it baffles me that there are people who do not believe in causes, nor in people-- they believe in The Law. The Law is simple. The Law is the indomitable power that rules over morals, justice, and life itself. The Law is natural order given written form and enforced by authority. Government is The Law. Police are The Law. To be against The Law is to be against what is right and holy. The contents of The Law do not matter; it only matter thats it is The Law. It is a self-sustaining belief- what is The Law is right, and if it is right, it must be Law. The Law is never wrong. The people who enforce it, who write it, who benefit from it are never wrong.

Executors of The Law can do anything in the name of it. They are arbiters of a force of nature, as present and inextricable from organic life as water or sunlight. Their actions are protected by The Law,a nd they protect The Law in return. To oppose The Law is to oppose the natural order.

Maybe in the past, when The Law is different and has since changed, maybe back then, it was wrong. But now it is right! We are always in the present. We have always been ruled by The Law. And in fifty years, when The Law changes again, they will look back on now and say the same thing they have been saying for decades.

I was once posting a pic of this and it was a flop and it is okay because i think i know why. Because.... WHY the food stall uses a country as its' name?!?!

I need to explain about it.

So, after i took this photo, idk, i was just curious so i googled what Prasmanan meant. Prasmanan is an independent style of picking your own choice of food and beverages. I know, sounds like a buffét. It is INDEED a buffét.Prasmanan actually means "Fransman" in Dutch. Prasmanan is a pun (?? Idk how to say it in English, i just know the word in mine is Plesetan (dari kata tersebut)) from the word of Fransman itself. F is changed into P because Indonesian people (especially *ahem* my tribe (i'm not proud of this fact tbh)) frequently interchange the pronouncations of these alphabets, F and P. Then adding "An" so it is identified as a noun word.

The story behind this is crazy. It is well-known Indonesia is colonized by Dutch. Nah, here comes the interesting part. After Dutch is conquered by Napoleon and he appointed Louis to rule Dutch, Louis sent Daendels to govern in Batavia (Jakarta). Daendels was a rebel to his own country. He was very fond of French Revolution and its ideologies. He idgaf the warning from the Netherlands. He was, indeed, ruled the land like he had no care in this world. I remember i read somewhere that even though French Revolution was open for all religions to practice their faiths and didn't restrict it, Daendels was torn apart about this. He decided he allowed religion pratice, but restricted and was very strict about it. He feared it had the power to conquer and the civilians would have an idea to rebel, since this was easy for the local religion practitioner like ustadz to gain sympathy and attention from the civilians. He fearead the attention wasn't purely about religion practice anymore.

Here arrived the French people to Indonesia. The French and the Dutch ate in the same room. The French had different approach of dining in style✨️ the French would make a queue beside what we call buffét. They took their own choice of food, walked out of the queue and then sat. This, made the Dutch irritated. Their food was always delivered by the staff to their dining table. THE DUTCH WERE JEALOUS OVER THE FRENCH. The dutch didn't want the French to be over independent (this is their standars and really dude??) The Dutch often muttering "Deze Fransman, die Fransman" and it was not comprehensible to the locals. I think this happened first in Cirebon, but i was not sure. So, the locals caught the word "Pransman" later Prasmanan. Remember, the locals didn't know what "Fransman" was. They thought that was a noun or an object, not a Frenchman. Heck, they didn't know French people existed and came here! They thought Frenchman was also Dutchman😭😭!!

Here also comes an interesting part. All Indonesians know eating with prasmanan style is a trend EXCEPT for the Chinese people and Chinese-Indonesians that reside in South Sumatra. Until to this second, in South Sumatra especially its' capital, Palembang, whenever they have weddings (or any occassions), they offer many options of dining styles. One of it is prasmanan, but it is not written as "prasmanan" but as "manger à la français". BOY THEY KNOW SOMETHING. This shocks me lmfao.
