feeling insane about the deep dream extra again. I like to make jokes about shen qingqiu seeing binghe hugging his corpse and deciding to fuck that man to qi deviation, but when I think about the emotions communicated in that moment it's so much more. shen qingqiu just got insight into a moment he wasn't around for, when binghe was grieving him so terribly, when binghe still didn't have answers for sqq's actions, when he kept reenacting a moment of nonsexual physical intimacy that left such a profound effect on his psyche

and shen qingqiu obviously can't change what happened in the past, but what he can do upon waking up is kiss binghe, press his hand to his beating heart, affirm (out loud!! a big deal for shen qingqiu!!!) that he wants him -- communicating with his actions that "I was gone then, but I'm here now, I'm alive, I won't be leaving, I love you and want you even when it hurts"

#svsss #him pressing his hand to his heart is really what gets me #there's so much else going on that it's easy to brush over #but coming out of a dream where binghe was cradling his corpse for five years straight #it feels like a reassurance that he's there and he's alive #he's warm and breathing in binghe's arms and he's there by choice because he loves binghe so much #there's something so special to me about sqq seeing all the sides to binghe #the parts of him that are offputting or mean or ugly #and still loving him so completely #loving him like there's no question. how could he not love luo binghe?#anyway. augh. ough. taking bingqiu damage #i hate this series why does it get me to analyze characters and themes through sex scenes

i just had this beautiful perfect cozy dream (i just woke up like half an hour ago lmao) of me and miggy going on a casual/comfy (long sweatshirts x baggy sweatpants) pier date :((

I don't know what's been up with me lately (as in, the last two or three days), but all I seem to want to do is hold him so close and keep him in my arms. It makes me wonder if all of the guys are touch-starved to some degree, and if my sweetheart is, then I clearly have to fix it.. He loves thunder. He loves lightning. As someone on the spectrum of nuerodivergency and with PTSD: sometimes a loud noise can startle him, and he has trouble sleeping during storms, like he did as a child in his mother's arms when a hurricane blew from the coast and his father was away on business.
