hiding it behind jokes and charm around everyone. It's what they do best, right? Even when T tries to help, L would feel like a lost cause, assuring their kid they're alright with a smile that never reaches their eyes again—those gray eyes that hold no mischief anymore. Every person around them seems to leave, and they’d start to think it’s maybe their fault, as if they’re cursed to remain alone. They might even distance themself from T, scared that the same fate would befall their child.
Ekissa would shut themself off even more than before, becoming harsh and cold—even with family. They’d turn into one of those old grumpy people who prefer to be left alone. They wouldn’t feel like doing anything, just lying in bed, staring at the ceiling for hours, days, months. Their parents would force them to eat something, trying to help, but Ekissa would brush them off, snapping that they don’t need anyone to feel better. The thought of meeting new people would be repulsive; just the idea of it would make them want to hurl.
Athiel would continue their life, posing for magazines and overworking themself to the bone until there’s no room for pain. They’d do what they do best: hate everyone, hate themself, hate everything. Life would feel like a chore. Athiel would desperately try to bury the raw and merciless pain until all that remains is the façade of the arrogant model. But what nobody knows is that every single night, Athiel would sleep with MC's clothes to smell their scent, hoping that maybe it would help them dream of MC, to see them again, holding them.
T wouldn’t feel sad—not because their love wasn’t sincere, but because they don’t see death as something to be mourned. It’s all about perspective. Every little thing—like their favorite song playing on the radio, the small things missing in their house, every dream of MC—would feel like a sign that MC is waiting for them. T knows they will eventually reunite, and when they do, there will be so much to share. T would visit MC's grave every day after work, bringing flowers, cleaning the grave, and talking about their day with that small smile that makes their dimples appear.

HII HOW R U?? I was wondering if u could make a yandere caitvi x reader(like a poly relationship). Just headcannons if u like!! I really love ur postss💗💗
Yandere!Caitvi x Reader Headcanons
i’m great, tysm for requesting! sorry it’s taken me a while to get to this ^^
i was gonna add a section on how they kidnap you (figured i’d use it for a different fic) and an nsfw section but i didn’t know if anyone wanted that so i skipped it this time
HOW THEY MEET YOU
ok so vi is the one who notices you first - at first, you’re just another person who blends into the crowd at her fights
but then she begins to see you at every single fight of hers without fail, always with a huge handmade sign that says something like “step on ME, vi” or “vi, you’re the BEST!”
she thinks it’s endearing how someone like you, so unassuming and cute, is hanging around shady dens like this just to support her
you manage to catch her at the bar after one of her fights and you two strike up an unlikely friendship
she starts to fall head over heels for you - you don’t seem to care or even notice that she’s a mess
in fact, you’re hellbent on fixing her and she can’t help but have massive heart eyes at this point even though she’d normally find something like this demeaning (she doesn’t need to be saved!)
all her life, she’s chased after the people she loved and prioritised their well-being and now someone’s finally doing the same for her
you make her feel so seen at a time in her life when she feels incredibly lost and worthless
however it’s at this point vi leaves the fighting scene and reconnects with cait - you gave her the strength to do so
vi always feels guilty about this but you’re always in the back of her mind, a hopeful what if to ponder on the lonely nights after a lover’s quarrel with cait
so it’s nothing short of serendipity when cait starts to come home later and later, talking about a new recruit who has potential that needs to be nurtured and look at that - it’s you
cait knows she needs to be faithful to vi, she would never dream of going behind her back, but she’s drawn to you in a way that simultaneously confuses her and excites her
she becomes your mentor and sees parts of herself in you and that just makes her obsession infatuation that much worse
cait blurs the line between appropriate behaviour between a subordinate and their junior; she shows up at your door randomly for a “work assignment” and pries into the private details of your love life
if she finds out you’re dating someone or interested in someone other than her, your work life becomes a living nightmare
you’ll constantly be admonished for the tiniest infractions simply because she’s wants you all to herself and doesn’t know how to express her emotions in a healthy way
vi can’t even find it in herself to be jealous when she sees the lustre in cait’s blue eyes, one that’s only reserved for her, starts to come out whenever she’s around you but she does feel left out, after all, vi found you first
the two end up having a conversation and realise that they can’t live without you in their lives - all to themselves, that is
OK TIME FOR WHAT THEY’RE LIKE IN A RELATIONSHIP
honestly i think vi is the one you can wrap around your pinkie finger - she has such a soft spot for the people she loves and she’s not afraid of making it known
you want more treats? she’ll sneak them in
you want to go outside? ok, but vi is handcuffing you to her and you can only stay out for five minutes
surprisingly she respects your boundaries and tries not to be overly affectionate with you when you don’t want to be, even if it kills her inside
don’t think you can ask to talk to family and friends though, that’s completely off-limits and you will see a sadistic side to vi she doesn’t normally let out
i imagine her punishments would be something to the effect of her saying extremely cruel and upsetting things to you to remind you of your place
she would also be into physical punishments like spanking but not anything that could really hurt you - she would have a breakdown if she hurt you to the point of serious injury and would never forgive herself
cait on the other hand is essentially the “bad cop” in this scenario, it’s not that she doesn’t love you, in fact i would say she’s probably more obsessed than vi is, it’s that she doesn’t want to risk anything bad happening to you whatsoever
she went lax on punishing zaunites and it ended up with her mother dead - she’s not taking any risks when it comes to you
it harder to tell with cait but she does try to show her affection, it’s just not as obvious as the way she acts to vi
she does like to be physically affectionate with you more than vi does but this too is very subtle
she likes to make these actions seem like a necessity when really it’s for her own satisfaction
e.g. she’ll hold you hand and profess it’s because “you might fall over” even though you can see the faint blush on her cheeks - you’re both aware it’s a terrible lie but are equally too embarrassed to mention it
like in my other work, her shows of affection come from giving you books, painting lessons and expensive clothes, etc. - she wants to nurture your talents and expose you to the finer things in life that you’ve missed out on
she lowkey has a superiority complex when it comes to this lmao but i think she does it all to mask her deep insecurities
she doesn’t want to seem weak in front of her darling
her punishments are more harsh. i feel like she would put you in isolation and leave you hungry if you refuse to abide by her or vi’s rules
i hc that this stems from her childhood; her mother would withhold affection (maybe not to this extent) whenever she misbehaved and this way of thinking carried over to adulthood
this means that caitlyn and vi do tend to argue over what they think is best for you and it lowkey gives divorced parents energy - they’re constantly trying to prove themselves right
it’s a very volatile environment to be in
imo this is kinda cait and vi’s way of flirting too 😭 in the aftermath they look back on it like ‘awww she cares so much about our darling she’s willing to fight over them - so cute!’
their relationship stays mostly the same as it was before just a lil more intense
they’d both be yandere for each other, it just manifests a lot more strongly with you
like, they know they can look after themselves but you’re so weak they need to go above and beyond to ensure their most precious darling is safe
they both plan detailed daily routines for you and you’re micromanaged down to the smallest details: how long you can sleep for, the food you eat, the exercises you do, the clothes you wear, the people you can interact with
in my mind, this takes place at the end of s2 so you live with them in cait’s mansion - they’ve both experienced a LOT of trauma which contributes to them developing a codependent relationship and having to drag someone else into their mess
it’s definitely a stifling relationship and it feels like you’re never truly alone, if for some reason they can’t be there with you there’ll always be a trusted maid or enforcer keeping tabs on you
omg wait they definitely give you a diary and say it’s private but at the end of the night they’ll read through it to see if you’re planning anything they wouldn’t agree with
cait came up with the idea and vi thinks it’s a violation of your privacy but she goes along with it anyway
would never admit it but secretly it’s her favourite time of the day (if she respects your physical boundaries, she’s gotta break some other boundaries - give her a break!)
they just want to patch up the pain they feel from all the losses they’ve had to deal with and unfortunately for you, you’re their bandages
masterlist

even more caitvi / violyn because i’m bored !! fair warning i’m SO tired so these will be incoherent
warning, spoilers up to act three season two, NSFW after the big warning, and mentions of alc + w33d
SFW
• I see a lot of people saying Vi would smoke, but I fear Caitlyn could also be a bit of a stoner. She was insanely nervous when Vi got her to try smoking, but after her first time taking an edible and getting in a bubble bath with a book? She’s relaxed, that’s her new favorite little thing.
• Vi quit drinking after her underground fighting time. She doesn’t like how it makes her feel, especially as she’s been trying to develop more healthy coping mechanisms for stress.
• Caitlyn gets jealous. It’s harder to tell, as when Vi gets jealous— which is much rarer than Caitlyn— she tends to be very obvious. Grabbing Caitlyn’s waist, the obvious comments of “MY girlfriend”, maybe even straight up PDA. But Caitlyn? Oh, you looked at Vi the right way and all of the sudden Caitlyn is plotting your downfall. She doesn’t share well, at all.
• Random less wholesome one because I like hurting people emotionally; when Caitlyn got out of surgery for her eye— considering she lost it, there must’ve been some sort of surgical process post stabbing— she didn’t call for Vi or Jayce like expected. She called for her mom.
• Vander used to just yank his kids around, so the kids did it to each other too. Not in any bad way, just scruffing them or pulling them over his shoulder with no hesitation. Vi didn’t notice most families didn’t do this until the first time she wanted to show Caitlyn something in the other room and decided to just yank her out of her seat and carry her into the other room.
• Vi and Caitlyn would SO have a dog. 100%. There’s no disagreements there, but on the name? A huge disagreement. Caitlyn wants to name it a cute person name, while Vi wants to name it something stupid. They both train it to respond to their name. This dog ends up named like, Florence but also replies to Microwave.
• Given the amount of explosions they’ve both been in proximity to, they both have wonky hearing. They’re either always super close to hear each other properly or kind of shouting and not realizing it.
• Vi gets more piercings. 100% would.
okay freaky time, warning we’re lowk getting nasty in a good way
NSFW
• I need to elaborate on the Vi bites thing because I’m so sure it’s true to me. She’s biting Caitlyn’s shoulder anytime it’s exposed. Biting her fingers whenever they’re near her mouth. Biting down on her thighs. Everything. She grins like a smug idiot whenever she sees Caitlyn with teeth marks.
• Similarly, Vi is a hickey leaver. She takes it as a challenge whenever she sees Caitlyn try to cover up a love bite.
• Caitlyn tried to do a similar thing, leaving lipstick marks all over her face to embarrass her, but she was proven to be an idiot for that when Vi proudly showed everyone what her girlfriend did.
• Vi would SO be a strap user I fear, and she treats it like it’s her own. I know a lot of people hc the hex strap as feeling like it’s an actual appendage for the user, but if she’s using that or not, Vi is 100% using that shit like she can. Now I can’t stop imagining Cait giving her strap head SORRY IM A FREAK
• Vi tried to tease a few times, but Caitlyn was somehow even more patient than her and cracked before she did.
• Caitlyn used to think she’d always be solely into very pre-planned sex— think candles, already having a plan of what she’d do beforehand, never spur of the moment— but Vi quickly changed her mind. Before Vi, she usually had to spend a bit of time before any hook up trying to make herself get worked up, but with Vi? She could see her in her pajamas, half brushed hair, just grinning at her in a certain way, and she’s jumping on her.
• Vi lowkey seems like the type to lick her fingers after ✌️.

Sweet temptations||Charles Leclerc x fem!reader
Summary — Charles has been having dark thoughts lately about marking the reader any way he can.
Warnings — allusions of smut Charles masterbating cum eating and food play?
Word count—3472
This was posted on my account that I deleted and I’m reposting it because y’all loved it
The smell of vanilla and cinnamon filled the small apartment, warm and inviting, like stepping into a dream. You stood at the kitchen counter, sleeves rolled up and flour dusting your hands and apron. The soft hum of a playlist played in the background as you worked, lost in your world.
Charles leaned against the doorway, arms crossed, his gaze heavy on you. He had no intention of interrupting. He preferred watching. There was something hypnotic about the way you moved—measured and precise, yet effortless. You tucked a stray strand of hair behind your ear with the back of your wrist, leaving a faint smudge of flour on your cheek. He resisted the urge to smile.
You were so unaware of him, so utterly absorbed in your task, and that was exactly why he couldn’t look away.
The bowl of dough in front of you had taken shape under your hands, soft and pliable, your fingers kneading it with a practiced rhythm. Charles’s jaw tightened. He shouldn’t let his thoughts wander like this—he knew it. But as he watched your hands press and fold the dough, his mind drifted to how they might feel on him. How you might look beneath him, fingers gripping his skin with the same urgency.
He swallowed hard, shoving his hands into his pockets.
You turned slightly, reaching for the rolling pin on the counter, and the angel gave him a clearer view of the curve of your waist, the way your apron tied snugly around you. His mind painted an image uninvited, darker, and more vivid than it should have been. He could see himself behind you, his hands replacing the fabric, holding you still, claiming you.
Charles exhaled sharply through his nose and shifted his weight, trying to shake the heat building in his chest. This wasn’t the time, and certainly not the place, but the thoughts crept in, unbidden. A part of him hated how easily you did this to him—how effortlessly you consumed him without even knowing.
You were mixing up some icing in a bowl for something Charles couldn’t remember. He watched as you dipped your finger into the bowl of sweet cream and moaned at the taste. The sound and action made him twitch in his pants.
“Charles?” Your voice broke the silence, soft and curious.
He straightened, masking his thoughts with a lazy smile. “Hmm?”
“Do you want to taste the filling?” You held out a spoon, a dollop of sweet cream sitting atop it. Your smile was innocent, and trusting, and it only made his chest tighten further.
He stepped forward, taking the spoon from your hand. His fingers brushed yours, and you glanced up at him, a faint flush creeping up your neck.
“Tastes perfect,” he said, his voice low. The words were simple, but the way he looked at you—intense, unblinking—made you swallow hard.
You turned back to your baking, missing the way his eyes lingered on you, darker now, his thoughts anything but innocent.
The silence in the kitchen was thick and heavy, filled with an undercurrent of tension that was nearly tangible. Charles leaned against the counter again, watching intently as you returned to your work. He feasted his eyes on the curve of your hips, the way your hair fell in soft waves across your shoulders, and he was suddenly very much aware of how small the kitchen was.
“You’re distracting,” he said, his voice a low growl.
You looked over at him, arching an eyebrow, but your hands stayed busy, rolling out the dough with practiced ease. “Distracting?” you repeated.
Charles pushed away from the counter, closing the distance between you in a few long strides. He stood behind you, so close that you could feel the warmth of his body against your back. His fingers skimmed your side, tracing a slow trail of fire along the curve of your waist.
“Yes, distracting,” he said, his breath warm against your ear. “You have no idea what you’re doing to me right now, do you?”
You tensed at his words, a shiver running down your spine. It was one thing to imagine, but having him here, so close to you, with desire so evident in his voice, was a completely different beast. You could feel it too, that raw, animalistic pull, the way it made your heart race and your thoughts blur.
“And what exactly am I doing to you?” you asked, trying in vain to keep your voice steady. But his fingers were still on your hip, his touch sending sparks across your skin.
Charles' hand slid around your waist, his grip firm as he pulled you against him. Your breath hitched as your back met his chest, his body a wall of heat and muscle. His chin brushed the side of your neck, sending another shiver through you.
“You're making me want things,” he murmured against your skin, his lips skimming over your pulse point. “Things I shouldn’t be thinking about.”
You could feel his words against the sensitive skin of your neck, each syllable a burning caress. Your eyes fluttered shut for a moment, and you fought the urge to melt back into him. But you had to keep some shred of control, some shred of sanity.
“And what things are those?” you managed to ask. Your voice was breathless, your body responding to his touch despite your best efforts to remain unaffected.
Charles chuckled, the sound low and gravelly. His thumb traced soft circles on your hip, his other hand snaking beneath the loose fabric of your shirt. “You want to know?” he asked, his touch moving to the bare skin of your stomach.
His lips drifted along the line of your jaw, his teeth grazing your ear lobe, and you couldn’t stop the soft gasp that escaped you. “Or should I just show you?”
Your body was a livewire now, thrumming with heat and anticipation. You were acutely aware of every inch of his skin against yours, the press of his chest against your back, the hardness of his thigh against your leg. His touch was a slow, deliberate assault on your senses, designed to wear down your resistance.
“Show me,” you whispered, your head tilting back to give him better access to your throat.
Charles' grip on you tightened visibly, a low growl rumbling in his chest. Your request was all the permission he needed. He spun you around, the movement so fast and unexpected that your back met the counter with a soft thud. He was between your legs in an instant, his hands going to your hips to hitch you higher onto the countertop.
His body was flush against yours now, his hands roaming freely over your torso, up your back, down to your thighs. His lips found your neck, his teeth sinking into the sensitive skin just below your ear. You let out a choked moan, your hands moving to grip his shoulders. You could feel hardness press against you, and it only fueled the heat that was building within you.
“You have no idea the things I’m dying to do to you right now,” he murmured, his hands tracing a scorching path up your sides. His lips moved down your throat, leaving a trail of open-mouthed kisses in their wake. “The way I'm holding back from just... taking you right here, on this countertop.”
His words were like sandpaper against your already unraveling restraint. You could feel the heat pooling low in your belly, the ache between your thighs growing sharper with every touch. Your hands slid into his hair, holding him close as he continued to worship your skin with his lips.
His breath was hot against your skin as he spoke, his words punctuated by another sharp bite at the base of your neck. His hands had found the hem of your shirt, and he was slowly working it up, exposing more and more of your skin to the air.
“Is that what you want?” he asked, his voice rough against your ear. “For me to take what I want, to let go of all this...” He paused, his tongue tracing a wet trail along your collarbone. “...this restraint?”
You couldn’t form a coherent response, your mind a maelstrom of need and desire. But you didn’t need to—he could see it in your eyes, the way they darkened as you looked at him, the way your breath hitched with every touch. You nodded, a silent admission, and that was all he needed.
He tugged your shirt over your head, discarding it somewhere on the kitchen floor. His hands were immediately on your bare skin, his touch possessive, hungry.
He claimed your mouth in a fierce, demanding kiss, his tongue pushing between your lips. The kiss was all raw, unbridled need, and it sent heat flaring through you like wildfire. His hands roamed freely over your body, his palms leaving a trail of fire in their wake. Everywhere he touched, you felt branded, marked as his.
——
A couple of days later Charles still had that insatiable itch inside him. He was sitting on the couch trying to watch a movie that he had forgotten the plot of due to an even more one that replayed in his mind.
Charles couldn't focus. He had spent the past few days trying to keep his desire for you under control, to keep himself from giving in. But his body had other ideas, and the more time passed, the stronger the urge became. He found himself constantly thinking about you, imagining the feel of your skin against his, the sounds you'd make as he teased you to the edge. How he had he way with you on the kitchen counter.
He shifted on the couch, his body thrumming with unreleased tension. The movie played in the background, an unintelligible buzz in his ears.
With a muttered curse, he grabbed the remote and shut off the television. The silence of the living room was suddenly deafening, and it only seemed to amplify the thoughts swirling in his head. He leaned back against the couch, scrubbing a hand over his face. He needed a distraction, something—anything—to keep his mind from wandering back to you.
But his mind had other plans. It flashed through image after image of you, each more vivid and tantalizing than the last. He could almost feel your hands on him, your lips on his skin, your body pressed against his.
Charles was now painfully hard; he groaned and let out a cuss palming himself through his pants. If you had been home at that moment he would have you on your knees with you sucking him off.
The image that flashed into Charles' mind at that moment was nearly his undoing. He could almost feel your lips around him, the heat and suction driving him to the brink he gritted his teeth, his hand still moving against the growing bulge in his pants. He closed his eyes, letting the thought wash over him, his breath coming in labored gasps. But it was just a tease, a mockery of what he truly craved. He needed you, and he let his hand drop, his body taut with restraint. He couldn't give in, not this easily, but the thought of you kept pushing to the front of his mind.
Several long moments had passed before his train of thought was broken by the sound of his phone pinging. Sighing he picked up the phone and saw that he had gotten a message from you asking him to take the leftover icing out of the fridge so it would be room temperature for when she got home to use it.
Charles groaned as he read your message. It was like a splash of cold water on his already overheating mind. Taking the icing out of the fridge? Really? That was all you had to say to him after he had been tortured for days with thoughts of you?
He stood up and headed to the kitchen, irritation seeping into every step. Why did you have to make this so difficult? Why did you have to be so damn tempting all the time?
He opened the fridge and grabbed the bowl of icing, setting it on the counter with a clunk. He knew he was being unfair—you had no idea the effect you had on him, after all. But it didn't stop the frustration from building within him.
He leaned against the counter, staring at the bowl, his mind once again drifting back to you. A few hours ago he had been picturing your lips on him, and now he was taking icing out of the fridge like some whipped, lovestruck fool.
Sighs, running a hand through his dark hair in frustration "Get it together, you big baby," he mutters to himself, pacing around the kitchen. The icing sits innocently on the counter, reminding him of how sweet you are both literally and figuratively.
He glances at the icing, the memory of your hands mixing and stirring it together drifting through his mind. Your face is the picture of concentration, your tongue stuck out between your teeth as you work.
He groans again, his body reacting involuntarily to the memory. Why did you have to be so damn adorable? And why did he have to be so damn attracted to you?
He strides over to the bowl of icing, grabs a clean spoon, and scoops up a generous dollop. He hesitates for a moment, the spoon hovering in front of his lips as he battles with himself. Finally, with a muttered curse, he shoves the spoon into his mouth, letting the sweet icing melt on his tongue.
As the sugary sweetness melts on his tongue, he swears he can almost taste your lips instead. He imagines licking the icing off your fingers, your face, your neck... He swallows hard, the spoon clattering back into the bowl.
What started as a pretty innocent thought turned into something darker: the image of you covered in the sticky sweet substance was replaced by something more…darker.
Surely he couldn’t do that? Could he? No, he wouldn’t.
And yet he pulled out his phone and looked at your location. You were 10 minutes away from home. That was enough time.
Acting quickly he brought the bowl closer to the edge of the counter pulled out his hard length and began to stroke himself thinking about the other day.
The memory flashed through his mind the way he pushed you back onto the counter, the way he got down on his knees kissing his way up to your sweet dripping cunt. He almost could taste you on his tongue. He sees you knocking the bowl of flour off the counter causing a mess on the floor as you grind your cunt against his face.
Charles lets out a deep groan as his hand tightens around his shaft. The mental image of you on the countertop, your taste on his tongue, was enough to send his body into overdrive. He had to have you.
He glanced at the clock on the wall, his fist pumping faster. You were going to be home in five minutes, and he needed to get this out of his system before you got there. But at the same time, he wanted you to catch him. He wanted you to see what you did to him, how much control you had over his body and mind.
He pushed away the thought. This was just an outlet, a way to ease the pressure that had been building inside him. He couldn't risk letting you know how desperate he was for you.
He shut his eyes tight, losing himself in the sensation of his hand and the images in his mind. You were coming home to a sticky mess, and all he could do was imagine how you’d react. You’d be mad, for sure, but you’d also be so damn hot. And the thought of you, angry and frustrated with him, yet still so unbelievably turned on. With a groan his release welcomed him and with a few sloppy strokes, he finished.
He leaned against the counter, breathing heavily, as his mess mixed with the icing in the bowl. The sight of it was a stark reminder of what he had just done—of how far he had gone, all because of you. But before he could dwell on it further, he heard the sound of a car pulling into the driveway. You were home.
A mixture of panic and excitement shot through him, and he quickly tidied himself up, zipping his pants back up and grabbing the spoon he stirred up the icing hiding the evidence of his release. He could hear the sound of you coming in through the front door, your keys jangling in the lock, and his heart rate spiked.
"Charles? I'm home!" he heard you call out, your voice echoing through the house. Charles took a deep breath, trying to force himself to look normal, to sound normal.
"In the kitchen," he called back, praying that his voice didn't betray the nerves and desperation he was feeling. A few moments later, you appeared in the kitchen doorway, your eyebrows furrowing as you took in the state of him. He knows what he looked like—flushed cheeks, disheveled hair—but he tries to play it cool.
"Hey," he greeted, his voice casual. "You're back early." You nod, setting your keys and bag down on the counter, your eyes moving to the bowl of icing. "Yeah, I finished up at the shop earlier than expected," you explain, grabbing a spoon and dipping it into the icing. "How was your day?"
“It was fine” he said Charles can barely concentrate on the conversation, his eyes fixed on your finger as you lick the spoon clean. His body is still humming with leftover pleasure, and the sight of you is doing nothing to quell the flames of desire that are still burning in his belly.
“Mmmm,” you hummed at the taste.
“What is it?” Charles asked, looking at you curiously.
“I don’t know the icing it..it tastes different than it did the other day.”
Charles swallowed hard, his heart rate picking up. He knew exactly why the frosting tasted different, but he couldn’t exactly admit that to you.
"Must be the from sitting in the fridge for a few days," he said, trying to keep his tone neutral. "Sometimes the taste can vary slightly depending on the ingredients."
You nodded, taking another spoonful and studying it thoughtfully. Charles tried not to watch the way your tongue moved over the spoon, the way your throat bobbed as you swallowed. His body was reacting against his will, and he shifted nervously on his feet.
"Yeah, must be it," you say, taking another spoonful and holding it out to him, "here, try it."
Charles hesitates for a moment, his eyes locked on the spoon. If he ate that, he would be tasting not only the frosting but himself as well. But the temptation was too strong, and he leaned forward, taking the spoonful into his mouth. As the sweetness hit his tongue, it was mixed with a salty aftertaste that was unmistakably himself.
A shiver of guilt and pleasure ran through him, his eyes widening slightly as he swallowed. He forced himself to maintain eye contact with you, even though he was reeling from the combination of sensations.
"Tastes fine to me…" he managed to say, hoping that his voice didn’t give anything away. But he could see that you were still studying the bowl with a perplexed expression as if you knew something was off but couldn’t quite figure out what it was.
You take another spoonful of icing, bringing the spoon up to your lips and closing your mouth around it. Charles watches intently, the sight of your mouth wrapped around the spoon sending a jolt of heat through him.
"You sure it doesn’t taste different?" you ask, your tongue swirling around the spoon as you gather another mouthful. He swallows hard, his mouth dry. "Yeah, I’m sure," he says, his voice sounding strained even to his ears. "Just the same old icing we’ve always used."
But even as he says it, he can feel the guilt and arousal wrestling inside him, warring with each other for dominance. You shrug, taking another spoonful. "Maybe I’m just imagining things," you say, your voice nonchalant. “Well thank you for taking this out of the fridge for me I’m going to get to baking”
Charles gives a nod, forcing a smile onto his face. "No problem," he says, his voice strangled. "I’ll leave you to it."
As you turn away to start gathering baking supplies, Charles feels a wave of self-loathing wash over him. You’re completely oblivious to what he has done.

Do They Know It's Christmas?
Happy holidays, lovelies! And most importantly, happy noot fic exchange/ secret Santa to @itsaash --you're a legend, a sweetheart, and a friend I hold near and dear to my heart. I hope everyone is staying safe and sound! You've made it through the shortest day of the year; it's only up from here! Thanks to @veryspacecowboy for coordinating the exchange and @lumosinlove for the characters!
TW for implied smut and mild Vaincre spoilers
Here comes Santa Claus, here comes Santa Claus, right down Santa Claus Lane…
“Fourth line, take it left!”
…and all the fun we had last year…
“Good work, boys, remember we’re working clockwise.”
Run, run, Rudolph, Santa’s gotta make it to town…
“I know, I know, but we need to get that down before we break today.”
…come on, it’s lovely weather for a sleigh ride together with…
“Keep those crossovers clean in the corners, Sunny!”
…the very next day, you gave it away…
Arthur frowned at his clipboard. An ache had started up along the inner corner of his eye, and not even the steady working of his thumb brought relief. The song changed to something bright and tinny with silver bells; the things he would give for a nice, quiet O, Holy Night right about now. Something soft, with minimal jangling. A saxophone would be lovely.
They had a schedule. They always had a schedule. The boys were used to rotation exercises—he had even taken pity and not added anything new or complicated to the roundup. The whole damn thing was laminated and taped to the damn glass around the damn bench on both damn sides of the goddamn rink.
Arthur’s eyes ticked typewriter-smooth down the list, but his ears alone would have told him it was a lost cause. Messy crossovers. From Sunny. Crunchy, scratchy steps from skates of perfect sharpness. Low muttering, barks of laughter, rollercoaster-arcs of chatting when they were supposed to be focusing. Cap did his best, but Harzy looked about two laps from chewing his way out through the boards.
Well. It was almost Christmas. He could be kind.
The whistle broke through Brenda Lee’s second chorus; 20 heads popped up.
“Revision!” Arthur called across the ice, drawing a steady line through the end of his list. “Bring it in.”
Their rush to the bench was the cleanest they had sounded all day.
“We’re going to finish a little early today—”
A wave of cheers cut him off, then petered out at his unimpressed glance.
“We’re finishing a little early,” he repeated when the Christmas spirit had released their souls at last, leaving only a faint ringing in the upper levels of the bleachers. “Because I’m taking off the last rotation.”
Arthur slipped his pen back into the clipboard clamp. Olli raised a tentative hand. “So…we can go…?”
Arthur frowned. “What? No, we’re going ‘til noon, if you just—guys, the schedule is right there—”
“Nooo—”
“But Coach—”
“—Christmas!—”
“I haven’t even—”
“—been here so long—”
“—like you don’t even love us—”
“—mom’s gonna kill me if I don’t—”
Unbelievable. Simply beyond words. Arthur looked over Nado’s pleading hands, hoping for an ounce of solidarity from the one person besides himself who was literally appointed for this duty, and was met with only a beleaguered, whale-eyed stare in return.
Arthur raised his eyebrows.
Sirius gazed back.
For such a large person, he could really pull off ‘sickly Victorian child begging for gruel’ when he wanted to.
“Alright,” Arthur muttered. It was lost in the sea of writhing and wailing. “Alright!”
The team (finally) fell somewhat silent.
“I am very sorry,” he began, pausing to slide his clipboard onto the bench hook. Their anticipation was delicious. “That I assumed a group of grown men playing their favorite game for millions of dollars would be able to handle one morning practice for their last competition before a holiday break.”
Pots’ eyebrows pitched as if he had been stabbed. “But Coach, it’s Christmas.”
“It is December 22nd.”
“I haven’t even found something for my dad yet!” Walker piped in.
“Sounds like a personal problem with time management.”
Pascal—the traitor—shuffled on his skates. “I was going to make holiday cookies with my children,” he said sadly. “They grow up so fast. We might not have many years of it left.”
Arthur rolled his eyes. “I’m letting you go at noon, not locking you in here overnight. And I know you make cookies on Christmas Eve, because you put them on my doorstep every year.”
Pascal tsked, but didn’t deny it.
“You get cookies?” O’Hara perked up, craning his neck to look at Pacal. “How come we don’t get cookies?”
“Because I don’t need you to like me,” Pascal said with a smile.
“What if we need to catch flights?” Knut interrupted.
Arthur squinted at him. “Knut, we have a game tomorrow. You better not be going anywhere.”
“Well, no, but the sentiment stands.”
“No, it does n—you know what, fine, if you make it through…” Arthur leaned around the glass to squint at his beautiful, crisp schedule. “Your next two—TWO, I don’t wanna hear it—rotations before 11:30, I will let you out then.”
“And no lift tonight?” Kuny asked hopefully.
“Don’t push it.”
“Veto.”
Budding protests froze over in one collective puff of breath.
…the stars are brightly shining…
“What?” Arthur asked at last.
A thrill of hope, the weary world rejoices…
Sirius licked his lips, shifting from one foot to the other. “Veto.”
Arthur opened his mouth.
Closed it.
Every eye in the room was fixed on their captain. He rested his chin on top of his hands, folded on his stick. Lupin’s gaze flickered back and forth.
“But I…” Arthur faltered, gesturing at the schedule.
“I get three.”
“It’s not even 9:30.”
“No questions asked.”
“We have a game.”
“It’s snowing outside.”
“How do you know that?” Arthur asked despairingly.
A grin skipped across his face. “I’m Canadian. I can smell it a mile off.”
“Also, Tremzy texted everyone right before practice,” O’Hara added.
“It’s snowing, have fun at practice, you fucking losers, ha-ha,” Knut recited with a grave nod.
“No, no,” Sirius corrected. “My bones are made of snow and I was born with hockey skates in one hand and a thermometer in the other.”
“That, I believe.”
Arthur waved his hands between them before the already-unbearable situation could get any worse. “Let me just…” His headache was coming back. Going home early was starting to sound less terrible by the minute. “You, as captain, get three vetoes across the span of your contract.”
“Ouais.”
“Which you can use to veto any practice you want, for any reason, with no questions asked by me or other staff.”
“That’s what I signed, yes.”
“And you’re using it on a snow day? With barely two hours left of practice? Before a game and a week off?”
Sirius smiled. “Veto.”
“Lupin.” A last-ditch effort. Perhaps a dirty play, but it was warranted. “Lupin, don’t you have anniversary plans? Birthdays? Anything else he can use this on?”
The captain’s barely-contained mischief was bad enough. Lupin’s mild bemusement was worse. “I’m sorry, Coach, but I can’t question a veto from my captain.”
Arthur scanned the crowd of hopeful faces. Sometime in the last minute and a half, Knut had slipped his phone off the bench and was doing his best to text under Winter’s elbow. Kelly Clarkson sang along to his imminent defeat. He sighed, shook his head, and opened the gate. “I’ll see you tomorrow.”
Nobody moved.
Arthur blinked. “Merry Christmas?”
Not a twitch.
“Ho-ho-ho, get out.”
The dispersal was the most active they had been all day, surging forward in one mass of whooping red and gold. Out of the corner of his eye, Arthur saw Moody turn the music up a notch before hustling back into his office.
The herd had vanished down the tunnel in a matter of seconds. Arthur shook his head, turned his smile toward the empty rink, and pulled out his phone.
--
The locker room was a disaster.
“Don’t pull so hard!” Leo grunted as he fought to wriggle out of his jersey, hopping on one socked foot while Finn tried to help him out of his remaining skate. “I’m gonna fall, I’m gonna fall, Kasey—”
An elbow to the ribs righted him. “Yeah, no, I’m on my way out,” Kasey called over the ruckus, sandwiching his phone between his ear and shoulder. “Yeah, lemme get my shoes on. Al’s driving? Jesus, maybe I’ll just walk.”
“A tie is bad, right? That’s a bad gift?”
“T, I’m sure your dad will love anything you get him.”
“But I got him one for his birthday.”
Remus grimaced for just a moment, but it was enough. Thomas dropped his head into his hands with a groan.
“No, hey, it’s a good gift!” Remus tried, patting his shoulder. “Does he have a lot of ties?”
“He’s more of a sweater guy.”
“T.”
“I know, I know, I know.” Thomas sighed. His head fell back against his stall, then rolled toward Remus as his lip slid out in a pout. “I don’t even know where to start.”
Did Remus have to give him a minute with this one? He was a little afraid he did. “T,” he started. “Your dad likes sweaters.”
“Yeah.”
“So get him sweaters.”
“But what if he doesn’t like them?”
Remus took him by the shoulders and gave him a gentle shake. “He likes you.”
Thomas made a desperate sound and rolled his head the other way, then heaved himself upright. “I need to go outside. The cold clears my mind.”
“Way ahead of you!” Finn shouted over his shoulder, one hand clasped in Leo’s and the other on the doorknob with his skates teetering dangerously over his shoulder.
Leo hoisted their duffel bags, shuffling through the narrow doorframe with all the grace of a newborn giraffe. He gave them one last clumsy wave with a glove half-on. “Lo sends his love, even if he’ll never say it!”
“Yes, I’m coming,” Kasey laughed, presumably still to Natalie. He caught the door with his foot just as it was beginning to close; Remus grabbed the edge of it from him and waved off both his grateful look and mouthed thank you. “Yes, baby,” Kasey repeated. “Usual spot. On my way.”
It was a disaster, and then as fast as they had all tumbled in, everyone flooded out. A few of the newer guys remained, muffled by the hum of the showers. Dumo ruffled up Sirius’ hair as he passed, preoccupied by Celeste’s rapid-fire French on the phone and the hustle of his light jog. Remus was pretty sure he caught some mention of the park; there was one near their house with a pond that froze around this time of year. He was a little surprised Logan wasn’t already staking his claim on it.
Sirius’ arm was around him before he even started to sit. It made for the perfect guide and counterbalance, settling him firmly on a denim-clad thigh with a kiss to seal it in seconds. “Hey,” Sirius mumbled against his shoulder blade.
“Hi, trouble,” Remus laughed.
Sirius hummed, obviously pleased, and gave him a squeeze around the waist. “That felt good.”
“Using your powers for evil?”
“Mhm.” Another pulse, this time with a cheeky pinch to his hip. “And you.”
Remus scoffed, swatting at him, but couldn’t help leaning back into his warmth all the same. He was lucky Sirius couldn’t see the heat of his face, too preoccupied with nuzzling his way across the span of Remus’ back to leave a kiss at the top notch of his spine before burying his nose in the divot below. Odd creature, that one. Remus liked him far too much. “What are you doing?”
“You smell good.”
“I haven’t showered.”
“I noticed.”
Remus bit the inside of his cheek for a moment. He gave the room a cursory glance—the stragglers were just finishing up, too engrossed in whatever wisdom James was bestowing on them to notice the graze of Sirius’ teeth over the arch of his shoulder. “I was thinking,” Remus started, then lowered his voice. “Was thinking we could do it at home instead.”
Sirius’ smile pressed bright and devious to his skin. “Yeah?”
“Mm-hmm.”
“Am I invited?”
“Unless I’ve started using the royal ‘we’,” Remus teased, digging his elbow lightly back into the curve of Sirius’ rib.
His laugh was soft, but the pat to Remus’ outer thigh was perfectly heavy with promise. “Get your bag.”
News of their early departure had obviously reached the ears of the rest of the training staff, because the halls were stark in their emptiness on the way out, after many goodbyes to James and promises of dinner tonight. Remus had been dying for some actual holiday time—he had planned gifts months in advance, dedicated an entire Monday to wrapping, agonized over delivery times and game schedules and delays.
But he was craving the substance of it, the literal meat and potatoes of people coming over to ooh and aah at the ornaments over dinner by the fire. Most of all, he wanted some time that was theirs. A brief moment to enjoy the lights and the smell of fir with just himself, Sirius, and the dog. It had been…three weeks? More? Since they put the wreaths and boughs up around the house. He was pretty sure that was the last time they had been able to do holiday things that didn’t involve obviously sneaking off to get gifts for each other.
Sirius seemed to feel the same. They had hardly made it past the PT room before he was pulled into an empty hallway for a kiss that melted in his mouth like butterscotch. He hummed, pushing into it, but Sirius just took him by the hips and pressed him back against the wall. Okayokayokayokayokay came the giddy whirl of the end of his thoughts.
“This.” Sirius’ mouth moved against his jaw, threatening a mark above his pulse point. “This is what I was after.”
“Cancelling practice just to kiss me,” Remus said, breathless already. His throat caught at a flash of teeth under his ear. “So irresponsible.”
Sirius’ eyes were bright and playful. “And I’d do it again.”
They got away with another minute—or five—before footsteps sounded down the other hall. Remus took him by the hand and pulled him toward the parking lot at a brisk, tumbling clip, sneakers pattering on the floors Filch was waiting to wax until they were all gone for the break. Hooligans, he called them. It echoed in Remus’ head as he kissed Sirius stupid in the hall beside the display cases. If only he could see them now.
The air bit his face as soon as they stepped outside, hot and kiss-fresh. Remus could hear voices around the corner but Sirius’ hand was sliding ever-lower and he just—“There’s people!” he hissed, fighting his grin with a blind bat backwards.
Sirius was too fast. A firm grab made him hoot, startling a laugh from both of them. “The entire world has seen us making out in a car, loup,” he snorted. “I think that’s worse.”
It was only the Cubs, after all, and half a snowman wearing a disjointed collection of gear. Leo’s oh-so-subtle text must have done the trick to summon Logan out of his holiday relaxation. He had only flown in that morning after the Rangers’ last game, but he seemed plenty awake despite the journey.
“You’re making me cold just looking at you,” he argued, adjusting his beanie over Leo’s ears while Finn finished rolling the head beside them. “You’ve lived here for years, and still you forget a hat?”
“Merci, baby.” Leo tried to sound begrudging while he obediently bent to let Logan work, but it only came off as fond. Remus could relate.
“And Fish just lets you walk out of the house like this. Unbelievable. It’s snowing.”
“It wasn’t snowing when we left,” Leo pointed out. “I seem to remember a ha-ha, losers text informing us of the change.”
Logan’s tsk was sharp as black ice while he tenderly tucked Leo’s curls under the hat’s knitted edge and kissed each of his cheeks. “Completely frozen over,” he informed Leo. “You’re welcome.”
“Now you’re going to get cold.”
Whatever disbelieving expression Logan made was lost to Remus as Sirius ushered him around the back of the car, but his scoff was plenty audible. “I’m Canadian. I don’t get cold.”
Sirius’ forehead hit the steering wheel the moment their doors closed. “I want to be home,” he complained.
“You’re in the right place to get there.”
“I don’t want to drive.”
“I can do it.”
A pathetic sigh heaved his back and shoulders. “I don’t want to wait fifteen minutes.”
Remus tugged on the back of his hat. “Not that I’ll ever say no to a little New Year’s action, but I feel like we just covered why that’s not a great idea in broad daylight.”
Sirius groaned, grumbled, and turned the car on.
Between salt and the morning commute, the roads were mostly clear. The familiar crunch of snow under tires pulled half of Remus’ brain from the rink; the other half followed at a sluggish pace, coaxed away by radio carols and the mindless chatter the two of them somehow managed in spite of spending eighty percent of their time together. The window was cold on the side of his head. Remus never liked freezing, but there was something about a snow day that always felt like home.
The house lights cast red and green glimmers over Sirius when they pulled in. They were working on getting decorations he liked; things he actually wanted, not just what Instagram said he should use. It wasn’t a lot yet, but it was a start. The icicle lights above the door had been a particularly good find.
They were greeted by a loud bark and the scrabble of paws. Hattie careened around the corner from the living room (she had taken to dozing under the tree) and spun herself at their feet in a few tight circles for maximum petting efficiency.
“We’re home so early!” Sirius cooed, gathering her wiggly body up in his lap like she was still tiny. “Oh, you’re so excited. Did we surprise you?”
“We were so mean to poor Coach,” Remus agreed as he dodged her lolling tongue. “Yes, baby, so mean, but now we’ll be home all day.”
Hattie keened and whined and nibbled on everything in reach for a tolerable thirty seconds, then launched herself out of Sirius’ lap and made a beeline for her toy box. She had hardly made it halfway to them when a cardinal flitted past outside—her ears spiked up, body puffing on a low bwoof. Remus barely got the screen door open before she was off like a bird-seeking missile, cutting through the snow in leaps and bounds.
They dumped their gear in the mudroom, made a snack, planned lunch, played with the dog, dried the dog, cleaned her paws, and finally—finally—they were standing in the same room, with nothing to do for another hour at least.
“Hi,” Remus said, heart kicking.
Sirius smiled. “Hello.”
Hattie’s teeth squealed on her peanut-butter-filled toy.
They wasted no time for foolishness on the stairs. A sweater on the ribbon-wrapped banister; socks in the hall. Sirius’ pants didn’t even make it across the bathroom threshold, belt clattering on the floor. Remus turned the shower on with his eyes closed because he quite simply could not be bothered to spare more than one hand.
“C’mere,” he murmured into Sirius’ mouth, even as he stepped backward under the spray. “C’mere, don’t move.”
Sirius’ response was wordless and perfect.
Steam built around them, chasing off the chill. The house was decorated. The presents were wrapped. Meals were planned, the dog was busy, and Remus was tired but he was so, so awake now, with ink-black hair wound around his fingers and a boy that held him so the hot water never left him.
Sirius rested his head on Remus’ shoulder and went lax at the drag of a soapy hand over his back. “So good.” His mouth rested at the curve of Remus’ jaw. Every word cooled his skin. “So good to me.”
“Doing my best,” Remus joked with a scritch to his nape.
Sirius raised his head, blinking sleepily around the water that spilled down his face. “I don’t remember the last time I wasn’t scrambling for gifts this time of year.”
“I do.”
“Mm?”
“Last year.” Remus smudged a few soap bubbles down the bridge of his nose. “Shopping for you.”
Sirius’ forehead wrinkled. “Me?”
“I was being cranky,” Remus assured him, running his thumbs over Sirius’ collarbones. He didn’t have a lot of soap left, but he would be shameless and greedy about touching like this. “Lily knocked some sense into me.”
“She’s good at that.”
“The best.”
“And she’s lucky to have you.” A kiss pushed the side of his hair into a cowlick; Sirius grinned as he smoothed it down with one hand. “Trop mignon.”
Hot hot hot hot hot. Remus wrapped both arms around his waist and sank his teeth into the knot of soft muscle above Sirius’ heart. Sirius’ laugh jostled him, but that was fine. He was used to it. “I love the holidays with you.” One last little kiss to his neck, to the spot he had bitten the other night and made Sirius’ leg tremble. “I love you.”
“I’m going to veto every single practice forever.”
“No,” Remus laughed, swaying them back and forth. He covered Sirius’ wicked smile with his hand and kissed the back of it. “No, non, not allowed.”
“But I get kisses and showers and I love you’s and dinner—” His hands skimmed up and down Remus’ sides, running over wet skin with the expertise of someone who knew all his soft spots. “—and you bite me and our dog loves us and we get to see James and Lily tonight—”
Remus cut him off with his lips this time. “Your perfect day,” he whispered, though it was just them in the house. “Sounds pretty close to mine.”
“Copycat.”
“Maybe we should just stick together,” Remus offered. Sirius’ fingertips found his own, lacing together all too easily. “For maximum perfect-day concentration, you know.”
“Nothing else, of course,” Sirius agreed.
“Oh, nothing.”
“Hey.”
“Hi.”
“I put mistletoe above our bedroom door when we were decorating.”
“Amateur. I put it on the ceiling above our bed.”

You’re my ideal type
Summary: A video from a year ago of Oscar talking about his ideal type went viral, making his fans wonder why he chose his girlfriend. This leaves y/n with a lot of questions herself .
Note: First time writing for Oscar! I kinda went with the flow. Let me know what you think! 😌
Reader x Oscar Piastri
Genre: fluff/angst
It was a beautiful, sunny day in Monaco. I was out with two of my friends, enjoying brunch together and soaking up the good vibes.
We spent hours talking, laughing, and joking around—overall, it was a fantastic time.
Afterward, we decided to go for a stroll. That’s when we stumbled upon a gorgeous spot with an incredible view. For girls, that can only mean one thing: a photo session. And, of course, we took full advantage.
We snapped countless pictures of each other—exactly what I needed. I’d been wanting to update my Instagram feed, and I knew Oscar would appreciate a few of these too. A win-win situation if you ask me.
Hours later, we decided to head home. Parting ways was bittersweet, but we all had things to do.
When I finally arrived at the place Oscar and I shared, I immediately went inside, feeling my social battery completely drained.
I glanced at the clock and sighed. There were still a few hours to go before Oscar would be home. Feeling a little bored, I decided to tackle some household chores to pass the time.
Eventually, I finished everything and switched to full-on "bed rotting" mode. As I scrolled mindlessly on my phone, I remembered the stunning photos we’d taken earlier.
Sitting up, I started going through them, carefully picking out the best ones to upload to Instagram.

fashionistaformula I can't be the only one thinking about that one interview of Oscar?
paistryln481 You're not alone, every time I see her I keep thinking about it
foryoutt16 Wait what? I'm lost, what happened?
cocosainzyy55 @foryoutt16 An old interview of Oscar when he was still in F2 resurfaced and he was talking about his ideal type and the description he gave matches nothing to his current girlfriend. People are suddenly bringing this up again, wondering why he didn't choose his ideal type.
foryoutt16 Oh damn that's rough...
The comments and likes flooded in, as they always did. Sometimes, I forgot that I was dating an F1 driver—it came with its own kind of spotlight.
But as I scrolled through the comments under my post, a few things caught my attention.
One comment in particular stood out: something about an old interview of Oscar.
Confused and curious, I decided to look it up. Little did I know, I was about to regret it...
My stomach twisted into knots as I watched the video, realization sinking in. Oscar described his ideal woman, and her characteristics were unlike ones I possessed. I felt a wave of insecurities and doubts wash over me, each word a reminder of how I didn't fit the bill for his ideal partner.
My heart sank with every word he spoke, describing his ideal woman's qualities - and every one felt like another reminder of how far off the mark I was.
I couldn't help but wonder, "Why did he choose me?" His words stung, and I questioned whether he settled for less than his ideal because he didn't have better options.
On cue, as if the universe was playing a cruel joke, Oscar returned home and called out my name. His voice echoed through the hallway, a stark contrast to the turmoil churning inside me. I hesitated, a mix of fear and confusion gripping me, as I debated whether to face him with this newfound knowledge.
He entered the room with a warm smile, oblivious to the storm brewing inside me. He greeted me with a gentle kiss on the forehead before starting to speak in sweet words.
"Hey babe, how was your day?" he asked, completely unaware of the recent discovery I made.
I forced a smile, trying to hide the turmoil inside as I replied, "It was fine," my voice trying to mask the disappointment and insecurity that bubbled up.
The words left my lips, sounding hollow compared to the usual warmth in my tone.
Oscar sensed the hint of falsity in my fake smile. His observant nature picked up on the subtle cues of my distress, and he recognized that something was off. Yet, instead of immediately asking about it, he chose to hold off, observing to see if I would bring it up.
Oscar wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me closer. He kissed my temple gently, his touch providing a temporary sense of comfort.
He knew something was bothering me and chose not to press, offering a moment of respite instead. "Do you want takeout?" he asked, his voice filled with tenderness.
I replied softly, trying to match his tenderness, "Sounds good." Despite my conflicting emotions, I didn't want to dampen the mood by revealing my insecurities.
"Takeout sounds great," I said, attempting to sound cheerful.
Oscar reluctantly let go of me, reaching for the phone to place the takeout order. In his absence, I seized the opportunity to sneak a look in the mirror, as well as to search for pictures of Oscar's ideal type.
I scoured the internet, comparing every aspect of my appearance to the images of his ideal woman. The comparison fueled my insecurities, amplifying the feeling of not measuring up.
My tears threatened to spill as I stood there, comparing myself to Oscar's ideal, but before they could, I heard Oscar's voice calling out.
"Y/n baby, the food will be here in twenty minutes," he informed me. I swiftly wiped away the tears before responding, attempting to hide the vulnerability in my voice, "Okay, thanks for letting me know."
Splashing my face with water to compose myself, hoping to hide any traces of my tears and distress. With determination, I dried my face and returned to the room where Oscar was, trying to mask my vulnerability.
After the food came, we ate together. I was quiet, it was mainly Oscar talking which was odd because normally it was always me talking and he would listen. We were currently cuddled up together after eating
Despite our cozy cuddle on the couch, my mind was preoccupied with worries. Thoughts like "What if he leaves me?" and "What if I'm not good enough?" consumed me.
Oscar noticed my distraction and asked if I was alright, concern in his voice. I replied, "Just tired," and although he didn't fully believe it, he decided not to push further.
Oscar spoke up once more, his voice soft and reassuring. "Y/n?" he began, his eyes searching mine.
"You know I love you, right? If there's anything bothering you, you know you can tell me," he emphasized, his tone filled with patience and support.
I nodded, attempting to hide the depth of my worries and insecurities. "Yeah, I know. I love you too," I responded, trying to sound reassuring.
The words felt heavy, knowing the weight of my unspoken fears.
A few weeks had passed since that moment of insecurity, and I had been avoiding Oscar, even though we lived together. I had made excuses to skip every Grand Prix , claiming I was too busy with work.
Yet, here I was, facing the mirror on the morning of a home race, feeling utterly unprepared. The interview weighed heavily on my mind, and I wasn't in the right state to face it.
Standing in front of my reflection, I looked at myself, thoughts of my inadequacy resurfacing.
Oscar entered the room, his gaze settling on me. He positioned himself behind me, wrapping his arms around my waist and resting his chin on my head.
His presence brought both comfort and nerves as I stood in front of the mirror, still grappling with my insecurities.
He spoke softly, his compliment genuine and sweet. "I didn't know it was possible to be this pretty. You look amazing love," he murmured, his voice filled with affection.
I stepped away from him, the compliment not offering the comfort it usually would. My actions were distant, as if I was subconsciously putting up a barrier.
"Thanks," I responded distantly, my tone devoid of the warmth that usually accompanied my words.
The fear of his departure and my sense of inadequacy still lingered in my heart, casting a shadow over the moment.
Oscar seemed puzzled by my distant behavior, his confusion evident. Seeing right through my attempt to avoid him, he asked gently,
"Baby, did I do something wrong? Why are you avoiding me?"
His voice was tinged with concern, his eyes filled with hurt at my distance.
I quickly responded, trying to change the subject. "No, you did nothing wrong. Uhm, shouldn't you leave for the race?"
Oscar looked at me, his gaze lingering on me before reluctantly letting it go.
"Wait, weren't you coming with me?" he questioned, his tone hinting at his confusion.
I responded with a slightly busted attitude, "Oh, uhm, I'm not done getting ready yet. I'll come later, though."
It was a lie, and Oscar seemed to sense that something was off.
Despite the passing time, he decided to focus on his own preparations while stealing a moment to kiss my forehead before leaving.
I took a moment to muster my courage, realizing that Oscar didn't deserve being pushed away because of my insecurities.
With a deep breath, I prepared myself to face the day and attend the race, pushing through the weight of my doubts.
As the hours flew by, I found myself standing in the garage, watching from afar, torn between my worries and the desire to support him.
After awhile I decided to go to the restroom since I still had some time before the race started.
As I was walking, I heard voices behind me, and my name being mentioned caught my attention.
I stopped to listen—not that I meant to eavesdrop, but hearing my name made it impossible not to.
From what I could tell, these girls were likely McLaren fangirls. Well duh after all, they were dressed in papaya colors.
Girl 1: "It's crazy that Oscar is still dating y/n. She doesn't even fit his ideal type."
Girl 2: "I know, right? Like, she's not even close."
Girl 3: "Yeah, he must be leading her on or something."
Girl 4: "Or maybe she's in it for the fame and money."
Girl 5: "Oh, definitely. There's no other reason she would be with him."
The girls' laughter echoed in my ears, each comment like a punch to my heart.
Girl 2: "Seriously, you'd think he could do better than her."
Girl 1: "Yeah, she's not even that attractive compared to the other girls he's dated before."
Girl 3: "I bet he'll realize soon that he could get someone way better."
Girl 4: "Well, if the fame and money aren't enough, then he's definitely settling."
I couldn't bear to listen any longer, my tears streaming as I fled to the restroom, seeking solace to hide my distress.
Time slipped away as I stayed there, isolated, wrestling with my tormenting thoughts and self-doubts.
Meanwhile, the McLaren garage buzzed with pre-race energy, but Oscar couldn’t focus. His eyes darted around the paddock, scanning for any sign of you.
Anxiety churned in his gut as he spotted his teammate leaning casually against a workbench.
“Lando!” Oscar called, walking over briskly.
Lando glanced up, eyebrows raised. “What’s up, mate?”
Oscar hesitated before blurting out, “Have you seen Y/N anywhere?”
Lando frowned, clearly puzzled. “No, mate, haven’t seen her. Matter of fact, I don’t think I’ve seen her around for the last few races. Is everything okay?”
Oscar sighed, running a hand through his hair. “I don’t know, mate. She’s been so distant lately, and I have no idea what I’ve done to upset her.”
Lando’s expression softened, a mix of pity and thoughtfulness. “Could it maybe have to do with that video that went viral again?”
Oscar blinked, confused. “What video? That old F2 interview of mine? That was years ago! I was just joking in most of it anyway.”
Lando shrugged, giving him a pointed look. “Mate, you might want to check the comments under her recent Instagram post. I think that’s your answer.”
With a sympathetic pat on the back, Lando turned and walked off, leaving Oscar alone with his thoughts.
He pulled out his phone, his fingers quickly navigating to your profile. The comments under your latest post hit him like a brick.
“Oh no,” Oscar muttered, his stomach sinking. “No wonder she’s been distant…”
He mentally kicked himself, remembering that dumb interview where he’d been too cocky for his own good.
“I didn’t even mean half the stuff I said,” he whispered to himself, cringing at the memory.
Before he could search for you and explain himself, a crew member called his name, dragging him toward the car for pre-race preparations.
“Great timing,” he muttered under his breath. But he made a promise to himself: as soon as this race was over, he’d find you and make things right.
Meanwhile, back to you, the restroom break had taken longer than expected. The initial plan to kill time before the race started had backfired; now, a dull ache was forming in my head, and I couldn’t shake the feeling of unease creeping up on me.
I leaned against the sink for a moment, taking a deep breath. “This is ridiculous,” I muttered to myself, but the discomfort wasn’t going away.
Deciding it was best not to push myself, I pulled out my phone and quickly typed a message to Oscar:
Not feeling great. Heading back home. Don’t worry about me.
I hesitated before hitting send. He’d probably be confused or even concerned, but the last thing I wanted was to worry him.
With a sigh, I hit send and slipped my phone back into my bag.
As I stepped out of the restroom and headed for the exit, I couldn’t help but feel a pang of guilt.
On the way, I also let Oscar's manager know I left, just in case he didn't check his phone.
I knew Oscar would notice my absence, but today, it felt easier to retreat than to stay and face everything swirling in my mind.
Little did I know, Oscar was already worrying.
The race had ended, with Oscar clinching a solid P4, just behind Lando. Though pleased with his result, his mind was elsewhere.
He wanted nothing more than to see you, to feel your arms around him, and hear you tell him how proud you were—just like old times.
But as he scanned the crowd, his hope began to waver. You weren’t there.
His manager noticed Oscar’s distracted gaze and approached him. “Looking for Y/N?” the manager asked gently.
“She left you a message. Said she wasn’t feeling well and headed home.”
Oscar’s jaw tightened, his heart sinking. You hadn’t told him the truth.
A mix of frustration and hurt bubbled to the surface. Without a word, he decided to skip the team celebrations and headed straight home.
When Oscar arrived, he didn’t waste a second. Dropping his bag by the door, he called out loudly—his voice sharper than usual.
“Y/N!”
You were downstairs in no time, a soft smile on your face.
“Oh, hey, Osc! You’re back early. How was the race?” I asked sweetly, trying to act normal.
But Oscar wasn’t having it. His expression was hard as he stared at you.
“You would’ve known if you didn’t leave,” he said, his voice laced with frustration.
Guilt washed over me, and you stammered, “I’m sorry, Osc. I wasn’t feeling well—”
“Cut the crap, Y/N!” he interrupted, startling you. His voice was raised, something he rarely did.
“When are you going to finally admit the real reason you’ve been like this? Tell me! I’m sick of it!”
I flinched but couldn’t blame him. He deserved an explanation. At the same time, I’d had enough, too. My emotions spilled out, my voice breaking.
“How would you feel if people kept telling you that your partner is too good for you? That you’re not good enough, that you’re too ugly, not their type, only with them for the money?!”
Tears streamed down my face as you continued.
“And yes, it’s about that stupid interview of yours! I can’t help it, okay? Call me dumb, call me a crybaby, but this is too much!”
By now, I was full-on sobbing, unable to meet his gaze. But before I could crumble further, I felt his arms wrap around me, pulling me close.
His voice was soft now, gentle. “Why didn’t you tell me, baby? I could’ve helped. We’re a team, remember?”
I sniffled, my voice trembling as I replied, “Those were your words, Oscar. I can’t take them back or change them.”
He sighed, his hand running soothingly up and down your back. “Babe, that interview was years ago. I was joking around the entire time. If you’d watched the whole thing, you’d see that.”
I shook my head, unsure, but he leaned back just enough to look at me.
“Since when is my favorite color pink?” he teased, a small laugh escaping him.
Despite yourself, you let out a small laugh, too.
“That's better,” he said, smiling.
“Listen to me. Everything I said in that interview wasn’t true. I was 18, tired, and didn’t even want to be there. I was just trolling to get it over with.”
I laughed again at his confession, finally meeting his eyes.
“There’s that pretty smile,” he said, his tone softer now. “I’m sorry you had to deal with that, but next time, talk to me, okay?”
I nodded, wiping your tears. “I will. I’m sorry for doubting you… for pushing you away.”
He smiled warmly, leaning in to peck your lips a few times.
“It’s okay, love. I get why you did it. But don’t you ever doubt yourself again, yeah? You’re the most beautiful girl in the world. If anyone doesn’t deserve someone, it’s me. How did I get so lucky, huh?”
He cupped your face, his thumb gently caressing your cheek before pulling you into a long, passionate kiss. When he finally pulled back, his forehead rested against yours.
“Don’t you ever doubt yourself,” he whispered. “You’re my ideal type. Always.”
I laughed softly. “Alright, alright, I get it.”
Suddenly, Oscar scooped me up into his arms, bridal style, making me squeal.
“Osc! What the hell are you doing? Put me down!”
He grinned, shaking his head as he headed toward the bedroom.
“Nope. Let me show my gorgeous girl how much I love her.”
And let’s just say, the night ended perfectly. From that moment on, I never doubted his love for me ever again.

DAY 25 - CHRISTMAS DAY
Pairing: Noah Sebastian X Reader
Content Warnings: Christmassy feels, established relationship, kissing, swearing

The holidays can be hard, so I hope everyone has a good day whether they celebrate Christmas or not. You are loved.
Please do something nice for yourself today because you deserve it, even if it is small, make yourself happy today!
Wishing you all a Merry Christmas!
You could already hear Jesse and Jolly bickering downstairs as you awoke on Christmas Day in Noah's arms.
You couldn't move since his arms were so heavy and holding you so tightly, so you had to admit defeat and snuggle back into his chest.
Sleep reclaimed you shortly after.
You awoke a short while later to soft kisses being placed across your face as you opened your eyes to see Noah waking you up.
"Jesse wants us to go and do presents now. He's been begging." Noah had groaned.
You simply laughed at your friend's excitement.
This was the first Christmas you had spent with Noah and not with your family, so it was weird, but definitely welcome.
Noah's Christmas was definitely more laid back in comparison, since he wasn't a huge fan of the holiday anyway, but it was still already more enjoyable.
The house was quiet besides Jesse's fussing downstairs, but that was welcome too.
Begrudgingly, you both made your way downstairs, your hands interlinked.
Jesse was sat on the sofa beside the Christmas Tree grinning like a maniac as he hurried you and Noah down the stairs.
He handed out the gifts like a small child which made you laugh.
The whole while you were opening your gifts, you glanced at Noah who simply gazed back at you, a lost but loving look in his eyes.
The kind you get when you look at a puppy or a nostalgic photo.
He smiled at you warmly, making your heart flutter.
Jesse's excitement faded into nothing as you looked at eachother lovingly.
This is what having a soulmate feels like, you realised.
Noah was your soulmate, and you were his.
The sound of Michael Buble singing 'It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas' filled the air as Jesse began singing it in an attempt to mimic his voice, but failing miserably, making Jolly erupt into laughter.
Later on in the day, the rest of the guys came over for Christmas dinner.
It was nice having such a crowded house as it felt more like the Christmases you were used to.
Dinner was even better as Matt, Noah and Jolly took over cooking.
Folio suggested putting a movie on after we ate, so you all settled on watching Elf.
You were curled up on the sofa, snuggled into Noah's side, whilst Matt was practically curled up against you due to the lack of space.
It was nice. Cosy.
Gradually, everyone began to either leave of fall asleep where they were sat until it was just you and Noah left awake.
Saying nothing at all, Noah simply leant down and placed a kiss on your lips.
"Merry Christmas Baby."
"Merry Christmas."
